The food is nice but the service is not good - I understand it’s rubbish working in the service industry but you’re dealing with tired travellers, and being rude from the off is never going to work! As a side note, your policy for not allowing people to eat your takeaway food on your empty tables (despite being the same price) is silly - I was told by the staff to use the Pret tables!?

I had a great experience in Yo Sushi in St.Pancras. I would definitely recommend it. The staff was very attentive and the manager (I think, guy called yannis) gave me a full briefing on all the items on the menu. I have to admit, hospitality like this is very seldom these days, especially in busy places. Food was good, better than what you would expect in a chain restaurant. Will definitely come back!

Food is very overpriced for the quality and service. We went for lunch and there were limited options coming around on the conveyor belt and not priced at a good value. For the higher priced rolls we grabbed, they lacked quality taste and weren’t worth the price. Service was poor - we had to ask several times for our items. Won’t go back.

Ramen was quite disappointing—lacked flavour, and the egg was boiled to a rubbery solid, pale in colour, and we only got half of it. The broth tasted like it came straight from an instant packet. The selection of sushi on the plates was rather monotonous as well.

Awful experience. Has the company been sold? Drastically understaffed, waiting staff working hard but obviously stretched very thin, very terse and unfriendly welcome from the guy who is apparently the manager, piles of dirty dishes on tables, literally no plates on the belt (at 1.30pm) , most dishes on the menu unavailable. Been a customer for 20 years. Never again, sadly.

Cinnamon bun was still chilled (presumably defrosted). They offered to warm them up for us - still cold in the middle afterwards and had a really unappetising warm rubbery texture on the outside. Three buns and they all went in the bin. Gross.

For a carrot cake described as the "ultimate carrot cake" this had a lot to live up to as the only dessert I eat is carrot cake and it's a rarity. It's a big statement to be the "ultimate" but sadly it falls so far off that title. A perfect carrot cake should be moist, soft, fresh with a cream cheese topping. Not dry, not hard, not lacking in flavour. Sadly I bought on the basis of the word "ultimate". That's a big word and shouldn't be used lightly. This was so far off being "ultimate" and I felt so short changed. For me dessert is a privilege not a regular occurrence and this promised high and did not deliver. On the other hand, the flat white coffee was delicious exactly as it should be

Service is consistently poor here. Get seated after waiting for ages, despite it being empty. On the last 3 occasions I have been seated and then left for ages. Staff are not actively looking to help you, instead far away from customers with their backs turned. Today I was firstly ignored by a member of staff- she asked if I was ready, I said yes and then she walked away. I had to then get the attention of the other staff member after 20 minutes as she had not returned. I even heard them discussing that I hadn’t ordered anything yet but still did not come and communicate with me. When she finally came over and I mentioned this to her, she was not even apologetic.

Inside Benugo, we found a little oasis of calm, in the otherwise sometimes hectic St Pancras station. An early evening pit-stop / meetup point, we chilled as we ate heated toasties and baguettes, drank coffees. All were very good...as were the friendly and efficient staff. Benugo is located opposite Starbucks, near the main ticket office, in the station.

I possibly had the worst sandwich ever. I chose the salami bagette thinking I cant go wrong. I got it cold. The sandwich had tough cheese and was very watery with sundried tomato and pesto and greens as well as the salami. There was a battle of taste . It truly was the worst sandwich . Both execution wise and taste. I also felt the ingredients werent fresh and I felt full in a non appetising way. after eating it. I ate less than half and despite being hungry could not complete it. Please change the sandwich and take it off ur menu completely. It tastes awful and its not fresh.

This review is for the quieter Benugo branch at St Pancras International, called the Espresso Bar. Some colleagues and I were prowling the station, trying to decide where we could get good coffee, in proper cups. One colleague suggested this place. Brilliant. A lady called Diana made brilliant Macchiatos, so good we had them again, others had teas which were beautifully served. Cinnamon buns were had after a drink or two, and I was raving about those for the rest of the day. A really nice peaceful little café, without the heavy footfall of the other branch at this station. Good value as well. Great service and we found it friendly.

This was my second experience there at Yo Sushi. Food is really tasty and mainly for those who love this cuisine it is really good. For me, exposure to this kind of food is limited as I had travelled from India. Even then I found this good, so it is highly recommended for vegetarians. My only advice to those who are traveling is be careful and mind your luggage and any items with you. I had the bad experience of having two of my bags stolen from there while dining.

Very very expensive for what it is. The unlimited miso soup is only a few pounds and very good. Obviously the whole point is the conveyor belt sushi but this is very expensive. The wait for menu items was quite long, maybe it was a busy time but there was a load of empty tables. The kids enjoyed it but it was a couple of hundred pounds for 2 adults and 2 kids.

Really don't know why I ate here. If ever a place trades off it's brand and location, this is it. The choice of sushi on the conveyor was limited, there was nearly exclusively salmon, which I like, but I also like tuna and other types of fish... Nope. But not pigs in blankets, or fried chicken sushi?! No thanks. The location was cold, the service was cold, and the bill was £50 for my sushi and a couple of beers.

I invited my boyfriend to try food at this restaurant. The JFC meal was tasty but I was extremely disappointed with the sweetcorn as it was off/ sour! I informed the waiter several times the sweetcorn was off and sour. He decided to take the dish away into the kitchen and reheat the same dish! I was very disappointed by the customer service. Lastly, I did find a hair in one of the sushi dishes, but the chef making the sushi was very nice to be able to make a new dish for us when we had informed him about the hair. I hope that Yo! Sushi can enforce new training for the staff to be able to deliver better customer service!

Sushi here was so yummy, really hit the spot! Hot food (i only had the pumpkin katsu) was extra hot and crunchy. Love it. The staff were friendly too. I felt a bit bad for the chef who got screamed at by a nasty customer- though it seemed he was upset he was still really kind and friendly to all customers and his staff. Kudos to him. The only reason for the 4/5 is I do think this place that it is quite overpriced. You can go to other sushi spots for less and easily eat more. Portions are also quite small compared to other restaurants. If they had certain deals or specific days/times where the sushi is a bit cheaper, I think that would be more reasonable. Thankfully I am a student so I get a bit of discount but I can imagine it’s quite dire paying full price (it already was with student discount). Unfortunately if this place didnt give 20% off for students I definitely would not be able to afford it.

We came into Yo! In St Pancras Station after travelling for hours on the train we were very keen to have our hands on some sushi. My partner hadn't been before but I had up when there used to ne a Yo! In Glasgow. We waited a while before a lady wearing a hijab came over she looked disinterested in serving us and we were merely pointing the way where our table was and I had to ask for a menu eventually. The tables weren't clean (we were at table 7) but I was too hungry to care. We started with having a bowl of edamame beans to share and this was perfectly seasoned and we enjoyed it so much that we decided to have another bowl. This went down a treat and I did like that there was a rotating belt so we could help ourselves to anything we wished. We had two Masai hand rolls which were cucumber, inari and avocado with mayo & toasted sesame seeds in a nori rice cone. This was delicious and we enjoyed it was perfect to try a little bit of everything. The star of the meal was the chicken teriyaki bowl which was with sticky soy glaze, topped with sesame and a fresh chilli kick. Dished up with steamed rice, pak choi & radish. This was delicious and my partner and I shared this and thought it was really tasty. However when it came to asking for the bill we had to wait a while before finally getting someone's attention and then the bill came to £72.29 including a service charge of £5.04. All the staff did was look incredibly overworked and I wasn't sure why this was not reflected in the menu prices. It was a bit more, actually double than I thought it was going to be. Thankfully my bank had cashback to this place so I got a little bit of money back. If this place was cheaper I could see myself visiting here more regularly but at that prove with the service we had, I don't think I would.

We’ve been coming for light lunches from before they moved to the old Source place. Still can’t get over how and why the ordering system is still complicated and confusing. It’s not straightforward. And then there’s this other counter on the other side, can we order there too? We’re never sure so we just go to the big one. It’s just lucky I guess it’s not that busy whenever we go. We persevere because we do like the flat breads, the ciabattas and the new wraps. Lots of choices with interesting fillings and tasty.

C’est trop cher. Vraiment, c’est abusé. Ne venez pas si vous avez bien faim. Les portions sont ridicules. Pour deux minuscules morceaux de sushis, c’est 4.50£. J’aurais compris si ça serait 1 rouleau complet, mais là, ce ne sont que des minis makis… Les cuisiniers n’ont même pas de filet. Bref, un concept de sushis à volonté à un prix fixe aurait été bien avec ce système, mais là c’est juste trop cher de prendre plat par plat vu la taille des portions. Un attrape touristes.

I usually going to this restaurant often because the food and service was amazing, but the last couple of times the food was horrible, more than half of the menu orders was missing, the guy in the kitchen with a long hair he didn’t wear, hear net and the most awful was he took the dirty knife from the sink and he start to cut our rolls with that dirty knife. When we brought this to their attention, they just ignored in a very rude way they didn’t even butter to apologise, the worst experience that I had and i stopped visiting your location since then. Also the dishes on the belt all looked off. Someone should look into this because is a shame for such a nice place to get so low service and food quality.

Worst dining experience I’ve ever had. Took me to a seat and neglected to tell me that they weren’t serving sushi unless it was already on the belt - the ingredients were literally on the tables in front of me but they had decided they would only do takeaway and not serve seated customers as they were understaffed… yet I literally saw them making what I asked for for a takeaway. Shockingly awful. Walked out, they didn’t care.

Went to Benugos at St Pancras. Wanted a toasted sandwich and a bottle of wine. A girl took my order but I was told I had to order food at the kitchen bar and come back to pay. I said OK. Just give me wine for now. She disappeared. A few minutes later another lady asked me what I wanted - I said I had already ordered. She said- no the person you ordered from cannot serve you for religious reasons- I said but she can't even tell you what I want. It's a bar ! Why is she working here? She wasn't happy. I was told to go to a fridge and select my own bottle of wine. I did that and paid for it. She gave me no glasses. She asked me - what do you want ? I said- do you expect me to drink it out of the bottle ? She said- please do NOT speak to me in that way! I said what way?- how do you expect me to drink the wine ! Such attitude and aggression!! Just dreadful ! It is London- we drink alcohol.Ben And Hugo need to reconsider their offering????

Sushi were actually fairly good, but what I witnessed today was a bit shocking. The woman who worked 29th June 18:45/19:00 obviously got tired from her customer-faced role (30-35 y.o., short, chubby, hair coloured in yellow, was in a pink/black blouse with flowers) - as we found out later -the manager of Yo! Kings Cross (!), while bringing food to the display run on purpose into the girl who was next to the display with opened take away, as the manager was aiming to squire by between the column and the girl, although the spot was really small. There was a plenty of space around, but the manager decided to push the girl and pass by. When the girl asked “Are you serious?”, the manager replied “I am serious” :) I understand that this must be a busy spot at Kings Cross, but why would you treat customers like this?! (and people in general). Also I would be questioning the manager’s approach at work if she acts like this facing customers - what then she expects from her team and what she trains them for? we ordered a pastry and drink but ordered food from somewhere else and ate at a table here. We were approached by an employee saying we cannot eat there because the food we were eating weren’t from there even though a bunch of people were eating food from other places. We continued to mention that we were customers as we bought a drink and pastry and he said what we do was disrespectful. He was so rude about it, I wish he had just mentioned that it wasn’t allowed but he just went in to say we were disrespectful even though it was a food court and there were no signs saying it wasn’t allowed.

Good sushi for the price. The hand rolls are a little suspect. The seaweed wrap was too moist. The salmon amazing. The tuna is kinda tasteless but I've noticed that at a lot of places the last few years.

Usually, i grab a couple of Little Moons from there to take back for my daughter, but they haven't had them recently, which is quite disappointing, but the food is great, and the staff are lovely

Terrible quality coffee. Too hot and bitter. You’d get a better quality coffee out of the instant machines in Greggs. I guess they survive on the fact that most customers aren’t regular travellers. I can’t see anyone becoming a repeat customer. Please train your staff on how to make coffee. I could put up with the seriously overpriced food but such a disappointment to get coffees for the family that are on the verge of undrinkable. Even the instant Costa machines in a garage make better coffee than this.

Super regret eating there. Never had sushi taste so bland before! Near to no service, tasteless food and poor value. Ate a few plates and left for another place for the rest of my lunch

Sushi is great. The hot dishes also very good - the duck fries are fantastic. Tables don’t look very clean and service can be a bit patchy. But otherwise, well worth visiting

Went to this Yo! Sushi at 7 o'clock on Sunday evening, knowing they closed at 8 I asked when they would stop taking takeaway orders - I was told 8 o'clock. They had Pumpkin Katsu Curry in the heated takeaway section but it was luke warm and if we are paying full price then we are entitled to a hot one. Came back 25 minutes later and waited at the takeaway order point, had to wait at least 5 minutes even though there was staff who kept looking at me. I was then told that I can not order takeaway, I explained that I was told I could half an hour before. He then asked the cook and they said they have a bit of rice left so they can make it up. Great. Waited ten minutes or so and was given our takeaway food. Sat down to eat it, 20 seconds later at a nearby seating area and it was not hot at all. I have had a lot of Yo Sushi's over the years but never been given a cold meal. Wasn't worth the £15 we paid and wished we had gone elsewhere.

Was taken to my seat, waited 30 minutes and none of the waiters came near me to take drinks or food order. Waiter said they were really busy while half the seats were empty. Used to love Yo! but afraid to say not anywhere near as good as it used to be. #standards

Expensive. And the app didn't work, which sucks big time. But, the staff were great and provided a good and friendly service. So, a good review but only for the staff, who delivered a great service.

This place used to be good. I would often buy some sushi from the bar and ask to get put fir take away to eat on my commute. However I was told they do not do this anymore, and that if I wanted take away I had to take from the outside fridge. I was very unhappy about that but I took a salmon sushi tray. So disappointed! It’s as bad as getting supermarket sushi but super expensive. Why can’t we just choose plates from the bar that have been freshly made? Also the person who prepared my order forgot to put soy sauce, so in addition to dry rice, I can’t wet it with sauce. Last time I go there, next time I will take from the prey a manger next to it.

Horrible Customer Service! I had to ask the waiter to clean the table as it was absolutely filthy! I had to pay for the items I ordered from the menu when I placed the order and the items I took from the conveyer belt when I was finished, which is odd. The food was ok, but the dining experience at Yo Sushi has gone down hill. I would not recommended eating here.

Incredible decor with all walls plastered in movie and music memorabilia. Drink selection is ok but only craft beers when we went and no ales available.
