Good Pub. Good food. I ordered a pint & a burger deal. The burger was delicious & hit the spot. I also would recommend the Katsu chicken loaded chips.

Great spot for drinks and best food any Green King has to offer. Lots of screens to watch sports. The beer garden is great and they have a play place for the little ones.

Definitely a great place to have a late dinner. The steak was delicious with peppercorn sauce and a pint of Guinness. Highly recommend

The girlfriend and enjoyed our visit here ,great and friendly service from Kieran (he is a credit to this pub),he couldn't have been more helpful. I had a burger with fries,onion rings and coleslaw,the girlfriend had a chicken burger with hot honey ,fries and sweetcorn ,we didn't have to wait long for our meals which were served up hot and they very tasty. I would definitely recommend this pub for food and service .

i don’t even know where to start… ordered three plates for myself. firstly , was out of half the menu.. no halloumi , no chicken bites , no chicken tacos. The bbq wings were unseasoned , just had a bbq sauce on the side. just to mention this arrived 20 minutes before my family’s “mixed grill” furthermore , their meals were overcooked, microwaved rubbish. the peppercorn sauce barely lined the pot. Also, they forgot my chips for the three plates which i received much later. the chicken was dry, sausage was inedible, peas looked frozen still the fact this cost £60 is just disappointing, food took an hour to arrive ! not even busy in there.

My wife and I ordered burgers, waited an hour (granted the place was not busy) for them to come out overcooked, but chewy at the same time. Which makes me think that they forgot, then decided to microwave the burgers to heat them back up, because the bread was also extremely chewy and the salad wilted. Most Green King pubs we go to are nice (which is why we decided to come here), but save yourself time and money and divert your trip to Dog and Partridge instead.

Pleasant staff. CAMRA literature but very limited choice of real beers. Aspalls cider good. Bring your own sandwiches! A horrendous wait for food to arrive today; 80 - so needless to say steak was overdone... No indication of any particular delay when ordering :(

Visited this evening for a drink after walking the dog with my 13 and 11 year old daughters, got ignored at the bar while the bar tender looked at his phone. Got our drinks and sat in the garden only to witness a middle age man knock a teenager clean out and over a wall. While I can understand that the staff cannot be held responsible for the behaviour of the customers, what I found absolutely shocking was that nothing was done about it and there seemed no urgency to call the police or deal with the situation. We left as it only seemed like things were going to escalate very quickly. Get a grip on your customers and manage these situations, your supposed to be a family friendly pub.

Great food but 5 onion rings for £2.99 total rip off could not believe when they turned up apart from that the steak pie was amazing

Robyn and the team made me feel really welcome. I arrived drenched as it was raining very heavily and then went out their way to get me hot coffee and delicious tacos to warm me up. Lovely atmosphere in the bar with Cheltenham Cup playing , will be back hopefully on a sunnier day 😀

Treated to a beautifully cooked dinner on mother's day. Staff were friendly and accommodating. Relaxing atmosphere. My husbands only complaint is his garlic bread was only cooked on one side 🤣 Other than that, it was perfect.

Had a gammon steak at the spread eagle today I’ll give it 10 out of 10 lovely well cooked nice and juicy and family had burgers and mac& cheese all meals were hot and accurate for the big table we had all perfect very good service, especially from the young man Jay behind the bar very helpful. I will recommend it thumbs up 👍

Vegetarian option for snack was veggie meat balls or quorn sausage. If you don't like meat, meat substute is not really acceptable.

This is a great cozy spot! I came in on an afternoon for lunch. It was steadily busy and very welcoming. The cheeseburger is wonderful and I loved the food. I recommend this place!

Go in here a lot for drinks, food, this time I went with a crowd of work mates for a leaving do on Saturday night,we had an absolutely brilliant time thanks to Jay who was doing the disco the music was great and we danced till closing , had some great food, Alec and Robyn were behind the bar and done a great job keeping up with all of our order’s always with a smile, will definitely be back asap !!!!

We travelled from Gorleston to meet our family for a get together and a Sunday lunch on the 19th September. We were shown to our table and were very well looked after from start to finish by a very polite, friendly young man called Leon Tomas. He couldn't do enough for us. The food was excellent and it was a thoroughly enjoyable experience, one which we will certainly repeat AND will ask to be served by Léon Tomas again. An absolutely 5 star service.
