Caffe Concerto in City of London, Westminster

The café on Shaftesbury Avenue offers a diverse selection of desserts that impress both in terms of taste and appearance. Both vegans and lovers of dairy desserts will get their money's worth here. However, the food in the evening was already quite old and had cooled down considerably, which affected the taste somewhat. In addition to the desserts, there is also a solid selection of coffee specialties and good hot chocolate. In terms of price, the café is in the higher segment, and a comparatively high tip surcharge is charged, which in my opinion is not entirely justified given the average service. Overall an acceptable experience with strengths in the dessert options.

Morning of March 14, 2025 Very grumpy waiter. We just wanted some coffees. Not good coffees and very expensive Zero education. Greetings to customers!!!

It was our third visit to Caffé Concerto on Shaftesbury Avenue. The food was so good. I had the strawberry cake & iced tea which was delicious. We were served by Tahasinul who provided fab customer service. I hope to see her again on future visits to the restaurant.

Caffè Concerto Shaftesbury Avenue offers an elegant dining experience with a European touch, perfect for pre-theatre meals. The menu features delicious Italian-inspired dishes and beautifully crafted desserts, though service can be inconsistent. A charming spot for a stylish coffee break or a leisurely meal. And your waitress name Tahsinul is very kind hearted and a good soul..her behave d was amazing

Took my wife to Caffe Concerto for her birthday We were shown to a table by the manager (Rashid), when we told him we were having the afternoon tea he told us it would be better at one of the larger tables We decided on the Prosecco afternoon tea for two which arrived quite promptly Rashid then brought out a plate with fruit and a candle and the staff and himself sang Happy Birthday (lovely touch to the afternoon) Would highly recommend

I purchased five different chocolate cakes this time. Overall, the prices were acceptable and in line with the standards of ordinary dessert shops. They did not feel particularly expensive or cheap. The texture and taste of the cake are good, with rich chocolate flavor and high sweetness, which is suitable for those with a sweet tooth, but it may be a bit greasy for those who don't like too much sweetness. Although each cake has its own characteristics, there is no amazing sense of surprise, and there is no urge to repurchase after taking one bite. In terms of environment, the overall atmosphere is comfortable, the decoration is elegant and warm, and it is suitable for friends gatherings or dates. It was a Friday night market, and the store was packed with people. It was very popular, which shows its popularity. The service staff were friendly, courteous and efficient. No one had to wait too long or feel uncomfortable. Overall, the cakes in this store are quite satisfactory and suitable for occasional taste. However, since there are no particularly surprising features, they may not be a choice that people will repurchase again and again.

Took my wife to Caffe Concerto for her birthday The manager Rashid was very polite and helpful as were the other staff members We had the prosecco afternoon tea which was delightful Rashid also brought out a plate with fruit and a candle and he and the other staff members sang Happy Birthday (lovely touch) All in all it was a very pleasant experience

I was ill in the night after eating Spaghetti Carbonara for dinner at Cafe Concerto. I thought the pancetta could have been cooked a bit more but didn’t expect it to make me ill! Had it been defrosted insufficiently before cooking or kept too long? I wouldn’t trust the food here again but the waitress was polite and the service good. I e mailed them and have had no reply. Perhaps the Food Standards Authority should be told.

The place is very Good, and the customer service Is incredible, out of most I liked the way the employees response. Joanna was very kind in taking my order for the breakfast. She quickly understood what I need and grabbed my breakfast toast and coffee. The way she decorated the dish was very beautiful. She is very good in her work

Lovely Breakfast at Caffé Concerto! I went there with my friend twice! We had an english breakfast and tea on the first time and a strawberry matcha and iced blue matcha on the second visit! Renata served us well thank you so much!

Went there for a cake.the waitress TAHASINUL ,greeted us with a smile .Her hospitality was great she came to me with warm hearted welcome .Felt very nice there with the ambience and decor with the over all waitresses hospitality .

It was our second visit to Caffé Concerto on Shaftesbury Avenue. The food is fresh. I had the fish and chips which was delicious. We took some cake home on the first visit too. We returned to that particular restaurant branch (even though there are more branches close by) mainly because of the thoughtful staff. We were served by Tahasinul and Pavan, both of whom provided fab customer service. A testament to the restaurant. I hope to see them again on future visits to the restaurant.

Caffe Concerto was a nice spot for a meal. I really enjoyed the smoked salmon scrambled eggs, and the Nutella crepes with fruits were excellent. Interestingly, although no one else in the bar seemed to be having beer, I still got a Stella Artois delivered to my table. It is a bit on the expensive side, so it’s more of a one-time treat during a London trip, but overall, a good experience!

Delicious time spent in this pretty tea room where the savory menu is as delicious and generous as the desserts. The staff takes great care of the customers. Good place for a break in this very lively district of the capital.

It was a great experience .delicious pasta spicially concerto misto tower which comes with delicious selection .drinks was great and specially staff was very helpful and friendly even in a busy time they serve you quickly .

Overpriced and not very good. 16 pounds for a tea and a piece of cake, absolutely crazy. Cake was stale too, very disappointing

We went in the morning to have breakfast. The menu is good, there is a choice, and the desserts are absolutely superb! I ordered a pistachio-walnut cake (slice). Really melts in your mouth. A very nice girl was our waitress. Thank you, Renata & Nena!

Delicious cakes. Many snack options, a charming place and super friendly staff, especially Tahasinul, who was attentive at all times with a big smile.

Extremely expensive for an underwhelming experience. The prices in the window will lead you in to sit down but they add at £3 on to every item + service charge for minimal service Coffees weak and too milky. Would not recommend Too much style over substance I won't be visiting again.

I went to this cafe with my friends and had delicious food,the staff Pavan Sai he was very knowledgeable about the menu, recommending the grilled salmon, which was delicious. When we had questions about the dessert menu, he gave a detailed description, which helped us make a choice.

This is a lovely cafe, the staff Neha and Hakim were very attentive. I had the full English breakfast and a concerto tea, both excellent. Well worth a stop, and lovely and warm on a very cold morning.

Jaaffane Dare was wonderfully Fantastic

Y boyfriends and I went for a coffee and a bit to eat, however the waitress seemed to not care when we brought up our nut allergy. She was not confident in any of the products and didn’t consult another staff member. Very disappointed in the lack of care. Service was very slow and nobody would came over to check ok is. Starter and coffee was delicious but the cake seemed frozen. Very disappointed

Such bad service that I want to reject the service charge. And how dare them to say that 7% of the total charge is the hospitality charge?! I don’t see service nor hospitality. Thanks a lot now I’m off the rest of the Concerto restaurant.

Neha was one of the most underrated staff in that venue, after sorting out our queries she handled it very professionally with it being extremely busy on a Saturday afternoon, will come again!!!

The coffee chain is very well standardized. I was in two locations and the quality of the products and service was similar.

The French toast is the best I have ever had! My husband had pizza, beautifully made and presented, tasty too. The staff are so friendly and make you feel Very welcome. Friendly and reliable service. Despite the crowds at peak times I was able to choose a larger and more comfortable table.

We visited here over the Christmas period and would not return, my husband and I witnessed Chun (I think that's her name) being shouted at in a very unpleasant way by her manager (I think he was Indian) absolutely unacceptable to treat employees like this, Chun was nothing but attentive to us and provided a great service. The shop on the other hand was filthy, mugs absolutely disgusting with previous coffee stains on them, its 2025 and I cant believe what I have witnessed in the café, no need whatsoever to treat employees like this, disgusting!

Siempre habíamos querido probar este café / restaurante así que decidimos reservar antes del teatro. Habíamos reservado una mesa con antelación ya que sabíamos que estaría ocupado. Aunque habíamos reservado previamente tuvimos suerte de conseguir una mesa. El servicio era muy pobre y lento. La comida fue una gran decepción que fue totalmente inesperado. Mi marido tenía un plato de mariscos que no era barato, sin embargo, era un placer ya que estamos de vacaciones. Todo parecía como si se hubiera cocinado el día anterior, ya que no parecía fresco o acogedor. ¿Tenía una colada de pino que era horrible ya que estaba diluida con crema sintética por encima? Tenía los ñoquis de espinaca que eran muy pesados y similares en que la salsa definitivamente no solo se hizo caliente. Mi marido pidió 3 veces una segunda copa de vino y simplemente se rindió y solo pedimos la cuenta. La camarera apareció entonces con la copa de vino que habíamos pedido media hora antes y el capuchino que ni siquiera pedimos. El gerente nos dio el vino gratis, sin embargo, muy pobre en general

El personal era muy amable y hablador la comida se sirvió rápidamente con ambos platos siendo muy sabroso el precio puede ser un poco alto, pero teniendo en cuenta que estás en el distrito de los teatros y no es un restaurante de comida rápida, ¿iría a este restaurante de nuevo? -Sí.

Very pleasant restaurant, both in terms of food and service (provided by a waitress who claims to be a beginner but is very professional and lively). Regarding the price, it is also correct, especially for two plates and two full glasses of alcohol. It's a nice surprise and I recommend this establishment.

I went here for the afternoon tea. Sometimes it is hard to find a good afternoon tea and you need to book it in advance. After being unsuccessful on my hunt, I came here as a walk in. It was no problem at all. The quality was good, not the best and most exquisite but still delicious and satisfying. And this interior and groomed waiters are excellent l. Would recommend.

We had a pre-theatre family birthday party here today for 11 people including two children. Food and birthday cake delicious, and charming service. Thank you to the Cafe Concerto Shaftsbury Avenue team for looking after us so well today, we had a great time.

Tonight, I observed the manager berating and abusing a hard working employee, who was left in tears as she seated guests and served food. Shame on the manager, shame on the owner for hiring him- please do not eat somewhere where abuse is tolerated.
