It used to be beautiful and interesting 20 years ago. Now it's London's biggest tourist trap, with overpriced junk, overpriced and bad food, no longer as authentic as it once was, and filthy everywhere.

Very typical and lots of restaurant choices. Be careful, however, that some passages are narrow and many birds pilfer over what you get.

Super interesting place. A big mix of characters and shops. IMO it needs a huge cleanup job and storefronts need repainted. Lots of food choices though and lots to see. Especially in the gothic funky aspect.

Although it's always a pleasure to walk there and it remains an essential address, Camden Market has lost its punk/crazy side over the last ten years (since the fire of 2017, in fact). It has become a big bazaar, but well organized, where the crazy no longer really has a place, a sort of ultra-organized bohemian souk. And the place has lost its soul. It's a shame. But, I repeat, it's still very nice to do, to walk around and eat at one of the street food stalls (even if there too, there was much more cultural diversity before).

What can I say except that you can't leave London without passing through Camden! We discover the bustling atmosphere of the world city. Allow time to wander freely on the steps. Even if the best is of course a victim of its success and overtourism, it remains essential. Please note the market closes in the evening. Camden then gives way to the party animal but don't worry, it all remains very safe even in the evening.

One of the nicer districts of London

There is no excuse not to experience this part of town. Easy to get there, I used bus 24 from central London. You get to know more if you sit upstairs, a fun way to get to the market. Also, the underground is a few minutes away. A bit of everything for everyone in your group: shopping, walking, and tasting local foods. Children can have an extra exciting time at the candy store. I moved this market high-up in my list to return in my next stay in London.

Worth the detour. Lots of small shops for eating on the go. Sometimes original shops. Very nice with a little ray of sunshine. 20 minutes by bus from saint pancras

Great market, huge, food stalls, gifts, clothes, jewellery, lots of stuff to look at and buy.

If you stick with the first price they tell you in the stores, they'll give you the hell of a lifetime, you have to haggle. At night there is a somewhat strange atmosphere and they offer you plants all the time...

Part of the overall Camden market offering with a nice variety of foods and desserts. Quality is hit and miss and it won't be cheap. Not quite a tourist trap but don't usually spend too much when here

Overhyped and overpriced, but still has a few decent places to get some nice food. The place is quite dirty, full of food stealing birds and bird faeces.

Nice place to visit even the history is great

Although the market has a great footfall this is mostly through travelers from far and wide . This is important because of the current economic climate!! Having said that I did enjoy the visit even on a wet day.

If you're in London you can't miss Camden Town market. It's an amazing place to check out.

My favorite place in London. Every corner offers photographic views. An infinite number of shops and food of all kinds.

Great to walk around there, very pleasant and dynamic open market. There is something for everyone. Don't hesitate to discover the little streets. Some stores are very eccentric, it's very interesting to discover (Hantz&Gretel, Cyberdog...). Street food for all tastes, reasonable prices. I recommend 100%!

You are catapulted into a multi-ethnic place, certainly picturesque, attractive for younger people, but also for vintage lovers.

Fantastic, original texts on sweaters and t-shirts. Good food, we had a photo shoot where you have the ability to be in a western, gangster, royalty or wedding. You buy the photo(s) at the end for a reasonable price, nice souvenir to take home.
