We were passing and decided to pop in for breakfast...friendly welcome.. ordered breakfast tea and was served earl grey which was rectified quickly.. we ordered full English breakfast with poached egg instead of fried and salmon and avocado, after 30 minutes (people arriving after us were eating their food) and we were still waiting, tried to get waiters attention which proved difficult.. my partner went to bar and asked what was happening with our food she said the server was down so it didn't go through the till.. they were inattentive to the fact we sat there for nearly an hour and went completely unnoticed.. finally our breakfast arrived.. poached eggs were fried and my partners hollandaise sauce looked like a dodgy curdled egg...and everthing was tepid so not freshly cooked..Then asked for another breakfast tea.. (most people would of left by now) only to have been served another Earl grey.. we gave up by this point as we'd been in there nearly 2 hours.. we asked for bill and they didn't even consider taking anything off the bill.. so we said we weren't happy and they took 15 pound off.. it was ridiculous.. such a shame as we had high hopes. Will avoid in the future

Called in for breakfast…. Drinks were served quickly my partner ordered breakfast tea and was served a pot of earl grey. Staff rectified this quickly… we ordered 1 x full English breakfast with poached eggs / 1 x Smoked salmon, avocado & poached eggs. We then sat for 40mins and watched people who had arrived after us eat their food! Tried to get the waiters attention for some explanation, managed to catch his eye and he said he would come over shortly, he did not! So I went up to the counter to enquire and was instructed our order has not been placed with the kitchen. Ordered another pot of breakfast tea…. Another earl get arrived!!!? Then the food turned up… fried eggs not poached on the full English…. Bread not toasted for the salmon… hollandaise stone cold and curdled… everything cold like it had been sat for as long as we had!? All very disappointing really.

Five of us went to Caffe Concerto on Shaftesbury Avenue for lunch. We were seated quickly and the service was friendly and fast. The food was good and prices were reasonable for central London.

Dropped in for tea and some cake to take a break from shopping. We were spoiled for choice with the variety of cakes available. Settled for Strawberry Gateau and Lemon Cheesecake. Absolutely delicious and not a crumb was left on our plates. Both cakes were light but very filling. Pavana was our server and he was very attentive while allowing us the time to enjoy our cake. Would definitely recommend and we will return soon.

The food was delicious and hot. The restaurant was spotless and clean. And customer service was top notch. Jiffane was my waitress and she made the dinner much more than just food, it was truly an amazing experience. She was professional, nice, polite, and stayed patient throughout the whole experience. Also, the gelato was insanely good, I would recommend it to everybody. I had fish and chips to taste a bit of London, and I wasn't disappointed not one bit. Jiffane truly made our night even better with her excellent customer service skills and attention to details. If I could, I would give this place more than just 5 stars. Truly amazing.

We were 3 women who had been to the Apollo Theatre opposite and went into this Caffe. There were only 2 tables occupied and we asked the guy if he was serving cakes, tea and wine. He mumbled something, I asked again and he said rather rudely we are only serving meals and takeaway. This was at 9.10pm. It was so obvious his attitude towards us was because we were women of colour. ESPECIALLY as we walked up to Caffe Concerto in Piccadily asked the same question and the guy there could not have been more welcoming and helpful. We had cakes, tea and wine and was treated with the utmost respect by all the staff. I would give the Shaftsbury Avenue a wide berth as racism is not acceptable from any establishment and should not be allowed or accepted.

Stopped by for a lemon meringue tart today, having been thoroughly captivated by the exquisite pastry display. Regrettably, the one selected for me had a broken top. Whether it was a simple oversight or otherwise, as a first-time customer, I would have sincerely appreciated a tart that matched the immaculate presentation of the others. I am not upset. I am merely hopeful that the staff might handle such delicate creations with greater care and precision. After all, we are all paying the same price, and attention to detail does make a difference. I only hope that this small piece of feedback finds a kind ear.

I was having a TERRIBLE EXPERIENCE in this cafe in April 18 with my birthday. The waiters guy with glasses was like racism when taking my order, but when he go to others customers. He did serving well. I have ordered 2 cakes and 1 drinks but when I have waited like 20minutes for my second cake but it’s still didn’t come, only I ask and he just let me know it was out of order for the last cake. I was thinking never mind, today was my birthday just choose others cake again. But when I ask for bill or menu again with he. He was like just going to finish others order only will proceed my order. I was feel like it’s very rude for me. Only the other waiter coming to proceed my order was doing well. I just from Leicester to have a day cheer in London because my birthday but still having THESE REDICURIOUS experiences. I don’t care I was celebrating my birthday alone but just the service. Really? A Chinese customer comes to your cafe so you don’t want to serve me? After I paid like 40£+ I was the services tax 10£+ I was like REALLY? And my thinking was not balance for this poor service and I really have no more mood to finish the last cake anymore and leave it. I WOULD NOT GOING TO THIS CAFE ANYMORE.

My 1st time in London and the establishment is beautiful! Nice jazz was playing in the background and the decor is lovely and romantic. My pistachio cake and latte and husband’s lemon cheesecake was delicious.

Jiffane was great. She served us quickly, recommended the best desserts & was friendly & helpful. We had 40 minutes before the start of our theatre show, and she ensured she delivered our food on time. Food was of great quality as usual but Jiffane made the experience very special for us

Really bad service, came for Mother’s Day, shubham and Gurkeerat were unable to take the order and serve 6 of us between them. The barista was able to serve, my youngest was crying, the barista was the only competent person, who kindly got the one out of the 5 desserts from the window - which took around 30 seconds (NOT thirty minutes). We told them to leave the rest and we already finished our drinks. The chocolate fondant cake was bad, more slop than cake.

Everything was excellent. I’d argue that the prices are too expensive, like paying close to $16 for a crepe when normally they’re no more than $12 but I suppose it’s got to do t with being right downtown London and all. Ordered breakfast that felt like it was from the day before and everything was warmed up again. It was terrible and inedible! The toilets were under water which wasn't hygienic either!

I had dessert with my friends and our table served by Mahmudul.Mahi. He suggested us best one ( Pistachio Honey Cake and Ferrero one both are really good i love dark chocolate specially so that one really nice teste. Thank you we will back soon.

The café on Shaftesbury Avenue offers a diverse selection of desserts that impress both in terms of taste and appearance. Both vegans and lovers of dairy desserts will get their money's worth here. However, the food in the evening was already quite old and had cooled down considerably, which affected the taste somewhat. In addition to the desserts, there is also a solid selection of coffee specialties and good hot chocolate. In terms of price, the café is in the higher segment, and a comparatively high tip surcharge is charged, which in my opinion is not entirely justified given the average service. Overall an acceptable experience with strengths in the dessert options.

It was our third visit to Caffé Concerto on Shaftesbury Avenue. The food was so good. I had the strawberry cake & iced tea which was delicious. We were served by Tahasinul who provided fab customer service. I hope to see her again on future visits to the restaurant.

Caffè Concerto Shaftesbury Avenue offers an elegant dining experience with a European touch, perfect for pre-theatre meals. The menu features delicious Italian-inspired dishes and beautifully crafted desserts, though service can be inconsistent. A charming spot for a stylish coffee break or a leisurely meal. And your waitress name Tahsinul is very kind hearted and a good soul..her behave d was amazing

Took my wife to Caffe Concerto for her birthday We were shown to a table by the manager (Rashid), when we told him we were having the afternoon tea he told us it would be better at one of the larger tables We decided on the Prosecco afternoon tea for two which arrived quite promptly Rashid then brought out a plate with fruit and a candle and the staff and himself sang Happy Birthday (lovely touch to the afternoon) Would highly recommend

I was ill in the night after eating Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner at Cafe Concerto. I thought the pancetta could have been cooked a bit more but didn’t expect it to make me ill! Had it been defrosted insufficiently before cooking or kept too long? I wouldn’t trust the food here again but the waitress was polite and the service good. I e mailed them and have had no reply. Perhaps the Food Standards Authority should be told.

I purchased five different chocolate cakes this time. Overall, the prices were acceptable and in line with the standards of ordinary dessert shops. They did not feel particularly expensive or cheap. The texture and taste of the cake are good, with rich chocolate flavor and high sweetness, which is suitable for those with a sweet tooth, but it may be a bit greasy for those who don't like too much sweetness. Although each cake has its own characteristics, there is no amazing sense of surprise, and there is no urge to repurchase after taking one bite. In terms of environment, the overall atmosphere is comfortable, the decoration is elegant and warm, and it is suitable for friends gatherings or dates. It was a Friday night market, and the store was packed with people. It was very popular, which shows its popularity. The service staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. No one had to wait too long or feel uncomfortable. Overall, the cakes in this store are quite satisfactory and suitable for occasional taste. However, since there are no particularly surprising features, they may not be a choice that people will repurchase again and again.

The place is very Good, and the customer service Is incredible, out of most I liked the way the employees response. Joanna was very kind in taking my order for the breakfast.
