Popped in for lunch, haven't been for for prob 2yrs. Lovely chatty lady behind the counter. Went for the 'big boy breakfast', was told could take up to 20mins, wasn't an issue for me, freshly cooked food is worth waiting for! Was a lovely breakfast too! Nothing was greasy, good quality sausage & bacon, all in all - good changeable options, lovely food, great service...SMASHING!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Gente amable que sirve una buena variedad de helados, tés, cafés y aperitivos. Mesas fuera la mera. Gran lugar para parar después de visitar la ciudad, o el área de juegos para niños.

Went for lunch, first (and last) time visitor. Service incredibly slow, no sense of urgency from staff despite the long queue. Sign next to soup stated dairy free option available so I asked if it was vegan to be told it contained butter. Butter is dairy! This could be so dangerous for anyone with a dairy allergy! I asked if there were any vegan options to be told ‘no’. Asked if any of the cakes were vegan, ‘no’. No apology from the very young, and bored looking assistant for the lack of a vegan option and certainly no smile or welcome. I find it hard to understand why there wasn’t a single vegan item on the menu. Latest figures (2024) state 4.7% of the adult population follow a vegan diet so I doubt I’m the only customer who has experienced this.

I had soup starter and pie main and my friend Fish and Chips. all for £48, with drinks. Well worth it. The present cooks are really good here, offering a manageable menu and serving it well presented. The parsnip soup was excellent and the beef and ale pie was full of beef in a light pastry served on the top of fresh vegetables. The server was fast, attentive and fun which made the dinning experience a rare pleasure. This is the second visit and the standard has been the same so we shall be going again

A picturesque pub located in an ideal spot on the Norfolk Broads boasting a fantastic garden and views across the water. I would imagine this would be a perfect getaway in the summer. 13 of us went for a Birthday meal (shame the weather was freezing) Lovely little pub with some quirks on the walls and bar located in the centre of the building. The team on hand were fantastic even though there were quite a lot of us. Most of us ordered the roast dinner, and had options of chicken supreme, pork, beef or the vege option. I had the chicken supreme and did not regret my decision. The chicken was beautifully cooked and came out look fantastic as well. I also ordered a side of cauliflower cheese which is served in a Yorkshire pudding! I loved the idea and who can say no to an extra yorkie!? My only slight issue with the meal is I would've liked the gravy thicker as it was a little too watery for me but did not do enough to stop me enjoying my meal. My sister in law had fish n chips which also looked and smelled amazing! There are kids options too and the portion sizes are generous. This is the second time we have been now within a year and I have to say this occasion was far better than our first visit. Now doubt we will be back again as well. A special shout-out to the girls running the floor that day as they were prompt, always on hand and very patient with the little ones running around.

We came here to celebrate my husband’s birthday in December and we were not disappointed! From our arrival to our departure, the service was amazing and all the staff we met were warm and friendly. The food was fab (I must recommend the duck leg, wow!!!) and we even got a complimentary birthday treat which just made our night. We won’t be waiting for another special occasion to make our next visit!

I like this pub. Traditional English place that serves their own beers, brewed on site. Priced respectfully; they don't take the Mick like some do.
