The best restaurants serving British food in London

Always a great meal here. Brilliant service and food, recommend the fish croquettes. There's a nice big garden too and it's dog-friendly.

Friendly and welcoming staff, good service, food was alright - would have preferred a little more flavour to the dishes, coffees were ok. Overall a good place for the price but not sure we’ll revisit for brunch. ( we tried Shashuka with Turkish sausages and Avo on toast with hollandaise sauce and feta)

1 hora de calle en esta parte de la ciudad. Hay una buena selección de pescado / patatas fritas en el menú. El personal es servicial y rápido. Pedí la solla, tuve que esperar unos 10 minutos ya que estaba recién cocinada. Plato principal con un suave era £ 20. Puedo recomendar.

Lovely hotel in lovely area. Breakfast is delicious. Room was quiet even though facing a street so quiet area. Staff very friendly and welcoming. Pete very friendly and Ronnie.

There’s always such a lovely atmosphere, feels like meeting family and friends every time we come over for a meal! Breakfast was great, hot and tasty food, friendly waiters and very affordable prices.

Situado en el barrio gastronómico más exclusivo y emocionante de Londres. Decoración formal y ambiente con madera oscura. Servicio profesional pero amigable. Menú creativo, pero no en la medida en que la forma supere la sustancia. La comida es deliciosa y de buen gusto.

Un lugar tan agradable y amable con buena comida. Sin embargo porciones muy pequeñas. Tuve pescado con patatas fritas por una enorme £ 36 y el pedacito de pescado que tenía era como una porción para niños. Absolutamente decepcionante, pero sabroso!

Reasonable food from a menu that seems to add an extra ingredient, and £1, wherever possible; chilli jam, mango chutney *and* spicy tomato salsa? Friendly service and nice mish-mash of crockery but not terribly clean; sticky cruets, grit in the grooves of the tables, dusty… The toilet has numerous quirky decorations. They need to cleaned when the toilet is cleaned.

Vinimos a Corinthia Londres para el té de la tarde que hemos reservado con antelación, esperando una experiencia memorable y relajante. Al principio, todo parecía prometedor: flores frescas, hermosa vajilla y una encantadora selección de sándwiches y pasteles. Desafortunadamente, el servicio no estuvo a la altura de las expectativas. Mientras todavía estábamos disfrutando de nuestras bebidas, uno de los muchos camareros que nos habían estado sirviendo preguntó si necesitábamos algo más. Cuando solicitamos un café, nos dijo abruptamente que nuestro tiempo había terminado y que no era posible. Esto fue inesperado y mal manejado, especialmente porque no se había establecido una hora de finalización clara en el asiento. Aún más confuso, otro camarero se acercó poco después y nos ofreció más café, seguido de un tercer miembro del personal que nos dijo que podíamos continuar en la barra ya que la mesa era necesaria a las 16 : 00 . Los mensajes contradictorios crearon un final incómodo y desagradable para lo que había comenzado como una tarde encantadora. Por si fuera poco, el proyecto de ley ha llegado al mismo tiempo que el café y un firme recordatorio para desalojar la mesa. Para un lugar tan premium, uno esperaría un nivel mucho mayor de profesionalidad, coordinación y hospitalidad. Todo el escenario se sintió apresurado y desorganizado, absolutamente no acogedor y tristemente no estuvo a la altura de la reputación de la Corintia. No recomendamos.

Large group of us so we pre-ordered. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly and accommodating. Everyone enjoyed their meal except me. Three of the meals ordered were roast pork. I'm not sure what happened to mine but the meat was overcooked and brittle, my wife's on the other hand was succulent and tender, nothing like what I was served. The third person also had no complaints. The desserts were very good, minor criticism on the rhubarb crumble, two out of the three orders were just crumble but the third order appeared to have to have the fruit from the other two; it was loaded. Overall it was a positive experience and I would dine there again.

Well located and nice staff. Rooms are rather poor, especially there is a need for more hygiene here. (Limescale in the kettle, rust everywhere in the bathroom, no towel, etc.)

Lovely afternoon tea @ Sheraton Grand’s Palm Court. We really enjoyed the sandwiches (especially the brioche buns) and scones with homemade preserves. The cakes weren’t as good, but the excellent and attentive service from Sadia made our afternoon. A pianist played every hour, which was lovely!
