Doughnut Time in Kensington and Chelsea

Had a craving for a proper jam doughnut. Nothing fancy - just the real deal. But this was the nastiest doughnut ever. The cashier said it was full to the brim with raspberry jam. I asked if it was light and fluffy or just a ring doughnut and he said very light and a proper doughnut. What a load of BS. This was a dry dense ring doughnut with no more than a heaped teaspoon of jam in the middle. And to make matters worse it had cinnamon sugar. Anyone who knows anything about Jammie Doughnuts knows you ONLY use sugar. Nothing else. So this was a nasty dry dense cinnamon sugared ring doughnut with a cheap pathetic sticky paste poor excuse for jam. And the thieving b*stards charged £4.50 for the ordeal. Do NOT waste your money. Get a 50p doughnut from Tesco instead!

Gran selección, mucho para elegir pero muy abundante, muy dulce, un poco sin sabor y, lamentablemente, fue bastante seco! Definitivamente no es la mejor dona de todos los tiempos.

Helt klart det bedste sted i London hvis du eller resten af familien er sultne efter doughnuts. Udvalget er stort og lækkert. Og der er noget til enhver smag. Også til veganere og dermed også til vores mindste barn, der er allergisk overfor mælk og æg. Dagens valg; chokolade chok og karamel..... Meget store - så to var nok til hele familien. Vi håber meget på at komme igen!

I bought a 4-pack of donuts from this small shop after reading reviews of this place. I found that although they were delicious, they were at times a bit too sickly sweet. The Biscoff and Twix doughnuts stand out the most for me. I would love to come back but the prices put me off.

This place has a small ‘hole-in-the-wall’ booth close to the Notting Hill Bookshop. The location is convienet if you don’t taking your donut elsewhere to eat it. I bought the red velvet honour but found that I didn’t enjoy it that much. The icing was the best thing about the donut. I would rate the donuts here as not as good as Krispy Kremes or the donuts you can get a few few meters away on Portobello Road on Saturdays. They also don’t take cash, only card.
