The Globe, located in the district of Marylebone, and steps away from The Sherlock Holmes Museum, is a very old pub with great atmosphere and food! My son ordered the Chicken Wings with BBQ sauce, and were, in his own words, "The best wings I've ever had!" I had a pint of bitter ale, and a small plate of Honey & Mustard Sausages. Delicious! My son and I liked The Globe so much we decided to return a few days later, despite it being a good distance from our hotel near the Tower of London! But when you find a place you like..... On our second visit, my son once again devoured the Chicken Wings, while I had an excellent Steak & Ale Pie with mashed potatoes and mushy peas. Very rich and tasty. I ended the meal with the BEST Sticky Toffee Pudding I have EVER had, on this side of the pond or the other! Sinful! Service both times was friendly and efficient, and the atmosphere takes you back to another time, and it is easy to imagine Sherlock Holmes making The Globe his local! Highly recommended!

Ate here on our way to the open air theatre in Regents Park. Drinks were typical London Prices, food not a bad price & very enjoyable.

My son and I were here twice in one week during our vacation in London. Fantastic food and ale, and the best sticky toffee pudding I’ve ever had. Great service and the atmosphere is like going back in time to the 1800s. Highly recommended!

Pretty good, proper pub situated opposite Baker St Tube. Very popular great for a rendezvous with friends/colleagues.

Its sad to see a pub try and get rid of patrons towards the end of the evening like this establishment does. It closes early at every opportunity, staff driven of course, and must be missing out on thousands annually.. Besides that it's a really nice pub with a good vibe and seems to be well supported by the locals

Bar staff were slow to serve and happy to present pints of ale with inch of froth. When you are paying over £6.50 for a pint it's reasonable to expect a full pint. Bar staff reacted poorly to being asked to top up.

We were super tired and on the way home we saw this bar to have a good beer. The experience was great, good beer, good atmosphere, friendly people.

Larger busier pub, but surprisingly, it's not too touristy. Pub classics good, some of the small plates as well, like the chicken bites, but avoid the bao buns.

We are a family of 5 touring London. The website says this is a family friendly place and we reserved a table online and got a confirmation. Getting there they did not know about the reservation, didn't have a table for us and didn't make any special effort to accommodate us.

Went here for the first time yesterday to watch the england game and the atmosphere was amazing! I had so much fun. I want to give a special thanks to the bartenders for being so kind and quick with their service! They are also very talkative and overall makes the experience even better

One of my most favourite pubs in the capital. Despite being a Greene king- this is a great pub in the heart of the capital. The Globe serves up a greater selection of beer, cask and ale. I had a pint of Neck oil £7.60

Good food and drink at a reasonable price, next to canal

I see many reviews about how amazing this place is but I must have arrived at a bad moment. Just wanted a quick drink with a friend before my journey home. Staff member seemed a tad grumpy, they didnt have coffee or Malbec and the red wine I did decide to have seemed like the bottle had been open for a while and tasted terrible. Service was quick and I understand it is a busy tourist pub but wanted to draw attention to the issues I experienced

Watched the England game here, it's nice upstairs and plenty of space to sit down and watch the game. We ordered food which arrived promptly and tasted great. There is also plenty of food nearby that you can go for after

You may have to wait for the food, but it was worth it. Service slower. Can only be ordered at the bar.

Perfectly ran… george who was behind the bar and who I believe to be the manager… very professional and polite. Couldn’t praise George anymore… Great work and I believe the place would struggle without him! Keep it up

They close the kitchen early, they don't allow food to be brought in from another place in a rude way (other friendlier places allow it), they leave the tables dirty for the new customer that arrives. No wonder it had a low grade.

Deceptively small pub considering how it looks from outside. But otherwise good selection of beers, small outdoor area.

Such a great place! We stumbled upon this place to get out of the rain and are so glad we did! The staff are so lovely and accommodating, the food is delicious and the prices are very reasonable. Would absolutely recommend and will be returning in the future!

Good place for watching football lives

Globus no longer exists! The entire building was demolished for total reconstruction, opening planned for 2025.

The bar service was underwhelming. Having said that, the rest of the experience was spectacular! Exceeded even my highest expectations. You’d have to absolutely hate live theater and Shakespeare to not love this, and even then you’d probably say “okay, that was pretty good.” We got the best seats in the house with the cushion add on. About $100 each. But for just $12 or so you can stand right in front of where we sat. Sure you have to stand for the whole show (3 hours), but at least you get to see it. We will go back to see a show here every time we visit London. Few bucket list items make a repeat showing on the list but this will be one. Pictures taken may 1. So it gives you an idea of the ambiance as the sun sets. Taken from our seats, first tier, first row, middle section. No photography allowed during the show.

I traveled to The Globe pub to meet a friend. The food and drink ware lovely, and so was the service, with the bar man delivering it to our table upstairs The globe pub is situated opposite Baker street tube station. It is a traditional but modern pub over two levels. With toilets and a private hire room down from the ground floor.

Location is wonderful. Enjoyed the sunny afternoon with an IPA and tasty bites.

Horrible, cold, grey haired young man working at the bar. Absolutely dire customer service skills and doesn’t deserve a customer facing job. Would reccomend to anyone. Ruined the atmosphere and didn’t stay for longer.

The pubs nice but miserable and rude bar staff especially the bloke

The customer service was good up until I went up to get a second round of drinks and ordered with the blond Eastern European bar lady. She charged me more than the first round, which was the exact same order. When I pulled her up on that, she became quite aggressive and continuously fought her corner. I won’t be coming back here as she made both myself and friends feel very uncomfortable.

The Globe is what I would consider a typical, established London restaurant. It is in a highly touristy area very near the Beatles store, Sherlock Holmes Museum and Madame Tussauds but when we went for lunch there was no wait. At first we were a little confused because there no one came to take our order. We then learned that you choose what you want and either order from your phone or step up to the bar and the bartender will place the order for you. They offered a Gin Bramble on the menu (my favorite drink!) but it was just okay. Other brambles that I have had contained fresh blackberries and mint but this one seemed to just be a flavored spritzer. So the drink was disappointing but my meal of fish and chips was excellent. My husband really enjoyed his shepherd's pie. The bathrooms are downstairs but they do have a handicapped accessible bathroom on the main floor. Since I don't do stairs well, I used that one. I've certainly seen cleaner, nicer bathrooms but it served the purpose and was easy to access.

What a find! My friend and I happened upon The Globe by chance... The staff were warm and friendly, and indeed we had a bit of craic with Mr Kosovo.... A truely lovely man. I was absolutely thrilled to discover that today was the debut day of the gluten free menu. Being coeliac, I was delighted with the choice and indeed the prices were very reasonable. Good for you all in the globe... We'll be back.

Arrived on a Saturday afternoon, there were screens showing the rugby so it was pretty busy but i was able to get a seat/table. They have a good selection of beers/ales etc, staff were friendly.

Came here for lunch on St Patrick's Day with family. Very nice atmosphere and staff very friendly and helpful. One of my party is in wheelchair & was accommodated easily with a standard level table being bought over as downstairs the tables are higher level. Fish & chips were amazing as was their steak toastie & Beyond Meat burger. Everything was fresh & tasty. One of my family has shellfish allergy and when ordering the bar attendant checked with kitchen if what we were ordering would be safe & was confirmed that would have been. Updated March 2024. Came back & very disappointed with the sandwich. I ordered the chicken & bacon sandwich which says om menu it's made with chicken breast & streaky bacon with coleslaw on sourdough bread. It came as all mixed together on what looked like cheap white supermarket bread. . Other food that others in my party had was fine

I had the great pleasure of visiting The Globe for a 21st birthday party where the upper floor had been reserved for the event. The staff were brilliant; everyone was looked after and treated with respect. Drinks were served without fuss and food delivered promptly. The food was good and exceeded my expectations and was commented on by everyone who'd eaten. I have no reservations in recommending the place and thanks to the staff for a great night. Been in this pub lots of times but the first time I'd eaten here!! Me and my friend came in here in the morning for a few beers before going off to the football. The bar staff were all very friendly and served us very quickly. We headed off to the football and eventually made our way back to try the food. So glad I did!! I had a rarebit burger and it was delicious. Cooked to perfection and the sauce was amazing!! Absolutely love this pub and the atmosphere it has. Definitely be back soon

Close to the Marylebone train station. It has a second floor with a mini bar and also some tables outside. Nice place to meet friends and have some drinks while planning where to go next in London.
