Kings road staple for many years, classic avg pub

It was a very nice place, ps: do not order a 5 starter deal if your all by yourself, wont be able to finish it.

This place is always fun. Me and my boyfriend Steve love coming here on the weekends. Good vibes and the manager with the long hair was great. She was super friendly and seemed to really care about the customers.

Cozy pub with really spacey outside/picnic table styled. It’s calm and in a classy area.

Great place to have a pint and some food! Definitely recommended specifically for the lovely staff

Great Greenking pub on the corner of Radnor walk on the kings road. Great value drinks & selection. Nice little seating area on the Radnor walk side.

Truly awful, just no redeeming features about the appalling food at this pub on a Bank Holiday Sunday at all. The roast beef was inedible, the potatoes were not roasted, the carrots were so over cooked as to be burnt, the cauliflower was also burnt, the only thing not burnt was a minuscule bit of cabbage. The Yorkshire pudding was poor, and the entire plate of food was not hot.

Had a delightful experience at Chelsea Potter. The food was classic pub fare, but with a touch of extra care that made every bite delicious. Loved the buzzing atmosphere, especially with the live sports on. Perfect for a casual night out in Chelsea. And the fact that they’re dog-friendly is a huge bonus! 🐾 Shout out to Laura who delivered amazing service, she was super welcoming and made sure we felt comfortable

Came by the Chelsea Potter for lunch, and had a really great experience. The food was delicious (there are a variety of smaller sharing plates and main courses available) and service was impeccable! Laura in particular went the extra mile to make our visit really special; she was kind and welcoming from the moment we walked in, and very knowledgable on the drinks and dishes available. She always went out of her way to ensure everything was ok with our food and drinks. I’ll certainly be returning soon!

I have been there on the 21/08/2024 with 4 friends what an amazing surprise! The pub is clean and spotless and the food is fantastic! If i could I would give 6 stars to the service, Laura the waitress was friendly and super helpful! I will be back!

I believe this is the only street side pub on the kings road I could be wrong. It’s utterly dreadful, what a waste of opportunity for this pub. Trendy kings road people with a bit of money could be flocking in here. The tables outside need to be changed. The toilets were absolutely disgusting and the smell lingers upstairs. Tables not clean and staff not able to mix drinks properly, it’s astonishing. It’s dark and dismal and needs a coat of paint and someone who knows what cleaning is. Didn’t see one table cleaned in three hours. So gross and airless it needs a decent manager. I could turn this pub round in three weeks. Even my mate who goes to a dreadful pub where he lives said this one beats it! Get a grip people.

I came in today with some friends for a couple drinks and a quick bit, i had a waitress called Danielle. She was a lovely. The service was quick and good. Will definetely be coming again

Very quiet pub. Very good price . The spectacular fish and cheep. It is outside the entire tourist area. Highly recommended. Very friendly waiters

I was walking in the area and decided to find somewhere to read. 5 minutes I found this place. It's in a prime location on the kings road. The staff were really nice and friendly and I felt welcomed. I had two pints of Guinness and some chips which were nice. If you're in the Chelsea area then come to the Chelsea potter 😊

Food ok for something quick and not too flashy but the guy behind the bar was pretty unfriendly and short with us. Then another guy knocked a bottle of drink over me and the table and didn’t offer to big another one or knock anything off the bill. Bit rubbish really!

On arrival at the pub we were left standing inside the door along with another customer. No one came to seat us even though the bartender/ manager saw us, and choose to ignore us so we all found our own seat. I placed my order at the bar, my friends ordered online. 45 minutes later none of us had received our food. The lady who had walked in in front of us had eaten and left by this stage and the bar was not overly busy. We went up to the bar to ask what was the delay, the waiter made no apologies or didn’t give any reason for the delay. 15 minutes later the food arrived. I bought a BLT which contained only a few pieces of chicken and bacon, which was very poor considering the price. As there was no genuine apology or remorse for such poor service and food I asked the waiter for some form of a good will gesture eg. a coffee or dessert. He looked blankly at me so I had to explain that he should ask his manager. 10 minutes later, I could see he had not approached the manager or come back with an explanation. On my way to the bathroom I asked him if he had any feedback, he looked surprised that I had persisted, and walked over to the bar man/ manager. I never heard anything back. Nobody approached me or gave any explanation regarding the delay. I ate everything which wasn’t hard as there was so little and because of the long wait, I was very hungry. Overall the customer service and food were atrocious.

Cool looking little pub, food was terrible, I agree with the previous review, my steak was definetly reheated, the bread was a terrible choice by the cook (not worthy of a chef title by any means), a few chuncks of steak, rip off

*DO NOT EAT HERE* Took an hour to receive 3 sandwiches. My side of chips was a miserable portion and the chips were stone cold and thrown on the plate. Clearly had been left sitting for a long time. We informed the staff we had been waiting a long time for food but the response was, ‘it takes some time. We are busy’ despite there only being about 4 tables of people eating food. We then complained that the chips were cold and were given no apology. The manager was even rude enough to leave us standing mid-conversation to serve another customer. The waiter was clueless and the manager was even worse. Neither had a clue. We even had to suggest that they replace the chips with fresh ones. The sandwich was tasteless and tasted no better than a prepackaged sandwich in a filling station. Avoid avoid avoid.

Went here for lunch, ordered two sandwiches and two drinks. The two sandwiches took an hour to be prepared and served to the table. The chips on one of the sandwiches were stone cold. I approached one of the bar staff who was quite unhelpful and said he would get his manager. The manager was extremely rude and unapologetic. He did reimburse me for the meals and two drinks which is the least they could do however while he was reimbursing me he never explained to me what he was doing and he just continued working on the till and serving other customers. There was no apology or any signs of compassion from him. They proclaimed they were very busy however the pub didn’t seem to be with many empty tables. When we did get to eat our food it was only mediocre and nothing special, the steak sandwich was cremated and the chicken BLT was very flavourless. When the cold food was brought back out the waiter had the cheek to say “I think you won’t have anything to complain about now” I found this to be quite rude and derogatory, if they had done their job right in the first place I wouldn’t have had to complain. There are much better options in the area with much more helpful staff

I recently had the pleasure of visiting Chelsea Potter’s Bar and it was an experience worth sharing. Located in the heart if london city this bar offers a unique blend of ambiance, drinks, and exceptional service.

Whats is wrong with this 2 gents behind the bar ? On the phone and looking bothered when Ive ordered a beer. Looking guests Up and down. Whats with the Attitude lads ?

Been here before we always come during Chelsea in bloom. Staff friendly never had my cocktail or cheese toasties. Went for coujon sandwiche and my husband had the chicken blt. Great food cannot fault it.

I came here last year whilst travelling around the UK. I came in for a drink and for a trip down memory lane. I used to work in The Trafalgar pub on the Kings Road in the 90s which is sadly gone now. I thought I'd pop into the Potter and refresh my memory as I would always pop in there on my days off, or to borrow some stock when I was at work. It was always fun and a great catch up with the staff there. I went with my wife who had also frequented the Potter in the 90s before we had met. I was very disappointed. The staff were awesome back then. Friendly, funny and couldn't do enough for everyone. The staff when I visited were cold, officious and abrupt and not attentive at all. They were curt and uninterested in providing good service. It was just a big let down. Ah well, things change....for the worst at times. I know it's a late review. I do hope the staff have changed since my visit.

I visited with a group of friends, part of a large group who effectively took over the pub. The atmosphere was great , the service good, prices London of course so expensive. But worth it.

Please improve your Sunday roast. I’m sorry to say but it was awful. Nothing on the plate came close to being a roast. Soggy potatoes, flat Yorkshire pudding. Go for the beers and the atmosphere

I only popped in today 10 April at lunch time for a coke and a packet of crisps which is a bad habit I know. The young lady who served me made me instantly welcome and served my drink while making polite friendly conversation. I do not know her name but she is a good asset for your business. I hope you praise her work for your company. Well done I shall frequent your pub again.

A real London evening! To begin with, after our arrival, the police came to throw a lady out but she wouldn't let it happen 🤜💥 And then an incredible scenario in the match between Chelsea and United with a 4-3 victory for the blues at the very end of the game 🤩 Top notch service 👌

Came in and asked for a guinesses, barman with the ginger beard was incredibly unwelcoming and rude. Guinness came and i noticed red lipstick all over the top. He gave me a glass and expected me to pour it in myself. Then as he was walking away I asked him to pour a new one. He poured the old one in, Terrible drink. Ordered 3 share plates, food was nice and served with glasses was really nice. Wouldn’t come again due to the barman’s rudeness.
