The best restaurants serving British food in London

Tuvimos nuestra comida de Navidad de equipo aquí y fue genial. Estaba muy cerca de la oficina y tenía un buen menú, así que fue una opción fácil para nosotros. Nuestro almuerzo estaba fijado para las 2 de la tarde y la mesa estaba disponible a la llegada y el teníamos nuestras etiquetas de alimentos listos para llevar. Fuimos por los 3 platos aparte de unos pocos que se unieron el día que tenían que ir con su menú regular. La comida era genial, con algunas grandes selecciones de Navidad en el menú y los tamaños de las porciones eran enormes. La verdura extra para la mesa era un gran complemento - encendido y el servicio era excelente. 3 estrellas debido a que el personal recibe información dietética muy mal para uno de nosotros. Aparte de eso, un gran lugar para el almuerzo de Navidad.

Unfortunately really bad service. They didn’t have most options on the food menu, and the staff didn’t have the thoughtfulness to mention that when we sat down for food. The chickpea curry was nice but the padrón peppers were tragic.

Amazing bar staff and atmosphere.

I have never eaten such good fish and chips, I am French and I say bravo! Beautiful friendly atmosphere in this pub! Health !

Popped in for a drink on a lovely sunny day, informed it was the first day of the BBQ menu, when outside the chef (who was very friendly) popped over and explained the menu and thoughts behind the dishes. We decided to have a couple of dishes and they were excellent. Unfortunately we were only able to stay for a couple of drinks but could easily have spent the afternoon there. We were informed the place is now under new ownership/management and if this is the direction they are going i look forward to coming back time and again!

Reasonable beer in a pleasant pub

If you’re planning on ordering the mushroom toast and/or the cod fish - DO NOT DO SO. I got food poisoning from eating one of those the other night!! :( But at least the service was good

El ambiente desagradable / EL PERSONAL ES SÚPER ANTIPÁTICO / NO UNO DE LOS SONRISAS DEL PERSONAL / AFUERA ALGUNOS TURISTAS ME HICIERON UNA PREGUNTA Y TRATARON DE AYUDAR / PLANTILLA MIEMBRO HEMBRA bien - construido cabello muy oscuro estaba sentado justo allí y ella no se molestó en responder / barman parece que odia su trabajo / parece enojado y no es de extrañar lugar está vacío.

Debo haber reservado por error una mesa en un almacén. El personal procede a colocar la silla alta y los soportes de vino junto a la mesa para almacenar. En ningún momento nadie se disculpó por hacerlo ni dijo nada al respecto. Reservamos una mesa para 3 y nos sentimos como en el camino del personal y los clientes que pasan. En un momento me golpeó el personal que llevaba una silla alta a mi lado. La comida era bastante agradable, pero la noche se arruinó algunos qué por donde estaba la mesa y los otros problemas. También había alguien regando las plantas a las 6 : 30 de la tarde, no estoy seguro, pero supongo que esto podría haberse hecho en un momento menos ocupado. Parece que interrumpir a los clientes no era una prioridad.

Lovely atmosphere great service and lovely cake

My favorite go-to restaurant when staying by Heathrow! Staff and food are always lovely. Restaurant usually requires reservations but the pub side is usually a good bet. Pub side you go up and order food is brought to your table!

Service was good by the lady who served me . Pie came out cold had to ask for a replacement. I Was ill the next day not impressed .

Decent backstreet pub, normal people enjoying a pint (or a wine) after work. No vacuous hipsters, no pop-ups just beer at a decent price.

Great place for a beer and a pause in the neighborhood. They had tables outside, but you still had to order at the bar inside.
