A great meal, Roxi was very helpful and very friendly! Even though the restaurant was busy she made sure we were served quickly.

Have driven past a lot but only went in for the first time today and it definitely won’t be the last. Restaurant was really busy but everything about the whole experience was great. Mandy, our waitress, was very attentive, friendly and made us feel very comfortable. The food was delicious and hot (except the salad obviously) and good value. Wish I’d visited before and will be back soon.

The food was great but the real shining star was Gary our server. They were polite and bubbly without being overbearing. It was so nice to see them going around to not just our table but everyone in our vicinity asking how the food/service was. Every time we're here we always comment on their impeccable service.

Lovely restaurant decorated beautifully for Christmas too! It was quiet when we went (Monday lunch), so we managed to get a table without a booking but I can imagine it to be busy at peak hours. Large car park available. Staff Jenelle and Mandy were very friendly and helpful. I would definitely recommend this Harvester branch.

Went for a meal for 4 people I wouldn’t say the food was great on my behalf as I had the cod and chips the fish was tasteless and the batter just had a weird taste to it, and for the the refillable drinks that we ordered was okay but didn’t like how our waiter Oscar said I can do them but don’t know when we are going to get them for our second refill, I didn’t like how he came out and said it I know how hard it is as I work at another restaurant for Mitchell’s and Butlers during this time on how busy it is also the brownie and ice cream that we had ordered was really dense and couldn’t really eat it. All in all the place was set out okay.

Visited here with the kids this week. Defiantly COVID friendly! I felt me & the kids were safe and we had a lovely meal. Lovely service from Mel as well 🙂 Thank you for a lovely meal guys!

The greeting on arrival was fine. The assist managers explanation of the new rules (covid)was good. Then it went down immediately. We were dished out 6 menus. Mine was FILTHY. marked drink marks and food debris. (Covid system states 1, menus should be paper and then scrapped once used) (2 if using menus then they should be fully wipped down) neither was in practice. The staffing levels were not good enough. The cleaning of tables after customers leaving was not acceptable. I watched 2 tables turned over 4 times. Only 1 set of chairs wipped BASIC. My partners stated the ladies were a disgrace (2pm) she also wondered why 2 toddlers were allowed to run amock in them?. Drinks arrived and handed out to us by the waitress. Wrong procedure! Up your GAME. NOT COMING BACK. POOR SHOW.

Had an amazing meal here with my son and boyfriend today! Zoe our server was excellent and defiantly deserves props, a very busy service yet she smashed it and delivered brilliant customer service despite the stress. Oscar was also great at the end with our bill, every polite, bubbly with amazing banter. I want to give another shoutout to the girl on the salad bar, well done for keeping a smile on and handling everything so well despite how busy you were. Amazing team here with amazing food! Couldn’t ask for better, especially during COVID-19 regulation. Thank you guys!

Ate here yesterday, quite possibly the worst “restaurant” I’ve eaten in a good few years.Chicken combo rubbish took about an hour to come out, and was dog awful, presume the microwave was busy. Didn’t bother bringing us any cutlery so we ate the 3 shards of cabbage and carrot with watery mayo on (think it was supposed to be coleslaw) with our hands.Overall I wish I had eaten the £10 note i paid with than the food I got for it.

Popped in for coffee and glad that we did not order food. Hand sanitiser was so runny that it spirted everywhere. Soap dispenser in ladies toilet was broken and toilet would not flush.

Visited with family for sunday dinner and the food was great.The assistant manager greeted us warmly and explained the new rules. Wait staff were superb especially mandy.They have enforced social distancing really well and felt safe at all times.Seems new management and chefs have made a huge difference. Thanks for a lovley meal.

Today Wednesday we had an early dinner at The Cricketers ,Addington Village this is our first meal since it was refurbed last year our reason was we was going out to a show in London so it was easier to have a meal out then carry on to the station to see the show , we all had food from early bargain menu from 11.30am until 5.00pm 2 people had the 12pieces of Whitby Scampi + chips and mushy peas and 1 had the 7oz Gammon Steak 2 people had puddings and 1 had hot drink instead of a pudding this bargain menu was £8.99p each well worth the money highly recommend

For the prices they charge the food really is not that great... its average at best.My sister couldnt even finish her wrap as it was bland and over sauced. Ive been to this brabch before and it was better but after this recent visit I wont return.Plus it was really cold in there.

You get what you pay for....Called in as passing on a Tuesday evening. Warm welcome and shown to table quickly, but it went downhill from thereStandard Harvester menu but salad bar was sparse and we later found out that opening hours had been cut back so clearly they were holding back on topping things up.Can’t complain at all over the prices, we both had the set meal (2 courses £12.99, 3 for £14.99) but the food is pretty standard and nothing to write home about.Took an age to get and pay our bill as the staff (the few that were there) were focussed on clearing up so they could get away quickly.

The Cricketers Harvester hasbeen agood location and economic place to meet friends. However this was or last visit. Friendly service when we arrived disappeared. The food was good for the price you pay. The service became non existant. A real irritation waiting 20 min s poor more to be asked for our dessert order with the waitress just oblivious to us. When the desert orders came the tea was tepid! Can't even serve a decent cup of tea? We have up trying to get the attention of the waitresses for the bill and just pity our coats on, all l5 of us, still no attention sip we went to leave, paying at the bar on the way out. Will not be back. Potty as ours avery convient location.

I love this place!! My total go to! I recently came here for my daughters 13th birthday and we were not disappointed! The service was phenomenal! They catered to our every need! For a harvester, I would never expect such service. But that went above and beyond!! My servers were Gary and Paul!! They were fantastic! I would defo recommend this particular harvester as the others don’t come close when it comes to this one and customer service! 4 generations meal out with a few of the family. Can’t believe how brilliant two staff members were in particular, Louise and Mel. They made our time out a real treat as made a breakthrough with my grandson who has very special needs and who quickly responded to them positively, which is unusual for him. This helped us all relax and enjoy our meals. Huge, huge thanks to them. Louise you were truly amazing with him! Great staff team and the food was very tasty too!

found two hairs in two separate pieces of our food. both were gray and no one who is in our family has grey hair. would not recommend at all. chips are dry and not good in the slightest

I have been to quite a few harvesters and have never really enjoyed them. But I was really pleasantly surprised. Gary our server was great and the food was delicious. Gary was clearly busy but was very attentive and polite.

I would like to say my bar server sacha was polite and happy and gave us a friendly welcome and good bye we will return.

Met with some friends for lunch.Went to the bar first and was served by a young man with friendly courteous manners. Not sure of his name but he has swept back hair.Once in the restaurant our waitress was called Louise. She was friendly, informative and took our order with efficiency.Food was served hot and very pleasant.Nice atmosphere and was easy to chat amongst ourselves.Will be back for sure

Our local Harvester is appalling, so we transferred our business to the Cricketers in June 2019.

Nice venue to come.for some.lovely food at the weekend. I was taken care of by Sacha, who got me a seat very quickly and looked after my.order.

I had an evening meal with my mum and my 2 sons. We were greeted and served by a fantastic friendly member of staff called James who deserves praise for his Brilliant service. All of our meals were served nice and quickly and the food was absolutely delicious. The triple chicken combo is amazing. We left feeling very satisfied and full and will definitely be returning.

On the positive side : Good food .

A group of five early retired reprobates affectionately known as ‘The Sausage Club’ (make up your own jokes...!) attend weekly to partake of the delights of a Full English.... after trialling several other local establishments, we have returned to this one as nobody does it better. One of us is disabled with mobility issues and some aren’t even sure what day it is...... but we are always welcomed on Wednesday, Thursday or Fridays at The Cricketers by Jenny, looked after and indulged, she epitomises what customer service ought to be everywhere. Jenny is friendly, efficient and polite, even remembers my insane dietary requests.... Thank You Jenny!!

Very welcoming, our waitress Louise made us all welcome (Four adults and Two young Children). Our meals all arrived and our grandson was very pleased that louise had remembered his name. We all had a great time and will reccommend The Cricketers to our Friends.

We found this pub by accident during a journey and was immediately impressed with the exterior - has a lovely pub garden decorated with lights etc.

We enjoyed the venue and admired the location. James was our very attentive waiter who gave us great service, responded kindly and efficiently to our requests and he gave his personal recommendations from the menu which helped us decide what to order. He was swift to clear up the table as and when needed and asked us regularly if we were satisfied and/or needed his help with anything.

What can I say! Shabby service. Terrible food. The salad, not what I would call it, was filled with limp lettuce, dried out cucumber and you ripe tomatoes. I had the signature half chicken. Signature? If that is your signature may I suggest you sign off. Dry and tasteless. It took a member of my party to go get a waitress for our orders to be taken and then again for the table to be cleared. Don’t get me wrong the waitresses do their best but there are not enough of them and it wasn’t even busy. The decor is lovely and we came back after a previous bad experience to see if time had improved it. It hadn’t. I struggle to see how you are busy if this is the norm. I certainly will not come back again unless there are more staff and better quality control in the kitchen

There is very friendly staff in this restaurant. Even though, we have not spent a lot on a meal, this has not stopped staff from being friendly and serve us at the highest level.

We had such a great time making memories last night and can’t recommend harvester enough for the lovely service. We booked a meal to celebrate the life of a family member who sadly was diagnosed with terminal cancer quite recently. Kayley (sorry if we have spelt your name wrong) was outstanding, she went above and beyond for us last night and looked after our very large family, took loads of memorable photos and was patient with us when ordering food and being indecisive. They even stayed open and let us order dessert making us feel so very welcome, never once rushing us to finish even when we had stayed past closing. They as a whole surprised us when it came down to settling our bill with a discretionary amount off our bill when they heard as to why we had visited yesterday evening. They made our night and we can’t thank them enough for how accommodating they were to my family. Thank you for being so kind. We had such a great time.

Came to have breakfast here on a Saturday morning & it was meant to open at 9am and we was outside waiting until 9:15am with a few other customers to start on a bad note.

Our table should have been for 15 people, but 3 of the family had to sit on another small table separate, which was really disappointing as there was room for a small table at the end of the main one. The food was OK, the waitress was really nice. This experience really spoilt the evening. We have never had this happen times gone past, we have all been placed together.

I came in for Lunch with the family, the food was nice but the man behind the bar was rude and had a very unhappy face!!

We booked a table on line which was very easy to do for Easter Saturday. Arrived at the venue, discovered there was no need to book as it was very quiet in there. A gentleman waiter took the drinks and food order, he was very cheerful, happy, smiley and helpful in suggesting something different to eat. The order arrived within good time, the food was very tasty, the thrice cooked chips were amazing.

Last time I visited The Cricketers I didn't think it was anything special, however, what transformation. The staff were attentive and help full, I had a steak which was cooked to perfection, the chips were nice a crispy as were the onion rings, this was followed by a rocky horror pudding which I shared with my wife who had a gammon steak which was cooked well and came with fresh pineapple on it not tinned. All in all a nice experience will definitely visit again

Cold food, small portions and staff that do not care.

We have eaten at the Cricketers on many occasions and this year finding ourselves on our thought we would also have our Christmas Dinner there.

We decided to pop in for a drink and a little something to eat after shopping locally.

6 of as went for xmas dinner. in the refurbished pub, we were pleased with the food and service from GARY and LOUISE, was excellent felt very comfortable and came away happy....well be back mo Haggerty

Shame our visit tonight wasn't as good as November after the refurb. Food was dry and staff wasn't very attentive. Told waitress and only had child's dinner taken off the bill, 4 adults and 1 child ate, 3 adult mains where dry and child's very dry and not edible. Won't be going back. Should of gone to the beefeater coombe lodge who was offering 40% off. Whenever we have visited the food has been great, and so the staff.

Very disappointing, even for a Harvester. Had booked a table 2 weeks in advance for 10 people. On arrival had to wait for a member of staff to speak to us, even though the restaurant was not even half full and several staff walked past. Eventually managed to catch one of them. When taken to our table, it hadn't been set up at all and the waitress was having to move tables whilst we waited. What was the point in making a booking for 10? Perhaps so they knew to expect us! When our drinks order was taken we were told they had run out of wine glasses and could they serve white wine spritzers in a champagne flutes? A small white wine wouldn't fit in a champagne flute let alone a spritzer. The salad bar was ok. They had also run out of a number of things on the menu and then ran out of Rioja after only 2 glasses (in brandy goblets) - it was a Friday night. They had no mint tea, but served pointless sprigs of mint with every dessert. The final straw was that several of our party of 10 have just found out they have been issued with parking tickets. Apparently we should have been asked for our car details on arrival - we were not. I don't know why some advice that a parking fine had been applied was not on our windscreens when we returned to our cars. Then this could have been sorted out at the time, instead of getting an unpleasant surprise in the post 10 days later demanding £85. The manager was helpful when I first contacted about this matter, but had to leave 3 phone messages when I tried to call her back in the evening - phone rang out every time. Hopefully these are now in the process of being cancelled by the restaurant manager. I was told there are signs in the car park. It was dark and the car park is very poorly lit - most of us had difficulty finding the restaurant entrance and we were not the only ones in there who had this problem. Overall vote by our party not to go back there for our next gathering.

Been to this harvester quite a few times , now it has been all refurbished it is so much better & the food seems to be better aswell. Very fresh , new meals in the menu & always good value.

We booked a table but don't know why we bothered as the manager made us queue with everyone else who hadn't booked. The manager was an arrogant, argumentative individual. When we were eventually shown to a table, in a filthy area strewn with leftover food and debris covering the floors, we were then completely forgotten. I summoned a waitress to order drinks but she and two other waiting staff then proceeded to argue whose responsibility it was to serve us.

it really means all you can be bothered to wait for - if you want an extra sausage you wait for it to be cooked. If you go back for more bacon you wait for it to be cooked .....etc

Had a very long wait for food which eventually turned up cold so had clearly been waiting in the kitchen.

Came In for lunch the other day, and loved the food. the staff was very helpful and chatty.. My and my lil girl loved the sweet shop ice-cream

The food was very nice..and the service was great..Also loved the salad bar which we could help ourselves to..definitely go back again and I recommend the cherry pie..delicious!!

This review is when we went twice before steak service was second to non but when we went yesterday I was so looking forward to the delicious steak this time it was so chewy and so much grizzle I asked for what I normally have medium rare I'm so sorry I had to send it back to make it well done disappointed I knew then it was the steak the waitress we had well let's just say I won't go into that it's such a shame as when we went previously it was fantastic I am marking this on our recent visit.

I had fish and chips, the fish was swimming in grease I've never had such greasy fish anywhere before. The chips were also greasy. The "free " salad was fairly good but added into the cost of the main made it more expensive.

Took our granddaughters there for a lunch and were very pleasantly surprised. The service was very friendly and efficient. Food average to good. but great value and very family friendly place.

Have eaten here before but I have to say what a lovely steak I had as well as my daughter. Service was fast, waitress friendly. Looking forward to the next one.

Went with my husband for a bite to eat. Just finished, realised that just outside the window where we sat , were the bins - and a huge amount of flies against the window! Directly under the window outside was a big trail of what looked like blood and just gunk and bones and it was just disgusting ! It was all pouring out of the bin which was split!

Went here for dinner and the service and food were great. Our waitress, Mel, was very attentive and very helpful! Highly recommended

First visit since the revamp and well what can I say?! The place looks good! However the food seems to have suffered as a result! We ordered some breaded mushrooms and they tasted and looked like they had just been pulled out the freezer, definitely not worth the money(please bring back the old ones) The ones they served before were far superior. My chips were lukewarm but edible! Though the burger was good! If we didn’t save a third off the bill, would’ve felt a bit cheated as the breaded mushrooms definitely wasn’t worth the £9 and something pence! Even though the food wasn’t quite up to scratch the staff was polite and offered good service. So pretty much a mix bag.

A regular visitor there. Went for a meal. Had the chicken rib combo.was nice apart from the ribs not a nice taste. The place had been revamped looked better.Salad bar quite messy could have been abit tidy.
