Very disappointed with the sandwich - It was a Parma ham, mozzarella and sun-dried tomatoes. The hardly put any Parma ham (maybe 2-3 slices) - disappointing, considering that a sandwich costs £8.4

Italian place with £9.5 for very strangely done Italian BLT. The sandwich had default square bread from Sainsbury’s, with heated internals. Somehow it was warm-ish, not hot, right after I took it from the counter. Sandwich didn’t have advertised mayo. This place has “redacted” food hygiene rating - they removed the middle part of that sticker. I can only guess that rating is LOW. Also, in case of fire report to “_____”, and “_____” must call 999. This place is a joke. I was genuinely worrying to get poisoned after eating here. I feel deceived. Perhaps, that’s why they call themselves an Italian place.

Great for a fry up or similar, but dont expect smart decor - very basic/transport cafe-esque - dining upstairs and in basement - both a bit whiffy. Not a daily regular but views based on visits over the years. Sandwiches etc very hit and miss and yet to have a fresh slice of bread - always taste dry/stale. Ask for a ciabatta and dont expect it to be toasted and melted inside. It goes through a warmer which is as useful as a choc teapot - you get a dry/cold ciabatta with chilled mozzarella. Surly owner though the rest are friendly enough but seems a high turnover as rarely see the same faces! Overall, price and fine if you're desperate, otherwise, find somewhere else!

Middle of the morning it is really busy and the staff are naturally very keen to serve customers as quickly as possible so you do need to quickly decide what you want or they will move onto the next customer. Funny table service - Had breakfast upstairs once - quite empty but the three tables that were taken were all lined up against a wall not by a window (on a nice day) because the waitress was making them sit away from the larger capacity window tables just incase larger groups came in (understandable but a bit un necessary considering it wasn't that busy). On the plus side, the spats I've witnessed between the female staff members whilst they prepare your food is quite entertaining.

I wasn't wanting to spend much and thought maybe the portions and price would be good value. Upon arrival we asked if they were open for dinner and were told in a sharp manner yes. We were then told we would have to order our dinner standing where people were getting take aways. Strange not to sit for dinner and have table service when there is upstairs and downstairs seating.. I looked on the chalk boards where there were sandwiches, lunch time food and specials listed. So we asked to see a menu which was given to us begrudgingly by the woman behind the counter. We were then told we should just look in the cabinate. The woman was so rude and our experience was so bad that we decided not to stay, and to go somewhere else.

Went in here for a Bacon sandwich. Two rats crawled out from under the fridge and into the food prep area. Staff seemed unaware. Taxi drivers laughed it off. I for one will not be eating here again.

It's a bit hectic, but the food is great, the service is fast and friendly. I had jacket potato with bacon and cheese and it was not only delicious, but the portion was also quite generous. Will definitely come back and bring my colleagues.

A group of us called in for take away sandwiches at the peak point of rush hour. The main fella took over our order and seemingly did the whole thing without resorting to writing anything down. The food was fine and the service was as impressively swift in amongst the chaos as anything I've seen. The coffee was ok too.

My wife and I are staying in London for a few weeks. We have rented an apartment rather than book a hotel room so that we have more flexibility about what we do. We had walked past the Piccolo Bar a few times and it always appeared busy. A couple of days ago we called to give their takeaway service a try. There was a large selection to choose from. We opted for one of the many pasta dishes along with a main of chicken wrapped in bacon. The food was delicious, and the young Polish girl who served us was very helpful. We will certainly revisit to try something else.

Has been having a lunch there for a past few month, trying different things. Overall - crap quality food, all hot courses overcooked and way to much spices. Prices every time different and I had a feeling that they decide last minute how much they going to charge you :) Paid from 6.20 to 8.50 for same course + tea. Once has been offered variety of salads with roast chicken by staff, and then charged £1.00 for every salad type - £5.00 on top of the price of the meal!Sandwiches are just ok, very cheap bread and all the ingredients. Sandwiches from local "Tesco" express - way better quality!English breakfast is hit and miss, one day everything tastes ok, another day sausage is cooked to the point that it's almost inedible, rubbery texture with burnt taste. Finally after This Monday lunch, had a very bad stomach paint and decided not to go there anymore at all. Only one good think - cap of tea price probably cheapest around at £1.00 per cup. And some of the stuff is very friendly, when other are moody, and sometimes are just rude.

With cheap white sliced bread, well its called bread but has neither the substance nor texture of what we know as that most basic of foodstuffs. Layered with cheap margarine and displaying the most meagre portion of overcooked bacon you would be hard pushed to recognised any flavour whatsoever. We were served up two of these together with a cup of coffee and tea respectively and at least the quality of the beverages was consistent with the food. And all for £8. Next time I'll throw my £8 in the bin - it will be more satisfying.

Went to this bar for NYE.. It was a shame they dint serve food or any snacks at all on NYE. Ofcourse everyone got there nice and early to avoid the crowd only to find out the kitchen was closed for the night. The staff was good and helpful. The bar sure offers an amazing view for the fireworks for NYE . Its a good pit stop..

A great place to eat and rest: nice people, nice food (the best fish&chips in London!) and it’s in front of San Paul’s. Don’t miss to try when in London.

What an absolute gem of a place this coffee shop is. Drove to Harrow to have my car fixed and found this little oasis while I waited. Beautiful frothy hot chocolate, a vegetarian breakfast and a slice of homemade jaffa cake were all equally delicious. Lovely friendly staff and a very clean WC. Highly recommended 👌
