the best wings and fries! I recommend it, I haven't eaten such good ones for a long time. Certainly the best around.

We are regular and known customers in this store. Just had some food ordered today, turns out, the chips were half cooked and still hard. Looks like we’re going to order chips from elsewhere. The previous management did better.

If you have serious munchies and want takeaway chicken or fish and chips this is the place for fast food in Coulsdon I can recommend the potato wedges, whatever the seasoning is on the breadcrumb coating is the business 👍

What happened to that take out? Disgusting, it literally gave me food poisoning.

Not the best, fish was very oily. Chicken was dry and likely refried stuff from earlier. I'd swerve this ropey ol' plaice. Plenty of fish and chip shops in area..

I live in Coulsdon for over 10 years and I have used this place for first time I get that family meal which is the box of mixed chicken and chips !!! And when I get home I find out all chicken it was really OLD from day before at least it was absolutely horrible 🤮

The place is clean, has great, friendly staff and you can buy from a large selection of menu items.The service is fast and the food is of good quality. They are also open quite late. Free parking can be found outside in one of the bays or you can use Aldi's car park. I would recommend this place.

Tasty food and nice staff good sarvice

Fast service and freshly prepared fish and chips, also had a burger in our order. The batter is tasty, light and not fatty or greasy at all. Thoroughly recommend it, good value too. Have been back several times.

Ordered 4 chicken burgers and 4 potato wedges, collected and took home. Initially the order came out poorly the potatoes were underdone and hard in the middle. However I could see the food had been prepared fresh and I’d been told the oil was recently changed in the fryer. So I assume it hadn’t gotten hot enough yet. We called and explained the issue, and they were happy to fix the problem. They brought round 4 new meals which were delicious.

Not impressed with new Management. Felt a bit cheated, confirmed total bill over the phone, on collection demanded £6 more. 2 fish and chips nearly £23 for collection. Further, one fish was burnt and chips were too oily and undercooked. I do not recommend this place.

I been to this fish shop and I really like a taste and quality of the food. fish&chips is my fav meal, also you can get great service by the staff, prices are affordable and specially a lot of deals with a meal. Great hunger stop!!

New owners. Chips tasted double fried and greasy. General customer welcome and service is a massive downgrade compared to the family that ran this place before. Shame to see this place go down. The owner should be in the shop and see how it's being run!

Only fish and chip shop I would use, the portion size and quality is excellent, the staff are always very friendly they go out of their way to help/cook you the best quality of fresh food, if you have a fussy child/taste they will accommodate you. Once you try, you will guarantee to return

Great fish and chip shop local in Coulsdon. Big portions. Reasonably priced Very friendly staff. It's halal as well so have ordered the sausages and chicken as well They give large portions and although the order took 5-10 minutes longer than they said it was worth it as everything was cooked fresh and hot. It's our go to for fish and chips. The only downside is your have to pay in cash, and although there is a cash machine opposite, in Jan 2021 whilst covid is around they should consider getting a way to pay contactless.

Ordered a delivery told it would take 30 mins gave it 45 mins before we phoned to see what was happening told 20 minutes,an hour later still waiting, 1st time using them wont be going back that's for sure

The staff are very abrupt., orderd my 4 wings and chips and the guy behind the till continued to speak on the phone for 15 minutes 😬 Mean while the chef at the back was coughing so loud it sounded disgusting No face covering just coughing everywhere..... Disgusting

I’m so glad that the old owners are back. You can seek pure experience, kindness and most importantly it’s delicious ! Prices are very reasonable compared to their portions as portions are very big . Just wonderful after the g(old) ownership :)

The best fish and chips I have tasted in ages. I have been here for the first time two weeks ago and I have become obsessed now I come here twice a week. The service is so quick you barely need to wait.Chips are crispy on the outside and soft in the inside and the fish is just AMAZING. Definitely would recommend !!

Visited this place first time this evening. They tried to charge me 4 times what any other fish and chip takeways charges so I walked out. Hygiene was also questionable, avoid especially in the current climate..

Literally deserves a minus 5! Disgusting is an understatement! Avoid the chicken if you don't want to get sick!! Should have an E.H.O visit as its a total disgrace!

Went in at 13:30 on a Saturday afternoon. Probably the worst meal I have ever had from a fish and chip shop. The place was deserted when I went in, this should have been a warning. The chips were hot but soggy as was the battered sausage. Clearly both had been sitting around far too long.

Can be very hit and miss when it comes to the quality of their chips. Some days they will be truly the best around. Then there are days like today. I ended up chucking them in the bin, they were soggy and tasted like they were a day old.

Go to a proper fish and chip shop if you want fish

Tasty and cheap, get the £4.99 deal for cod, chips and a drink (used to include mushy peas). Staff are awesome and always let me try a slice of kebab if they're not too busy. My brother loved the haddock. Mainly not greasy and a good sign of good fish.

Credit where credit is due. A colleague suggested this place and i got to say they are very good! Hot, fresh and taste great! Whatever you're doing don't change! Will be back again..

Disgusting. Called in for food at 5.30pm - nothing cooked apart from the saveloys. They were cooked - about 2 weeks ago. Nice man cooked some chips for us and the grey saveloys went straight in the bin.

This is by far the best fish and chips in the area. I'm not a chip shop chip kinda gal as I usually find them soggy.... Not here though! Their chips are fresh and crispy. Their fish is usually cooked to order and is divine. Oh and their batteres sausage is really good too. The owners and staff are friendly and warm, so much so, we look forward to going in there
