The best restaurants serving British food in London

When we checked into the hotel, one of the receptionists, Connor, recommended this restaurant, so my wife, our little boy, and I decided to give it a try. As soon as we arrived, Ashok warmly welcomed us and thoughtfully found a comfortable sofa seat for our little one. The menu had a great selection, and we decided to go with seafood. We ordered starters and mains, and Ashok also recommended the bread—which turned out to be fantastic. The food was absolutely amazing, the staff was incredibly professional, and everything was just perfect. A big thank you to the entire team—we’ll definitely be back! And a special thanks to Vitor for checking in on us throughout the meal, making sure everything was just right.

We were at the Swan last night and felt like we were at home in the living room from the start. Great atmosphere, Andy did a great job (thx Andy 🤟) and we were full too. Lovely evening in a great atmosphere...

Had a lovely meal for 6 people today. Food was quick, customised for various dietary requirements, and very tasty. Our waitress was also particularly polite and caring, thank you Georgia!

Café malo ... muy malo. Pides un bocadillo caliente y esperas que te llegue caliente pero te llega frio así que te tienes que levantar para que te lo calienten pero solo lo pasan un poco por la plancha y todo el interior sigue frio. Cocina mala, al menos con lo que pedimos. Y el servicio tampoco se estresaba mucho. Al jefe le daba todo igual jajajaja Como eres turista paga y vete. Sitio nada recomendable

Came in for a late dinner, was warned of the time service shut multiple times to make sure we could get our orders in on time. Decor and atmosphere was lovely. Wine list was extensive and had great choices. We got quite a few small dishes between us and were all very tasty. Would definitely recommend!

Turned up on spec and lucky it was quite quiet. Food was really good a great choice of dishes which are great size portions. I had the prawn biryani which was awesome.

The food preparation and delivery process has become noticeably slower and given the prices changed it should be quicker

Amazing afternoon tea. Thank you Chandra for the top tier service. It was our first time at an afternoon tea and he was very knowledgeable and patient in explaining all the different teas, cakes and sandwiches.

Beautiful quaint pub with great garden and the menu was varied and good value...Great Korean pork belly 😋 and Sunday Roasts! Live Jazz!

Me encantan mis tés de la tarde / crema y puedo recomendar encarecidamente el salón de té Candella para un té crema (bollos y té solo) en su salón de té o para una comida para llevar. Sus bollos están entre los mejores que he tenido en Londres y he tenido bastantes. Si lo haces para llevar, después de calentarlos en tu horno durante unos minutos, son absolutamente deliciosos (y la ventaja con la comida para llevar es que puedes poner tu propia mermelada favorita en los bollos). El salón de té en sí es muy lindo y atmosférico, pero es muy pequeño. Las reservas son muy recomendables.

Hicimos el tour de té de la tarde de Peppa Pig de Brigit. Conor era guía y era fantástico. Anna, Nadia y Amir eran geniales con este servicio. Toda la comida era genial, en realidad me arrepiento de comer el almuerzo y no solo comer la comida allí! Nos encantaron las tazas para llevar a casa y fue lo suficientemente atractivo e interesante para un niño de casi 5 años. Muy recomendable para los más pequeños.

The vibe of here is so good 😍 They have 2 sitting area on upstairs one downstairs. They have tasty sandwiches. 🥪 I cane here 2 times. Once we ordered chips as a side.it was not good at all. do not order chips but definitely go for sandwiches 😋 The price is reasonable too. Every meal is almost £10

The burger was average no real taste chips were dry was not given any sauses with them I did not feel like asking. A few were under cooked. The mens toilet was dirty and the toilet seat looked like it was 20 years old dirty and stained. Would not return.
