Popped in for lunch, haven't been for for prob 2yrs. Lovely chatty lady behind the counter. Went for the 'big boy breakfast', was told could take up to 20mins, wasn't an issue for me, freshly cooked food is worth waiting for! Was a lovely breakfast too! Nothing was greasy, good quality sausage & bacon, all in all - good changeable options, lovely food, great service...SMASHING!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

Gente amable que sirve una buena variedad de helados, tés, cafés y aperitivos. Mesas fuera la mera. Gran lugar para parar después de visitar la ciudad, o el área de juegos para niños.

Only stopped in for a quick pint. Manager was very welcoming and the service was great. Would be very happy to call it my local if I lived nearer

l went to the swan motel yesterday for lunch with my two aunts and uncle, as always it was lovely, we arrived just before opening time but was quite happy to wait outside, but the lady open early for us as my aunt has mobility issues and got us refreshments. really appreciated. The meal was excellent, hot, absolutely loads and really tasty. l wouldn't hesitate to recommend going to the Swan motel for food and the service was excellent.

I had the beef roast and the food was awful! The meat was cold, and really tough (Hurt my fingers with the pressure I had to put on the cutlery to try and cut the beef)l as I wasn’t given the correct knife) the Yorkshire pudding was burnt, cold and crispy, the veg was cold, The bacon was burnt and cold. The stuffing was dry and tough (And I had to pay £1.50 extra for it!) the food took nearly 30 minutes to come (And they didn’t look too rushed off their feet so no idea what they were all doing) I’m really not impressed! Kept hearing the staff chatting in the kitchen and coughing in the kitchen and as they were walking around the restaurant. (Really hoping they covered their mouths and washed their hands before handling the food!) the decor is lovely and has old train seats and tables which is nice, but the food is awful and I won’t be coming back

The Pulham Crown is a lovely pub and Pulham Market is lucky to have it. Low beams, beautiful log fires, lovely views across The Green in the summer and a refurbishment several years ago that transformed the property. Last night we took friends from Sussex for dinner, it being potentially hazardous due to the dietary needs of one diner. However, we needn’t have been worried. Our waitress was well versed in gluten and dairy free and explained such, very well, suggesting good staff training by management. On the down side we commented how, wherever you go these days the menu is made up of pizza, burgers and pies, even in restaurants. Also, beware, the wine is hideously expensive when by the glass. I ordered two pints of Wherry and two, admittedly large glasses of wine and the bill was an eye watering £27! For four drinks? Having said that, the environment is lovely, the staff apparently well trained and the food is excellent. Thanks for a lovely evening

I try to stay here when visiting Diss. This is a pleasant country Inn with rooms above . Nearby are nice restaurants, bars and shops. Most striking is the dark and silence, a special place

I booked for a double birthday celebration on a Sunday afternoon. We turned up and the pub was quite quiet and there was plenty of staff working. The first young lad to come over to the table apologised and said “sorry I’m not really here today” when i asked about the beer selection, so that was a great start. It certainly showed throughout the duration of the meal too. We had a table of 7 which I understand can be difficult if the restaurant was busy or you were understaffed but this wasn’t the case at all. All the waiting staff lacked basic skills for their job. Not once did any of them ask if our meal was okay or checked if we needed anything else during. My sister had almost finished her dinner before her side of cauliflower cheese had turned up so we turned it away. To then witness her take it over to the young lad who was serving us earlier while he was eating on his break. There seemed to be a massive arrogance about this pub that because of the location they can charge high prices and have diabolical service. I honestly would have had a better meal at my local Wether Spoons and saved half the money. Not to mention probably would have received the same level of service if not better. The food was okay but never worth the prices. The roast dinners had over cooked parsnips and portions were too small for the price. The so called peas or mushy peas with the fish and chips were brown and inedible and I’ve had better burgers from the side of the road. As we left the first apology we got was from either the owner or manager of some kind and that was just to say sorry about the cauliflower cheese. Just such a lack of awareness overall. Certainly won’t be rushing back.

Had a great time at the waterfront, sat together in the warm atmosphere, first time coming in definitely returning! Huge fan of the steaks, fast and seasoned perfectly! Look forward to the return!
