Food was average at best. The steak was dry and tasteless. Ribs were overcooked. Service was not great. Despite the restaurant being empty, we still had to wait 30 minutes for our order.

We didn't book ahead so we were slightly nervous but we arrived to a very busy Friday night and managed to secure a table for the 5 of us around 7:30pm. Really buzzing and fun atmosphere. Cute pub tucked away in Brentford. We'd seen the great reviews about Dr Dough's pizzas, and we were not disappointed. If you have not pre-ordered you can only buy one or two slices but that was fine - we ordered two slices each and a few more and we were stuffed. Absolutely delish. Lots of service and staff clearing tables. Fab evening. Next time we will book our dough in advance, promise!

No tenía comida solo bebidas.

This pub is located just across the crosswalk from Baker Street Station. Lunch is 11 pounds and includes a non-alcoholic drink and meal, which is very convenient. I went in after lunchtime on a weekday, so the pub was empty. The staff were very friendly and the steak sandwich was delicious. It's a good, reasonably priced pub in the area. There were people working on their laptops inside the pub.

This was the 6th hotel bed in 17 days. We were looking for a spot that was convenient to Heathrow, but still gave us a night in London. Each preceding hotel bed was somewhere on the Goldilocks spectrum. The first was too soft, the second was too hard, there was one that I could count the springs in the bed with my spine. The bed at POP was so comfortable I slept through the night for the first time on the trip. The room was astonishingly quite given where it was. The low rumble of the train was no bother. We actually didn’t want to get out of bed in the morning because it was so comfortable. The pub itself is great. The food was good. The Guiness was perfect. We made some new friends in the pub. The location in town is ideal. You can get anywhere you want from Paddington. In a less that 24 hour trip, we saw a play at Shakespeare’s Globe, another show at the Phoenix Theater, took a walk in Kensington Gardens, had time for Sunday roast in the pub, and slept 8 hours in that awesome bed. I fly from the states to go to Cardiff, via Heathrow. I think from now on, when I get off the train in Paddington, I stop here for a pint before I catch my train to Cardiff or the airport. And if I have enough time, I’ll stay the night at the Pride of Paddington.

Dan W made this night so good! We come here often with wor,k, and have never received the Level of service that he provided. He made our experience so much better than usual. A friendly face, & top class service. He delivered our bottle (of the cheapest rosè) to our table!! Was great. I hope he gets the recognition he deserves. Thanks. Xx
