Came in with my partner this time, amazing cozy atmosphere downstairs very good for a date night or just some privacy, she had a cocktail from their menu and I had a guiness both drinks was spot on

We've been to the Flying Horse every time we visit London, either before or after our Oxford Street shopping. The pub is great (try the Hell's Lager) and located next to the Tottenham Court Road Subway Station.

De pub is gezellig met een aantal schermen voor onder andere voetbal. Er zijn veel bieren op de tap en er is redelijk wat ruimte. Het barpersoneel was keurig.

The decoration of the place was really nice. However, there was a bar woman who was really rude and mean. She asked for my ID, but i just had my oyster card (18+) and also my own credit card! Moreover, I suggested to show her a photo of my ID but she denied. I do not think that if I was under 18, I would ever visit this pub at 10 in the night! I was really shocked with that unacceptable behavior. I will surely never visit that pub, again!

Visited with friends for one of their birthdays. Had been to one previous pub and decided to give this pub some business. Looked quiet and somewhere we could catch up and chat. Unbeknownst to us we would meet a barmaid who would take it upon herself to decide that after one drink some of our party had had enough. When the barmaid was questioned why she had singled out one individual as "having enough" and that he was Irish, she said that he was living up to the stereotype.. would strongly recommend to stay away from this pub

Popped in to the Flying Horse for a light lunch and a few beers before going to the Dominion theatre. The real ale (London Pride) was spot on … but …. how can a pub run out of sandwiches at lunch time???!!! So disappointing as this is a nice friendly pub, hence the low rating.

Stopped in here, after enjoying a visit at the British Museum. It's a beautiful, cozy pub, and we sat awhile, having drinks. We sat in the front window area, and watched all the people going by. It was so busy at that time of day, (late aft.) that it was hard to get out on the sidewalk, when leaving a couple of times/coming back in, due to the crowds. Several people popped-in here, after their workday, just to have drinks.

I am trying to make a reservation for tomorrow for three guests and the online form will not accept my enquiry and no one is answering the phone. Very frustrated as one of our party is an elderly lady with mobility issues, and will get stressed if we are unable to secure a reservation and have to walk to find somewhere at 5.30pm. I am a diabetic so cannot miss a meal. We are going to the theatre and need to eat before. Is there any way of making that reservation please?

What an ideal spot to rest your weary legs having shopped for Britain on Oxford Street. Cosy warm welcome with TVs to watch sport, what more can you ask for??? - perhaps a reduction in the overpriced beer and spirits!! Staff were very pleasant and atmosphere great without being too noisy. Did not try the food but if Nicholson's reputation is anything to go by it would be wholesome.

This Pub used to be called the Tottenham. Staff are friendly and prices good for central London. Has a good flow of customers houng through it. There is a bar downstairs as well which can be hired.

Este pub está ubicado en la parte inferior de Oxford Street, frente a la estación de metro Tottenham Court Road. Es bastante acogedor y tiene un ambiente agradable y relajado. Entramos a la hora del almuerzo para tomar café y sándwiches, que estaban todos bien. El menú es muy pequeño, pero excelente si solo quieres un sándwich rápido. En el bar había una amplia gama de bombas para bebidas de barril y también tenían una barra de bodega, me imagino que es bastante animado por las noches.

Un bonito pub situado en un cruce muy concurrido. Simplemente aparece y es como si alguien hubiera activado un interruptor. Decoración encantadora buena selección de bebidas. Es posible que tengas un trabajo tratando de encontrar un asiento, pero cuando te sientes, te relajes y mires a tu alrededor.

Amazing choice of beers, I took one Plisen. Very pleasent place for refreshment in hot day. Unbelievable small toilets :-)

It has so nice atmosphere and on the famous street(Oxford Street) of London. You couldn’t always free table but you can always enjoy there.

The Flying Horse became our local whilst we were staying around the corner recently in London. We loved the service, the vibe and the surroundings. Great pub and would definitely visit again when back in London.

Found this place 3 years ago and return every time I'm in the area. Took the wife in today and as always great experience, friendly staff and a nice pint. Atmosphere is great. Fab place to just relax and enjoy a quiet pint.

Stannade på denna pub efter några timmars shopping. Trevligt ställe med ett stort utbud av både öl och vin.

I have never had an experience like it at a pub before. The staff in the evening were so rude to myself and my friends. The woman claiming to me the manager treated customers horrendously. Will definitely not be going back to be treated in such a way. I honestly do not know how she has a job. Avoid at all costs!

What a great place for a drink, perfectly located outside Tottenham Court Road tube. Staff are friendly and knowledgeable, would recommend to all for a drink on your own or as a group. All in all lovely just lovely!!!

Entré por una cerveza y un bocadillo. El pub tiene mucho espacio pero todavía estaba bastante lleno. La selección de bebidas es buena. El servicio bueno y rápido. El ambiente era excelente. Sin duda volveremos. Sobre todo porque está justo al lado del metro. Muy conveniente.

I returned to the Flying Horse for the first time in a few years having been a frequent visitor when it was The Tottenham. Only had time for a drink, but there was a decent selection of beers on offer. I chose the Sharps Doombar which is familiar to me and this was reasonably priced considering the pubs location. Pleasant and friendly service and a comfortable and nicely decorated bar. Alas, before leaving I decided to pay a visit to the gents toilets. Horrendous. Maybe I caught the place on a bad day, but the wet sticky floor and the strong smell of vomit helped me make my mind up that it was time to leave.

The waitress remembered our order and was extremely friendly! Great selection of drinks and excellent atmosphere!

We drank something before going to the Dominion Theater and we were surprised abt the most friendly people working in the pub. Natalia, roberta and Ryan were so kind to us and our children. We definitly go back there.

Called into this pub after visiting a show at theShaftesbury Theatre on a Friday evening. Reasonably busy and didn’t take too long to get served by an efficient barman. Two pints, a Diet Coke and a G&T; for £19.25 which I guess is probably par for the course for a London pub? I had a London’s Pride which was decent enough.

What a fantastic evening/late night spent in this friendly little gem. A fantastic range of gin 👌. Great night spent with the Barbados private party if only we lived in London.

After exhausting ourselves doing oxford street on Black Friday we decided we needed a beverage to keep us going and found this little gem of a pub.

The Flying Horse is a traditional pub on Oxford Street, opposite of Tottenham Court Road underground station. The decor is fairly stylish, and there's a large range of hand-pumped ales and lagers on offer, along with all other kinds of alcoholic beverages and soft drinks. They also serve solid pub food. This is one of the busiest pubs in central London even during the day, finding a table won't be easy. In addition to the main pub area on the ground floor, there's also a dining area in the basement. It's all fairly glitzy, and the prices for drinks are elevated. The ideal pub to hang out before or after a performance at the Dominion Theatre next door.

I'm sat in the pub right now reading the reviews on this site and think what a sad lot you moaners are. It's clear that Roberta and Natalia are committed, cheerful and capable facing a huge crowd one minute and just a few minutes later as the crowd goes to the theatre still smiling and happy between themselves and the remaining customers. It's a lovely pub and you should give it a try.

A pity really as the pub is reasonable well located and pretty well decorated. It has a nice lightwell such that the back is not too dark. However the staff are not interested and there was a massive queue for the ladies toilets.

We met at the Flying Horse (which I knew as the Tottenham) before our Punk tour of Soho and it was just another overpriced, bland tourist pub. Surly disinterested service too. A message for any visitors to London - there are much better pubs just metres away!!

It was a rainy Saturday afternoon and we fancied a drink before the theatre. The flying horse was busy but we got served, average London prices, unfortunately all bitters were off so had cider and wife had wine, nearly £13. We got seated and met some lovely American visitors and other locals. Friendly atmosphere with staff and locals.

While you're strolling London and your wife shops at Primemark, you can have a beer along with the after-work crowd of London duelers.

Wow, it's great to experience such charm and hospitality on Oxford Street.

The Flying Horse is a historic pub very close to Tottenham Court Road station and is the only pub on Oxford Street. The main bar is very attractive with its Victorian decorations, extra seating is available in the downstairs bar – this isn’t so attractive but if one is tired the chance to sit down is most welcome. Prices were average for this area of London. I enjoyed the drink I had here and would certainly consider returning in the future.

Tomamos unas copas después de un ajetreado día de compras y nos encantó, nos pareció que el personal del bar para ser amable y muy acogedor. Lo que hizo que para nosotros era lo tradicional es, nos encantó la decoración del lugar y una ventaja es lo cerca que está de la estación de metro. :)

Mi amigo y yo estábamos visitando Londres desde Escocia (yo) y Honduras (él). Fuimos a este bar, ya que parecían bastante tradicional y bien situado para un poco de la locura de Oxford Street. El barman (20 años, alto, de pelo oscuro, Europa oriental) llevaba una camiseta que decía en la parte trasera para pedirle una recomendación de cerveza. Yo amablemente le preguntaron si él podría recomendar una cerveza para nosotros. Me miró floridana y dijo que no podía. Entonces yo elegí al azar dos cervezas para nosotros. Mi amigo estaba pagando la ronda, y al no estar acostumbrados a reino unido, tuve que le ayude a encontrar la cantidad correcta. El barman era claramente agraviada en tener que esperar (no había nadie esperando) y en este punto entonces farfulló algo en un idioma extranjero. Le pregunté amablemente con dureza, pero lo que él dice, en la que él respondió, "Oh, nada. . . Yo estaba pensando. "Él fue capturado fuera de guardia y claramente nervioso que tenía ataques aéreos le han odioso. Entonces, él se convirtió en el encanto, ya que era consciente de que estaba descontento con su servicio. Había otro tío realizando (30 s, beard, inglés, usando su propia ropa) a quien deseo me había quejado.

Excelente apariencia pequeño pub en la esquina de Oxford Street y Tottenham Court Rd. Mi marido fuimos mientras voy a Primark en la puerta de al lado. Fuimos a reunirse con él y noté un gran cartel en el bar, que sirve sándwiches. Preguntamos por la comida que sirven, pero me dijeron que solo venden patatas fritas, mi esposo ya había visto otros clientes sirve sándwiches? ? ? ? ? No se molestaba en hacer el punto, si no quieres el negocio que está bien.

Popped in to have a drink before seeing Bat Out Of Hell. Seems a very pleasant pub and prices reasonable. Nice atmosphere and was pretty busy by the time we left. Would visit again if in the area.

Sigue siendo un precioso pub, pub normal bebidas nicholson, pero no es una buena experiencia. Jueves por la noche y no muy concurrida pero portero/bouncer parecía indeciso acerca de su descripción de trabajo, lento y nervioso tanto con nosotros entrar y cerrar la puerta para que pudiéramos salir. Es inaceptable que no tienen cerraduras en las puertas de los baños. Muy decepcionado.

Tomamos una copa rápida y sándwich aquí a la llegada del aeropuerto. La señora rubia detrás de la barra era eficiente y la comida llegó en segundos, ahí es donde termina el servicio, no hacer contacto visual, incluso al quitar los vasos un nano de segunda después de que tomó el último sorbo de la copa. Ella nunca preguntó cómo era la comida o si queríamos una segunda ronda! Bien para nosotros no hay una segunda rondas aquí nunca.

You would think that there would be an abundance of pubs around and on Oxford Street, but actually this gem is the last one standing directly on the most famous street of London. Very grand deco and very lovely atmosphere. More beers to choose from then I could try. This pub is definitely well worth a visit, even just to take in the beautiful bar and ceiling.

Considering it’s super central location this is a good place if you want somewhere close to stop by for a casual drink. The downstairs area is nicer and less busy than upstairs so make sure you check it out.

On Oxford Street? Next to PRIMARK? Must be a tourist trap! Well, they actualy really know about beers and don't hesitate to talk about it. They let us try out different ales and taught about the origins and differences. Great people - great place!

Paramos aquí para una pinta antes del teatro. El primer piso estaba lleno así que nos aventuramos a abajo. Tuvimos que comprar las bebidas en el bar de abajo arriba, pero era agradable y tranquilo. Mientras saboreábamos en nuestro pintas, más gente se unió a nosotros y estaban jugando juegos de mesa. Un lugar muy agradable para pasar el rato!

E' sempre il momento di rilassarsi e scolarsi una bella birra, in questo posto lo si può fare in mezzo ai londinesi in pausa pranzo o ai ragazzi che si trovano dopo il lavoro a seconda delle fasce orarie. Il locale non è tanto grande, illuminato da una luce soffusa che poco fa vedere lo sporco sui tavolini e sul pavimento (tipico dei pub).

Popped in for a quick pint because of the pub's association with J. K. Rowling's Cormoran Strike. (When it was The Tottenham)Nice cold pint of cider, not as expensive as we expected for London. Just what we needed, in a lovely traditional pub (nice ceiling!) Great! Easy to jump straight on the tube after.
