The best restaurants serving British food in London

The worst experience ever. Tuesday afternoon very quite Waited for 15 mins to get gravy? And another 7 mins to get a measly portion of apple sauce? All the veg and potatoes were cold? Then waited 12 mins for a desert? Luckily I ordered the bill at the same time as the desert. Absolutely disgusting food and service. Would not recommend to an enemy steer clear.

Después de un retraso de 3 horas expreso nacional de Cardiff necesitábamos sustento. Directamente fuera de la estación de autobuses Victoria a la taberna de viajeros. Gran servicio al cliente, gran vibra, buena comida a precios razonables y Scott robó el espectáculo. Mientras limpiaba nuestra mesa entabló conversación y fue muy amable e informativo. Nunca cambies a Scott.

We Booked a table for 6 people we arrived to Football hooligans sat there shouting and talking they had the cheek to add burgers to our order food was cold we ate it and left toilets aren't the greatest won't be going again 🫡😔

We were welcomed on arrival by a very nice man and shown to our table. We had booked for breakfast which although is no longer an option there, they provided us with a varied breakfast menu and all the food was delicious and well cooked. The staff couldn’t have been more accommodating and friendly. We were so grateful and happy with our experience. We often visit for drinks and dinner because the staff here are so nice and they allow dogs. It’s a real shame breakfast is no longer offered here as it was so tasty and very good value.

Decent cafe with full English and also Italian dishes, not many around in the city of London. We had a full English and a spaghetti amatriciana, which was tasty, good level of spicy and great value. There's seating upstairs with a TV screen.

I always have such a good time in here. Rocio is my favourite bar tender, friendly stuff and sweet atmosphere. Thanks!!!

Had a lovely afternoon in this down to earth pub. The range of cask beers is decent, the keg craft ales extensive and there's a well priced wine list. The manager (Agna?) and staff (Patryk) could not have been more helpful and the food was good and excellent value, with a range of veggie and vegan options. The screens are not to my taste, but it is easy to find a comfortable seat away from them. All round a good, no-frills, clean boozer.

Delicioso desayuno huevos revueltos, hongo portabello masivo, salteado y 2 hachís morenos. . café perfecto servidor tan atento, trajo sal y azúcar extra. . Así que chaty (que uno ama) tenía un gran cabello también. .

Todo bien, excepto que después de salir comprobé mi recibo y me di cuenta de que me habían cobrado por 3 pintas de cerveza que no había pedido. ¡Me costó alrededor de 20 libras!

Went to this bar for NYE.. It was a shame they dint serve food or any snacks at all on NYE. Ofcourse everyone got there nice and early to avoid the crowd only to find out the kitchen was closed for the night. The staff was good and helpful. The bar sure offers an amazing view for the fireworks for NYE . Its a good pit stop..

Went to the Half Moon on Sunday to see John Bramwell. Booked a table for lunch beforehand. As usual the lunch was superb, excellent food and great service. The staff are so friendly and helpful, as one of our party was gluten free. Just out of hospital after a knee operation, so was on crutches, they had reserved a seat for me in the limited seating area, which was so kind and helpful of them. What more could you want on a Sunday afternoon, in December, great food and another great gig from John. Thank you.

Tuvimos la fiesta de cumpleaños de nuestro amigo aquí y lo pasamos muy bien. Buen buffet el equipo era muy servicial. Alguna nave interesante en tap. Volveremos.

Mediocre pub. Treat the locals poorly Revenue is all that matters Far better pubs in Blackheath would be my last resort to visit
