Traditional pub with a cool modern twist. Great mix of locals and visitors, all made to feel very welcome. Usual beers, but bar staff also handy with a cocktail shaker....most are a tenner which is great value. John the piano player bangs out some tunes from the old days on a Saturday afternoon, the rest of the time the pub soundtrack covers some old skool reggae and unusual eclectic music choices! There is an increasing array of music events, on with best and funniest pub quiz around. Fight your way past the building works and visit. Dog friendly.

Very friendly and welcoming traditional pub adjacent to the Duke of London classic car dealership. I’ve been there on many occasions after events - usually for a pint of Fuller’s Pride being served on the tab. They offer both indoor and outdoor seating with plenty of space available, there’s always a nice chair available! They also offer food to be delivered from both nearby restaurants - the Santa Maria pizzeria and the D Grande Tex-Mex - which I’ve reviewed separately as I’ve visited both restaurants always separately from having a beer in The Brewery Tap. It’s inside a beautiful old building - very picturesque setting bridging the space between the Duke’s site and the river Brent.

Lovely people, great food, really friendly service. Even though it was really busy ( riverside festival ), the bar was well organised and wait time were held to a minimum

Walked down the blue road which led us to the pub 👍 Seated and used the app to order with great Covid compliance 👍 Toilets are “interesting “, maybe some instructions for those who haven’t been to a festival on how to pump the handle for good effect 👍 Overall felt safe and the staff are doing a good job 👏

I booked this online but wasn't aware until we got there that the pub is only allowing people to sit outside. Thankfully the evening was dry and we had warm enough clothing but it would have been useful to be alerted to that in advance. Having said that, the staff were very friendly and helpful and the service was efficient. The pizzas were lovely and good value and the setting quirky. Will definitely go back.

This evening my wife and I enjoyed our visit to the Brewery Tap. We received a very warm welcome and enjoyed our pizza and bottle of wine. The Covid precautions were taken seriously. The nearby lock and dock were historic and interesting as well.

Visited with friends on a Saturday afternoon/early evening. Great beer, great atmosphere, local musicians. Some of the cleanest toilets I've ever seen in a pub, which is not to be sniffed at (see what I did there). Will be great in the summer too by the river.

Just like HelenA’s review, we were equally disappointed. Beer was terrible - how hard is it to keep a good pint of Pride? And it was pricey- £10.30 for medium house white and a pint. We drank up and left pronto. Music was appalling too. Such a shame as we really want to support this lovely pub! Sort the beer out, don’t overcharge and choose your music wisely, then we might be back.

My partner and I love this pub and were so pleased it has re-opened after re-furbishment. The pub is now nicely lit up and fresh and clean. However, the music which is usually wonderful was very disappointing. There was a solo guitarist named Terry who played a tune and sang a different tune at the same time. Everyone stopped applauding and the customers starting leaving. I enjoyed my wine. My partner said the beer was off and made him feel a bit sick. I will return as I like the pub so much, but the music must go back to the same quality and they must learn how to look after beer. I really hope they do as its a wonderful traditional little pub where people go to socialise and not eat.

Un lieu tout doux, très "frais" et bien fréquenté. Typique pourtant et accueillant. On s'y sent bien. Tables confortable, decoration charmante. Musique douce et charmante. Trendy à souhait. Un seul regret, ne pas l'avoir découvert plus tôt lors de notre séjour à brentfort.

I’ve been a a regular at the tap for sometime.... after awhile being closed for refurbishment it has reopened and, I’m pleased to say, very welcoming, good beers, and still superb live music.... the refurb is good and sympathetic to the pub.... the land lady is awesome, friendly and very approachable... and it’s still a great place off the main drag to catch up with friends and listen to great live music

Visited what looked like a lovely backstreet pub, initially we were welcomed by a friendly and courteous member of staff. The atmosphere changed when his colleague appeared behind the bar and decided to crank the music up so loud that we couldn’t hold a conversation. The polite barman respected our request to turn it down, but the other barman decided to turn it up again whilst throwing a sneering look at our group. Would love to visit this pub again but cannot recommend this unless there’s a change in personnel.

Catherine Wheel Road is currently painted a sweet shade of blue, as the area is redeveloped for a community scheme. But never fear--despite the plastic barriers, the Brewery Tap is open for business! It is just around the corner, so not visible from the main road. The building is raised up above the level of the floods on the nearby tidal inlet. Inside it is dim, with black-painted beams, a vintage fireplace, and sage-green paint over textured fleur-de-lis wallpaper. The carpet is green, patterned with flowers. There are many posters advertising forthcoming live music events. The background music is good old-fashioned 1960s and older music from the Deep South of the US of A. Here the local boat folk gather in their fishermen's jerseys in the afternoon. The pub has a sweet, old-fashioned air, and as the weather heats up it would be a nice place to escape the summer heat, dreaming that you are somewhere steamy in the Deep South. The barman was friendly and welcoming.

The landlord tire to hit on me and my firmed I front of her dad and it was clear that I was super uncomfortable so my friends dad asked him to leave us alone but he then threatened to forcefully remove us. The landlord had snatched my phone out my hand and been holding his arm around me and rubbing my back as to which I responded by hunching over. And to that the landlord pointed out then when he did so I recoiled and he poked fun and tried to do it again. It was clear as to how uncomfortable I was. He’s disgusting and it’s clear from what the regulars said that he does this quite often. Don’t want to know what he may have done to other girls.

One of the best kept secrets in West London. Intimate little pub with great atmosphere. The first Monday of the month is a music quiz night. Possibly one of the longest running music quiz nights in London. There is a great, but friendly rivalry between the teams and newcomers are always welcome, though it is very challenging. A different host from the teams take it in turn to host the event each month, so each month is quite different. If you enjoy music, you will feel at home.

A rare pub which has served all of us well for many years. Good brews, even good lager (surprising no good scrumpy box though at least no freezing generic rubbish) and a very decent Sunday lunch for a decent price ....ask Jill for the flying gravy special...and great publicans, patrons and music and dogs. Hurrah for real pubs.

Este es un bonito pub, amable y encantador. La variedad de cervezas no es emocionante ya que es un pub de Fullers, así que aún están mal. Si estás en la zona bien merece una visita, pero no salir de su camino para venir aquí.

Pro's Great little traditional pub Good selection of real ales on Pool table Live music Toilets spotlessly clean Friendly attentive staff Con's No river view Great pub, stumbled across it by accident. This pub has in all likelihood not changed in years and that is why it is so good. Far better than the homogeneous interiors of most high street chains. Would definitely recommend a visit.

The Brewery Tap was probably not much different a hundred years ago. Don't worry, it's freshly painted and has smart new loos. It's the atmosphere that's traditional, and which is why it is so popular. It has great live music several nights a week, a pool table, and an outside area for smokers, but no flashing lights, no juke boxes, fruit machines, or other flashy tat. It's just a real pub.Against some stiff competition, it's my favourite pub in London, nay, the UK.

Really good Sunday roast pork with all the trimmings. The extra large plate was worth a few pence more! Not a whisky drinker but dozens of malt whiskies and award winning real ale. Worth hunting down this great traditional British pub.

Found the Brewery Tap by accident,at the end of a long walk I was thrilled at the prospect of a well earned drink! The pub is small, not very grand more traditional but cosy,I imagine it is great in winter, spotted a wood burning stove. Settled down to a lovely fruit beer and then i got the delicious smell of roast,so much for my diet! We both ordered the beef ,at about £9 we thought it wouldn't be the end if the world if it was awful. This large plate piled high with beef ,Yorkshire pud and loads of veg arrived. We were very surprised at the quality,it was just like home cooked Sunday roast quite delicious apart from the cauliflower,my least favourite vegetable! We will definitely go back again, the guy behind the bar said they have quizz nights, live music as well. We left via the main exit in Catherine Wheel road at a somewhat slower pace!!
