Food was incredible and the vibe was so chilled! Would definitely recommend!

We only had drinks but good old fashion pub inside. Welcoming and easy to find a seat and relax with a drink.

Had a fantastic Sunday roast here, I had the Caribbean chicken roast option which had a really nice spicy twist to a traditional roast, full of flavour, juicy and tender with roasted potatoes and veggies. The atmosphere after the renovation is cosy and inviting, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a roast in such a central location. The staff were absolutely lovely. Will definitely be back!

We ordered the chicken roast dinner on a Sunday and it only came with 4 potatoes for the 3 of us. I also asked for no veg and the food still came with veg

Great Pub. Service was very friendly and food was served rather fast. We loved the cauliflower bites. Crowd is more on the quiet side which is nice after a stressful day. Would definitely recommend and will come again.

Friendly staff and a nice welcome to a formerly scrappy 1960s pub with a boujie face lift. Apart from the usual issue in the UK these days with people taking untrained aggressive dogs to pubs, it was a good atmosphere with a relaxed group of punters. Football was on the screens so a destination for sports fans. The food was actually really good but it did take over an hour for the mains to come. Oh well, more time for Guiness. As I say, nice staff, good pub in general, worth a go.

The food was top tier, love the carribean cuisine that's on offer. It's full of flavour and the portions are quite large too. The vibe in the place is great to with good music and beautiful designed scenery.

Lovely experience at the Rising Sun! We just stopped in on our way to Victoria, then we stayed for the football, then we stayed for the chicken wings which were awesome. Vlad was really sweet and brought us over a sample of the fish and chips too and those mushy peas (with mint) were absolutely gorgeous. Fully recommend.

I visit frequently since I run a shop nearby, and I must admitI’m hooked on their warm, freshly served pork crackling! Their kitchen is outstanding, and the food is absolutely delicious. I’ve been working my way through the menu, and the Sunday roast is an absolute must-try. They also have great outdoor spaces, including a lovely beer garden. It’s the perfect place to hang out—highly recommended!

Dirty toilets rude staff gone down hill to dark

Food was incredible, pork belly was excellent, meat just falling apart, cauliflower cheese was tasty with perfect crumbs on the top, great roast dinner. Second meal we had was fried chicken burger, chicken was tender and juicy,great batter and accompanied by fresh tomato,lettuce and cucumber. Portions are more than enough and prices are fair.

A quiet cosy pub, the bar staff seem decent, but the real stand out was the food. Chef Thomas knows how to put together a Sunday roast. He came out personally to give us recommendations and happily gave us extra gravy when asked. The portion sizes are very decent for the price and the food was delicious. We will definitely be back again.

Asked for gin lemonade but got tonic then got coke with gin barman not happy even though it was his fault .

Dark inside, a good selection of keg beers the availability of any cask seems to vary but worth an occasional visit. Food was available and I could smell fish but I wasn't hungry.

Amazing pub, great selections of drinks and margaritas are on point. The atmosphere is amazing, facilities such as bathrooms are clean. There’s always something on in regards to sports and staff are super friendly as welcoming. The place is decorated nicely and it’s gives cosy vibes.

They ask for reviews, so here goes. The bar girl has got a bit of an attitude which is not pleasant. The food menu does not match what you pay and its 4 quid for a pint of lemonade. That might be normal here but not where I come from( and I livein a city bigger than this). Encourage me to come back? No chance. That is 14 British pounds of tacos. Eff off!

Insanely over priced. £40 for a bottle of white wine that'll cost you £8 in Tesco. Daylight robbery. Also the kinda pub you walk into and all the locals stop talking and stare.

Much nicer now they have taken the leap and painted it darker colours.

Wholesome Experience! As someone that gets very anxious navigating London alone, this pub was the perfect pit stop for me to calm down and reset before getting my coach home. The staff were absolutely lovely and made me feel so welcome (which, sadly, seems to be a rare experience these days)! I'm very happy to have found this spot, and I won't hesitate to pop by the next time I travel. Thank you so much!

Fantastic bar that is tucked away in a very central location. Great selection of drinks, service was excellent, and sports were on but not infringing on the overall atmosphere. Lovely to sit outside either at the picnic tables out front or in the back enclosed garden. Loved the little library section inside with comfy seating. Will definitely return again!

Popped in on way back to air bnb. Found the bar to be clean with friendly staff and the wine was good. Lots of tvs if you in to football. It was loud but we didn’t care as we enjoyed the match!

I would actually rate this pleasant and unassuming pub as 3.5 stars - but trip advisor doesn't give that option. Having eaten a large afternoon tea earlier in the day we just required somewhere to have a quiet drink and a chat in comfortable surroundings, without feeling the need to order any food. This pub fitted the bill perfectly. Prices seem average for the area. Overall, a pleasant evening.

Tired staff are not happy, Saturday. bad service the wine glass they don't have a glass. there is no wine glass He told me he didn't have any wine glasses. but he charged me like a glass of wine I have been there many times but this is the first time that the overall service is bad. what a shame I had a very bad time but of course that has no reward

Hadn't been here in 10 years or so. Used to be a proper pimlico working class community pub until the developers tore down ebury estate. Went in to meet a friend and was charged £7.45 for one beer, absolute robbery how can you do that to people, insanely priced, seems to a bit a very yuppy pub now, I mean who else can afford that. Beer garden needs a lot of work doing but front outside was good.

Nice looking pub and lovely couple of benches outside at the front to sit at on a warm day but £7.40 for a pint of Moretti in any location is just too much in my opinion (July ‘23), plus it tasted hugely ‘off’. Wanted to take it back to exchange for something else but the barman was standing on the other side of the bar, laughing and joking with the regulars, so didn’t feel comfortable doing so. Too expensive to give another go for a while.

The Rising Sun Belravia is an amazing pub, walking distance to Victoria with super friendly staff and a lovely beer garden. The pub has a cozy feel, with beautiful hanging baskets. The outdoor area is great for chilling out with friends.

The website is not a representation of what you will receive. I would not go back, nor would I recommend. Steer clear of this venue’s food offering. I can only presume the people leaving good reviews have never eaten decent food.

Nice enough pub but has the flat roof, estate vibe. I don't mind that but some will.

Well.. not a bad place, quite cozy and a bit out off the way, but the food is not the best… even for a pub!! some of the worst onion bajis I ever had in my life, spicy wings were not spicy at all, just came with a chilli sauce.. and almost no salt at all in the coating. The lamb curry was alright.. better than the rest. They only serve Indian food now, so the previous food pictures are outdated. Discretionary service charge 12.5 % on top of their prices makes it a lot for what you’re getting.. but this is London Victoria.

Unfortunately, I was very disappointed with experience at the Rising Sun. I booked table for food and drinks for 5 ppl at 6pm. We tried to order before 7pm and were told that kitchen is super busy and they're not accepting orders for the next 30 minutes which everyone understood. We waited nearly 45 minutes to be told that actually kitchen run out with the most of the dishes? That's unacceptable. We booked a table in advance (didn't just walked in), waited, ordered more drinks just to wait 45 minutes for nothing. All 5 ppl left starving and disappointed.

Very poor service. Expensive pints without a reason. £7 for a pint. The burger we order was burnt and we returned it back.

The beer was ok, a bit overpriced tbh but the food was literally a waste of money! We ordered burgers but they were burned and the lady refused to remake our meal!

It cost me 23 pounds for 3 pints when i asked the prices I was told there is a £2.20 service charge. Never have I been charged a service charge to stand and order from the bar absolutely shocking I won’t be returning. Or if I do will ask to pour my own beer to avoid service costs !

The Indian food is OK. Service slow and food came out at different times. Tasty Indian but the burger was a teeny mini burger with a stale (hard as a rock) bun, no chips on the side. We ordered a serve of chips which were tiny. So in aussie dollars the Mini burger and mini serve of chips cost $30. Nice looking place but ruthless rip off.

Di fronte alla nostra reazione, ci viene detto che se vogliamo mangiare dobbiamo ordinare in cinque minuti. Servizio completamente assente: ci siamo dovuti alzare per ordinare e scegliere le birre, e addirittura ci siamo dovuti portare al tavolo le posate, i tovaglioli e le birre. Inoltre, abbiamo dovuto pagare subito, neanche fossimo in un fast food. Tra l’altro, inizialmente non ci avevano applicato lo sconto The Fork, che abbiamo dovuto richiedere espressamente. In generale, attenzione al cliente inesistente, nonostante il locale fosse semivuoto. Tutto questo è un peccato, perché nel complesso il cibo è ok e il locale è ben tenuto, sebbene non ricordi minimamente l’atmosfera indiana. A Londra si può trovare decisamente di meglio.

Nice little place to go for a couple of pints

Ther were late to open. One bartender in the whole pub. He did not even apologise for laye opining althouhh he saw me sitting outside and waiting. He was rude and unfriendly. He told me that the kitchen was closed. Altough it was supposed to be open he did not even apologise. Pint cost me £7.25.

Looking for some lunch in the area. This was a lovely surprise. Wonderful inspired take on Indian pub grub. Great pleasant service. A happy discovery

Overpriced purely down to the location. Not typical of a youngs pub. £7.50 for a pint of Neckoil. It's the tatty end of Victoria nothing special!

I used to love coming here when I worked on Buckingham Palace Road for a few years in the mid-2010s. Always quiet and away from prying eyes with a solid choice of beers and good lunchtime menu and even several outdoor tables. A top pub and something of a hidden gem.

Fantastic food and service here just now - lovely biryani, Punjabi nachos, Dilli fries and lamb bhuna burger were all delicious 😋. Good beer selections, mulled wine and a very nice space. 10 mins walk from Sloane Sq - highly recommended - it’s so quiet at the moment away from the shopping crowds.

Grabbed a chilli toastie, fries and a drink for a lunchtime snack. Tasted lovely. Place is very clean.
