ordered 2 cod and chips COD TASTED LIKE AMMONIA contacted the shop they didnt want to know DONT BUY FROM THIS FISH SHOP

They do vegan 'cod' ..and the texture and nori that is used inside makes it pretty darn good! Try it! Really awesome option! And lovely batter!

Order placed at 5.35 and didn’t arrive until 6.30. Rang me at 6.05, and said that they didn’t have the grilled fish I had ordered and hadn’t had it on their menu for 6 months. Why say that? I could only order food that is on your menu online, so if you don’t have it on your menu anymore, update your online menus! Spoke over me on the phone! Said I would still get my order within their advertised delivery timeline of 30 minutes but it was an hour! Rang at 6.20 to be told driver had left 5 minutes before but didn’t arrive for another 10 minutes and I only live round the corner. Rang Again at 6.25 and the call went to voicemail. Food was mediocre at best! Won’t be using again!

We have used the Two Happy Chefs a few times before, but tonight was a real shame. Online order confirmed through their own website at 18.20 - called them at 19.24 and they said it had only just appeared at their end (after a lot of looking). Food arrived at 19.50 - delivery driver was apologetic, but after he left we looked in the bag to find one persons food was missing. Called to chase this up to be told that the person on the phone had packed the box themselves so it couldn’t be missing! I asked if they were calling me a liar and they were quick to say no, but it was a real shame. No apology on either occasion on the phone. Waited another 20 mins for the missing food to arrive - by which time the rest of the family had eaten. Given a 500ml bottle of fizzy drink to say sorry. Such a shame. Think we’ll have to somewhere else now.

We went there at lunch time and get their lunch time deal which was small cod with chips. It has been served with mushy peas and tartare sauce by a kind, friendly lady. For a lunch time deal it was a generous portion and we left the place with a smiley face. Definitely we will go back there.

I have been visiting weekly for Las 6 weeks. Always a great skinless cod cooked fresh. Ample portion of well cooked chips served in recyclable cardboard.

Freshly cooked cod and chips of good quality. Friendy service and reasonable prices. Only comment is I prefer skinless fish this was including skin.
