I ordered the Korean chicken with fries and a drink. It was great. The fries were hot and covered in the sauce (with slight hint of heat) keeping the taste and the structure of the fries was truly amazing. I felt the chicken batter was too thick. But overall it was great. I will definitely be coming in the next few days for breakfast and snacks.

Went here with with my daughter on Saturday as an away fan supporting everton for the fulham match. The staff were brilliant totally happy no messing really polite although they were really up against it with the queues so thankyou

Great place but almost too busy

Set on the river Thames by putney bridge. Nice atmosphere. Very clean. Seating indoors and outdoors. Nice walk along the Riverside. Nice for a summers day. Unfortunately the day I visited the kitchen was closed indefinitely

It’s a decent pub with good beer and acceptable food.

My friend and I decided to travel from Harold Wood to Putney for a day out including lunch at the Rocket as we had enjoyed a previous visit, unfortunately we were very disappointed. It was my turn to order lunch and I gave my table number first and then as far as I am concerned I ordered two Scampi and chips and was asked if I wanted peas, mushy peas or beans and confirmed peas. I ordered one lemonade with no ice and queried which ciders were available but decided to go with a soft drink after all, Diet Coke as sugar free lemonade is not available. I paid by card. Whilst we waited for our meals a number of bags of rubbish were taken past us including one containing waste food which we thought was definitely out of order. A member of staff approached our table with two fish and chip meals which I said were not ours as I’d ordered Scampi and Chips, he returned to the kitchen area and we could here some conversation among staff, then the member of staff who took my order came and said I had said yes when he repeated my order but I didn’t recall this.My friend said to look at the receipt but I said that you’re not given one these days, my friend and I often visit Weatherspoons, but the member of staff abruptly said you can ask for one, I don’t feel I should have to. We felt that we had to accept the meals but to be honest when they were placed before us they looked like one portion of fish had been sliced lengthways in to two and covered in batter and that is what it tasted like. So disappointing and unlike any other Weatherspoons I have been in. We popped to the Ladies before we left and another lady entered and passed a comment that there was no food available as there was a problem with the kitchen, perhaps that explains why we were treated, in our opinion so poorly but does not excuse rude staff and poor standard of food. We will not be returning to the Rocket.

Absolutely incredible food, brilliantly affordable prices and definitely worth the money!! And right next to the river so it's absolutely beautiful!! And very very hard working staff! The place has aged like fine wine it just gets better and better THR best spoons I have been to it's brilliant!!!

Wethies (cheap, real ales) with picture windows overlooking the river Thames. Large riverside terrace in a pedestrian area. Great on a sunny day. Nice riverside path walk in both directions. Residents parking zone mon-sat till 630pm

By the river with plenty of choices of food and drinks.

Served me fizzy red wine and then said ‘it’s normal’ - no it isn’t!!

Lovely pub food tasty and service great.

Nice pub but I feel sorry for the staff at this pub, it’s very visible that management don’t treat the young staff members well and don’t give them a break which they are entitled to. I’ve overheard management speaking badly to some of the new staff and not communicating well, particularly to the young women bartenders. This puts me off visiting this pub when the staff are treated badly.

I was served by a lovely young lady in the pub last weekend, great service and very quick and friendly!

Llamé esta mañana para un desayuno. Servicio educado del tipo detrás de la barra al ordenar. Lamentablemente ambos desayunos salieron fríos, casi nadie en el local, ¿por qué es necesario precocinar hachís morenos, tomates etc y no mantenerlos calientes , los alimentos a esa hora del día deben cocinarse por encargo . Nos dimos cuenta de que algunos desayunos estaban listos y en la placa caliente esperando a ser sacado por hasta diez minutos, no hay personal alrededor aparte de los que guardan la entrega de stock. Nadie despejando las mesas. Primera y última visita.

Sat outside and had a classic Wetherspoons breakfast and coffee - all in about £9 per person - bargain!

Great Wetherspoons overlooking Putney Bridge and the Thames

Decent Wetherspoon's pub just across the river from Putney Bridge Underground Station. Nine cask beers on handpump when I visited including a mild. Lots of outdoor seating some of it covered. Busy but not impossibly so before the Spurs game at Craven Cottage.

Riverside pub with outdoor seating. We were told to leave because we had a dog sitting with us outside. I can understand not wanting dogs inside if that’s your policy but totally ridiculous that walkers along the river can’t sit and have a drink outside with their dog. Go to the Boathouse pub next door. It’s nicer and same prices.

End of the barrel, managed to pour 2/3rds of a pint out, so I suggested I'd pay for a half instead of full pint. Duty manager Kieran said no I'd have to pay full pint for something so clearly short that even the inch of head was an inch off the top of the glass. So they poured it into a half glass, chucked the rest away. One of the more experienced members of staff was shaking his head in disbelief at this ridiculous decision, the younger guys laughing about it. Was told that if I said anything I should just leave. The only Spoons this has ever happened in - pathetic, appalling service.

Huge JD pub. Focus is on food, and it's really delicious although not gourmet of course. Usual JD menu.

Right on the river, a very nice location. The best thing about this place is the staff. Food is quite nice (breakfast is the best on the menu), but the staff make this place run smoothly and they are all very polite, even when rushed off their feet. Kids crayons and colouring sheets and a good kids menu

Best weatherspoons in the country! The view of the Thames is spectacular from the large windows and the place is pleasant and spotlessly clean. We had breakfast which was delicious and great value for money. The staff are friendly and welcoming and the service quick and efficient. I would highly recommend The Rocket over any more expensive establishments nearby.

I mean it’s a Weatherspoon didn’t expect any service but staff in this branch is quite lovely tho.

El personal fue grosero y se negó a servir a mi amiga que es una etnia y sexualidad diferente por ser trans y decidió negarse a tomar su identificación y dijo que no tienen que decir una razón por la que nos echaron. El personal fue irrespetuoso sexista y racisit especialmente este hombre con la camisa blanca en las fotos. Ninguno pudo decirnos por qué. Estaba borracho o ruidoso. No puedo creer que este sea el tipo de personal que contratan en este lugar. La gerencia debe pasar por alto y ser re-entrenada en no violar la ley al no pedir identificación como lo hacen otros pubs. Cuando nos fuimos continuaron intimidando al subir y reírnos de nosotros tuvimos que volver a discutir con ellos por cómo nos estaban tratando.

The staff was rude refused to serve my friend who’s a different ethnicity and sexuality for being trans and decided to refuse to take their ID and said they don’t have to say a reason why they kicked us out. they had given drinks to other of my friends without asking ID even tho they was younger. The staff was disrespectful sexist and racisit especially this man with the white shirt in the photos. None of them could tell us on the reason why. Non of was drunk or loud. I can’t believe this is the type of staff that this place they hire. Management should over looked and be re-trained on not breaking the law by not asking for ID like how other pubs do. targeting one person on there background and sexuality is wrong. As we left they continued to intimidate by stairing and laughing us we had to go back in to argue with them for how they was treating us.

For the third time I have been disappointed with the delivery; Cold foods, good quality products,good cooked but freezing Cold!?; for breakfast!? Unacceptable! The Best Food services and Proper Hot decent food is in Hammersmith Wetherspoon in the small square,food market..the Best and very friendly staff Always!

What's not to love? Refillable tea, tasty good value food, lovely view, lovely staff. This has been a place to meet as a family for years. Highly recommend

We had a lunch in Rocket with a friend of mine. We have used the app to order some food and drinks. Service is very good and friendly. The food is tasty and reasonably priced for location. I had a jacket potato with tuna and salad on a side. It's a very good location overlooking the river Thames. Drinks a flowing, we had a fantastic time. Thank you to all the staff anc the manager. We will be back soon.

Variety on the menu, good value for money.

Stopped here for breakfast because I wasn’t told it was a JD Wetherspoon there were so many options to choose from for breakfast. I liked the refill hot drinks so I went for tea because on this day I knew I needed more than a cup of brew. The breakfast was delicious as I went for the meat option big breakfast. I got all items mentioned and they were served hot too with small butter sachets.

Myself and The Chemistry Teacher really enjoyed the afternoon spent in this riverside establishment. We managed to get a window seat and a view of the stunning River Thames. The service was great via the app. The toilets were beautifully clean. One of the male staff kept wanting to remove my refillable coffee cup, though, despite being asked to leave it alone.

Typical Wetherspoon, cheaper than everywhere else in the area . Went there late on Friday eve. Lads of students.

Service is very quick but food quality is very low

Visited 14.11.24 Ordered Chivken Korma and a pepsi x 2 but when it was served to us it was barely warm. After complaining they just heated it up and reserved it. When I complained further the manager refunded my payment, but only for the food not the soft drinks. When I pointed out how petty that was he said I had a vad attitude. Complained to head office but they did nothing say "Thanks for your input" Will never go there again.

Overall, it was a very nice place, just off the high street. There is plenty of seating, nice and clean. Breakfast arrived in a reasonable time. The only thing is the food could've been warmer. And my bacon was cold, everything else was only just warm, by the time I was almost finished it gone cold. It was my first visit here, used many wetherspoons before, and always been happy overall. Hopefully, they can warm the breakfasts up a little more

Thought I'd try the Big Breakfast. Absolutely tasteless. Won't be coming back I'm afraid.

Definitely one of the better Wetherspoons pubs, and it's situated on the banks of the River Thames. Slightly more up market with a better menu, but also higher prices. It's spacious and comfortable, staff ok. Food is generally good for the money. Comfortable.

It was a nice pub I didn't know it was there and I used to live in that area lol staff very friendly that's unusual for a Witherspoon's pub will visit again... I paid this a revisit on 23/10 and Molly the barmaid was absolutely fantastic she does credit to wetherspoons..

Typical family pub to eat or have drinks at affordable prices

Popped in for some lunch with my wife and 3 children, food was delicious but could’ve been a bit hotter. Upon welcome to the pub, we recieved a warm welcome by two young girls behind the bar both called Molly, whom were very accommodating to our needs. They were incredibly friendly and chatty great customer service provided. Highly recommended

On a sunny day, the location by the Thames is great. Half the price of other pubs and Wetherspoon drinks are actually amongst the best (probably cause they sell so much the beer isn’t stale), what’s not to like

By far the best Wetherspoons I’ve been to. Food is fairly priced, well made and service has always been good when I’ve been. I usually come for breakfast and I’ve never been disappointed. Great location and seating too.

An unusual location for a 'Spoons by the side of the River Thames. Pleasant and quick service when I popped in, with no problem to try an ale before i bought. I also had a Hazy Jane with the chicken wing basket meal. Less than £15 for two beers and a meal by the riverside.

I haven't been here for years. A colleague recommended that I go in for breakfast. The breakfast was good and so was the price and the staff are lovely. I definitely will go back for my brake and also in the evening on my days off.

Good wetherspoons- quite noisy hen and stag do pub but good all the same

So bad news for this pub, it’s no longer licensed as a pub but a restaurant!! So you can’t get booze before 12pm on a Sunday, guessing it’s the same in the week.

Classic weatherspoon food and drinks with An amazing view of the river and the sunset.

Nice spot for a drink or bite by the Thames. The food is reasonably priced and they have offers on their pub classics between 2-4pm - so we only paid £9 for the Fish & Chips which included a soft drink. (Or you can pay a little more to upgrade it to an alcoholic drink). As with all Weatherspoons, you can order via their app.

Nice spot by the river but think they got the fish from the Thames that afternoon. And yes, that is a fish, not a triple battered croissant.

Reasonable food for the price and all was served hot. Table service via app was fast. Its a Weatherspoons, and it's very good for the prices they charge. There is no parking close to this one as it's on the Riverside. Plenty of outdoor seating but can get full quickly, especially in the evenings
