5 isn't enough stars for the team at Fitzrovia. They make the space so welcoming and wholesome, which makes it a joy to go there every day. There's every facility you could want or expect and everything is maintained beautifully. I couldn't recommend them enough.

The summer parties, pub quizzes, pizza thursdays, yummy breakfasts - why WOULDN'T you want to come in to the office?!

I've been a regular visitor at Work.Life for years and can honestly say that I've always been super-impressed with the staff they seem to find! Soscha, Javani, Georgia, Karolina and Talitha (to name but a few) are professional, knowledgeable and fabulous (especially in Javani's case). The space itself is well-equipped with 500mb Internet, food, drink and delicious coffee. If you're looking for a space to work with a membership structure that's as flexible as a gymnastic yoga teacher in a brilliant central London location; look no further.

Worked there for less than one day and was charged an additional £24 more than a month after I'd left despite trying to find out how to cancel online. They have a very convoluted cancellation process. Easy to sign up on the site, extremely complicated and unclear to cancel - requires contacting the specific Work.Life office them directly, then there isn't even a direct contact listed on the website to do so. When I tried to cancel, there was no direct information or process on the website. The staff were quite rude when I requested a refund after not being able to figure out their process. Having worked at many co-working spaces around the world the payment process on this one is the most complicated and seems a ploy to sneakily keep your money month after month though you aren't using it. Shame as i thought it was nice for the half-day that I was there - sad to have left that bad taste in a customers mouth.

Nice space and friendly team, but I had to cancel my membership on the second day because of the issues with a phone booth. I came in to the office so I can have a quite space to dial in to the board meeting. While I was on the call every 30 mins I would have someone knocking on my door, be it someone who wants to use the booth or Work. Life team telling me off for using phone booth for calls longer then 30 mins... while I was still on the call with the board. In the end I had a guy opening the door and standing over me while I am gathering my things and I had to talk while I am was looking for another space. Instead of quite space that helps me focus I got the most stressful board call and for all the wrong reasons. I was not made aware of the phone booth policy when I signed, hence the review so you know you can't have calls longer then 30 mins if you decide to join this space.

Clean tidy work space, friendly staff

Absolutely love this place! The team there are brilliant, and you can access the place 24/7. I love the wellness Wednesday breakfasts, pizza & beer Thursday's and random treats that come your way. The work rooms have use windows and great air con with very good sound proofing between rooms. There are booths for private calls with equally good sound proofing, and the place is always clean, organised and immaculate. I'll be sad to move out to our new office!

Super restaurant d'une trentaine de places au maximum situé dans le quartier de Fitzrovia (quartier résidentiel dans le centre de Londres), dans une rue très calme situé à 5 min du métro à pied. Attention il vaut mieux réserver lieu très prisé!!!Personnel aux petits soins et de très bon conseil, cadre soigné, poissons de la pêche du jour à la carte.Nous y sommes allés en couple pour leur incontournable Fish and Chips, nous n'avons pas été déçus: poisson entier, délicieux et pas gras du tout.Nous y reviendrons sans hésitation lors de notre prochain séjour à Londres.

Was looking forward to a nice seafood lunch on a trip to London. Restaurant less than half full. Short menu with oysters, 5 starters and 5 mains. We had been before but alas what we had hoped for was absent. To me seafood needs to be fresh and simply prepared to enjoy the favour. Not smothered with unusual and strong flavoured ingredients to impress on the menu. The mussels were needlessly spoilt by spicy Korean cabbage kimchi and the cullen skink croquettes were all croquette and no haddock. The plaice were overpowered with capers and butter it was impossible to taste the delicate favour. À shame as the fish were obviously fresh. The sides were expensive and uninspiring especially as there was 12.5% service chargé. The brocoli was burnt and the crushed swede was over powered with capers. 4 pounds an oyster seemed steep or £22 for 6 especially as after lunch they were taken out of the desplay case and taken downstairs.We live in South West France were oysters are 13 euros for six and they leap out they shell when lemon Juice is added and fish are simply prepared with sides included. We will not return and I suspect the closure of the Soho restaurant is hearalding the end. Fish doesn't need to be fancy and the menu doesn't need to be a United Nations of ingredients.

Sí, es un pequeño restaurante tipo cabaña, pero cuando en el medio de la habitación esperaba un golpe, dos veces mi personal fue golpeado por el personal que pasaba y otros comensales, dos veces tuve que mover mi mesa para dejar pasar a las personas grandes y una vez que golpearon mis papeles al piso. No muy reconfortante.Pedí un Puffin Tears IPA de Cornwall (6. 00) que era afrutado y agradable mientras examinaba el menú corto y diario que cambiaba. Let me start off by saying that their menus changes every day depending on their local fisherman caught the previous day or that morning. The food was absolutely delicious and the staff were extremely knowledgeable and patiently guided my picky appetite. I love this place!

Our 2nd visit was just as good as the first. The home made bread, served to all, was great. We enjoyed the starters and tried the crab rarebit, mussels, fish cake and mackerel pate. The pate had picked rhubarb on top and was tasty. Main course were very good. Two of us eat fish and chips with mushy peas - special. The pollock and sea bream were also well received. For drink we had a bottle of Picpoul at £30 & sparkling water. We shared a pannacotta and finished with coffee. It was a great lunch. Service was friendly and on point. The restaurant is a small room and we liked it. My only very slight gripe is that I was sitting with my back to the door and there was a small but cold draft. They are about to refurbish. I am sure they will sort out the door. With 12.5% service the bill came to £92 for 2 people. It was well worth it.

While the place is small and you need reservations, this quaint restaurant has some of the best seafood I have ever eaten! The portions were the right size for the 3 of us. A bit pricey, but worth every penny!

‘Because life’s too short’, the motto that greets you on dozens of mugs while making your Monday morning coffee at Work.Life Fitzrovia. Initially I thought a reminder of my own mortality would be more appropriate before scaling a mountain or undertaking a bungee jump, rather than the start of a new week in front of my laptop at a shared office space. But it turns out Work.Life is much more than that, Thursday’s beer & pizza, board game evenings, the occasional cute dog and most of all the people! Thanks guys

A great base to work from, with a fantastic front of house team who organise events and keep us well fed. There's always plenty of space in the co-working areas to settle in with your laptop for the day, and private areas for making calls. And there's the added bonus of other co-workers often bringing in their dogs!

The most relaxing, enjoyable place to work. Everything is organised and the staff are amazing! Look forward to coming here every day

Very friendly workspace, good mix of people, free yoga sessions and beer & pizza nights! They organise fun theme nights to encourage their members to network, which has led to some interesting business.

Went with my boyfriend for a birthday meal as he absolutely loves seafood and we were extremely impressed with the quality of the food. We had four courses and everything we ordered was absolutely delicious. Staff very friendly and welcoming. I definitely highly recommend this place if you are a seafood fan and will definitely be going again soon. It's a little pricey but you get what you pay for so definitely worth the money.

I've been at Work.Life Fitzrovia for approximately 5 months now and find it a lovely place to work with a brunch of like-minded people and a friendly atmosphere. Great for a small office or team in the co-working space. The front of house team are awesome and have definitely added to my experience here. Look forward to returning in the New Year.

We walked in here around 9ish on Saturday evening in the hope we might be able to squeeze in, the second we walked over the threshold we were exceptionally warmly welcomed and accommodated.

3 of us dined here on Thursday night and what a fantastic experience it was

This is a small restaurant which serves superb food. The starter of oysters was very good and the main comprising of halibut with salt-baked celeriac and a side of fries with rosemary salt certainly couldn’t be faulted. The fish was cooked to perfection and was the best I’ve had for a long time. Staff were very friendly and the service efficient. It’s only a small restaurant and a minor criticism would be that the tables are very close together so you feel a bit cramped. Not the cheapest lunch but overall well worth a visit and certainly looking forward to returning in the near future.

The fish was so fresh we felt as though we were on the coast instead of in a busy city. The service was warm, personal and perfect. We will return. Booking is advisable as it is a tiny restaurant.

Just visited this restaurant. An anniversary present. What can I say. Excellent food and service. The fish (haddock in lovely crisp batter) was so fresh tasting and the accompaniments were great! My husband ordered fish as well and was not disappointed. This is a gem of a fish restaurant, picked for us by our son! Well done Christopher!

All round a great place for dinner. Fish was genuinely fresh, service was great and we had a fantastic meal. 100% would recommend.

Wow is an understatement, I have worked out of a variety of other workspaces and co-working spaces over the past two years and Work.Life tops the charts. My colleague and I both have the Flex Membership which means we aren't paying a monthly fee rather for each hour or day (caps at 35 pounds plus VAT). The girls that work at the front are the best, so welcoming and kind and do a lot to make everyone feel welcome. I know lots of places have amenities and such but Work.Life goes above and beyond, snacks of fresh veggies, hummus, dried fruit during the days, free chips and fruit other days, pizza and beer on Thursdays etc. It is also in a bomb location, so many good grab and go food spots around and close to a bunch of central neighborhoods that we go out in, go to meetings in and shop in if we need to pick anything up on the way home! Also has non-dairy milk! Very important for me!! Close to Oxford Circus and Goodge Street so basically great for any tube line as well!

Another great visit to Bonnie Gull. Staff really friendly and food was better this time. It is not a cheap restaurant but food delicious, not salty, just perfect. Great fish and fresh oysters. We also got two additional ones on the house, a nice touch. We will be back for more...

Tenía ganas de comer en Bonnie Gull después de haber oído cosas buenas sobre los dos restaurantes de Londres. Nuestros entrantes fueron encantadores, mi trucha de mar fue excepcional. Ojalá hubiera pedido 2 porciones de eso y no el pescado y las patatas fritas. Ambos tuvimos pescado y papas fritas, estaba grasiento y ambos tuvimos malestar estomacal más tarde en la noche; puede haber sido una reacción al goteo / grasa de carne de res, ya que generalmente no como carne, ya que estoy seguro de que el pescado estaba Fresco.

We stumbled across Bonnie Gull among a sea of choices and loved it so much that we ate there two more times. Having visited London from our home town of Cape Cod, Massachusetts (another location known for fresh seafood), we were pleasantly surprised, and then some, to find sweet and tender Oysters, served perfectly, walking distance from our hotel. The restaurant is coastal blue and white quaint, with knowledgeable professional staff, and an ever changing menu that captures what's fresh in simple yet delicious presentations. And at a price that will not break the bank. Although we had dinner reservations at some "famous" London restaurants, we did not enjoy them nearly as much as the Seafood Shack. There is a reason it is always crowded.

Here is my shared work space summary and why I chose and love Work.Life: Our Space - they didn't show up for the scheduled viewing. They wanted me to work in a tiny space that had buckets of paint, drills etc all over the floor. WeWork - Impressive space that is extremely convenient to my house, but it seems they are squeezing way too many people into the space, and it also was by far the most expensive. Work.Life - Soscha made this decision a no-brainer! She was warm, friendly, and professional, and made me feel very welcome.

The room is white & other light colors with a beachy feel, it’s chic yet still casual, the food is fresh, local & well prepared.

Bonnie Gull has become an annual tradition for our family. I am a sommelier and the wine list is inspired. They recommended a varietal from Luxembourg I had never experienced before and was perfect with my fish. Let them pick your oysters and enjoy the great service and seafood.

We visited this small and unassuming place in Fitzrovia because we were looking for a fish restaurant and all the places on our list were either closed or too far. We looked at the menu (only a sample menu, which was on their website) before and could see a couple of things we would order. Making a reservation was easy and quick. The actual menu was different but to our pleasant surprise, now we felt like we wanted to order everything! We shared a pre-stared: Avocado mousse with crab meat and it was absolutely delicious! Then we followed with a fishcake and a Scottish trout as our starters. I had never had a nice fishcake so I assumed it wasn’t my thing but the one I tasted yesterday completely changed my mind. The trout was beautiful but I must admit that the fishcake was my favourite.

Finding an authentic fish restaurant away from the crowds can be a trial. This place is nicely nestled and pretty much everything we were looking for.

I have been here many times, as I live on the street. It's good for lunch and dinner. Best to book, as it is very small and fills up fast. Deservedly, as the food is always terrific: classics are fresh and homemade and beautifully executed, anything more 'exotic' is imaginative and surprising. I had a superb starter of salmon with squid ink aioli. The other week I had the hake (my favourite fish), perfectly cooked, with Heritage carrot purée and hazelnuts. Everything is beautifully presented and the portions are surprisingly satisfying (I often associate seafood with teeny portions that leave you feeling hungry). Paradoxically, like all seafood on this island (something the continentals will never comprehend), it ain't cheap, so I can't afford to eat here every day, but it is wonderful for a treat.

We visited on the 18th May for an anniversary dinner with our grown up children and had a wonderful meal. We had Oysters first followed by tempura Squid and John Dory as mains. They were perfectly cooked and presented and tasted superb, well worth the journey from Cambridge. The buttermilk panna cotta with poached rhubarb was the best dessert ever to end such a fantastic meal.

Great food... every dish a delight. Wonderful fresh fish. Chips could do with a bit more cooking but otherwise perfect. Lovely ambiance- intimate, warm, cosy; great service; friendly helpful relaxed staff. Not cheap but then fish isn't! Would definitely go back.

This tiny restaurant knows what it is doing. Extremely friendly service and fresh fish and seafood. The vibe is relaxed, yet sophisticated.

The food at the BG is fabulously delicious. They offer a limited menu which is driven by the catch of the day and it is cooked with skill and creativity. tasty bread with homemade butter sets the scene and there are a couple of choices for a pre starter nibble. We chose the crab on soda bread which got the taste buds ready for grilled mackerel with beets. This felt both healthy and a real taste treat. The main of pollock was served with artichokes in various forms and it made you feel like the dish should go on forever. The restaurant is in central London and is very small, there is a spiral stair case leading to the toilet and the tables are cosied up tightly, so this may cause problems if you have mobility issues

Heard about this place. Had family on town. What a surprise. Service. Perfect. Food. Perfect. Atmosphere. Perfect. The fish n chips haddock was amazing. And the mushy peas? Gorgeous.

We visited here for a random lunch and was lucky enough to get as we didn't have a reservation and we know this place is popular. The food was really nice as normal but the bouillabaisse was incredible.

If you want great quality fresh seafood this is the place to go. The restaurant's decor is wonderful, staff are friendly and the food is to die for. I booked a table for my friends and I beforehand which was an easy process, the gentleman on the phone was extremely helpful. They also had a vegan starter and main course which was greatly received! We will definitely return soon!

I’ve just returned from dinner with my partner and felt the urge to warn all potential clients to stay away from Bonnie Gull.

I had the Peterhead cod, which was attractively plated with spinach, puréed carrots and a sauce. I also had fries on the side. Very tasty! Washed down with a beer it made for a nice lunch. It was on the spendy side – with everything, plus their included gratuity – the bill came to 37 GBP. Therefore, recommended with that caveat.

When you have are craving bouillabaisse, head to Bonnie Gull’s. They never disappoint. Lovely warming dish of freshness and deliciousness that brings a happy smile each time!

Every time in doubt I come to this establishment. Normally the food is great. It is quite small but I really book and they try to accommodate with a table. Menu changes daily and there is always a great surprise. Staff is great and cocktails amazing. On our seafood London tour this year one of the firm favourites.

The tight squeeze was partly the snug seating in the rear restaurant (rather than barstool) seating, but mostly it was my trousers at the end of an excellent dinner. My friend Julie and I like to try out new places, and seafood is often our pick. We were not disappointed. Half a dozen excellent oysters each to start, 3 sweet Jersey, and 3 plump Mersea (or was it the other way round ?), then we went for the (not so !) small plates; hake (generous and perfectly cooked), monk fish tails & separately monk fish cheeks (great textures and taste), ample sweet herrings on toast, and squid in (slightly greasy) batter. Oh, and skinny fries and salad on the side. That sounds a lot, but it would have been fine, I promise, if it wasn't for the unordered bowl of mussels that arrived half way through. The waiter claimed I had ordered it, but perhaps he then checked, because it wasn't on the bill when we settled up. A reasonable bottle of rose washed it all down well enough (you gets what you pays for, it was under £30), and we squeezed happily out of our seats and home.

Great fish restaurant with a good selection of British sourced fish fishes. Small venue in a nice, quiet location just North of Oxford St with friendly staff and good vibe.

My daughter and I went for lunch today and the seafood was fabulous. A good range fish and shellfish and served up in wonderful dishes. We had the tempura oysters, clams and mussels, and the langostines in lobster and leek veloute was quite something. Service also good and all was a great experience.

We were off to yet another West End show, and wanted to have a pre theatre meal, found this place by accident and decided to give it a try, anything to do with Seafood and I'm a sucker, but didn't think there would be anything like fresh, as in jumping out of the ocean onto your plate, in the heart of London. How wrong was I. Sitting up on a bar seat experienced a great seafood meal, really really fresh starting off with Tempora Oysters, and my they they delicious, diet gone to pot however, as I then decided on a Crab rarebit, I loved it but don't think my weighing scales did. But it was worth every kilo!

We booked this restaurant for dinner because of the recommendation on Tripadvisor. It’s a small restaurant. We had delicious oyster for starters and the fish for main course was excellent. A very good restaurant if you want to have e fish in London

This is a wonderful characterful restaurant serving fish from British waters. Ticked away in Foley Street it feels like a village within London. Fish fantastic!

After a really disappointing meal about a year ago decided to give The Bonny Gull a return visit and so pleased we did.

Service was great apart from no check back until the end, we were outside. Our main course was only luke warm, we did mention this to the waitress after but it was a bit late then she just appologised that was all. Flavours were very good so it was disappointing that the dishes were not hot. We had the pollock and the cod.

This is a lovely tiny restaurant with outside seating, simply furnished. The staff are very welcoming and knowledgable about the seafood and handy with the wine list! We had Oysters, sardines and sea bream followed by a dessert. The seafood is all freshly caught around the coast of the UK and absolutely delicious. I would highly recommend.

Cenamos aquí con la semana de la familia y amigos. El servicio era bueno, pero algo lento y la comida era excepcional. Yo estaba un poco sorprendido por la factura, pero, cuidado, no bebimos mucho vino blanco y no estoy seguro de cuánto era cada botella. También bebimos algunas cervezas, artesanías que no son baratos.

Tengo que admitir una debilidad por los aperitivos y tienden a ir para un estilo tapas como la red parecía bastante caro para lo que es esencialmente pescado y patatas fritas. pijo.
