When this Fish & Chip shop reopened about 2 years ago under new management, freshly revamped & called Hooked it all looked very promising ! The shop was clean & inviting & the cod & chips here were nice, not wonderful but miles better than the old Fish & Chip shop Sea Lion which was awful. Now I'm sorry to say it has deteriorated badly. I went in tonight just for beef & onion pie & chips and the place is dirty looking counters and the meat on the donar kebab spike looked disgusting like it had been there all week ! The pie was ok but you can't really ruin that as it's just heated in its pack, however the chips were horrible greasy and overcooked !! What has gone on here ! Such a shame as it's my local but I won't come here again ! Broadway Fish & Chip ShopBexleyheath by far & away best fish & chip shop in area, lovely tasting cod & chips, further for me but well worth it !

Wings London as the name suggests specialises in chicken wings. And with five flavours to choose from, you'll certainly manage to get your fix, while mixing things up with strips and wraps, if you're in and around the area. The restaurant itself is aesthetically pleasing, ultra clean, and very welcoming from the outside. As for their menu, then it's been kept simple enough, with everything made to fit on a single sheet. But, what makes this place stand out from the crowd is that they offer diners the choice of having their chicken wings, strips and wraps either fried or grilled. Juxtapose all that to the five marinations available and, according to our maths, that makes at least 30 different combos to try (that's not including the vegan options). With hardly any other Halal restaurants on the long stretch of Boston Road, Wings London is certainly worth a visit if you're in the area. I booked a table for the 03 February at 18:00 for a special occasion for my wife and I which they confirmed by when we arrived it was closed and we hadn’t been informed and couldn’t get a table in any nearby restaurants.

Arrived at venue and parked for free on front of property. There are only a few spaces, so parking is limited. No one at bar on walking into venue so had to wait to be seen. Shown to room 4 above pub. Stairs were not steady, no hand rail. Room itself was disappointing but clean, as was shared toilet and bathroom. I had asked for decaf tea and coffee which they had provided in room. TV in room 4 was not pluged in to socket or TV aerial and there was no remote control. On plugging in there were no stored channels on TV. WiFi in room was a poor signal. Saw the kitchen and decided not to eat here.

Amazing place to go to..... dangerously delishous! Took my wife here to help with pregnancy cravings and she absolutely loved it!

Great cocktails, good atmosphere there is a nice little chill out area where you can enjoy a cocktail before you get seated. The quality of the filet and the burger is high and there is a large selection of wines from the new and old world. Strongly recommended for a boys night out.

We dined here in October having watched the series was very excited to try, we got there about 45 mins early (raining outside) was told by the groud floor receptionist of the Blue Fin Building we were too early and to get a coffee in one of the shops outside, but was letting people behind us sit down and wait, so we ignored her and waited, 15 mins later we were allowed up to the bar/When we went into the restaurant we were advised 2 of the chefs (Ping Coombes and Jack Lucas) we had paid to see had called in sick, we got the 2013 winner Natalie Coleman instead, she seems a lovely lady but when you are expecting to see all 3 2014 finalists it was very disappointing, they gave us her receipe book to recompensate, overall the food was lovely and would like to try next year hopefully with a bit more sucess !!

Pret is always my go-to for semi-healthy and fresh lunch on the go when I am in the city. Their coffee is good, and I love their hot meatball wrap.

Our second visit and once again, lovely. The owners should be commended on their staff who are all so friendly and helpful. Our room was really nice with a very comfortable bed and 3 pillows each. The spa stands out. Very luxurious and relaxing. Breakfast offers plenty of choice and the eggs are a must - the eggs are laid by the hotel hens! Can’t wait to visit again!

Stopped here on Saturday for Full English Breakfast. Was beautifully cooked and presented. Very nice cup of English tea. Nice service. Would easily stop here again.
