Coffee was not great. But loved the atmosphere and the place altogether.

We just arrived in London and had the perfect first meal at St James’s Park Café! I went for the full English breakfast—classic, hearty, and absolutely satisfying. My wife had the shakshuka, which was flavorful and comforting. The view of the park made the experience even better—such a peaceful and beautiful spot to start the day.

Don't come here it's a rip off £7 for a fucking stuffed tortilla and it tastes like shit I don't recommend it

Ate scones here but the scones were a bit dry. You have to order the food at a kind of bar the service is fast

Bathroom was disgustingly dirty

Fab location & good coffee. Buttermilk pancakes were cold, tasted like they’d been taken out of a supermarket packet. Said they’d come with strawberries, there was about half a strawberry. Obviously it’s overpriced.

Nice location in St Jamespark near Buckinham Palace. Good place for breakfast and quick lunch.

We have been to this place 3 times and I must say that it has an exceptional service and a really friendly staff ready to satisfy every need. The manger accompanied us and had a special attention to our son's requests even the most rambling ones. We will definitely be back

We went here in VE Day celebrations and there were overwhelmed as you can imagine. The location is obviously lovely, food good with lots of spacious seating.

Lovely ambience with lots of indoor and outdoor seating and the staff was very friendly and nice :) We only ordered the cappuccino and hot chocolate and they were as good as can be.

Today me and my friends had a great experience at St Jame’s park Cafe. The staff was really welcoming and smiling while we were ordering. The food was delivered in time and really delicious, i recommend the fish and chips😍. The coffee was well presented and the scone… absolutely delicious.

I came to this café full of hope. Well, turns out… pretty spectacularly bad. If you dream of being overcharged for a stale sandwich while being expertly ignored by unsmiling staff (shoutout to operator 232546), you’ve found your paradise. I bought a mango & pineapple yogurt and was charged for a fruit pot which was slightly cheaper, a tuna bloomer and was blessed with the price tag of a chicken and avocado one instead. Sure, the difference was small — but it’s the thoughtlessness that counts. Between the mystery billing, the limp food, and the general aura of “we’d rather be anywhere else,” it was almost a work of art. In a park as beautiful as St James’s, this café somehow manages to be the biggest disappointment.

If you're looking for a tourist-trap spot, where the food is close to ultimate mediocrity and the prices are ultra-expensive, you've found the right place. Absolutely avoid, especially if you want to find a place to have an English brunch, there are much better places. The bread is not toasted, the potatoes are raw and the coffee is Evian water, don’t try it! I hope the place closes soon!

Just sat inside very busy went to the counter for a drink and some water for the dogs , they refused to give me water for the dogs , disgusting

Came in here with my friend to get a coffee and use the toilet. We first went to the toilets and we were immediately stopped by an employee who said it was for costumer use only. After explaining to him that I was on my period and it was a matter of urgency. He continued to persistently state that I couldn’t use it if I wasn’t a costumer. The refusal to let me use the toilet whether I was a costumer or not was a huge lack of care and consideration for costumers. This treatment completely deterred us from actually making a purchase, especially when it was my friend’s birthday.

Great food, extremely welcoming staff and the location is beautiful. Furthermore there is also a lot of choice for takeaway food, such as sandwiches, sandwiches etc. And also for breakfast there is a huge variety of desserts etc. I can't wait to go back.

I had a lovely experience at St. James’s Café by BENUGO. The granola was absolutely beautiful and delicious — fresh, crunchy, and full of flavor. The pancakes were soft and fluffy, and the eggs were cooked perfectly. Everything was presented nicely and tasted just as good. The service was impressively quick, and our waiter was incredibly kind and attentive. A perfect spot to relax and enjoy a tasty breakfast with a view of the park. Highly recommend!

We were walking through the beautiful park and wanted to share a small bite to eat and this really hit the spot. Nice selection of bakery goods and sandwiches. The wifi worked well and we continued to enjoy our trip

We loved eating on the the patio so we could enjoy the park. The food was surprisingly over the top delicious. I had the Caesar salad with chicken and it was probably the best Caesar salad I have ever had. The chicken just melted in my mouth. My husband had mushroom risotto and it was very good too. We had carrot cake for dessert and it was delightful. However, it was kind of a pain to order since you order at the counter and it was super crowded. Apparently you can order with an app at the table though we didn't know that. The bathroom was unspeakably gross with deep drifts of used TP thrown into the corners of the stalls. What's that about? 😳 An unpleasant end to a really good meal.

Surprisingly wide choice of sandwiches, salads and desserts. In addition, many types of hot and cold drinks. We put together our picnic in the park - a genuinely delicious meal. The biggest drawback is the price, which is not really in proportion to the quantity and quality of the food.

No había estado aquí en años y lo recordaba como un oasis agradable. Tan decepcionante. El entorno es precioso junto al estanque, pero termina allí. El día soleado decidió sentarse afuera. Sentí que estaba tomando mi vida en mis manos, la cubierta estaba visiblemente podrida en partes y se sentía insegura. Mesas no muy limpias y basura en el suelo. Falta general de cuidado. El código en la mesa no funcionaba, el servicio no estaba disponible, así que tuve que entrar por encargo, dos colas muy largas por la puerta que apenas se movían. Nos rendimos y nos fuimos. Todo el lugar se sentía sucio y descolorido. Una pena y me sentí avergonzado de que los muchos turistas que visitan deberían encontrar esto como un ejemplo de hospitalidad en medio de uno de los grandes parques de Londres.

Magnífico entorno en medio de los árboles con vistas al lago, con una variada aunque un poco costosa elección de comida y bebida, pero está mal decepcionado por el mal nivel de limpieza. El personal mostró poca inclinación a despejar las mesas, lo que resultó en un aspecto poco atractivo y desordenado y atrajo a una bandada entusiasta de palomas a las mesas exteriores. Y el servicio de pedidos de mesa en línea no funciona. Decepcionante

The serve breakfast until 11:30 and lunch from 12:00, so at 11:34 they have absolutely nothing to eat. Shameful. The pre-made sandwiches are dreadful. Also, everything is overpriced.

For our first meal in London, we grabbed breakfast here in the park on our way to Westminster. Traditional English breakfast that was OK, but the pancakes were great, if more than a little eclectic. Greek yoghurt, spiced pumpkin jam, poached pear, pistachios, lavender honey. Yum

Desayuno inglés tradicional que estaba bien, pero las tortitas eran geniales, aunque más que un poco ecléctico. Yogur griego, mermelada de calabaza especiada, pera escalfada, pistachos, miel de lavanda. Yum

The coffee shop presented a promising first impression with its lovely, modern, and clean interior. Unfortunately, this positive start quickly dissolved. The ordering system was baffling – a long queue of 30+ people waited unnecessarily, as three tills were actually available. The outdoor seating area was really nice but view spoiled by uncleared tables attracting hordes of pigeons. The finale was witnessing a staff member casually walk past these messy tables, sporting a t-shirt that read "not inspired today sorry" …she wasn’t kidding….and doing nothing. As a born and bred Londoner, I found this incredibly disappointing, especially for our visitors. This is not the impression we want to give.

Stopped for a cold one and it was nice

Lovely ambiance. The at table ordering system was down, but nothing indicated that when we ordered. So after watching 20 people order and get their food and drinks we asked and learned our order had not been received. The mistake was corrected quickly and with apologies. However the eggs Benedict was cold when it came out. It was not even room temperature. They said the ham was supposed to be that way because of the kind of ham it is. Fine. But the eggs and bread were also cold as if they’d sat in a refrigerator. I asked if they could heat it in the microwave and they would not due to the ham. They offered to remake it, but I was too hungry by that point and ate it cold. It was sustenance and that was it. My partner had the English breakfast and it met expectations.

Large cafeteria in a very pretty part of St James' Park. Does great cakes and pastries but can get very busy on guard change days due to it's close proximity to Buckingham Palace.

I got a coffee and a muffin and when I saw they charged me for some pumpkin caramel latte thing, I figured it was the same price as the muffin. I then went back for a bottle of water that was £2.15 and they charged me £5.60. Think the overcharged me on some boujee latte that cost double the price of my muffin. Make sure you’re looking at the price before you pay because they’re taking the piss and overcharging everything. Make sure to get a receipt.

Great experience and lovely staff, small issue with the order as certain items didn't arrive, had to speak to multiple staff to resolve such dilemma but in the end was resolved smoothly once speaking to the manager

I recently had the pleasure of dining at St. James Cafe, and it was truly an exceptional experience from start to finish. The atmosphere is warm and inviting, that makes you feel right at home. I highly recommend trying their signature dishes , you can tell they use high-quality ingredients that are both locally sourced and thoughtfully prepared. The staff are incredibly friendly and attentive, always ensuring that your needs are met without being intrusive. They are knowledgeable about the menu and more than happy to offer recommendations. I will definitely be back!

What a great place for breakfast! You can't beat the atmosphere and the views. Ordering with the app was both easy and efficient. Our appetites were eager and ready for the hot, tasty egg sandwiches after the fresh walk though the park. We enjoyed this stop and the meal.

I like the venue, I have been before, but definitely taken by Benugo the experience in quality, price and Service went down. Flavour and presentation was also not good.

Awful service. I just wanted to buy a bottle of water to go and took them almost 5 minutes to notice me and let me pay (and that cause I had to almost scream and ask say the girl at the cash: Hello there, I would like to pay). There was no queue, no client, anyone, all the workers were only not interested at all. Never again.

It is such a shame that this place is not better. It literally has one of the best locations in the world. But it is a bit of an industrialised tourist trap. The prices are high and the quality is what I would call tourist adequate. The food is fine, but not memorable, outside has more atmosphere than in. Service today was very slow, even for two cups of tea, and even though it was pretty empty.

Big indoor cafe, with plenty of seating. The coffee is good and there are plenty of vegetarian options for breakfast/lunch, with good portion sizes. It was busy because it was a Saturday, but we didn't wait that long for the food to arrive. Good place to warm up after a cold winter morning walk in the park.

I live quite close to this cafe and have visited many times, but the quality of the service and refreshments is horribly inconsistent. Today's was nothing short of appalling. With only one member of staff taking orders the wait time was excessive, as was the wait for the ordered drinks. I saw them put a prepared hot chocolate towards the back of the prep area and there it sat, waiting for the coffees to arrive. At that point the staff, realising that the hot chocolate was now definitely not hot, topped up the mug with more hot milk. This overflowed into the tray and when I asked for a saucer, was told they couldn't let me have one and would have to ask for permission. I returned the chocolate and realised that asking for a refund would also possibly take an excessive amount of time. The tables on the veranda area were horribly cheap and a lot of them were not stable. You have an amazing spot for this cafe in a beautiful park and you are wasting an opportunity to provide an experience that would have people wanting to visit again. At the moment I suspect that many of the people in there today would have left with a very negative opinion and I for one will not be back until you have made considerable improvements to your ordering and service.

We only ordered an expresso and juice which was fine. However, when I went to use the toilet one of the staff stood right in front of doorway like a security guard and was blocking my entry. He then plainly stated that it was for customers only… It was rude and unnecessary. Like, read the room brother!

It sounds like you had a mixed experience at the shop. A 3 for the food due to its difficulty to eat might be a concern if you were looking forward to a comfortable meal. Not knowing if they have a microwave can certainly add to that uncertainty. On top of that, a non-smiling service desk lady might give the impression that the customer service wasn't the best, but it's understandable that she could have been working all day. On the bright side, giving a 5 for the shop's location in the park suggests that the setting is lovely and enjoyable. It's always nice when a place is situated in a beautiful spot. If you plan to go back, maybe you could ask about the microwave situation or try another dish that might be easier to handle.

Cakes and scrolls are dry and unpleasant, coffee is mediocre. Staff refused to heat it up after asking too. Main breakfast dishes were good.

Abbiamo pranzato in questo posto meraviglioso immerso nel parco. La Manager Chiara ci ha accolto veramente alla grande spiegandoci tutti i piatti e consigliando molto bene. La carne veramente buona. I bambini hanno gradito tutto ma soprattutto hanno gradito i dolci. Pulizia del locale ottima e servizio molto rapido e preciso. Forse le specialità tipiche londinesi migliori che abbiamo mangiato in questa piccola vacanza. Torneremo sicuramente. Grazie CHIARA.

Abysmal, ordered there big breakfast which was cold when it arrived and the place was very quiet. Drinks when ordered with your breakfast are not brought over to your table, but you are not informed about this so you sit for 15mins and no one says anything. Would not eat or drink here again, even if someone else paid. Avoid this inefficient joke of an eatery at all cost.

A cafe with a British atmosphere on St. James's Park. It is recommended to arrive before the changing of the royal guards in the morning at Buckingham Palace for a coffee and pastry in a local atmosphere with a background of the park and the London Eye.

Stopped here on our walk to Buckingham Palace on a very cold day. We all ordered the hot chocolate and it was just what we needed to continue our walk!

This is a great place to stop for breakfast. Before 9 am, we didn't have any wait and picked our seat. The food was delicious and the view was beautiful.
