Pretty average pub in a good location opposite Baker st station.

Didn't eat. Beers are fresh and service is great.

11 years ago, stopped by on the way back from the Sherlock Holmes Museum with my eight-year-old daughter. Their fish and chips was just excellent! It was a lot more delicious than the one we had at a famous restaurant on a guidebook the previous day. During the covid disaster, I was very sad to know that this pub was closed, but now I’m happy to find it is still there opening. If I get a chance to travel to London, I’ll definitely visit this place again.

We loved this Pub in London, in the Marylebone area. We were attended by Sapana, a beautiful student born in Nepal who has been studying here for a year! It was mandatory to eat Fish & Chip and it did not disappoint, it was spectacular! The atmosphere is super pleasant and friendly, we feel like we are in Buenos Aires. We will return!

Zack gave an amazing service. Very hospitable and served the drinks extremely fast. Please ask for him when you are here.

Unlikely to win a prize for the best roast dinner but definitely gets five stars for warm and friendly staff. It’s a chain pub and the roast is good value for money and the dessert offering hits the right notes with classic sticky toffee pudding and lemon tart. Missing stuffing on the chicken roast was dealt with quickly and efficiently. Personally don’t like having to order off an app but appreciate makes it easier for the venue.

When we went they had just opened in the morning. We only had a few drinks, the place was very well decorated. The attention of the girl who was at the bar was 10. Very nice and pleasant.

Was in for the cup final. Service was surprisingly fast for the amount of people in that day. Can't rate the food as we only had liquids. When next in London I would definitely return.

Great atmosphere and superb Guinness

Great place for drinks, pub food, and watching sports. Good atmosphere and good prices for the heart of London. Big shout out to Shannon who works there who showed great customer service as well, which isn't so common these days, so really grateful to see it here.

Cosy pub in central London. The service was amazing, especially from our server, Hannah, who made sure we were looked after!

If you need to drink a Guinness, a cocktail and eat a sublime meal, it's there. If like us, you try to ask for a simple bag of chips, we'll give you delicious fries for the same price.

We just had drinks in here to then go to madame tussauds.the only thing i could say bout toilets is too small cubicles u had to be a contorsionist! Drinks were great

Place looked really cool from outside, seemed like a good ambient. We ordered a burger (service was really dry while taking the order), and it was taking 40 minutes, so we went to ask if everything was alright with our order, to which the answer in a dry and this time mean way: “it’s just been 20 minutes”. Wouldn’t recommend this place unless you’re already drunk and looking to fight someone. In that case be my guest.

I ate Sunday roasts and especially roast half chicken with stuffing, it costs 15.45 pounds . It was good and the stuff was friendly. S nice place.

My girls and I really enjoyed ourselves and we loved the energy from the staff especially the manager I think her name was Shannon she was lovely great vibes.

Great place for a drink straight out of Baker Street tube, although one thing is felt that the staff could of helped us find a seat, we tried quite a few times to sit somewhere, it was reserved which is fair enough but then we tried to sit on a random table that had just been left and were told we couldn't sit there and then a minute later it wasn't reserved and someone had sat there.

Great beers, very good fish and chips, and lively ambience. Get a table, order at the bar, and they bring it to your table number.

We were recommended to come to this place and quite simple loved it. The food is amazing, the ambiance totally chilled and the staff very friendly, especially George ‘The Greek Spartan’ who conversed with my Brazilian friends catering to all our needs. If you’re in the area of Madame Tussauds, pop over the road and wander into The Globe. You won’t be disappointed.

Started off great - table was reserved as booked. After an hour or so, I decided to order a lager and pint of Guinness (this was about half 6/7pm) on the app. After 14mins, still no drink. So went to the bar where the tender apologized and poured my drink. The Guinness ran out half way through, so I pointed to the nearest lager to replace it, and was told 'its a pound dearer, so I will have to charge you' - I asked if this was a joke, he said no, its policy. I then asked what lager is cheaper than a Guinness, and was offered an Amstel, which I accepted. I then had to ask for my refund of the difference - obviously not policy? Really bad customer service - not sure if this was a the staff or Greene King's guidelines. The food was average - starters were small in portion. Would not go again.

We came with group of 34 pupils for a delicious fish and chips. It was excellent. The pupils had a great time and I recommend you visit this lovely and lively pub. La comida era buena y a un precio razonable, pero no había leche y té tibio para un desayuno inglés completo, no es exactamente un punto de venta. La mantequilla era margarina, me recordaba a Little Chefs en los 80. Bordeando la traición.

Very good pub in fact Madame Tussaud's, we had 2 very affordable breakfast -10€ and it is very complete, it easily lasted the day, it's really what we were looking for! I highly recommend, accompanied by a beer of course 👌

On y a pris le petit-déjeuner dans le cadre de notre voyage et c'est tout ce que l'on demandait : une bonne ambiance, des prix abordables, des portions correctes et savoureuses. Idéal pour y manger le matin, en savourant une bonne bière locale et un petit thé !

Love this pub, it's a common watering whole after work so keep your head down if you got something to say about your boss! Bag thieves beware, some hardy security will soon see you off.

The Globe on Marylebone Road is a solid choice for a casual pub experience in central London. The location is excellent, right near Baker Street and easy to reach. The menu features typical pub fare—burgers, fish and chips, and a decent selection of drinks, including a variety of beers. While the food is not extraordinary, it’s satisfying and reasonably priced. The service is friendly but can be slow when it’s busy. Overall, it’s a convenient, no-frills pub for a laid-back evening.

I started my journey with The Globe, what else if the place is famous and central. Ah, I would love beer and detective stories, but alas. However, come, come, don’t pass by.

It's a fairly off the shelf green king pub so is what you'd expect. It's pretty good for sport but as it's by baker street it can get extremely busy. Allows dogs.

We didn't arrive till half an hour before last orders. Lots of young lads dressed in fancy dress/ flags etc. Sat down to drink but then got moved outside by bouncers. Moved to a ledge and then got moved again so we were nearly stood on the steps to the underground/ pass. Wasn't really the best first visit but I can understand they probably have restrictions to remove people away from the pub for licensing and the neighbours after a certain time. Just felt like we was rushed from the moment we found a table to sit at.

Big thanks to the staff, who managed to find my lost 'kilt pin' and keep it safe! Thanks too for good pre-wedding drinks.

Food: - Stake and Ale Pie: 4/10 - crust was really hard, lacking meat - Steak Sandwich: 1/10 - little to no steak on a bread that fell apart immediately. - Sweet Potatoes Fries: 7/10 - solid fries cooked well. No seasoning which meant we could add as much salt/pepper as we wanted. Service: Top Notch and the staff were very friendly. Atmosphere: really cool vibe and get aesthetics.

My first time at a Shakespeare play and loved it.

Used to be my go to spot for a pint but I’ll never visit again.My last experience was horrible as I gave my order for two cocktails to the bartender and she started making just one,I tried to inform her that’s it an order for two but she ignored me for the first two times and the third time I tried telling her,she in a very unfriendly way said ‘you dont have to repeat it again and again it wont make any difference,I got your Order’ while I just wanted to put in effort to inform her of my order with the motive so that she wouldnt have to make it again separately but her offending response turnt my view for Globe upside down.I was a regular and I know it makes no difference to them loosing one single customer but you cant succeed in such a business with a behaviour that isnt people centric.You better take your life’s frustrations out on the sources it arises from rather than people who you serve at your job.

Ate here on our way to the open air theatre in Regents Park. Drinks were typical London Prices, food not a bad price & very enjoyable.

The Globe, located in the district of Marylebone, and steps away from The Sherlock Holmes Museum, is a very old pub with great atmosphere and food! My son ordered the Chicken Wings with BBQ sauce, and were, in his own words, "The best wings I've ever had!" I had a pint of bitter ale, and a small plate of Honey & Mustard Sausages. Delicious! My son and I liked The Globe so much we decided to return a few days later, despite it being a good distance from our hotel near the Tower of London! But when you find a place you like..... On our second visit, my son once again devoured the Chicken Wings, while I had an excellent Steak & Ale Pie with mashed potatoes and mushy peas. Very rich and tasty. I ended the meal with the BEST Sticky Toffee Pudding I have EVER had, on this side of the pond or the other! Sinful! Service both times was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere takes you back to another time, and it is easy to imagine Sherlock Holmes making The Globe his local! Highly recommended!

My son and I were here twice in one week during our vacation in London. Fantastic food and ale, and the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had. Great service and the atmosphere is like going back in time to the 1800s. Highly recommended!

Its sad to see a pub try and get rid of patrons towards the end of the evening like this establishment does. It closes early at every opportunity, staff driven of course, and must be missing out on thousands annually.. Besides that it's a really nice pub with a good vibe and seems to be well supported by the locals

Bar staff were slow to serve and happy to present pints of ale with inch of froth. When you are paying over £6.50 for a pint it's reasonable to expect a full pint. Bar staff reacted poorly to being asked to top up.

We were super tired and on the way home we saw this bar to have a good beer. The experience was great, good beer, good atmosphere, friendly people.

Larger busier pub, but surprisingly, it's not too touristy. Pub classics good, some of the small plates as well, like the chicken bites, but avoid the bao buns.

We are a family of 5 touring London. The website says this is a family friendly place and we reserved a table online and got a confirmation. Getting there they did not know about the reservation, didn't have a table for us and didn't make any special effort to accommodate us.

Went here for the first time yesterday to watch the england game and the atmosphere was amazing! I had so much fun. I want to give a special thanks to the bartenders for being so kind and quick with their service! They are also very talkative and overall makes the experience even better

One of my most favourite pubs in the capital. Despite being a Greene king- this is a great pub in the heart of the capital. The Globe serves up a greater selection of beer, cask and ale. I had a pint of Neck oil £7.60

Good food and drink at a reasonable price, next to canal

I see many reviews about how amazing this place is but I must have arrived at a bad moment. Just wanted a quick drink with a friend before my journey home. Staff member seemed a tad grumpy, they didnt have coffee or Malbec and the red wine I did decide to have seemed like the bottle had been open for a while and tasted terrible. Service was quick and I understand it is a busy tourist pub but wanted to draw attention to the issues I experienced

Watched the England game here, it's nice upstairs and plenty of space to sit down and watch the game. We ordered food which arrived promptly and tasted great. There is also plenty of food nearby that you can go for after
