Estábamos muy emocionados acerca de este lugar, ya que parecía muy guay. En primer lugar no había mucha gente cuando visitamos así que le faltaba algo de ambiente, la comida era muy normal y también muy predecible nada nuevo o emocionante. Por el precio que pagamos no merece la pena,

Reservamos a través.co. uk livebookings por una parte las Navidades de 10. Llegamos a las 4 de la tarde y nos recibieron con algunos deliciosos aromas del vino caliente especiado ... mmmmm podría haber otra ahora. Fuimos por el menú Navidad que obviamente incluido Turquía como principal. Personalmente no soy un gran fan de Turquía, ya que encontrará siempre en la parte seca y se queda atascado en la garganta. Bueno, yo estaba equivocado ya que era suculentos y deliciosa ; -) continuamos en el restaurante hasta las 7 pm y luego nos trasladamos a la zona de bar como tenían otras reservas que tarde. Este fue sin problemas ya que nos reservaron una preciosa zona justo al lado del árbol Navidad que era justo como el cambio de ambiente nos dieron en el humor alegre bebiendo. El barman esa noche cuidaba muy bien de nosotros y cuando nos dimos cuenta algunos de nosotros un poco Tipsy lo mínimo que se puede decir que él nos ofreció unas cuantas botellas de agua de mesa y los aperitivos del menú del bar. Terminamos pidiendo una cena tarde a las 9:30 y todos fuimos muy feliz en unos 11 pm. buena día/noche. Definitivamente volveré y gracias a todo el personal por hacer que nuestro almuerzo Navidad tan agradable. Al final del día que es lo que es.

Fuimos a Red House para una comida de Navidad para 12 personas. Aunque entiendo que durante el período de Navidad restaurantes muy concurrido y servicio pueden deslizarse. Cuando el lugar es casi vacío no hay excusa para la comida en el mejor promedio (y caro). La directora fue grosero y no tiene idea de cómo manejar los miembros del público. Ninguno de nosotros volveríamos y os recomiendo que evitar.

Well that's what we thought....brilliant bar staff, lovely atmosphere....will def go gain. Excellent position. The food looked really good, but we didn't eat there.

Con esposa, hija y dos nietas , pasamos una semana en Londres, adonde grandes amigos nos prestaron un flat en Chelsea. Cerca de allí descubrimos, al segundo dia de llegar, al Red House. y este hallazgo fue tan exitoso que volvimos unos dias despues para repetir la experiencia. La comida era excelente (yo disfruté especialmente el Fish and Chips con un magnífico Haddock) y hubo para todos los gustos. La lista de vinos es corta pero bien seleccionada, e incluía un Sauvignon Blanc sudafricano, Touraine 2012, que era de excelente relación precio/calidad. Pero lo que quiero destacar MUY especialmente es la extraordinaria simpatía del personal que nos atendió. Además las chicas, que acababan de cumplir 15 años y estaban en su primer viaje a Europa, quedaron encantadas particularmente con Jack quien, aparte de atendernos con toda deferencia, mostró un sentido de humor que nos hizo reir con ganas a todos. Sin duda alguna, las horas pasadas en el Red House fueron de las mas divertidas que tuvimos en este viaje, además del hecho de que nuestros apetitos quedaron ampliamente satisfechos!

Uno de mis restaurantes favoritos en Londres. El personal es muy atento y amable, el ambiente tiene un montón de agitación que es probablemente debido a la gran cóctel selección y la lista de vinos disponibles. Para steak amantes, nunca mirarás atrás pidiendo la Nueva York Strip. ¡Muy recomendable!

The food was good .. Crab salad for starter and veal Milanese one of my favourites. Salads and accompaniments were tasty. Shame about the atmosphere ... the place was three quarters empty. A pleasant experience overall.

I am not sure where the photo above is from. This restaurant is a converted pub on Chelsea Green just off the Kings Road. It is not anywhere near Ilford.My wife and I have been to this pub/restaurant many times in the past and it was always famous for its great bar snacks in the pub at the front.It has recently changed hands and we popped in on a whim expecting more of the same maybe even with an improvement. Oh dear, how wrong could we be.The bar was full but it is very small, the restaurant was not busy and now we know why!The Maitre'D forgot to give us a wine list. He then poured the wine and plonked the bottle right next to my wife's elbow. We had to ask for an ice-bucket.The starters were ok, except my quails eggs were over done. The main however was inedible. We both went for the house burger and chips expecting a really great American style special. What arrived was a burger in an old sandal on a on a chopping board - or that's what it looked like and it tasted even worse. The chips were the worst I have had in a very long time. dried out skinny fries but with the skin still on - what is that all about?We stopped eating at about 25% of the main, it was that bad!The only redeeming feature - they did not charge us a penny! Big Plus!Big negative - the staff were not surprised at all that we sent the food back and they didn't really care either. It is a great location and a beautiful building. However, the new decor is washed out and totally uninspiring and sets the tone perfectly for a drab, uninteresting, tasteless meal.Avoid it at all costs, other than for a drink at the bar!!

We went here for my husbands and step daughters birthday's, there were seven of us. It took a long time for someone to get us seated and long time for our orders to be taken but once they were it was fine. The food was good we all had 3 courses plus drinks I couldn't finish mine so there was plenty. The house wine is good value for money. Its a Beefeater restaurant so its English food. I'm not sure what the bill came to as my husbands son paid for it but all in all a good night out.
