That was some joke jerk pork!! Better for them to tell me that it finished, instead they gave me end cuts with bone and gristle plus it had no flavour. Bloody poor pathetic excuse for Jamaican cookery. I won’t try them again. Waste of £16, I would’ve been better going to McDonald’s

We were passing by and saw that the guys have a fresh chicken doner ready to be cut. I popped in and asked for two wraps with first cut of fresh chicked doner. Guy said its fine, he will do it. There was few other customers and I saw that the guys who worked there had some chicken from previous skewer. I've asked the guy again to make 2 wraps with fresh cut. He said fine. After my wraps were done I saw that one of two guys who worked there started cutting the first cut from fresh chicken. I asked him third time if he made my wraps with fresh, first cut chicken and he confirmed that he did. Obviously, when I sat down to eat the wraps with my daughter, we discovered that it was an old chicken and not the first cut I've asked. I went to the counter and showed the guy that it was not what I have asked. Instead of saying sorry when he was caught lying, he started acting like an idiot! Started shouting to give the wraps back, nearly through the money at me and tried to put the blame on my like I don't know what I want! Absolutelly appaling behaviour. I will never go back there after being treated like this!

We visited this place because of its history, as it is a pub that was frequented by Charles Dickens, as well as other literary celebrities. The atmosphere of the place is old London, the beers are good and so is the service. We found the food a little expensive, but my companions enjoyed the traditional kidney pudding and the fish anda chips.

Came here for a break whilst starting away with work. Starter was something I'd never seen before, Tempura sea herb. Plate full of tasty goodness, if you're from the North, it's like batter scraps but with sea herbs inside. Main was fish and chips with everything you would expect. Only mild downside is the fish was double battered so very greasy and puffed up with just a normal to small fish inside. Was like taking someone home and finding out she has chicken fillets down her top after the big reveal. Service was great, place was great
