Had a great dining experience at London Steakhouse. The food was absolutely delicious ,high quality and full of flavor. The staff were very friendly and attentive, which really added to the overall experience. They do run a tight schedule, so it’s best to stick to your booking time. One small thing to mention is the table setup in some areas, you’re seated side by side or at an angle instead of directly facing your dining partner. It’s a bit different, but still comfortable and intimate in its own way.

We got gifted this voucher for a three course meal and cocktails. Service was slow and appalling. Took 20 minutes before we were even greeted and asked our drinks. Poor quality food, wetherspoons style. Creamed potato was tasteless and dry like it had been microwaved. Portion sizes for mains were tiny! At the end they tried to charge us £30 extra including a cover charge and a £3 supplement charge for the sticky toffee pudding which wasn't mentioned on the dessert menu. Limited choices of cocktails so I ended up getting a coke instead and was told it wouldn't be charged, to later then be charged at the end. A 3 star restuarant at best... avoid this place!

We ate here on a very busy Saturday lunchtime service. We were given a voucher for The five course taster menu. When we arrived, our table was ready for us and we were given instructions as to how the service was going to be taken. We ordered wine and this was delivered swiftly. Within a few minutes our starter Was with us. Over the whole meal we felt well cared for with our glass being topped up without having to ask. On a separate note, unfortunately one lady diner was taken ill during our meal but the staff coped exceedingly well and the unfortunate diner was kept well Concealed by the staff and most diners were unaware of the incident and it did not spoil a very nice afternoon. Fortunately, the lady recovered after 15 minutes and was able to walk from the restaurant. All food served to us was fresh tasty and flavoursome if I were to book again I would ask for a table at the rear of the restaurant on the mezzanine level. There is a lift down to the restaurant for anyone in wheelchair et cetera as the restaurant is subterranean. All in all a very enjoyable afternoon with great service. Well done everyone!

Got a dinner reservation for 5pm to celebrate my partner’s birthday. We got in early, 4:45pm. Was seated at 5:30pm once the Maitre noticed I kept checking my watch. They asked to reseat after having already sat out table. Servers gave an off vibe. I felt like I was being looked down on. They also forgot to remove cutlery multiple times, forgot to bring the correct cutlery multiple times, served main 25 mins after collecting the starter plates, and dropped mains cutlery on myself. Twice. No apology, not even a cursory one. Not looking to be pampered, just respected a base level of respect. Food was good, albeit the steak doesn’t come with a main. Which is odd. Chicken was good but had burnt parts, uncertain if this was intended. Desert was subpar.

After being gifted a voucher and looking at the food online I expected a lot more. Although the staff on arrival were very nice he was busy rushing around and we had to wait a while to choose a drink. Ended up with a coke as they didn't have non alcoholic cocktail options which was a shame. First/second course of salmon belini and beetroot salad comes together and was disappointing, as you'll see from the images we seem to have got half the portion of others who also had vouchers?! We opted for the hamhock which was bland and tasted more like a tinned meat. Then the main, which at a steak restaurant that talks about the cuts of beef they use, you'd expect to be good...... unfortunately not. After getting over the shock of having to pay extra for sides unless you just wanted steak and sauce, we were presented with what looked like the driest cut of rump ive seen in a while, akin to something cooked up in a weatherspoons. The steak was tough, medium not medium rare and took some effort to cut even with the provided steak knife. The sauces weren't even nice and the creamed potatoes tasted like microwaved smash, the onions rings are still repeating on me now, 5 hours later, with the amount of grease in them, it even ran down my fork!! We waited 15 mins after mains were cleared to be given the desert options which was plonked on the table and then gave up waiting for anyone to ask what we wanted so left without it and paid at the desk! For an extra £30 charge we left feeling very underwhelmed and certainly wouldn't recommend it, we love to try new food places both in and out of London and there's far better options for a nice steak, good atmosphere and value for money!

We went for the 5 course virgin experience- the t&c's needed to be complied with to use this voucher code. The cocktails were very sweet and the champagne was delicious. We ended the night with a Irish coffee and a Scottish coffee which also went down a treat.

Well meal was only just ok was meant to be 5 courses but the portion was very small My steak was only just ok was very dry. The most annoying thing was the booking for the meal then everything was extra like vegetables, chips, potatoes etc which were not included, So you got a main course of steak on its own without anything which didn't seam right to me. The funny thing was they had to bring me three different knifes until they found a sharp one to cut my steak I said they better throw them in bin there Well used. Overall I only give 3 stars for a London based restaurant Yes I was hungry when I came out, would I take my business clients there I don't think so Also toilets are needing serious upgrades done.

Hmmm, so much for a voucher worth £45! We were given it by our son for a so-called special menu for two. Ok we went on a Saturday night but I can't see how anyone is going to be able to get a meal with the voucher. They say "take a seat at the bar" while waiting, it's a tiny grotty corner on the way to the toilets with 5 or 6 stools. Definitely don't bother arriving early to have a drink at the bar. We had a nice table and the service was great. However, when have you ever heard of a terrine being served without bread or toast - oh, yes! When the break costs an extra £4.50! My ribeye wasn't very good for £53, sinewy, fatty and all by itself on the plate, so I had to have veg (£8.50) and chips, supposedly homemade but not double or tripple fried and very flabby (£8.50 too!). The steak was not very good quality and I would definietly say don't bother. My wife's tornedos rossini was nice but the steak was tiny. That said it was very busy and bustly with a good atmosphere but way over-rated. I'd like to know the last time MPW set foot in the place as he really needs to look at bits and bobs.! The whole bill over £200 with the supposed "voucher for two" being knocked off of £45 so under £200. And a cover charge £1.50 (+service too 9.5%!) - what the hell is that all about? They'll say the linen, well when I go into a hotel they don't ask me to pay for the sheets! Does MPW want to emulate airbnb where they charge you for sheets - well, in that case, let us know and reduce your prices too. Definitely not worth it and wouldn't go again.

We had a truly wonderful lunch at London Steakhouse Co.! The atmosphere was elegant yet relaxed, and the service throughout was outstanding — friendly, professional, and very accommodating to small requests. To start, my boyfriend enjoyed the Soup of the Day — a smooth, rich sweet potato soup, and I had the Beetroot & Goat’s Cheese Salad, which was fresh, colourful, and beautifully paired with crunchy walnuts and vinaigrette. For mains, I chose the Centre-Cut Fillet Steak (7oz) and my boyfriend had the 9oz Fillet Steak — both cooked to perfection, tender, juicy, and full of flavour. The sides of roasted vine tomatoes and crispy fries complemented the steaks perfectly. We appreciated having the sauce served separately, allowing us to enjoy the full quality of the steaks. Although sorbet wasn’t listed on the menu, the team kindly accommodated our request and brought us a delicious raspberry sorbet — refreshing, fruity, and the perfect light ending to the meal, which we both thoroughly enjoyed. My boyfriend finished with an Irish coffee without cream, which they also happily adjusted for him. It was wonderful to see the staff so willing to accommodate and personalize the experience. We’re already looking forward to returning soon — London Steakhouse Co. offers exceptional food, impeccable service, and a memorable atmosphere. Highly recommend!

We had a virgin voucher for two, specifically the Champagne celebration experience three course meal with sides. We could only book 48 hours in advance which meant it was hard to book around other experiences we had included in our voucher which was the Shard visit. This made it hard to organise our trips around this steakhouse meal, but luckily we got a table. We accidentally found ourselves initially at the wrong steakhouse, note it is NOT the one in the Hilton hotel… On the voucher it said it was Marco Pierre White Steakhouse, but it is London Steakhouse for the meal. We arrived 30 minutes late which they accommodated as we rang up, and they sat us at the bar whilst waiting to be seated. The selection of drinks was somewhat eye-watering regarding the cost, especially for a 3-Star rated steakhouse - appreciate this is London however. After deciding not to have a drink, we were sat at our table along the back wall which was quite crammed and very close to other people. We had to move the table out to fit in, and the waiters kept knocking into the people next to us. Thankfully our champagne arrived promptly, and we picked our food from the set menu which was very limited in terms of not adding additional supplement charges, but the waiter explained the menu well. Our lamp on the table also did not work which ruined some of the ambience. We received our starters after ordering maybe 2 minutes before which was super speedy, this was the salmon with 2 mini pancakes and the soup of the day. The portion of the salmon was similar to that of a kids meal, which was more of an appetiser than a starter. The soup was hot enough to eat right away, and did have good flavour and consistency. The mains we ordered were the 7oz Rump with peppercorn sauce and the braised boeuf bourguignon. The rump was medium rare, however hard to cut into with the knives provided, leaving my wrists and the plate destroyed… It did taste OK however, and wasn’t chewy despite how hard it was to cut into. Would be good if they provided proper steak knives for a steakhouse. The bourguignon seemed somewhat microwaved, composing of quite a few fatty lumps of grizzle - school dinner style stew and mash. The desserts we had the chocolate mousse and the lemon posset - probably the highlight of the entire 3 course meal. They also asked if there was any special occasion for the meal which they then surprised my partner with a sparkler which was nice, along with “congratulations” written in chocolate sauce on both our plates which is a nice touch. These tasted amazing. We also had the apron given to us, which was included as part of the experience. I highly recommend if you eat here, buy the virgin voucher for more than 50% off the meal we had, as we certainly would not pay £200+ for this meal including the charges like 9.5% service charge and a charge of £1.50 each just to have a table. If I am honest, I would prefer to eat at miller and carters for half the price, better quality food. The waiters were lovely, but the food we found let it down despite the venue being completely booked. Would I go again, probably not? But it’s an experience for a London priced steakhouse.

This is a scam. We were given a Virgin experience day voucher as a gift which included this restaurant for a meal worth £175, down to £65 which sounded great and a drink thrown in. This meal was awful. The started of three slices of beetroot, three walnuts and the tiniest piece of goats cheese I’ve even seen delivered on a plate of food for consumption. The plate had clearly been preprepared as it clearly had been sitting for hours. The fish cake was incredibly basic and my partner had rump steak. At £175 per person you’d think they’d offer fillet or at least sirloin. The desert was a tiny pot of lemon posseg again hardly a luxury meal. The servers were attentive after we had sat for 25 minutes to place our order. I would never go back here again as the meal value was way way less than what was put in front of us and no where near worth £65 never mind the £175 they advertise.

The food was great, we had a 5 course meal voucher and a cocktail - we thought it was exceptionally good value for money. You cannot get an average pub meal with drinks for £50 these days, so a meal for 2 with 5 courses and a cocktail is fabulous. There are additional costs, but what do you expect when you order a nice glass of champagne and a fillet steak. The restaurant needs to make money somehow. My partner and I went for a 5 course meal here, a special offer of £55 for 2 people. This also included a cocktail - out of a choice of 3. The cocktail was fine but the first two 'courses' weren't!! Two bread plates each were produced, one with a blini on which sat a postage stamp size piece of smoked salmon - literally one mouthful - and on the other, four very thin slices of tasteless beetroot with a sugar cube size of goats cheese and a walnut. These were not courses, they were barely a taster. Next course was a slight improvement, a small pot of lovely mackerel and watercress pate with a piece of toast. The fourth was a piece of steak, just that, nothing with it. My partner had a small amount of a very nice beef bourguignon plus a couple of spoonfuls of mashed potato. Finally a wonderful lemon posset or a choice of two sorbet flavours. I realise this is London and I can imagine the overheads are horrendous when running a restaurant but seriously! How much does it cost to make the meal just slightly more substantial? Just a bit more generous with the two starters for example, garnish at the very least and a piece of smoked salmon that was large enough to taste (I only have their word that it was smoked salmon, there wasn't enough to get a even a slight taste) . I completely understand that it's hard at the moment with costs increasing all the time but we won't be back, whereas had it felt like a good value offer we would have returned again and again.

Miserable experience. A friend kindly paid £59 for a two course and cocktail for two gift experience at the "Marco Pierre White" restaurant. We ordered none of the dishes which required a supplement, yet still paid £40 on top of what our friend paid. The £40 was for water, bread (for the soup) and two very unspecial sides (because, apparently, the two course meal comes with nothing else!) - plus some not-great service. At no point were we told just how expensive all of these, often free, extra items were going to be. I was given a voucher for a five-course meal with a cocktail for my birthday. We went on Sunday, expecting the restaurant to be nearly empty on Sunday evening in the City - boy, were we wrong! The place was packed. There was no choice for the first two courses , so my partner has my beetroot as I just don't like it. The third course was delicious - I had mackerel and watercress pate, and my partner had the ham hockey terrine. I could easily have swapped mine for his! For the main, I had rump steak, after all, it is the Steakhouse, and my partner had the fishcake with spinach and a poached egg. He was delighted with his choice however my steak bled a lot of the plate - meaning it had not been rested enough, which was disappointing. Chips and vegetables were chargeable which wasn't an issue, however the size of the chips for two was quite daunting! For dessert I had the lemon posset which was fabulous and my partner had the brandy snaps. The service was excellent but as the staff don't wear na.w badges it's difficult to praise anyo e individually. Overall I would say it was definitely a good present!

The negative reviews on this seem unfair, we had a virgin experience voucher for 5 courses and a cocktail and there were no negatives to speak of. We were seated at our table at exactly the time of our reservation, and immediately we were offered our drinks and had the menu explained to us, with explicit emphasis on any surcharges or extras not included in our package. The cocktails were fantastic and even at the table a food preference was accomdated and changed with a few minutes notice. Our server George was absolutely fantastic and attentive and every course was excellent as well. We paid for extras such as wine which were not crazy expensive and high quality with no complaints. The only complaint is that there's a £20 non refundable reservation charge which is nowhere to be seen on the bill, and if you are on a virgin deal and you want to change steaks, be ready for £30 per person extra. Overall fantastic and George was great. With the experience it's great just don't expect it to be free!

Not a serial negative reviewer but this was a disappointing experience. As others, we came as a result of being bought an experience voucher, so was expecting a limited menu with supplementary items as the menu was sent in advance. A lukewarm welcome was followed by the promise of a waiter coming to explain the menu. This didn’t happen - I believe we had the manager serving us (later enquired that his name was Grant; didn’t introduce himself) and he was awful. Probably the worst service we have had in a London restaurant at this price point. Have to say the other service staff of surrounding tables and the commis were very good. Never before have I asked for the service charge to be removed, but here we did. The food was ok. We had starters and dessert off the set menu which were fine. We paid a supplementary £50 for a chateaubriand to share which was tiny (definitely not 16oz) and the sides were also extortionate at £8.50 each. Supplementary food was also average - the creamed spinach was tasteless and the chips were… chips. For £8.50. Overall - if you are paying, go somewhere else. If you get bought a voucher, eat off the set menu and have appropriate expectations. Wouldn’t recommend.

Went here on the back of a virgin experience and very glad we did. Service was great and food fantastic, the sides were a bit expensive but even paying for some chips and a service charge, the overall bill wasn't bad. Great atmosphere, fast service and really nice staff, worth going.

Came with voucher for set 3 course meal, disappointing to find that a lot of the dishes come with a supplement. Food was nothing to write home about and side dishes very expensive, mushrooms lukewarm, chips which we paid £12 for were small ends of potatoes mainly. You would have thought ordering a main meal you would get a potato dish and veg but no had to pay extra for that. We also had to pay a cover charge and a £20 supplement to eat on a Friday, and then service charge on top. Not a cheap night 🙈 Service was good from staff who were very attentive just food and supplement prices which let it down

We had the 3 course meal package with the view from the Shard included. The staff were attentive but the food was average. The prawn cocktail had about 4 small prawns dangling off the side with a bit of chopped up lettuce and Marie Rose sauce with 3 tiny chunks of avocado inside. Not memorable at all. The mackerel pate had been food processed with a green herb so came out like a green paste and my girlfriend said it did not taste particularly good. The steak that was included was rump and was OK but again nothing special. Had we gone for a nicer cut or larger size it would have cost a lot more. The dessert was sticky toffee pudding and was ok but did not stand out. Considering the meal was ‘included’ practically every dish had a supplement on it. Who eats a chunk of steak on its own with nothing else? The chips were extra, the spinach was extra (£8.50) for a bit of food processed spinach! The mushrooms were tepid and cost extra. No grilled vine tomato’s included or anything and the sauce just about wet the steak and was average. Certainly not worth the money and wouldn’t return as have had much better local pub grub at half the price. The maitre D was welcoming although he did look me up and down on arrival! Sir, you have a messy mullet on your head and are in no place to look your customers up and down! Food standard did not match the cost but could not fault the staff.

We had the chateaubriand which was nice but still very slightly undercooked. The smoked salmon pancakes, beetroot and goats' cheese salad and creamed spinach were also acceptable. However the olives, potato croquettes and sourdough bread all look like they'd been purchased and prepared with little care. The maitre d' did remove this 3 items from the bill for us and all the staff were very friendly but, in terms of value for money, this restaurant is nowhere near up to the standard that you would expect from the price. Marco Pierre White should be ashamed of himself.

Our children bought us a voucher for a visit to the Shard with dinner for four. The cost of the voucher was £65 each. The dinner was (we thought) covered by the voucher , but with the extras ended up costing us a lot of money on top. My husband and son had the 7oz steak which came with a choice of sauce but if you wanted anything else to go with it, it was all at an extra cost of £8.50 per small dish. My son had a bowl of just salad leaves with a dressing , mash potato and a portobello mushroom at a total extra cost of £25.50,. My husband also ordered the steak with a side of fries and red cabbage at an extra £17.00. With the total cost of other extras for myself and my daughter it made the experience very expensive on top of the cost of the vouchers . Most people would order the extras as you wouldn’t just eat a steak on its own!! Would we go again, probably not, it was very overpriced!

I was bought a 3 course lunch and cocktail voucher for my birthday. The service was impeccable and the food gorgeous. I had the ham hock terrine, rump steak and treacle tart. Everything was delicious. Only slight gripe is that it looked like everyone who had a voucher was seated in a separate area of the dining room which cheapened the experience a little but not a complaint really as everything else was amazing

Took my mum here for a birthday treat, from my 17 year old son. Everything was wonderful. We arrived early and the seated us in 5 minutes, the staff were polite and attentive but not overbearing. The food was amazing, we had the set menu starting with the carribean punch, it reminded me of the 80s when we all drank Malibu mum loved it. Mum had the Mackrell pate and I had the beetroot and goats cheese salad for starters, then we both had beef bourguignon the beef was so tender it melted in your mouth, then I had a chocolate mousse very rich and tasty. Mum had a Irish coffee, it was very strong but she managed to finish it. Amazing experience

FANTASTIC EVENING! Waiting for the taxi i decided to have a look at the reviews and was so disappointed so I geared myself up for a big altercation at the end. Everything was absolutely superb from the service to the food. The ambience was warm and inviting and the staff worked well together ensuring prompt and professional service all night! The portion sizes are quite small (perfect for me personally) but I wouldn't say value for money unless u have purchased a red letter day experience. Everyone that has a gripe with these Virgin deals etc.. needs to report to them as they are the ones misadvertising the product not the actual resturant. I will post a copy of the menu so u can see for yourself.. the water at £6.50 wasn't on the menu but we already had the heads up not to order. All round fab experience for us.

I was given a Virgin Experience voucher for the £69 set menu here. The food was delicious but there are a lot of hidden charges they don't tell you about. We were asked if we wanted water, we were not told it was £6•50 a bottle. We were informed that anything extra to be paid had supplement next to it. The waiter encouraged us to have sides with our meal, however, he did not inform us that this was an extra cost. You really have no choice but to have extras either as a lump of steak on its own is not very appetising so you would order chips. Ordering onion rings, and red cabbage for me, wouldn't have happened if we knew it was extra as well. I knew the coffee liqueur had to be paid for as the tasting menu was just for the food and a cocktail. But... getting a bill for £78 left quite a nasty taste in the mouth and spoilt what had been, so far, a lovely experience. If you had only clarified what was included and what was not we wouldn't have had such a shock. It is something maybe you should think about, being just a little bit more honest with your customers. Such a shame as the food really was delicious....

Great service and the restaurant was full, so it was a nice atmosphere, we were there as we had a Virgin experience voucher for Xmas However the food was so disappointing. We had the 5 course menu, the steak was ok, but the rest was very average. Even the toffee pudding was a disappointment as quite dry, the lemon posset overly sharp. Wine and sides are way overpriced for what they are. Staff we though very welcoming

Disappointed at the management of this place I arrived to this restaurant with great expectations but was left with a bitter manager who was busy but unbelievably rude. The staff generally were good but the manager had not even bothered to look at us when serving us or even throwing the receipt at us. In addition the total of our bill was wrong and when I asked about it he did not even bother apologising. The food was cold and I'm disappointed considering this is a 'Marco pierre' restaurant

Nice evening. Lovely atmosphere, great service, good food, a touch overpriced. Feel like you're paying for the name. I.e. steaks come with nothing, +£8.50 for a small portion of chips is a lot given the spuds cost 20p.... sticky toffee pudding v avg, lukewarm, inconsistently baked, bitter toffee sauce..... overall OK.

Honestly wasn't expecting much. These celebrity endorsed places are often disapointing. However... We were greeted by Jose. He was the perfect maitre de. Impeccable manners, quietly funny, and very attentive. The waiters were sweet and attentive. Nothing was a problem. We had a voucher that we were gifted, and (again) in the past this hasn't always worked well, not here, everyone in that room was treated as if they were the only guests in the resturant. The food was delicious! The blue cheese was to die for; and they make really good cocktails... really good! At the end they gave me a dessert for my birthday, it was so sweet. I 100% recommend this resturant. I have no negatives at all, not a single thing was wrong... even the people sitting on the table next to us were lovely!

We dined on a voucher, given as a gift. The food was well presented, with good flavours - mackerel pate/ham hock terrine, fish/tornedos, treacle tart/cheese plate. But price versus portion is poor, even despite their 'vibe' being haute cuisine. Service was good, but too fast for us. Atmosphere is good, although we had to use phone torch to see menu, which seemed to unsettle the manager. There is a 'booking fee' for the table, plus cover charge, plus service charge and then supplements. We definitely felt like voucher scum and unfortunately rather than drawing us back or recommending to others, we would do the opposite, so an opportunity missed, if that is the plan with allowing vouchers.
