Oh Dear! Have been to this pub, on and off for over 60 years tho' not for 15 perhaps! Great ambience, proper pub interior, BUT pubs are about BEER, and as this is a Fullers (Brewers no less) that should be a priority. But no! Joined two friends at 12.35 and after a long hike from the suburbs needed a pint. Asked to taste one of the (non-Fullers) beers - full marks for buying in from small breweries - but it was "dead"! Looked nice but had been in the pipe for more than 12 hours, was flat and tasteless. "Have you pulled any through?" I asked the girl behind the bar. Slightly mystified replied "No - we haven't sold any yet. Any of the other three, including Fullers brews? No!" Had to have a pint of Guiness but would MUCH rather have had a pint of PROPER cask conditioned ale. I come from a family of brewers, spent all my school holidays in the brewery or in pubs with the brewer who, back then, checked that the publicans were looking after it and serving it right, so I know what "real ale" is about! I won't return to The Antelope again unless it's late in the day. But even then the earlier customers will have had flat, dead beer that's been in the pipes for 12 hours or more. That does no credit to the people who brewed it.

a very cozy and snug feel to the place. its small and full of wood walls furniture etc which gives it an (authentic) dickensian feel. fish and chips are particularly terrific. its a delightful but but. is tucked away on a side street, so youd only find it by accident or if you were deliberately going there. it has some kind of long standing connection with local cricket clubs.

A beautiful pub tucked away from the main crowds and with a snug bar a must visit again. Attended for a private event upstairs and the whole evening was excellent.

The pub itself is great but the food - Sunday roast beef in our case, was dreadful - overcooked & tough, reminiscent of school dinners.

Olde worlde with a good deal of character, this place had ‘buzz’ and was full of business bids alongside locals and the odd tourist. There are lots of nooks & crannies. Food wise, the usual ‘grub’ was available - and very good it was too. A confident recommend on a chilly Autumn night !

The pub is quite traditional and all the better for it. A great range of beers and wine as well as low/non alcoholic options. I spent part of two days here last week while we were waiting to attend Cadogan Hall during the evening and It was a most welcoming place to spend a few hours. The management and staff are all an asset to the business. The food menu and quality didn't seem to bad either.

My absolute favorite fish and chips while in London for two days, recently. I was on a fish n' chips tour, so to speak -- had it three times in two days. Why did I rate this one the best? The perfect breading and crispness -- the perfectly cooked white fish -- the overall flavor, texture, and pizzazz. This really was some very delicious haddock. It went very well with the Guinness. Wait staff was friendly with the correct balance of information and leaving us on our own. Cheers!

A brilliant quintessential British pub. A great social spot just off Sloane Square. Gets very busy in the evenings, which is testament to its popularity. Great Fuller’s beer on draught. Manager Sandra is very friendly and helpful as are her team. Always my landing spot if I’m in the Sloane Square area for drinks.

This is an interesting and traditional pub with a central square island bar. Good selection of drinks and friendly staff. It was not possible to find a seat in the early evening but otherwise not crowded. It seems to be frequented by locals and is off the main tourist drag. Great place for a quick pint.

Extremely disappointing - if you like your Christmas turkey Bernard Matthews style i.e. processed and inedible (I've never left half of my meat uneaten in my entire life) ... this is the place for you !

Enjoyed a family dinner out on a Monday night. We had fish and chips, chicken and veg, and the linguine. Very nice all around. People seems to be enjoying themselves. TV with World Cup on. The people are super nice and polite. :-)

Like a deep freeze inside with the aircon set to South 15c with the fan on high, which was unnecessary considering it was only 25c outside. Service was good and staff welcoming and pleasant.

As a solo woman, going to pubs, especially in the evening, can be a challenge. But I decided to risk going out from my Airbnb and exploring. Found this small pub off a side street, and it was perfect. Went in, asked at the bar if I sat myself or ordered there, & told to order there, which I did. Very good service, but it was not packed. Being alone, I didn't want to take up a whole table, so I asked a gentleman sitting alone at a 2-seater if I could join him. He nicely agreed, and he continued with his crossword. He did tell me at one point, that this was a very safe pub for solo females, which I appreciated. I would definitely go back, and I do recommend this neighborhood pub. Didn't have food, so can't comment on that, but I had a good time.

In fact there are a couple of good pubs on Eaton Terrace, a short walk from Sloane Square Tube station, but I prefer this late Georgian pub to the nearby Duke of Wellington. Firstly it’s a Fullers pub, preferable to me than the Shep Neame beers of the Duke, and has always had a good collection of well kept ales available, as it did during my most recent visit last week. Good to find all five handpumps in operation post covid lock down with four beers from the Fullers stable alongside a guest brew and I went for the Dark Star Hop Head and it was one of the finest pints of this beer I’ve tried since Fullers bought out Dark Star some while back. Secondly I find this one more comfortable than the Duke in that although it’s the same central serving Island layout where the two sides do get crowded with vertical drinkers during busy periods it has the advantage of the additional snug room to the side and an additional dining / function room upstairs, as well as the limited outside seating amongst the flower displays. The dark wood interior of this one is also not dominated by an enormous tele like the Duke making it more conducive to good conversation. Also the landlady and her team run a fairly tight ship and I’ve never had a problem getting served in here, even at the busy times. I’m usually in for a pint but have eaten on occasions and it is a fairly standard traditional pub food menu and we couldn’t fault our fish and chips and chicken dishes we went for on our most recent visit.

Good people watching too. Right before you get to sloan square. Very nice bar food, charming interior and seems quite a few " Sloan rangers"- or at least thats what they used to call the good looking and wealthy young women of the area.

This is the real thing, not some ersatz version of a proper pub, and you can’t beat that ambience. The menu is fairly simple (but well cooked) the London Pride slips down a treat.

We lost ourselves in the middle of London Belgravia....and we found this pub....wonderful beer....good company....we had some sandwiches and meat for lunch....everything was good. Enjoy this place

5-10 minute walk from Sloane Square, our group of 6 booked this lovely little pub having found a discount voucher on line. The food was delicious but the guy serving us was a little miserable!!

Quick service for a busy pub. Fullers range of beers reasonably priced. Unable to try the food as tables were either reserved or people already eating at. Definitely worth a return visit at an earlier time to try the food.

Having written two previous reviews I hadn’t intended to do a third..until I read some recent ones, and I have to say I don’t recognise the place that we eat at fairly frequently..Our veggie roast and sausage and mash were as generous and tasty as always. And despite the place being busy we did not have a long wait.

Came across the Antelope and decided to get out of the rain. Traditional little pub. Nice friendly staff and good Guinness. Thought it would be expensive being near Sloane Square but was pleasantly surprised. Recommend calling in if in the area.

We’ve come with a group that had booking for 13ppl and needed 5ppl more. The waiter decided to seat us at a table reserved for 1,15 hrs later, which seemed fine at the time. However we didn’t expect a 50 min wait for the food to arrive. Insignificant food, just to add - nothing wrong with it - but difficult to enjoy, especially under time pressure. When the people who had booked the table arrived, we still had lunch on our plates - yet the waiter (Milo, I believe his name was?) announced “I need this table NOW!” This was unsurprising, as he had been rude and out of his depth from the start, yet still a behaviour you don’t usually face in a central London pub. (Dear Fullers - you really don’t take orders and kick people out when they are still eating)

We visited this pub for my brother-in-law's birthday and were seated in the upstairs dining room. My sister and I ordered the falafel burgers as we are vegetarians. They were served on child sized plates and came with a few chips, no other salad or veg. The falafels appeared to be 3 hard discs of a tasteless substance that did not taste or look like falafels. We complained to the staff who brought us both replacements which were similar. How disappointing. Surely this day and age kitchen staff can recognise what a falafel is supposed to look and taste like. What a shame. We won't be going back. Note to the kitchen - they sell nice falafels in Sainsburys. Just saying.

After booking a table for a Sunday lunch we were declined our table and told the booking was not valid. Spoke to the manager who did not have the time of day to even apologise or explain why our table booking had been declined. No effort to accommodate for us at all - a complete waste of time.

We travelled across London to visit this pub for a Sunday Roast after making a booking on the telephone the night before. After hanging around at the bar for 15 minutes we were eventually seen to and told we do not have a booking. The staff member got his manager who said we were not on the list and can’t have booked. After showing proof of the phone call we were told ‘theres no table you need to leave’. Unbelievably disappointed after wasting our time travelling here and then struggling to find somewhere else to eat last minute. DO NOT VISIT THIS PUB, HORRIBLE VIBES AND RUDE MANAGEMENT

Genuine period facade with well tended floral hanging baskets. Metres away from the Kings Road in a peaceful upmarket residential area. The bar is welcoming with many nocks and crannies to drink a well earned pint. Comprehensively stocked bar from well cellared beers to British sparkling wines. The warm pork scratching are to die for.

We almost didn't try this place as there was a crowd standing outside. We went in and were directed upstairs to a surprisingly quiet dining room for being over a pub. This was way longer on charm and also had better menu and food than most pubs we have visited. It definitely caters to a more upscale clientele, and is located near the very nice Belgravia residential area.

Visited during pub crawl so didn't stay long but made to feel very welcome by the bar ladies. Good beer (cheapest of the 8 pubs we visited around Belgravia and Knightsbridge) , beautiful exterior, interesting interior.

Stopped off at the Antelope for a pint whilst in the area. Traditional type of pub, with a great selection of beers. We were here on a Saturday afternoon and it was very busy despite in being in a relatively quiet area. However, if you do come across the Antelope, I would encourage you to stop off as we did.

Small, pleasant pub near Sloane Square with better than average pub food and friendly service. Plenty of reasons to drop in for a meal or just a pint.

Fantastica scoperta di un posto accogliente, gestito da personale esperto, professionale e gentile che ci procura un tavolo nonostante sia Venerdì! Cucina ottima compreso il dolce che, per il mio personalissimo gusto, risulta il miglior tortino al cioccolato di sempre.

If you want a nice pint of London Ale and pub food look no further. 10 out of 10. We will return when visiting London again.

Stopped here for a quick drink after a day out and about. Classic English pub. No thumping music, no flashing lights or huge tv screens, just great ambiance and friendly staff. Decided to order a meal and had the pork and leek sausage with mashed potatoes, peas and onion gravy. Generous portions of good home style cooking that doesn’t leave you hungry or feeling ripped off. A meal, two bar orders of triple cooked chips, two round of drinks and two packets of crisps (chips) for under £35. Didn’t see any kids but a few dogs stopped by with their owners. Dog friendly pub with water bowls provided. Great place to relax and catch up with friends without the hustle, bustle and noise of trendy eateries. As with other venues around the area parking is a bit of a problem but it is only about 200m from Sloane Square, 4 minute walk at most.

Just wanted to update my previous review. After sampling the bangers and mash on offer in many West End pubs I declare The Antelopes version..creamy mash, minty mushy peas, good onion gravy and quality sausages, to be my personal favourite.

Un agradable y tradicional pub de Fuller en una calle tranquila a la vuelta de la esquina de Sloane Square y King´s Road (aunque parece un mundo alejado de todo ese ajetreo y bullicio). Personal amigable y eficiente y una buena variedad de bebidas (incluida una auténtica cerveza de barril decente) a precios de pub de Londres. Me and the wife had a lovely meal at this pub and the landlord couldn't have been more helpful. The prices are reasonable and the real ale was spot on. I have a nut allergy and they catered for this with ease.

So glad we found this off the path pub in Sloane Square. The whole family enjoyed their meals. The staff recommended the fish and chips, beef pie and the burger. We added a ceaser salad and enjoyed each dish. The fish and chips was fresh and crisp with a larger portion than typical. The bacon on the salad was a treat all on its own. We joked that this would be a place we would revisit next time we are in London. Traditional fare that has been updated. The dining room was classy and cozy. Felt like we were in a family dining room with wonderful service.

Visited this place because it was on my way to a tube station and fancied a drink. It’s a friendly pub that serves nice food. They allow children and dogs. And has a pleasant atmosphere. It has a nice selection of drinks and would happily go again.

Nice welcome and a good choice of real ales, beers and lagers.It is really old fashioned with dark wood and reflects old London pubs. Good choice of Fullers beers. The bar is not big but they do have a room upstairs.

We came here as a group of 8 adults and 2 children for lunch. Bar was short staffed so had to order at the bar which was perfectly fine. Bar staff were very friendly and helpful. Food was really tasty, I had the steak and mushroom pie which was really delicious. Others in my group had roasts and fish & chips which all went down well. Prices were reasonable and portions were plentiful, I would highly recommend and I will defo return if in the area.

The Antelope is a beautiful, traditional pub in Belgravia, with plenty of character and a history that apparently dates back to the 17th century.

I come in here most lunch time the bar staff are friendly and the food is good , the landlady is very nice and are very accommodating if you need anything.

Their mackerel starter was very good but not the gammn, chips and duck egg. The latter had been cooked for too long, especially the chips. Not very good value.

tucked away near Sloane Square this is a small traditional pub serving really nice real ales in a cosy ambient. friendly young staff and not outrageously priced for posh central London. only had a snack but the chips were nice and fresh, and the vegetarian linguine big and tasty.

Just visited The Antelope . Really nice pub downstairs. Went upstairs to eat after one drink downstairs. A quiet Tuesday evening , we were the only people upstairs, but soon found out we were sharing the space with a mouse or two , popping up through holes in the floor boards a la Fawlty Towers. Food was ok but a bit cheeky that they then asked us to pay for the drink we had had downstairs, which they had forgotten to add to the bill ...

Went for a lunch with friends. Two adults and two children. They didn't have kids menu nor did half portion which was ok. A young female staff was rude, not welcoming and made me feel uncomfortable when ordering food. Will not go back again.

Went for a Christmas meal with friends. As there were ten of us we were able to have the snug to ourselves. Food and service were very good and there was a very nice atmosphere. Will definitely book again next year

Good beer. Friendly service. Nice ambiance. The menu was the most impressive as it wasn't your normal pub fare and offered a fancier take.

Memorably, hilariously bad. Christmas dinner. Meal reservation lost. Most of the menu not available. My starters were pork scratchings and a bit of the last pork pie left. My pal ate all the picallili as he was starving. Main course (this was a christmas dinner) was a salad. Kirchen had closed before the pudding course. Waiter gave up. No support from management. If there was any.

Lovely flower display outside and inside lovely old bar with separate rooms and well kept beers. It’s a comfortable space and one of the surviving locals that catered for the servants, stablemen and other domestics that worked in the now multi million pound houses that surround it.

Traditional bar very close to Sloane Square. Nice atmosphere and good food. I have been here twice over the past year and it’s a good spot. Recommended.

Loved this place just off of Sloane Sq. A traditional English pub with no great frills; exactly my scene. Can’t comment on food but my observation of those who did order looked appealing. Great to see a few Royal Hospital Chelsea old soldiers in there having a pint and a smoke outside. If you like unpretentious, old school and just a decent pint you can’t go possibly wrong.

This a great pub of the beaten track with a good choice of beers and wines .The service here is always good . I have eaten here a couple of time and the food has been good . When I have been leaving the staff have unless its been really busy good night and see you again

It was nearly a one-star review but the fact the fish and chips we had was okay is what stopped me from applying the lowest rating. What made this so bad was the service. There was one server for the entire upstairs which was full and the poor guy was absolutely rushed of his feet. I felt very sorry for him so despite the awful service, I still tipped him when the bill came. It wasn't his fault after all. I don't know if this is how this pub operates or if they just had staff shortages last night but as a customer I don't care and I most certainly won't be going back.

eh, not so much. As part of the Fuller's UK Nationwide Pub chain it has its respectable choices of draft and cask ales. It's a very short walk from Sloane Square in Chelsea. Also, as they serve food they allowed my 12 year old daughter to come in.

Ive been drinking in here a few times & really enjoy the atmosphere but this is the second time I've eaten in here & on both occasions the food was quite poor. The most recent lunch I had ordered the Fish of the Day, which was supposed to be plaice. What I was served was definitely not plaice, but a thicker chunkier fish that was quite mushy & had obviously been taken from the freezer. The pub is quite lovely but just let down by the food.

We walked to this pub from Victoria Coach Station, and although it took around 10 minutes to walk here in the boiling hot sun, it was definitely worth it. There were a great selection of both alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks with a cold water station as well. It had a traditional, rustic pub feel to it with a lovely atmosphere. It was also not packed due to being away from the main Victoria area. We are never let down by Fullers pubs and this one is no exception.

Recently visited the pub twice and found a nice friendly atmosphere. The pub food is good also with a nice upstairs dining room. For a pint or some decent food in a traditional pub setting, head over to the Antelope.

Hay un montón de cosas buenas que decir sobre los antílopes. Tiene un agradable restaurante Olde Worlde que da a la calle. Nos recibieron con un servicio agradable. Sin embargo, pudimos metido en nuestras comidas hija un pelo. Ella dijo nada. Puede haber sido un filamento vegetal, quizás una de ella cayó. Luego llegó al otro lado de otro y dijo: "Papá, ¿qué es esto? ". El Padre reconoció un pelo cuando vio a uno. Final de su cena. Para ser justos el servidor tomó el costo de la comida de la factura, pero es bastante básico, y es que nunca debería llegar a ese punto. Sin embargo, la comida es sabrosa, si no ha sido preparado higiénicamente es un serio problema. No volveré.

I went to this pub for a school reunion and we had a 2 course lunch and wine for £35. All the food was ordered in advance and I opted for the fish which turned out to be fish and chips for some and plaice for others, I don’t mind fish and chips occasionally so I didn’t make a fuss. A genuine unspoilt Public House. Peaceful, no music, thank goodness, Just the quiet murmur of conversation. Good selection of beers and excellent food

Nice snug traditional pub set in a decent area of Sloane square, great range of fullers beers available & some good choices of pub grub. They even had some gluten free bits available for my wife who's coeliac & the food is a bargain considering where you are!! Highly recommend a visit to this pub anytime

Visited for a pre-show meal. The Website showed a tapas-style option with choices and prices per person. On arrival (not booked) we sat upstairs. It was 6:20 on a Saturday. Got a table - just. The one waiter was run off his feet. Far more clients than he could handle. It was nearly 20 minutes before we even got a menu (he came to take our order before he realised we hadn’t been given the menu)! Menu bore no resemblance to the Website. As time was short we chose a sharing platter with a variety of sides. Ok - moan over & on to positives. Food arrived promptly especially considering the number of clients. And it was delicious. Really well cooked and presented. The onion rings & sweet chilli dip deserves a special mention. The bill arrived (not too bad price wise for London), and the poor old waiter even asked us to check it for accuracy. To summarise, great kitchen but front of house needs work.
