The Salad Project in Tower Hamlets

I will admit to being skeptical about this place, as I’d generally avoid salad on any menu, however I was pleasantly surprised by the quality and taste of the salad and it felt like a substantial lunch. That said, the pricing is frankly obscene at around £12 - this is easily double the cost of other (already expensive) lunch options and it’s a shame that healthy food is priced with a “hipster premium” now. Sadly I won’t be returning or recommending simply because I don’t believe it offers value for money

Unbelievably overpriced! Make this more accessible for all budgets. Offer a smaller portion, particularly for those who don’t want protein.

One of the best salad places in London in terms of diversity of options and ingredients. Very large portion size (can count for lunch and dinner) but slightly on the pricier end. Quick and easy to go!

Love this place normally - BUT - suddenly reduced the bowl sizes, which is OK as the portions are big. BUT BUT, Took a client there for lunch - both of us had tummy problem straight afterwards … Speed and money has taken over from quality and hygiene. Saw a guy wiping across trays, with a cloth, with ingredients falling into trays. Shame

I ordered Salad Project online, through Deliveroo. I have ordered it several times before. I can only say it's excellent, very fresh, tasty and healthy food. I have never been to the place in person, only ordered online. The food is very very good. I have recommended it to friends and they love it too.

Staff are always outside loitering, playing balls games or smoking. When approached they had rotten attitudes and were unprofessional.

I enjoyed my £10 salad but the photos are misleading. I had to ask for the salad not to be mixed together. The chicken is shredded into small pieces, the "roasted" sweet pots are not wedges as implied in the photos but soggy and diced. I think if the items were really like in the photos then it would be worth the price but as it stands it is not. The cauliflower should be charred and a bit crunchy, it's soggy and not charred at all. A bit disappointing I have to say. If you are going to charge premium prices then everything should be premium. The caulipower I had should be £7.50 not £10 in my opinion.

Got the thai me up bowl and the market bowl. I was blown away with the size and taste of the salad bowls, really interesting flavour combinations especially with the market bowl, all staff were very friendly and efficient. A refreshing change from a lot of the heavier street food available nearby

Delicious salads but not worth the price. Over staffed too many staff just standing around just staring. Needs better management who acknowledges customers.

Great experience. Lovely choice of ultra fresh produce. Nice range of salads, prepared right in front of you. Good portion sizes and very eco-conscious using one-time cutlery & bowls. One suggestion - the Tahini Dressing NEEDS to be available to buy! 😋
