Pints served with quite a head on them, probably missing half a pint at this point after having 3, food is what it is for a greene king, decent burger however was asked with no mayo and no salad and came with mayo

Shay was very accommodating and warm In her welcome. Staff very smiley and seemed happy to serve. The food was very well presented and tasted!!

Baby Shower 2nd February 2025 My daughter booked for a baby shower as we live local & come here sometimes The room was light & spacious very clean welcoming too The event lady had set up a floral display and was gone so thanks Peter for letting her set up early. We had the Buffett and the quality of the food was very good the hot food was served fresh hot & very delicious The cold food was fresh & the sandwiches as well , tea & coffee was plentiful Bar staff were friendly and on the day Deepak was in charge Would definitely recommend booking here For any function lovely atmosphere too On site parking Great pub Thanks Peter , Deepak & Staff

Empty pub, empty beer garden, just me and my dog. Rudest landlord in the world tells me to put the dog on a lead or leave!!!!!! There’s a way to ask and it’s the middle of January with literally no one in the pub. Will NEVER go back

We booked a room in The Jolly Fenman for a wake following a funeral at nearby Falconwood Crematorium. The manager, Peter, and his team were wonderfully attentive. They had the food ready to come out as soon as we asked for it, and kept the tea and coffee flowing the whole time we were there. Thanks so much, guys, it was really appreciated.

A real gem of a pub pleasently decorated and looked freshly done. nice staff decent menu. Great value.. there is a deal on at posting jan 2025 where they are doing a buy one get one free on severyl meals and drinks and a regular 2 meals for £14.. Provided you are flexible there can be a real deal to be had. I really enjoyed the steak and ale pie I had last time.. but this time, unfortunately, the steak was overcooked .. I'm sure if I had sent it back, it would not have been any problem.. I had a time constraint, so I just gobbled it up 😄 (med rare served well done) I loved the music choice, very eclectic. Had me and a friend taking notice. Good parking, car charging and access.. Pool table too. Been back 3 times recently.

Came in New Year’s Eve and it was absolutely dead but the service was outstanding. Deepak was amazing so nice.

Have now been to eat here on two separate occasions on both times the order comes out completely wrong. First occasion asked for steak and chips got steak and salad. Second occasion asked for well done steak and fries instead of chips. Got chips and rare done steak. Plus an extra bowl of chips we never ordered. Had to send steak back twice before it being well done. Other things was we ordered sizzling skillets. There was nothing sizzling about what we received the onions looked like a gooey starchy mess, the peas were over cooked and my partner received a cold half serving of peppercorn sauce for his steak. The second time my steak comes out after being sent back the cooker rung the bell 4 times and come outside 3 times to see if anyone was coming to collect the food. On the third time the manager brought my food back out to me and me and partner joked third time lucky and the manager could not seem less interested in the situation and muttered sorry about that as he walked away. Decent pub. Xmas lunch was tasty and plentiful. Service was very good.

Christmas dinner at The Jolly Fenman was perfect for our family of 12. All ages young and old enjoyed a lovely meal the only thing we sent back were empty plates. The wait staff were very helpful, nothing was too much trouble and the atmosphere was welcoming, warm and friendly. Such a relaxing day for us. Hopefully we will do again but this time must make a note of what we ordered two weeks prior to the date.🤣🤣

I had an amazing time with my family & the food was delicious!! Grace looked after us and she was superb in making sure everything was okay. We will definitely be coming back again x

I booked Breakfast with Santa for 16 children, the whole process I found so easy with all the staff so wanting help and make things a special event. Adults had breakfast or meals off the menu with drinks, Santa read a story and talked to the children and then at the end gave them a lovely present all age relevant for the children. Thank you so much we all had a lovely morning with you xx

Booked our Christmas Girl's night out. We had a lovely evening, the food was good as was the service. A big thank you to Shaye, and the chefs Ellis and Dyneswari. We all had meals from the Christmas menu, which had a good choice, including veggie option. Can highly recommend a visit, will definitely be going back.

Went on with my step children the youngest felt ill the staff were amazing especially shay and bev helped with every request I had, can't thank them enough for making the visit a lot easier for both myself and the kids, food was delicious and adjustments for diet was no issue, will be returning again

I really don’t know how a pub can serve food and be open when the gents toilets are leaking so bad you need welly boots and wipe your feet on the way out, the toilets have been leaking for months.

Unplanned lunch out with husband, mum & dad to celebrate my 65 birthday . Welcoming staff , although menu was uninspiring with vegetarian meals. Mum did have the tasty halloumi flatbread I did miss my favourite chicken Caesar salad 🥗 though .

Anna was very pleasant and helpful as is all the staff. We just had drinks and some ice cream.

Service was brilliant. Made hot chocolates for our young boys adding cream and Mars bars. Felt like it was no trouble. Food was good and a BOGOF on burgers on Thursday. Definitely recommend.

Come for the burger night buy one get one free on burgers on a Thursday excellent burgers best I've had in a long while very tasty and excellent value. Had a great evening with my 2 brothers. Spur of the moment decision to have lunch in a local pub. To be honest, we've driven past many times and never thought to pay a visit but friends kept telling me what a nice place it is. We were greeted by welcoming staff member (Beverley). We received a very courteous service at the bar from the new manager Peter too. The food was tasty and hot and we didn't have to wait very long. It was lovely clean too and had a multitude of larger options. 100% will make this a regular place to visit and will tell my friends.

I recently visited Jolly Fenman, a pub that's quite unique in many ways. Visited today for a family birthday lunch. A very warm welcome from the staff. Very helpful with allergen advice. All of the food arrived quickly and at the same time even though there were 9 of us. All of the food was very good and good portion sizes

As retired couples it can be difficult to find somewhere to meet up for lunch that is comfortable but also patient with us as older customers. The Jolly Fenman service is fantastic making us feel valued as customers. The food is wonderful. The ambience even for lunchtime is great and the price point perfect. We will make this a regular lunch spot.

Me and the missus decided to visit to eat and watch the euros. The food was high quality, tasty and quick to the table. The staff we had the delight to talk with (Anna and Shay) were very helpful, easy to talk with and quick with orders. 10/10 will be back again.

Great pub, great garden, great staff. Met the new general manager tonight and he was really welcoming. Slight mess up with the order but quickly fixed. Will be back.

My Grandson and I went here for dinner, the food was lovely, service was exceptional. Glad to know it is dog friendly. We will definitely be back soon.
