The Rocket in Euston in Camden

The Rocket is a pub along Euston Road between Euston and Kings Cross Stations. You'll find a fairly large indoor seating area and a menu with a wide range of British and other western dishes. An expected range of beers and other drinks on offer as well. Opening hours are 9am until late each evening. Table spacing is quite good, service is friendly, prices reasonable. Recently popped in and ordered their Steak & Guinness Pie, was a generous serving size and tasted just fine. All in all, a good option for lunch or quick meet up in the area. Would have no problem popping into The Rocket again in the future.

Très beau Pub avec de l'ambiance, belle décoration, la carte du menu et en anglais et français, une personne du personnelles parle aussi Français. Le repas était très bon et copieux les boissons sont de grande taille. Nous en n'avons eu pour 35 euros ( 2 assiettes burger + 2 boisson soft ). Se qui vaut en france au restaurant le bureau.

Working in Essex, going home to Chester after a long, hard week on site. Walking St. P to Euston. Dustbuster turned in to ½ a gallon, caught a later train. Staff full of sunshine, nice beer, nice building. Young Aussie barkeep on first shift was a delight.

I was here for the evening, we had a beautiful meal, cooked promptly and presented great. The staff Luca and Ashlin and manager Ciara were super friendly/attentive and very knowledgeable of products, they really made the experience great! We will definitely be visiting again soon and telling our friends! Thank you the Rocket!

We had a family outing to watch our two granddaughters dance at the Shaw Theatre and went to The Rocket before the show as it was just 2 minutes walk along Euston Rd. We found seats OK and ordered a sharing platter 5 dishes for about £22 plus drinks. Large screens were showing a Rugby game and Ireland just beat South Africa in the closing minutes of the game. There was a great atmosphere and I would certainly recommend The Rocket if you are going to the Shaw Theatre.

Well was disappointed as been here before had a great food not this time the food was cold so sent back took awhile to get it back hot what was more annoying that we were charged for table service even though it was done on the app nowhere was that on the menu or app it’s only when u pay that it shows a charge so next time in London will not be using this pub

We ate here on a busy Thursday night, but service was still very good. I had a chicken & bacon caesar salad and my husband had a mixed grill. Both were excellent, the salad had lots of veg, but it didn’t skimp on the chicken or bacon either. Hubby loved the mixed grill, he said it was very tasty, but big! We really enjoyed the atmosphere, and sat after eating with a beer and a glass of wine. Very enjoyable!

Was in London with a friend, stumbled across this gorgeous pub! It’s got a lovely new interior, the staff were welcoming. Loads of beers and ales to choose from and a large menu with a smaller lunch offer for £8.50!

The food was tasty and a reasonable price for central London. Service was quick and staff were friendly. Would recommend.

Where do I start.. for the love of god don’t play their slot machines. It’s laughable what happened but also ridiculously frustrating. I ended up winning 150£ and hit collect when done, it spits out 2x20£ notes then stops. So I hit collect again and it starts dumping what turned out to be 40 single £ coins. So the bartender is watching and laughing like what the heck is happening while I clearly am also confused. They get the manager who comes out and says one thing “what did it stop dispensing the money?” And proceeds to hit the collect button two more times until it’s spit out my remaining 70£ winnings in single pound coins and walks away without a word. I sat there waiting and expecting him to come back to change the amount out for a few mins before going back to the bartenders and asking what is going on. She goes back for a few mins to ask the manager only to return and say ya sorry you have to take the coins and we don’t exchange change! So we got to carry out about 5lbs of coins. Wouldn’t even give us the courtesy of giving us a bag to carry them out with after asking. Meanwhile to add injury to insult we leave the country tomorrow morning before any banks open and had purposefully gotten rid of all the coins we had accumulated over our vacation.

All the staff were very friendly, nice atmosphere and a good selection of drinks to choose from. Definitely would recommend as somewhere to go for drinks with a few friends, two cocktails for £12 is a great bonus!

We had just arrived back from Amsterdam, tired of seeing countless pizza, wine and coffee bars! Finding this good old fashioned pub was just what we needed. The range of beers was excellent as was the menu. We both had the Guinness and steak pie which was enormous accompanied by seasonal veg and salad....really good portions and delicious. Perfectly located by St Pancras and Kings Cross stations. If you want peace and quiet then this pub isnt for you, but if you like a great atmosphere and traditional pub grub then we would highly recommend a visit.

Had a great night came to watch the opening game of the Championship season and was created by great service by Freya and the rest of the team. Food was a 10/10 service was a 10/10

Was staying in a hotel across the road and don't do hotel bars, this is great little spot , good menu nice range of beers!

I stopped off at the Rocket after getting into Euston the other day for some food and drinks, the bar staff were very friendly and we shared some of their tapas dishes which were all delicious and great value! Will recommend!

D’extérieur aspect très charmant et sympathique ! Une fois à table c’est la décadence… Après avoir été installé depuis 30min personne ne prends notre commande… je passe commande au bar, le serveur est très nonchalant me laisse poiroter 10 minutes avant de ne serait-ce me regarder ! Après avoir passer la commande nous attendons de nouveau 30 minutes. Je décide donc de retourner au bar, je m’adresse à la serveuse qui me coupe au bout de 3 secondes pour partir sans raison et revenir 5 minutes plus tard, une fois revenu je lui demande où en est mon plat et elle me dit que je ne l’aurais pas avant 20 minutes car ils leur manquaient des ingrédients ! Mon ami s’est vu remettre son burger à la viande complètement calcinée mais moi je n’ai pas déjeuner après plus d’une heure d’attente pour avoir une simple pizza !

We had the best experience here! Ash, Kofey and the manager all visited with us and were very welcoming. They even offered suggestions for the next leg of our trip. My husband had the traditional meat plate and I had the meat pie. Both were great! We especially enjoyed the service. Very sweet folks here!

Went on Sunday to watch the Newcastle United v Manchester United Cup Final, bar was rammed, 5 deep at the bar, but a great atmosphere with all of my fellow Newcastle fans. At around 3:30 the bar turned off all the TV's and said they were not serving any more drinks and the bar was closing, heard different things as to why, first we weretold of the staff that they had ran out of drinks, but they were clearly still serving, we were then told that they were only allowing people to stay who had booked tables, not one person I spoke to had booked a table. The police arrived and they told us they didn't know why the bar was closing or why they had been called and no one was causing a problem. We stayed inside and they turned the TV's back on at 4:15 for the match, but many other fans had left to try and find somewhere else to watch the match. The bar felt over crowded, if this was why they wanted some people out then they should have stopped people entering when at capacity, but to take everyones cash all day then decide they wanted all these people to leave was a disgrace. The toilets were also disgusting, some urinals were over flowing or broke, the floor was a river of urine, and the carpets outside the toilets were soaking and stinking. Horrendous bar, would have left if the other bars in the area weren't at capacity, we left as soon as the game finished, and I will definately not be going back. Avoid this greedy bar at all costs.....
