Very Christmassy! I like this pub a lot but felt like the service was average. Not very friendly

Getting a bit pricey. Food ok. Bit of a crèche.

Roasts that cost almost 20£ must come with Yorkshire pudding!!! x

Where do I begin … the whole experience was dreamy, the lighting seductive; truly a warm environment with such friendly staff. I would like to highlight in particular the manager who I believe was called Oscar. He welcomed me with such a professional yet personal manner. It felt like I’d known him for 20 years. Thanks again!! I’ll absolutely be coming back with my grandkids!

The Rosendale, a sentimental nostalgic place for a friend who brought us to enjoy good food, a great atmosphere, and reminisce on where he had gotten married! It was Halloween night which was interesting and fun to see all the costumes, kids and adults! Overall great fun was had, good food was eaten and a great atmosphere was shared!

I hired a room at the Rosendale for a 40th birthday party and everything was perfect. The venue is brilliant, the team is wonderful and the food is delicious! Plus they are family-friendly. We all had an amazing time!

Nice space, but the sea bream I had was very salty and oily, and was far less food than others which cost the same. Service ok.

Great place to enjoy a drink with family and friends

Lovely staff and great food. Little bit chilly inside but hopefully as it gets colder they will warm it up. Highly recomened. Fab Latin music playing - background music. Used my rastecard which made it even better however generally great value for money without.

We recently celebrated our wedding at The Rosendale, and we couldn’t have asked for a more perfect day! Everything was absolutely spotless, and the entire day went off without a hitch. Our guests were so well looked after, and they all thoroughly enjoyed themselves. The food was delicious and served right on time, making the experience even more memorable. A special shout-out to Krista for her incredible planning and support both before and during the event, as well as to Oscar, Holly, and the entire team for their dedication and professionalism. They made our day truly unforgettable, and we’re beyond grateful for everything they did. The Rosendale team is simply amazing, and we couldn’t recommend them highly enough!

We visited on Saturday evening and ordered pizza. Service was ok and pizzas were excellent.

One of my favourite pubs to go to, the staff are always so lovely and drinks served with perfection.

Hosted an event here for 120 people across the two private rooms upstairs. Event was easy to organise with the team, all done simply and clearly ahead of time and felt the team kept on top of things in the run up to the event, including frequent communication with myself. On the evening the team was great - extremely attentive to all the guests and were able to easily handle some additional requests/changes on the night which was great.

I held my daughters birthday at the rosendale and it was fantastic. Krista was the event manager and she helped with all my queries and made sure the day was perfect, so friendly too! The space looked beautiful, so happy we had the celebration at the rosendale! Event food for kids is pricey that is my only feed back would be good to have a few more options and a few more staff members to take orders outside perhaps. Thabk you so much!

We had our wedding at the rosendale at the weekend it was just the best day ever. The whole team were so amazing from the point of booking and for the big day. Always answering all our questions so promptly and just being so accommodating. All of guests had only amazing things to say. A special big thanks to Krista and Oscar, thanks for making our day so perfect! If you are thinking about having your wedding at The Rosendale then do it!!!

What a wonderful venue , we had our daughters wedding at the weekend 14th sept . Everything was perfect , staff , food , great atmosphere.. Thank you so much !!!!

If you want to enjoy a quiet meal on a Sunday I would give this pub a miss. Also we were disappointed with food ordered. Will not return.il

We had our wedding reception at the rosendale 07.09.24. The staff made our day so special, our guests were raving about the food and service and it was everything we dreamed of and more. Special thanks to the garden and upstairs bar staff who did a phenomenal job! This pub is a hidden gem wedding location!

Great place, lovely staff. The roasts are ok. The vegan option was just plain cooked rice and lentils in pastry? So dry and bland. What’s wrong with a well made nut roast or something a bit more creative? Feels like they didn’t know what to make for vegans and kind of just gave up.

I mean I do like the Rosy but it’s definitely only an eating place in my eyes and not ‘a local’ for a pint unless you’re outside on a nice day maybe. So it’s horses for courses I guess; evening out with the other half (food is good) spot on, few pints with a mate steer clear and obviously it’s not trying to be that pub(also posh prices even for London).

Booked a table for 1600hours arrived early so had a drink at the bar after telling staff we were there.At 1610 I asked what was happening and they said there was an unprepared table by the entrance to the bar.I was not happy with this and I was taken into the main restaurant .Again this table was unprepared.We was then given a menu and was told sorry no Sunday roast.We then had starters they were ok but the mains my wife had lamb in a bowl of gravey with peas I had belly of pork which was pre cooked cold and wet the best part was the potatoes.The meal was poor didn't bother with a sweet .Felt sorry for our server as she worked hard.

Shambles and really poor food. Sat down at 4:45. Eventually took an order at 5pm. To be told that none of the dishes we wanted to order were available (beef and chicken roasts). Would have been nice to have been told that when we sat down. We waited for our starters, but then extra Yorkshires we ordered for the roasts came out first. Bemused, we asked to send them back. Starters eventually came. They were ok but just focaccia / flatbreads so difficult to get wrong. Pork belly roasts then arrived. Roast potatoes were insipid and massively undercooked, pork belly was very tough and overcooked. Poor amount of veg (just some greens and a small half parsnip). No condiments. Had to ask for our extra Yorkshires to be sent out. Lamb was just in a soup of gravy. Bizarre. Kids food didn’t come with the starters as we’d asked and all restaurants should be in the habit of doing. Spoke to manager, very defensive in that they had been slammed, done 400 covers, blah blah blah. If they slowed down, did 300 covers and got decent food out they could charge a bit more and people would be happy. Seemed to be a lot of disgruntled customers. Staff seemed new and not particularly engaged. We haven’t been here for two years as the last time we dined there it was similar. Will pop back in 2026 and see if it’s changed.

A huge thank you for hosting the most perfect wedding for us!! The level of service was phenomenal - service with a smile from all staff, all day. Our guests loved the food. The Rosendale accommodated our every requirement. The day ran incredibly smoothly - and that was in large part due to the fact that the event was so well managed by Krista and all the staff at the Rosendale. It was the most perfect day - we could not recommend more highly.

Writing this on our one month anniversary of having our GORGEOUS wedding here at The Rosendale! What. An. Absolute. Dream. If you are considering this quirky cute pub for your wedding – we absolutely 100% recommend. 10/10 – you are in extremely good hands. Oscar managed our day – a wedding knight in shining armour for sure- we will sing your praises forever more. We saw a few pubs before - not one came close to the professionalism of The Rosendale. The food in general is lovely, I recommend having a lunch here just to taste the food if you are unsure. When we told the staff we were casually looking at the Rosendale for our wedding venue when having a Sunday lunch – they showed us upstairs and sent someone to help us answer any questions – this was a really good sign! I think wedding aside – this pub really does have wonderful staff. They are smiley, friendly, kind, helpful and genuinely take pride in what they do. This really did feel like the missing piece of the puzzle when we looked at other wedding venues. On the actual day – they surpassed all expectations – we have had many compliments from our wedding guests on how lovely the staff were and how accommodating. Every guest said they felt so special and looked after – as a bride – this is music to my ears. My glass of prosecco was always topped up, eldery guests were especially looked after - as soon as Oscar saw me arrive and I was on my own he asked me “who do you want with you right now” and got me a drink and promptly sought out my sister. It was the small things like this – which honestly make all the difference on a day you have been planning for over a year. We both feel lucky and grateful to the team for genuinely the most beautiful day of our lives. The communication into the lead up to the wedding was brilliant – we always knew what was going on and they definitely run a tight ship. Sidenote, the wedding PDF answers so many questions – I can’t tell you how many times I clicked it- bare this in mind with the venue you choose – you want them to have a document like this. I remember querying something about the room dimensions and this being added to the PDF afterwards– the follow through is there from the team. Very honest staff regarding budget for alcohol, when thealcohol wasn’t drunk downstairs – it followed the party upstairs and vice verse. They added our names onto a special board which we had no idea about, this was a lovely cute touch. 80 to eat on the round tables was a bit of a squeeze – but for the dance floor and garden moments – this felt absolutely fine. Also the way they run the day – ceremony, garden interval, wedding lunch, garden interval, reception – this WORKS! You can do it all in one wedding venue – I cannot tell you how many guests loved that there were no coaches, no buses, no faff – it was brilliant!! These garden moments really broke up the day too – it was such a cool, easy- going, relaxed and fun vibe for the day. Decorations wise, we went pretty heavy on them – staff spent 4 hours the day before putting up our tassles on the ceiling and accommodated this for us – we are still so grateful! I loved how our tables were set up and how everything looked – there is an artistic eye here. There is care, delicacy and intention – this was duly noted by everyone. The food was complimented by all, portions were very generous – we chose lamb and veggie risotto. The wood fire oven pizzas are a must – they are SO tasty! Can’t truly thank the staff enough, especially Oscar who was an absolute diamond – would recommend anyone to choose The Rosendale for their special day. Praveena and Sky.

I just celebrated my 60th Birthday upstairs in the gorgeous private room, Krista, Oscar & team were amazing, the food fabulous, nothing was to much trouble, they catered to our every need, please book if you have an event you will not be disappointed

Lovely roast and the fish and chips meals was lovely,I really recommend. Jan and Yogo we're very welcoming, everything we needed was spot on Thank you guys. Will definitely going there again.

Was an excellent establishment a year ago but everything appears to have gone downhill. A number of regular drinks was absent from the bar and the snacks we had was mediocre.

Maybe the finest pub in West Dulwich. Highly recommended.

Lovely pub, very poor experience with the food, which came out cold despite returning it to the kitchen twice, and the management who refuses to honour their advertised August discount on technicalities.

Be warned - the August 50% only applies if you scan the QR code, not just booking in advance. “You should have read the small print” is just not satisfactory. Way to upset locals. Even the staff said they had to tell 50 people the same thing today alone! Food was also cold.

I booked the West Room upstairs for my 40th birthday party. Can definitely recommend for a similar occasion, the communication up to the event was great. The buffet options were great - had so many comments about how delicious the food was. The staff on the night were really accommodating and helpful - made the night run really smoothly. We just plugged in my laptop for music - sound system was great, and bonus that we could keep dancing until 1am (unlike other local venues I looked at).

Really lovely family friendly pub with great garden and play area for kids. Had my birthday here and the staff were lovely too.

My wife and myself - together with a visiting family member from California - paid a return visit yesterday to the popular (and I mean populist) Rosendale Pub in West Dulwich. Our previous visit was a mid-week one in March for an early dinner/supper when the property was relatively quiet but on this occasion it was a Saturday evening and it was very busy - including a large Reception in the main outside area (not the beer garden which was equally busy!). Nonetheless, service over dinner was excellent, as was the meal itself - with the generous Chicken Schnitzel (accompanied by coleslaw & aspen fries) certainly hitting the spot. We’ll be back but most probably mid-week!

About a month of so ago, I decided to try out a different pub for a change and was pleasantly surprised. The staff are extremely dedicated to giving the best customer service possible, The food was absolutely delicious, I can recommend the steak! The Martell port and the brandy went down a treat, the whole experience was 10/10, the people who work there clearly enjoy their job and really make the Rosendale such a lovely place to be. Jann and Gianna worked so hard and provided service with a smile, they were happy to make adjustments to our order and just brilliant at their job, also thr manager Rebecca was amazing too! I look forward to planning my next visit.

Where do we start?! We had our wedding reception at The Rosendale yesterday and had the best time! We booked over a year ago, and communication has been great. But I must say that main reason we booked was due to the manager Oscar. From our first time meeting we had so much confidence in him, it was clear he had a lot of experience but more than anything it was clear he wanted to make our day as special as possible! On the day everything went so well and smoothly! Especially with the challenge the weather gave to the team, they adapted so easily in response to the rain! All the team who were running the wedding were excellent. But special shout out to Gianna who was incredible! She did everything she could to help! But what really impressed me was, (without any prompting) she started switching on our foam glow sticks and handing them out to our guest on the dance floor. And when the room got toasty she started handing the fans out. I never would have expected it and shows how Gianna went above and beyond for us! Another shout out to Marco on our bar, who was just fab! His energy was infectious! Overall, we just had the best time! So the biggest thank you to Oscar and his team for doing everything to make our day so special! Thank you!!

The food is great and the staff are lovely you get a great welcome and the pub is in a good location

We had dinner, the menu was extensive and the food very good. I had the fish & chips which were well prepared. The staff were friendly and attentive. There was a quiz night going on at the far end of the bar away from the restaurant end that appeared as being well attended and added to the atmosphere. Also having been before I know to be a great place for a Sunday roast. There is both inside and outside seating.

Used this place as a central meeting up point. The staff were very very helpful and friendly. They deserve a 6 stars!

My family and I returned to Rosendale on the bank holiday Monday after avoiding for awhile hoping things would have improved from our last visit. Unfortunately we were very disappointed. As it was a Monday they had a pub quiz on which made it very very noisy when you are having your dinner. Anyway we started with two sharing plates, the Camembert and garlic bread which were both good but the main courses were not so great. My son’s burger was dry, my husbands pizza was missing an ingredient, and my lamb was tough. On the one positive side, my daughters enjoyed the burger the burger they shared. The final straw for us was that they decided to close the kitchen without giving the kids an opportunity to order desert. All in all we won’t be going back in a hurry.

A great pub with a lovely roast dinner on a Sunday. Good little outdoors area for smaller children, friendly staff. Only negative was the online booking system - my friend who booked ended up having to call to get a reservation confirmed as there was no reply after 2 days. But that was the only negative. Will be back.

Went after the funeral for drinks and light refreshments , staff very very helpful and efficient.

About 24 of us took the smaller of two upstairs functions rooms for a Sunday lunch party. The food was very good and the service excellent. There is a lovely outside area which the children enjoyed. Fantastic pub which even has Timothy Taylor Landlord. It was very busy at Sunday lunchtime but I have been there at other times when it's not so busy. Thoroughly recommend this pub.

Initially, this place boasted excellent quality, but lately, it's been a letdown. My recent experience was far from satisfactory - I ordered a medium rare steak with peppercorn sauce, but what arrived was well-done. A replacement was given, but again it was overcooked, tough, gristly and came without the peppercorn sauce. We wanted dessert but by the time we were offered it the kitchen was closed. The young lady serving us was disinterested and inattentive, we wanted to leave and pay but could not get her attention despite making efforts to do so.

I just love this place. Lovely venue and staff.

I love the rosendale ! Have been going for months and it is our family favourite. Great service from Beth and the team 🙏 They have really made it a proper ‘go to’ local - delicious pub grub and great wine list. It’s tough in the current climate and they continue to do an exemplary job - best pub locally . Could not recommend it more highly :)

The Rosendale has definitely gone downhill with a few things in particularly the service. Food wasn’t great at all. My partner got food poisoning from the fish and was really unwell! The sweet potato fries were underdone but the camerlised onion tart was ok.

Staff were extremely abrasive and rude( this dose not include the barman who was the complete opposite!). Since I haven't been in a while, the menu has changed slightly. I went for the dbl burger. To say the meal was a badly done Macdonalds is an understatement. Stale brioche bun. Bland dry paties and average frys. Not a shadow of what it used to be. In fairness my partner did enjoy her pizza.

Good vegan options, including onion tart as a starter, a burger and a tagine. I enjoyed the tagine very much - chickpeas, couscous, carrots, apricots - a very nice meal.

The manager (?) in a white shirt was very rude to our party today - we had popped in after school for a few drinks and a bite to eat before heading to the garden. When the kids were being a bit noisy (literally they shouted for 2 minutes) we we were making our best efforts to ask them to keep the noise down - which they did. Despite this the bar manager took it upon himself to tell me it “was a pub not a playground” though at this point the majority of people in the pub were there after the school run & was just really abrasive in how he said this. I totally understand that we need to keep the noise down for other punters but I was really taken aback by his tone which was over the top. Really disappointing as I’m often there and I’ve had great service from the other staff members - but this individual really let the team down.

My wife and myself paid our first visit to West Dulwich and - together with two other family members (one of whom now resides there) - we had a dinner at their favourite Pub The Rosendale which is easily found on Rosendale Road! We were there for an early dinner and, as such, at 1700 hours had no problems finding a nice table. Unlike some of the recent Reviews, service was excellent and both our drinks and food orders were promptly taken. I certainly much enjoyed my Shoulder of Lamb - served with honey carrots, green vegetables and roast potatoes - which was extremely tasty and tender. All in all, a most enjoyable first visit to the Rosendale which I should gladly repeat.

Came to the Rosedale to celebrate a birthday, using the room upstairs. Good space , clean environment and good drink service from one of the bartenders, Oscar downstairs.

Would not recommend. We organised a family wake here. The food was bland and portion sizes were relatively small. But the worst thing was that when we went to settle the bill at the end of the event, it was 25% more than the price that had been confirmed over email, coming to £670 in total. Staff told me that prices had been raised in the two weeks since the booking was made. But nobody had bothered to let me know, either in advance, or even on the day. Instead, we were presented with an unexpected and unwelcome bill at the end of a very sad and emotional day for my family. Staff couldn't even do the courtesy of looking me in the eye. Awful, awful experience.

Unfortunately we had a really poor customer experience at The Rosendale and were sorely disappointed. We visited The Rosendale twice in January. Upon arrival, there was a waitress at the bar doing something on the EPOS screen. I waited a minute or so then proceeded to walk over, said good evening and if I could be seated with my guests. She turned and looked at me with a frown, did not say a thing, then called another member of staff and mumbled something. The other member of staff was little more pleasant, until she took our orders and brought our food. She just looked like she did not want to be there! Most of the staff there are young people who do not have much expertise in good customer service, walking around with sour faces! It makes such a difference to be greeted with a smile and served by someone who actually wants to be there. Will not be returning anytime soon!

We attended a wedding at this Pub. The ceremony and a sit-down vegetarian lunch were held on the upper floor of the Pub. The mushroom tart (appetizer) was outstanding. It was followed by a very mediocre red pepper stuffed with lentils and cheese. Unfortunately this had absolutely no flavor and the lentils were hard and needed to be cooked some more. My cousin took some pity on me and shared her Sweet Potato and Kale Wellington. That was quite tasty. The desserts were good..a vegan creme brulee and a chocolate brownie with ice-cream (I had one bite of each). After lunch we hung out in the winter garden. There were heaters but it was a cold and windy day. I would not recommend this to anyone. There was another ceremony in the evening with a vegetarian buffet, and later on some pizza. This food was okay. The venue is really nice for a wedding. The staff were helpful and did a great job. There was dancing and music until 1 am. And everyone enjoyed themselves.

Do not believe reviews claiming this pub is dog-friendly. After being initially barred from entering with our dog, having come by with him 10 days previously without a problem, my partner and our dog were begrudgingly allowed to come in on the condescending proviso that dog was well behaved and didn't bark (he is, and doesn't). Meanwhile, no-one bothered to check on my partner's order as he sat there for an hour with members of our extended family, waiting to be served. Please make your policy on dogs clear, Rosendale. It's rude and off-putting to be treated this way.

A mistake was made with the order and when simply and politely asking for it to be rectified, the server Rebecca seemed adamant to make me feel although the mistake was my fault and responded with “well did you read the menu” with an almost rude teenage like attitude…It quickly became an awkward back and fourth and the server Rebecca started to speak street slang at me, calling me “bruv/bro” completely intimidating, waving her hands in my face, standing over me, it was so uncomfortable I have never experienced such awful service. I am in disbelief… she then went to rectify the issue and upon returning I politely asked for her name as I knew I needed to write this review and send a letter to management about the situation. She gave me her name and as she walked away, I said to my mother quietly across the table, I will leave a review about this. Rebecca turned around and stormed back to our table and said “WHAT DID YOU SAY”…. She was removed from serving my table and the manager Robyn quickly came to aid and was very helpful (Thank you for your kindness Robyn) Be warned of Rebecca serving tables at the Rosendale. Horrible young lady and she dose not reflect this lovely pub. The pub is great I have been a customer for ten years and it’s a shame they have someone like this working at the establishment.

Had a great experience at the Rosendale pub today great service and really nice food. There was an incident on another table where a customer completely overreacted it seemed, even threatening a server called Rebecca with physical violence at one point. ‘If she comes back here I’m going to fight her’ seems like her problem more than anyone serving food. This was even after they were offered their meal for free. Luckily the staff dealt with this extremely disturbing overblown incident very professionally so it didn’t ruin the whole meal. Nothing a great roast, really nice bottle of wine and kind staff couldn’t fix however.

I'll start by saying I think for many people this pub would get 4 stars. There was some great food - my family loved the fish and chips they had and I had a great starter. But I'm a big steak fan and the quality of the meat was poor. Long story short, I thought I'd go back and try it again... same problem. So, decent place to go...for non-steak lovers.

My family and I celebrated my 60th birthday in the East room upstairs at the Rosendale, December 2023. We had a great time time, yes, it was busy as you come into the venue. However, in my opinion, this is good sign, as I had heard many good things about this venue. We had a sit down lunch and the room hosted 12 adults and, 3 grandchildren and a my great niece. The food was lovely, I had the pork belly with roast potatoes, and various family members had other options from the lunch menu, and I did not hear one complaint. The staff were polite, friendly and attentive, I felt nothing was too much for our party. Just be polite and friendly back. I would definitely eat and drink at the Rosendale again in the future. Thank you to the Rosendale for making my 60th celebration a fabulous one.

My family and I celebrated my son's 40th and my 60th birthdays at the Rosendale upstairs in the East room. My daughter in laws did all the organisation, and decorated the room with lots of pictures and lovely family photos. Yes, the downstairs is fairly busy but I expected this, as I had heard the Rosendale can be packed at certain times. However, in my opinion this is a good thing, as it seemed to be a very family friendly place. My family and I enjoyed various meals from the lunch menu, I had the belly post which was delicious, cooked well with and the crackling was how I like it. I did not hear one complaint from family members about their choice of lunch from the menu. The East room hosted 12 adults, and 4 children with ease for a sit down lunch, my family and I had a great time at the Rosendale, where the staff were polite, friendly and attentive. I would definitely go back to the Rosendale for drinks, and to eat in the future. Thank you to the Rosendale staff for making my 60th birthday celebrations a good one!

Very nice family pub with large outside areas for smoking and a big children's area. Food is quite good.

This is pub next to my house so it is very convenient to go to but every time the stuff is so rude ( female stuff ) ! They have sarcastic comments and passive aggressive way of talking to us! Everything is a problem for them! Very disappointing !

This is my home away from home. I do not live in the UK, however, when I come back this pub makes me feel like I never left! From the great service (the best gravy in the northern hemisphere) to the bartenders that are always ready for a bit of banter it is amazing. 10/10

We were there for a wedding - upstairs venue absolutely freezing due to single glazing.

Came here with friends and family for a Christmas get together. The food and service was amazing. Staff were great with our kids and made us feel very welcome! Will definitely be back.

Seriously I think this is the best pub in SE London. The staff are always so helpful and polite which is rare! I have eaten there a few times and the food has always been delish. I highly recommend.

Had the Sunday roast which was spot on, definitely on the list of the best we've had, Yorkshire pud was enormous! Service was great too, really friendly. Was very busy when we went, but the lady on the door managed to find us a table. Really nice atmosphere. Would definitely recommend and will be back.

Absolutely love this place. All the staff are gorgeous and so friendly and attentive. Actually go above and beyond; love a Sunday roast when even if it’s packed - which it often is - staff are rushing around to fetch you any additional last minute requests - and always with a smile.

Rude front of house staff when we were trying to get our family organised, very stressed waitresses, rushed us to leave just as soon as people were eating, food absolutely mediocre, turkey dry, potatoes not fresh and dry also, only good thing about this place was the gravy. Would never return. Such rude staff.

Very very disappointing! Waited 40 mins for a drink. One of our starters was sent back twice as wasn’t cooked. Couldn’t have a cheese plater as they had run out of cheese 🤔. As for the Irish coffees they were in a wine glass about 2 cms coffee and 2 1/2cms cream. Not even measuring half a glass. Definitely will not be returning!!!

Lovely family-oriented pub, perfect for whiling away an afternoon. Above average Sunday roast, with good portion sizes, variety in accompaniments and typically well-seasoned meat. Gravy, stuffing and sauces a little bland for my tastes, but overall a decent meal in a very nice setting.

I booked a table of 8 for my birthday meal 1 month prior to the date we wished to attended. I never received a confirmation email only an email to say they have received the booking and it will be reviewed. I called a week before and they confirmed they did not receive the booking but managed to book us in. The day we went was a Sunday and our booking was for 3:30pm. When we arrived there was no table prepared for us and the women on the front desk was not very friendly or helpful, she informed us there was no table available yet and they could make a table in the pub section near the door. I asked if there was space at the back in the restaurant and she told me they were fully booked til 8pm. Frustrated, we told her we was going to leave and miraculously she managed to find us a table in the restaurant. We ordered from the Sunday menu but a few items eg. The pork belly, were not available. The lady who served us was sweet but the staff serving us kept changing. The atmosphere was extremely loud, and our table was uncomfortably close to the table adjacent to us. I ended up eating the turkey which was nice I do recommend, but it does not come with a Yorkshire pudding and the price for one was ridiculous. My siblings were not happy with their food and sent their food back, they ordered the vegan wellington. for the price and service I was not satisfied with the Rosendale.

The pork and Sausages was all out by 3pm which to me just feels like they really failed to prepare for the demand of the day. Considering they claimed to be fully booked I can't see why they wouldn't have anticipated needing more than what they ordered. The vegan roast option just felt insulting when I received it. Barely any food and Yorkshire pudding was an add on!? Also they tried to seat us behind the bar despite having booked a week in advance. It doesn't really seem like an area you should be eating with how loud and crowded it was there. Luckily they were able to seat us elsewhere.

Uff… one of the best beetroot ravioli I have ever tasted! Was here for a shoot and starving but the food was worth it! The main and the dessert was both delightful! They have an elaborate menu with good selections of both veg and non veg dishes. Highly recommend! Lots of seating. Always busy and the staff was soo soo kind & sweet. Little pricey but the taste makes you ignore the cost. Do visit. Proper my first place in Norwood and I am not a pub food person as post pubs serve frozen food but this was exceptionally good!

Honestly the best sunday roast i have had in a long time, if not ever!!! i got the pork and my mum got the beef and while both were incred, the pork was outstanding. the crackling was phenomenal and it was a very generous portion. we had dessert there too and some wine and prosecco, all of which was lovely. would genuinely travel back there for their sunday roast.

Fabulous meal tonight - great Steak and Guinness pie for £16. Very good quality filling and excellent pastry and veggies. Followed by the fun quiz night - nice way to spend a Monday evening.

Lovely characterful airy pub. Excellent food and service. Will be coming back! Highly recommended.
