Cindy was a great host for the brunch service was exceptional and attentive.

Have a great night usually , but this weekend was ok.. the reason is because certain staff members were barging me and my friend out the way whilst we have a drink in our hand, to get to the bar to then be dancing inappropriately with customers in the VIP area. Didn’t show professionalism in my opinion.

I was completely horrified by the service we received, the host was rude, blunt and clearly taking advantage of drunk guests to pry more money out of them by convincing them that they must pay more for what the booked.

The service is awful. Drinks served aren’t Genuine alcoholic branded drinks. Their coke tastes disgusting and staff are rude. This used to be a good place to party it has gone downhill.

Ashley was the most handsome waiter. Really attentive and eyes I could lose myself in. Great food and drinks. Definitely back for some Ashction 🦀

Staff are rude, so rude. SMOKING CIGARETTES WHEN YOU ENTER. After midnight the security on the door are only looking to scam people for money. Apparently it becomes COMPULSORY for only SOME to leave their coats and you MUST PAY £2 more on the door. Apparently, if you stumble once, you get kicked out after paying £20 entry fee and £15 for all double drinks. They are liars. Pious and ridiculous, with only excuses to help them when you question them. EVERY TIME. Avoid

Used to go to Aquum quite frequently back in the day and had some good nights in there and the place had a nice buzz and vibe about it ,it doesn't hsve that appeal anymore .My cousin wanted to go here for his birthday and was told by the security at the front door that him and his three friends would have to pay £20 each and that they would have to buy a bottle of spirits to gain entry 🤣🤣🤣🤣🤣. We ended up going Bubba oasis and having a great night 😁👌🏼👍🏼🙌🏽

Came on a Saturday evening and found the drinks were quite overpriced even for London and staff were quite 'aggy' on the door There no tables or seats that you were allowed to sit on after 10pm

We went for a SEGA 90’s Brunch and our host Cindy could not have been more attentive! She kept our drinks topped up, was on hand to help with any queries and really looked after us and made the day. The food was delicious! Amazing steak sandwich, generous helping of fries which were hot and service was fast. The retro gaming was so fun, old school Mega Drives with Sonic, Street fighter, mrs Pac man and loads more, made it a different experience and a lot of laughs! After the gaming we jumped in to the ballpit which was hilarious, you could also game from the ballpit! Funny, different afternoon out! Would recommend! Thank you Cindy!! Xx

I do not recommend this club the vibe was terrible felt like the workers where just watching all the time ready to throw people out the dj was awful the music kept cutting out for a good 2 minutes so there was silence when we left the bouncer at the door said to me finally your leaving which he wasn’t rude in the beginning when he was taking my entry money they are all for your money and make up prices as they go

This place is just waste of money - entry 10£ + £2 cloakroom, cocktails are rip off - paying 10£ for class of ice. No sitting area or tables (unless you pay for it), place badly maintained and- definitely not a place to spend your time and money.

My this place has changed... Went for works Xmas dinner/night. Waited for ages to bring food out, even then they brought some and others were waiting had to ask like 3 times. So we all ate at different times. When the food came out was dry chips cold, not what was expected. I didn't even eat it. So I thought ok I will drink (tasted watered-down)and enjoy the rest of the night. No the DJ was absolutely rubbish and miserable, said he played request he did not play one! If you are a grown adult that likes good vibes with decent music this is not the place for you, its full of young kids. They had some dead ball pit in there with squashed balls that looked like you may catch something in there,hate to think what would be underneath those balls looked like they have never been cleaned. I am a well rounded raver who has been to many pubs/bars/clubs I doubt I will be coming back any time soon. Very disappointing!

My Dark Skinned Partner And I Came Here For An Evening Meal Except We Was Made To Feel Unwelcome By The Staff To The Point That We Left. We Had Money In Our Pockets, We Was Both Sober, Well Dressed, Polite, Yet The Drunk White Couple Who Arrived 2 Minutes After We Left Were Treated Like Royalty!

I’ve produced my ID at this venue and they told me I need to come back later because I need to sober up. I am tee-total and have been since 2018. They let people that were drunk in. This is not the sort of reception I expect from a Venue that is charging for entry

Giuseppe was so fantastic and so fabulous- he is so lovely and the best thing about the venue. He is 11/20 and they are so lucky to have him - I hope they look after him properly. He was so knowledgable about spirits and I learnt so much from him- he made my entire evening and I would not come back without his expertise- I will be back just for guiseppe!

Door staff was rude. Didn't let me and my friend in due to gender discrimination. Very disappointed

First time here. We were looked after by Cindy. What a lovely, bubbly beautiful amazing woman. She made sure we were okay, brilliant service, very funny. We felt at home because of Cindy. She made sure our drinks were topped up before we finished them. Thank you so much for your amazing service x

Yesterdays Bottomless Brunch with my besties. I’ve not eaten, drank so much Prosecco and laugh so much in ages . We had the best day! Thank you Aquum in Clapham the service and the food was AMAZING and if you know me you’ll know I’m the biggest critic. 10/10 and can’t wait to go back… And to top it of the Ball Pit was hilarious 😂

Went out here last night to the club. Never met such rude door staff in my entire life! So aggressive unnecessarily and wouldn't let my two male friends in as there weren't enough females in our group (I am female and was there with another female). Paid £20 entry for a hot box with no where to move. Please save your money and don't bother

Where to start? Ok so first time I tired to go there was a group of us I think in total the cost was £80 to get in, only to get to the door and the security not like the look of one of the people that was with us and declined entry after we paid. Us being a group together we were obviously not going to leave our friend. We asked for a refund for the entry but was refused basically robbed us!! Ok whatever, tried to go again yesterday and this time we were told we HAVE to leave our coats and pay for cloakroom. Only one of us was wearing what I would consider a coat, I had a small cropped jean jacket on which the rude arrogant door woman insisted I couldn’t wear I had a short sleeve top on I tried to reason with her as it was bloody freezing. She was not having it and insisted I paid £2 before I even got to the door. Whatever I pay the £2 because I cba to argue once I was inside the was no way I was taking my “coat” off anyways, after paying she hands me a card for the cloak room, only to turn it over and see that it says “ complimentary cloakroom” that when I though you know what idc about the £2 I ain’t stepping foot in this place and spending my money the staff are rude & the establishment is just there to rob you!! Stay clear there’s plenty other better places in Clapham :)

Went for the bottomless “90s retro gaming” brunch. It was a complete scam, they had 3 extremely tiny TVs with a full range of 2 working games in total. Completely overpriced.

Absolutely put off by the ripp off illusion of a cocktail which is a glass full of ice and less than a third of liquid, £12 I've never felt so violated, i want a full refund and management should be ashamed!! I've had cocktails all over London and I've never seen such a scam

A nice rooftop and venue that could be so much better than the awful place it has become. Unfortunately, aqquum seem to be the cause of daily vicious fights which begin by their club-goers. I don’t know if it’s a problem with lack of security, feeding already-drunk people with more alcohol or simply part of their brand to allow this frankly disgusting behaviour but it is so regular and the police are literally there every single night wasting public funds. I live locally and have an album of videos on the horrendous alcohol-fuelled fights there. Fix your security problem and problem drinking issues and spare Clapham the danger. The bass on the music is way too heavy as well and disturbing to residents living streets away. Fine to have loud music at a club but not this extreme bass - think about local children, elderly and animals please.

Live nearby and there are fights and arrests every single week. People outside doing balloons and coke and picking fights all night. The venue/security needs to sharpen up its security or be stricter on who it lets in

An amazing experience with aquum, I hired out their mezzanine room for my 21st and everything was extremely smooth sailing since the get go. The DJ, the staff, even the magician, the night was definitely one to remember. Not to mention the amazing cocktails and the lovely videographer (Ronnie Martine) who produced an incredible video which I will keep forever! Terry was so accommodating since the first day I queried about the venue - he was extremely easy to work with and he went above and beyond to ensure it was the best night possible. I couldn’t have celebrated my birthday at a better place - Aquum see you for my dirty thirties?👀

Came for brunch with friends and really enjoyed ourselves, the food was delicious and service brilliant - Cindy in particular was so attentive, keeping our glasses full and really helpful.

I absolutely loved partying in Aquum. The staff are awesome especially Siobhan on the door. Such an unbelievable hostess who really ensures you have a great night and exceeds expectation. A true asset to the club. One of the bar staff also, I've forgotten his name but I think he's Brazilian. I'll find out next time I'm back. Bring on 2023.

Well best bar out in London Sergio was to me the best bartender smiling and having fun out there you should get him back there again

5 of us came for bottomless brunch on a Saturday and from the moment we got there staff were welcoming friendly and helpful. The food was tasty and well presented. Our server, a small lady with brown hair who I want to say was called Cindy..?? was exceptional, so lovely and always making sure our drinks were topped up. The restaurant was clean and had a good atmosphere. Really good value for money with the bottomless brunch deal. Would come back again!

had a great time with my friends but there was an annoying lady who stood inside the restroom selling stuff. i brushed my hair with the hairbrush that she had and she tells me i have to pay £2 for brushing my hair😭also told me i couldnt rinse my mouth in the sink after i threw up, like?? is she paying for the water bill?!😭💀dont recommend

Me and my friends went to Aquum bar to celebrate a birthday. Once arriving at the bar, the security noticed a birthday bag which I was holding that had a bottle of AU Vodka, and told me I had to keep it at the front desk. As the night went on, myself and the people I went with forgot to take it back when leaving the bar at the end of the night. Next day I went to the bar to inquire if the bag was still there, however the staff present that night was not there. So the manager said she would have a look herself, and came back saying it wasn’t there, we can’t find it. I had left an expensive bottle in their premises which they have misplaced and disregarded. I emailed and tried to contact them multiple times, but always got the same answer or no response at all. I am very disappointed of the standards of an high accomplished bar, being very dis organised and unprofessional. I will not be going back as I fear if I lost anything I would never find it again.

A few weeks ago i went there to celebrate someone’s birthday and i had a bottle of Au Vodka; i left the bag that night and tried to contact the bar the next day to get it returned back to me. I even went in person and spoke to the manager who did not handle the situation professionally and disregarded the complaint. The organisation is not good at keeping customers belongings safe, and have not compromised after they misplaced a £40 bottle of vodka. Very angry and do not recommend wasting money at this bar.

Hi, I recently visited Aquum Clapham, and what a great visit! We booked a rooftop terrace section and got food/drinks delivered to the table. Big shoutout to Cindy for looking after us, being warm welcoming! Always making sure the table was clean and food/drinks was on time. Manager worthy!!! :) Thanks guys!

We went there for a 90s games event, we didn't expect the food was also extremely good. The pool is fun even for us 30+ 😅 overall a nice place. The brunch was great, we would return

We paid £110 including 3 bottles of Prosecco for a 6 girls pVIP table for a birthday celebration. Ordered the food at 9pm and after 10pm we asked where the food was and then by magic 5 minutes later it appeared with all the food proper COLD and the natchos so soggy it was a porridge!!! We complained and the waitress said the chef had gone home and It was obvious that the food had been ready long time ago but nobody brought it to our table. We tried to eat it as we were hungry but barely managed to nibble a quarter so we gave up and asked for the manager. A very rude bald guy with a serious attitude came and argued with us and insisted we paid half even though he was taking more than half back to the bin. He made sure he had security by his side to be as intimidating as possible. Never ever stepping my foot in this rubbish place again! Customer service from hell… Stay away people! Ps. the waitress was polite and made an effort.”

I never really write reviews but I had a wonderful time here for my birthday. I had a lovely dinner on the roof top ( you need to try the steak and the fish cake). I got some free shots and they even brought out a birthday cake for me! I want to give a special thanks to Cindy for looking after us all night, you truly are the sweetest soul and you made my birthday! Thank you again Aquum!

Came here expecting a standard bottomless brunch but it wasn’t , until Cindy greeted us! never have a felt more welcome and at home. Iv been to a lot of these bottomless but it was class between the magician and the endless drink it was absolutely fantastic! Would highly recommend

Visited Saturday 17th for a birthday bottomless brunch. The food was delicious and the roof terrace nicely heated for a chilly day. The two ladies serving us were FANTASTIC! Cindy went above and above to cater for all our needs and our drinks were topped up continuously. They were super friendly and nothing was too much trouble. We were a large group of 14 and the staff handled everything superbly. Thanks to Cindy and the team once again for being so friendly and helpful, we all had a brilliant time!

Appreciated the warm welcome and polite and jovial customer service. Came with friends and a 3 year old which they catered too and also endured his antics in a very polite way. Food was nice and loved that the bar staff made a drink I requested by informing them of the ingredients. Wish I knew his name but he was very kind. Place was clean including toilets. Only downside was the seating area as material on chair was warn and torn.

Went here for my birthday for a bottomless brunch! We had 2 ladies serving us, Cindy & Molly, they were amazing! So attentive and I’ve been to some bottomless brunches where I’ve had to chase waiters/waitresses to get a top up but these ladies were amazing. I only ever got half way through my drink and they would be there topping up my glass! Food was good too! Could not fault it, I will definitely be back!

Misleading menue as we try to oder mezza for two and the staff informed us that it's for one, I have informed her that the mezza is for two as it's written in the menu but the management came and told us that she can offer us half of the mezza, what a joke!!!

On Sunday my friend decided on dinner to celebrate 40th birthday. The chef on the day ruined the food with excess salt on chips and chosen main dishes ruining the meal. From 10 guests 25% of the group did not finish eating for this reason. Another guest had an unacceptable wait for his food...over an hour after there was a mix up with the order. Considering we were the only party inside this location and waiting staff had been reminded several times it was forgotton. Another guest complained and you could clearly see that the chicken slovalki was undercooked and raw and has to be sent back to the kitchen. When it arrived again it we without any of the main sauce which makes it a meal and after waiting so long decided not to eat it because it was too dry. The whole meal experience was very underwhelming and distasteful not to mention disappointing. Highlights were the manager acknowledging the shortcomings, the cocktails were great for happy hour and the deejay vibes who lightened our mood after disappointing meal out.

We booked a bottomless brunch. The food was 3/5 at best but our waitresses made it a 5/5. One was Cindy and I'm not sure of the other ladies name but both of them went above and beyond and made our experience.

Your main door supervisor needs training on how to talk to the public properly. He is very rude and very petty! Was there Saturday night and did not appreciate his negative attitude. Drinks are over priced and i think they need to change their security firm however bar staff waa great and very positive and friendly and helpful.

This is the place to be in Clapham Common. Brunch, cocktails and late night dancing. Good music definitely recommend if you want a fun night out 💃🏻

I went here for a friend's birthday, the atmosphere and the roof terrace were lovely. Thankfully there were heaters up there as well. We pre-ordered everything as they make you do for groups so we expected it to arrive quicker than it did The mixed starter was amazing, definitely recommend the falafel and the pitta bread with lots of different dips, if you do have allergies this place will try to accommodate. Our server didn't know what was in certain dips so we had to be super careful with the allergy sufferers at the table. The calamari was so disappointing so I would say avoid it. For my main I chose the fish cakes. I wouldn't recommend it, the poached egg was fully cooked and the sauce which I think was hollandaise was very sour. The fish cake wasn't anything special either. Most of the staff were pleasant but as some people pulled out last minute they tried not to give us the drinks we had already paid for. Also there's a female door staff that is quite aggressive and rude, we were offered tequila shots as an apology. Left early because that ruined my night.

Very disappointing dinner for my sisters birthday. Have been here many times and previous rating was a 5 star review but not this time. It took way too long for my drinks order to be taken. The food took even longer with items missing and some food not cooked to our liking although specified. The only redemption was that we were not charged for some items and an amended bill was given. I'm hoping this is just a blip but not sure I'll be back here for dinner again as the staff didn't seem happy either!

This place is one of the hottest clubs in Clapham Central. Situated on the main High Street it's not too far from other places such as restaurants and other clubs.

Staff were very rude never felt so unwelcome . We left and had much better fun and service elsewhere

Enjoyed until yesterday when they made my American friends who joined letter than me and some of our friends buy a bottle to get on for £200 as well as charge them a £20 entry fee when we paid £10. So bad!!

Came here for the first time, if I’m honest I don’t think I’ll be back. The staff at the door is what’s the problem. The young blonde security lady who is security was lovely. But everything else is the problem.

Went here with some friends. We really liked the place but then the waitress made us feel a little uncomfortable because we ordered lots of small plates between us rather than small plates and main meals. We then felt a rather frosty atmosphere from her for the remainder of our visit so decided to move on to somewhere else. Liked the music vibes in there and great cocktails.

Poor experience of attending the bar with several colleagues after work. Shame considering that prior to this, I attended with a friend with no issues. Arranged a table and told that it was only available until 6pm. Noone had arrived by 6:10 asked if we could move when they arrive, told no. Rushed to with move us and weren't particularly motivated to allow us alternative tables, considering the bar (very large one) was literally empty. Failed to bring the correct drinks in the first part of the order and real reluctance to show any form of genuine customer care. Suspect that its due to the fact that some the colleagues didn't resemble their core clientele. Not made to feel welcome at all or that our orders were appreciated. Refused to pay service charge and decided to visit Bread and Roses around the corner. Live music, nice customer service and loads of room to accommodate us in the beer garden. We were also told by other colleagues who eventually joined us, that the table we were vacated from was still empty 45 minutes later. Also note that the toilets are in need of MAJOR renovation. Never again.

For me failed as a restaurant and a night club. No one finished their meal, which is disappointing as they don't have an extensive menu, most places should be able to cook a steak to medium rare. The DJ played a stream of hit rnb and dancehall samples with no theme. Then settled on 2020 American hip hop/rap which was aimed at a very young audience demographic. Not for me as an unrelenting barrage ensued, but YMMV.

They take your money and then exit you from the club. Elvis grabbed my friends arm and dragged him outside without explanation. Take your money and become a shambles.

If I could give no stars then I would. Fortunately, for Aquum they are able to receive 1 star from me. Why the low rating you may ask? First of all, customer service, whether that be from the person at the door, the bar, the table, or toilets. I would expect a friendly, welcoming, and positive service. I was stunned by the rude, no emotion staff that was there, especially as my friend had booked a table. (Though there shouldn't be any difference if we had a table or not) I thought maybe that the first staff member I had spoke to just had a bad day, which I understand. However it was across the board. Every staff member I had interacted with, had a very negative aura and were very blunt with their words. The service we received had an extremely long waiting time. Ordered some drinks and took about 25 mins to come to the table. For a table booking I would have expected faster service. Even the person that I assume was supposed to handle our table orders, didn't check if we needed anymore drinks throughout the night, we had to go to the bar and wait in long queues to be served. For an added 12.5% service charge, when you have table booking, im extremely disappointed. Drinks are obviously a rip off. But I guess that's with any club. The only good thing about the whole night was the music. For some constructive points: Customer service needs to improve. Be more positive, and friendly. If a staff member is supposed to be assigned to a table, ensure they are approachable, and they actually check on the table once in a while. So to conclude, if you ask me would I recommend going to Aquum for a night out, the answer would be no. (Assuming you care about the customer service and are booking a table) If your not bothered and jusy want a night out with good music, then sure Aquum will be okay to go to.
