I’m a regular customer at Café Concerto and I’ve been eating the shrimp Caesar salad for more than two years regularly. However, today when I had the Caesar salad at this branch the shrimp the king smelt very bad and rotten and it tasted bitter. When I called the waitress and told him about it, he didn’t listen and he said this is how it smells like this, but he knows that we’ve been very regular customers for a long time and we knew how it tasted but he wouldn’t listen. I told him to complain about this to the chef he said is this is supposed to smell like. This was definitely rotten Shrimp and he said it was fresh. Additionally, my mom ordered the Fratelli salad and the rocket was expired and looked very lean.

The bar counter lady Bisma is so unhygienic and unprofessional that she is digging her nose and touching her face , coughing on drinks before serving openly without mask or without putting hands on face. Looking at her we canceled all food and drinks order. If she is so dirty and unhygienic while handling edible items, drinks,food being at open counter then really we doubt the hygiene at kitchen area downstairs. Since couple of years almost but after seeing Bisma's unhygienic habit at bar/beverage counter we will never step in here.

The place is designed in the royal English style It was a beautiful Saturday afternoon in the heart of ❤️ crowds. The place was relaxing after a long walk Requests cappuccino and rose tea (don't order it) hot water with a rose. I am sensitive to its value and we ordered a crepe with pieces of strawberry fruit with banana and covered with delicious chocolate. The experience is excellent if you are close to the place, it is not worth a long trip

I was in London this weekend with friends, and they brought me here for tea as per English tradition. Even though I'm not a big tea drinker, I particularly appreciated some of their typical specialities, accompanied by exquisite desserts. I also compliment the service, waiters and waitresses always available and very kind (thanks Bisma!) Experience to repeat as soon as I return to London!

Great pre theatre show meal. Just up the road from the Prince of Wales theatre. We ordered grilled chicken breast x2 with a spinach side and our son had fish n chips & absolutely demolished it. Really lovely meal, not over priced imho at all..

I regularly frequent the Caffè Concerto chain if I am out late and fancy a coffee and dessert. This one is more "intimate" than the larger ones, but I managed to get a table without a booking. I had the Biscoff Lotus Cheesecake (highly recommended) and a Spanish Latte which is new to the menu. Both were served very promptly and I had a very good experience as always.

The service was appalling. The waitress came back 3 times (the 3rd time after 15 minutes meaning she still hadn't placed the order) to check what we had ordered and still got it wrong. Two of our group of 3 were eventually served their drinks whilst we had to chased the restaurant several times for the missing ones. We were also incorrectly served double portions of cake which we returned, however they still attempted to charge us for them. However what was more alarming was then when I went to use the ladies I was informed there was no loo roll. The cleaning lady was present so I asked her to if she could get some and she looked horrified. She disappeared for a few minutes only to return to announce that they didn't have any and offered me a huge blue roll of blue paper towel instead. Not a great advertisement for complying with Health and Safety in a food setting. The drinks and cake were unremarkable. I had been looking forward to visiting Caffe Concerto but I certainly won't be returning in a hurry.

Black Forest cake is definitely not a Black Forest cake! Taste is completely different. Service is a bit slow.

I can't give less than one star, the black forest cake was completely dry and really disgusting, the ingredients weren't even the same (I came here 7 years ago and it was delicious, now everything has changed, even the management) and when we told the waiter who gave us the bill, he didn't charge us just for one cake, when there were two of us who had ordered it and for both of us it was really nauseating. It was very rude, we will never go there again.

Horrible experience, they made us wait even though there was room, we waited 30 minutes for a cake because it was forgotten, the cake was poor and above all fake it was all dry. All very sad

I went here on the weekend with my sibling and we absolutely LOVED it. It has such a cute aesthetic and vibe, the food was delicious, iced tea so refreshing, and the service was great! I had some strawberry cake and strawberry iced tea and was sooo happy with my choice, absolutely delicious! Will definitely have to return to try some other treats sometime, highly recommended!! ❤️

Whether it's a sensational lunch - from delicious pasta to risotto, meat or traditional cuisine like fish and chips - simply delicious! The icing on the cake are the delicious cakes or tarts and especially the incredible tarts. Incredibly delicious! The coffee is really good too!

I ordered a risotto and said I was gluten free and they took 1 hour to bring it out and it wasn't even gluten free. Then I asked if I could have a glass of water and they said no..... I don't recommend

All the staff were delightful. In particular the manager, a gentleman who served me in the evening whos name i have sadly forgotten, along with another gentleman who served me in the morning called Pavan Sai. I adored the food and the ambience of the place and i will be making many return trips.

The service at this beautiful little gem in the middle of London was fabulous, Pavan was attentive and lovely throughout. Afternoon tea was absolutely stunning and I will be recommending to everyone coming to the theatre in the future! 💎 5 stars 🌟

Sat down for a sandwich. Everything tasted great. The homemade lemonade was also tasty. The staff wasn't really looking forward to it. Walked around a bit disinterested. In addition, everything was a bit overpriced.

The place is very Good, and the customer service Is incredible, out of most I liked the way the employees response. Joanna was very kind in taking my order for the breakfast. She quickly understood what I need and grabbed my breakfast toast and coffee. The way she decorated the dish was very beautiful. She is very good in her work

Great staff (waiter and the lady at the bar). We felt very comfortable being here! The chocolate cake is amazing, but the vegan pistaccio was OKAY :) All in all we would absolutely recommend, especially between 8-9 pm or for breakfast

Nice little cafe. We both had paninis and they were good but the real advantage of this place is it’s right on Shaftesbury Avenue across the road from the Apollo Theatre…perfect for a pre-theatre bite.

Worst afternoon tea experience. Food is stale and dry. Deserts were so bad. We just drank the tea and had to throw our food away. We never waste food. Just could not eat it. It was so bad. Waste of 74 pounds. It’s a loot.

It is a beautiful place where you can rest calmly and comfortably, with the most beautiful atmosphere at the corner and the edge. I recommend it to everyone and the prices are affordable.

I enjoyed the coffee there and I was pleased by the amount of vegan/vegetarian options found in the menu. The service, however, was not as great. Just a little bit slow and not very attentive to the clients. I do not recommend eating in the exterior part due to the amount of people walking in the street.

Very poor and seriously expensive meal but final insult was their refusal to accept Scottish pound notes as payment for dinner. Manager very apologetic but said it was company policy. He had my sympathy attempting to enforce such nonsense. Will not return to this or any other branches which adopt this ridiculous stance.

Visited here before the Theatre, we only had a cake and drink but the food being brought looked lovely. The cakes were amazing! Staff were friendly and doing their best to get everyone in.

A very nice and cultured place, you can have a nice sit and drink coffee or eat something sweet, the service is polite and very nice, very comfortable places, and delicious cakes, perfect in taste, not too sweet. The overall rating is very good, I highly recommend it to everyone. 😊

Well first of all the waiters can't be asked, secondly the breakfast was really bad, the espresso cup was dirty( I don't think is been washed). The only good thing about that place was the black girl that had an amazing body and she was nice too🤙

Good prices for the West End. Service was good, the food was down to earth and tasty. We didn’t book, we just showed up. Lots of cakes to choose from.

Good service, over-priced, decent ambience, poor food, poor coffee. We visited here and the front of house staff were friendly, which saved this from being a one star rating. As expected with London pricing, everything was overpriced, with the added service charge. The pasta dish we ordered was bland; the sauce was watered down. This was likely a cost-cutting measure, but it was too obvious. I had a chicken sandwich, but their cost cutting habits extended to their sandwiches as well; there was hardly any actual chicken. We expected our £6 mocha to be at least of the same standard as the dozen other coffee shops in the area, but the serving size was tiny and it tasted cheap. Overall, I wouldn’t recommend a visit. There’s plenty of other places to visit in London so don’t be deceived by Caffe Concerto’s pretty exterior.

Had lunch here, would never go again. I ordered a chicken and halloumi burger, the chicken was so overcooked it was solid and dried out. My friend had the salmon nicoise and the salmon was overcooked. The serving staff were polite but at no point asked if our food was okay and yes I should have complained but being hot, tired and hungry I just ate everything else except the chicken. When our plates were cleared the waiter didn’t comment on me having clearly left the whole piece of chicken. We paid £72 for overcooked food, a coffee and a lemonade. If you are in the area on a Monday to Thursday during the day, I would recommend looking for the street food market at St James Church round the corner, the food looked and smelled amazing. My biggest regret of yesterday is not just walking back there!

Very very disappointing. Not my First visit to a Caffe Concerto. The first visit was a year ago at a different location I had the carbonara and was very impressed. So I had the same at this location and OMG what a mistake I might as well of got a microwave meal from Tesco. The carbonara was nothing like the other location. 😞

This place is a great restaurant if you're looking for top quality food and great service. I was very pleased after dining here and would really recommend coming here if you're walking around Soho. I also would like to mention Shahzad the manager, who was very respectful and joyful. 👍🏾

My mother and I visited this cafe on the 4th of July for a quick bite before going to the theatre for the matinee performance. We arrived at 1:30 p.m. and were seated outside as no space was available inside. After 10 minutes we had to find a waiter to take our order and at this point we were told food was taking a little longer than expected, and would be around 15 minutes. We thought this would be okay so ordered, by 2pm the food had not arrived, we again had to look for a member of staff and were told it was coming out imminently. At 2:05 still with no food we again had to look for a member of staff, who told us it would be another five minutes. We explained that we needed the food promptly, and was assured it was coming out in 3 minutes. By 10 past we realised we would not be able to eat before going to the theatre, so again searched for a member of staff, who told us wouldn't be ready in time, despite 30 minutes having elapsed from when we ordered. We requested the bill to pay for the 2 drinks we had ordered, when the bill arrived it had the standard service charge on which seemed ridiculous as no service had been given without prompt. We requested this to be removed before payment. This was extremely upsetting as if we had been told the truth from the beginning we would have been able to find somewhere else to eat. We had to go to the theatre having had no food and being very upset due to the appalling lack of service and communication. I will never use Caffe Concerto again.

I dined here for the Cream Tea and it was delightful. I was seated immediately upon walking in and my server, Sadi, was very helpful in choosing a delicious tea! I highly recommend for people who want a relaxed but decadent atmosphere and delicious meal.

The little cakes aren't that good at all, but not so bad either, perhaps the prices are slightly high, in attention and service they need a bit more care, at some hours it could get very crowded.

Spanish latte wasn't great, it was very sweet and wasn't really worth it. The tiramisu looked terrible and tasted terrible. They also tried to short change me because the waiter said they didn't have enough change which is unacceptable to try and take more money. For this reason the service gets 1 star. I have always wanted to try a Caffe concerto but I wish I hadn't. Nothing special about this place.

3 of us popped in for cake and coffee. Service was good. You know due to the location it’s not going to be value for money. Two cokes, one coffee and scone £27

Decor is beautiful but I felt the scone needed more flavour, but i wasnt impressed. The drink are ok, but pricey. And like others have said, a 12.5% gratuity is outrageous.

Came here for a coffee and a cake as we were really early for the nearby Crystal Maze experience, and had a bit of time to kill. Definitely overpriced for what you get, I paid £4.95 for a standard Americano, and if we wanted a homemade lemonade these were £8.95!!!! Cake slices were also a minimum of £8 plus. I appreciate the location is not exactly likely to promote reasonable prices, but it did feel like we were paying through the nose. Service was functional rather than exceptional. Cannot comment on the food, the menu looks extensive, but we did not eat here. Probably would find somewhere else to try, if in the neighbourhood again.
