The best breakfast in Bury. The food is fresh, high quality and expertly cooked by Mandy and her team. The staff are all lovely and the whole place has a chilled vibe. Perfect for a casual meet-up with friends and family.

The staff are really friendly and welcoming. The food was delicious and plentiful and at a reasonable price. We will definitely be going there again when we visit Bury Saint Edmunds

I have lived close to Haverhill for over 15 years and for the first time I thought as I was going to the Dentist, I'd have a big fry up breakfast just in case it was going to be some hours before I could eat again. I was made to feel welcome on entry and found a table easier, (this was about 11am). I ordered the number 1 and had a cappucino whilst I was waiting. I could hear them cooking it and after 15 mins out in came and it looked lovely. I was not disappointed, very tasty indeed. I was asked when I was going to pay what I thought and I said it was yummy and I hope to be back again soon. Well done Amber Cafe. Keep up the excellent work.

Went to the cafe on a Friday prior to a meeting to grab a sandwich and read up on some stuff for the meeting and was served by a lovely young man that was incredibly friendly, welcoming and helpful. I was able to sit in peace and do what I needed to do whilst enjoying lunch.

Don’t expect smiles in this place, but expect waiting for 10 min just to get tea in a dirty cup

Wonderful, cosy, friendly 15th Century countryside pub. They don’t come much more authentic than this. Nice garden too for sitting outside in the warmer months.

Amazing food at an affordable price. Their Doner Kebabs with BBQ or White sauce are one to live for. Inhuman amount of chips if you order cod and chips. The cod unfortunately gets bagged with a lot of frying oil so it gets soggy during take out :( but otherwise very generous portions!

Today we went to the Marquis Suffolk for my Granddaughter's 18th Birthday and what a fabulous time we had food was beautiful and service was excellent. I would highly recommend a visit here . The new update is so lovely. Staff are amazing. Nobody new it was her birthday as she wouldn't let us tell them because she is shy. Thank you so much for making it memorable

Took advantage of the Friday night £35 dinner offer, and it was lovely. I have not been to dinner at The Leaping Hare for several years, as lunchtimes have always fitted in better with my schedule. I will be going again, as I had forgotten how pretty the barn is at night. You can see it for some distance as you drive through the fields. Inside the atmosphere is quite magical as the lighting (not to mention the stove) provide a unique ambience. The menu choices were more than adequate, and the service as always was just right. It was yet another memorable event at The Leaping Hare. Thank you all.

We had 2 coronation chicken jacket potatoes and 2 coffees we had to send them back as the potatoes were cold, even when they came back they were slightly better but still not particularly hot we couldn't be bothered to complain again so we ate and left if you can't get a potato hot there's really is no hope pleasant staff and lovely surroundings but the food was very poor

Lovely looking pub and friendly staff. Food is ok but possibly not ‘posh nosh’ if you were after something special.

Lovely lunch with decent portions. Had a jacket with chili which was very tasty. Staff friendly and helpful. Relaxed atmosphere. Initially a little chilly but they had just opened on a rotten first day of February. Open grate fire but wasn't in use at the time. Good value for money.
