Great new layout! But pity they've shortened the butchery counter. Would be great to have takeaway coffees!

Always a good selection of meat and vegetables, we had lunch, which as usual, most enjoyable, friendly and attentive staff. We'll done.

The menu was varied, choice excellent and very well cooked and presented. Excellent value for money. Would definitely use again.

My wife ordered haddock and chips with mushy peas, tartare sauce and lemon which looked delicious and hot. The batter was quite light and crispy. I ordered the fish pie which consisted of salmon, prawns, smoked haddock and mussels, all of which were cooked to perfection and very fresh in a light sauce on a bed of creamy mashed potatoes. An addition to the fish pie was a fish goujon which unfortunately was overcooked and dry, the goujon was too dry to taste what fish it was. Not adding the goujon would have improved the dish. Having said that, the waiting staff were friendly and efficient and the meal was served in a timely manner.

Attended this morning for breakfast and would like to say although a nice meal it was disappointing that staff didn't come back to offer second drinks, especially as it's table service. Also you're handing out leaflets regarding Christmas Afternoon Tea and when I try to make the booking the waiter can see the 21st December is empty but is unsure what to do and upon asking his manager, we're told youre to busy, take a card and ring back!! I would like to say that's £240 you lost as I was bringing my full family. It would have taken no more than 5 minutes to make our booking. Customer Service is a must if you want repeat diners and free word of mouth advertisement.

I was merely the driver but, my wife loved it and bought many delicious home made products. Will call again on our way through Norfolk.

Popped in for quick light lunch on way home from 4* hotel stay - the service and food rivalled if not excelled. Will be back.

Myself and my partner came for breakfast. He had the full English and I had smoked salmon with egg. The yolks were beautifully coloureds my partner was incredibly impressed with the meat selection and overall we had a lovely morning breakfast. We would be intrigued to visit again.

Have passed many times but won't be from now on. Large and airy restaurant, made cozy with lovely dark colours and good lighting. Delicious " farmers breakfast " and good coffee. Farm shop well presented and clean. Local produce was very tempting.

Dropped by for lunch, not knowing what to expect. What a revelation! Very nice restaurant, good space between the tables, excellent atmosphere, welcoming staff. The short, imaginative menu featured local seasonal produce. My pheasant breast wrapped in streaky bacon with tasty roast vegetables, lentils and fondant potatoes was superb and my wife had one of the finest Caesar salads we've ever eaten. The kitchen's on view and the chefs cook virtually everything from scratch, so freshness is guaranteed, even if it means an additional few minutes before the dish arrives. But this is how food should be cooked (other kitchens please take note). And the team obviously enjoyed cooking...a happy chef is clearly a good chef. The service was excellent too, polite and efficient. All this, and exceptional value for money. Highly recommended.

Wow! Heavenly, just up my street. I wanted everything I saw! It's all beautifully displayed and so tempting. The service was first class. We bought some amazing pork pies, one topped with Stilton, another with chicken, ham & leek. There were so many savoury options. The meat counter has some very inspiring made up dinners. The stuffed meatballs wrapped in bacon and topped with bbq sauce looked amazing. We just happened to see the sign for this amazing food hall and what a great and very fitting name. Goodies! Unfortunately, with lack of time I was whisked away but I'm certainly making this my go to food hall and promise a detailed review with photos. Pleased check this awesome place out yourselves.

Pleasant staff very helpful excellent food menu is a little limited but it all looks and tastes great

Not what I was expecting from a "farm shop". Mass produced Ultra Processed Food, made to look like it's home made or direct from a reputable butcher. If these are made on site then why are so many additives needed? Artificial colours, preservatives and other nasties are not needed. When we make burgers at home, we use beef mince with breadcrumbs and seasoning. This is what I expect from a butcher. The cakes with addition of emulsifiers and Palm Oil, totally unnecessary, bad for your health and bad for the planet. We won't be back.

Beautifully set out farm shop the cleanest and tidiest I've ever seen I went to the restaurant for breakfast which was all locally sourced all good quality and a very good selection of food definitely would go again

Fantastic selection of good quality food, especially love the butchers section.

Have always popped into Goodies when in the area to pick up some farm food produce. They have a really good selection at very reasonable prices. So I would recommend the shop side highly. Not so much the new restaurant. A few years back, this side used to be a very nice cafe. Now it's turned into a restaurant. I found the prices slightly high for what you actually got on your plate. I had a ploughman's, which to me was just not worth the money paid. Nevertheless, the restaurant was fairly ramo with people. The staff were helpful and polite. One staff member in particular, Sam, he was very helpful etc. Despite this, when in the area, I will still pop into the shop but not the restaurant.

We went here on father's day this year, this time we booked after previous unbooked trip here where we were made to feel like a massive inconvenience to the manager for not booking! We were sat down at a tiny table, more suited to a light cafe lunch rather than a father's day family meal, there were 4 of us. The lamb on mine and my father in laws plate was so cold and raw I'm sure I could still here the thing bleating away! Management here treat their staff appallingly, ive seen this myself. I wouldn't bother tipping if you want staff to actually get the money as they won't receive it if they are either "under performing" or god forbid drop a glass ect, this has 100% happened and im sure something with recent employment law changes ILLEGAL. No wonder the staff turn over is large (go once every few months and the whole team will be different, no one stays) Management need some serious training in, well management and how to treat people both staff and like me a customer! All I've said above is my true and personal experience of goodies food hall. I shall never frequent the place again! The response you gave on my honest trip advisor review was a total LIE which I can prove!

Had a really good visit to Goodies apart from one small point. The food was just a bit cold. Breakfast for two at £20 is a great price for the quality of the food served at Goodies. Very fresh and delicious I just wish it had been hotter. If I had asked for it to be warmed up some of the flavour would have been lost. What I will say is I'm going to go back for another try soon.

The food and staff are excellent , plenty of seating inside and out . Good selection of food in the farm shop including raw meats and freshly cooked products . Will definitely return for another Breakfast 🤤 nom nom 👍👍👍

First, the food is great from the restaurant. The service is however something that let's the restaurant down. This is the second time in a month the 2 of us have visited. We had to wait too long to be waited upon for a table. The staff were not busy as 4 of them were talking behind the counter and knew we were waiting for a table. Someone came to take us to a table and was not the friendliest woman, talking to us as she walked away from us to our table. My guest told her we couldn't hear her and she was not pleased. We were told we had a limited time to eat as it was 2:45pm. We then waited a long time to order and my guest had to go to the counter to try and order, keeping in mind we needed to be gone by 3:30pm. There was 3 more tables who were wanting to order desserts and had to wait quite a while to get the attention of the waiters. We found out the waitress with the attitude was the manager. You cannot blame the staff for bad practices as it's the manager who teaches them. This is the same bad service we received last time we visited. Such a shame as the food is wonderful.

Lovely restaurant for breakfast, American pancakes with bacon were huge! Farm shop was nice too with some unusual gins which looked lovely

Amazing Goodies turn over is my favorite for lunch!

Myself, my mum, my nanny and my sister-in-law visited yesterday. The service and atmosphere were really good and our food was really tasty. The staff offered my nanny options from the children’s menu as she has a small appetite, which we thought was very kind. The rest of us ate from the starter section of the menu. My only criticism is there were not many lunchtime options in terms of portion size – hence us choosing from the starters. It would’ve been great to have seen a sandwich or jacket potato option. I had the garlic mushrooms on toast, which I really enjoyed and would definitely order again. The chips were also delightful!

The food is always delicious made with fresh ingredients, and the service is friendly and knowledgeable. The shop is also incredible. Both have a high price point but are worth it for a treat.

Got a table for 8 on a very busy morning without prior booking. Accommodated well for 4 adults and 4 children. Food was spot on and at very good value for money. We even picked up a few delicious products from the shop afterwards. We will definitely be returning

Fabulous farm shop and cafe. OK not the cheapest but much nicer stuff than the average supermarket.

The food was some of the best I've had. My meal was the fish with the samphire in ginger and spring onion, it was divine....

the waiting staff were really polite and inviting, with the food being some of the nicest duck i have ever eaten. the decoration and lay out of the restaurant is also stunning

Great selection of food and drinks in the store and cafe. As well as polite staff. Great layout and suitable for people with mobility issues.

Very disappointed with two Thai green curry’s purchased Saturday, absolutely tasteless and nothing like a true Thai green curry simply tasteless chicken in a very watery greenish coloured water Sorry but has put us off calling in again

Great place to eat and the staff are outstanding. The food hall is amazing.

The butcher is superb with his time and advice when discussing not only cuts but also how to prepare and cook the meat. What's more, the quality of meat is impeccable.

Asked for outside seating which is a great option in summer So much to choose from on the lunch menu whilst waiting for lunch orders to start. Tea and coffee very good Food was fresh and tasty 😋 Highly recommended

Restaurant is wonderful but of course quite expensive. A treat perhaps. It is attached to the farm shop 'foodhall'. Again great choice and devine frozen foods. Great selection of upmarket foods, sauces, chutney and breads.

Food was top quality and staff were mostly very helpful and friendly. I shall be visiting again very soon, but only if I book a table.

Right from the very first contact the team were warm, accommodating and friendly. Having been let down on the day by another BritStop, Lindsey was a superstar in facilitating us to come to Goodies and stay the night. The Food Hall is sensational with a huge range of fresh produce, meats, cheese and freshly baked goods, as well as stunning savouries, cakes and homemade ready meals! The pitch for campers is level and quiet with a beautiful wood nearby for dog-walking. We had a super tasty (and generously portioned) breakfast the following morning and continued on our way. What a find! Thank you.

5 of us came for Sunday lunch today and what absolute taste fest we had It was delicious we all choose differently and not one of us disappointed portions huge food piping hot and staff were lovely.

Lovely food, slow service but excused with politeness of staff, great choice on menu. Reasonably priced although shop is very expensive, But if your looking for something different to give as a gift, or a nice bite to eat, it's great place to go.

I love coming here to eat in their lovely restaurant! They always have incredible different menus available for certain days. Such unique and overall delicious food! 100% would recommend!

Came for breakfast and it was really good. Sat outside in a shady spot and service was exceptional. Farm shop full of lovely things but a little expensive. Produce all looks really tempting and well displayed.

Normally this would be a 5 star. Quality ingredients, lovely setting and staff. We are regular customers to both the restaurant & farm shop. Family visit for breakfast. We all hold discount cards the staff rang through full price, the drinks arrived late and tepid. Beautiful plate of food but only one item was hot the plate & ingredients were stone cold. Waitress a little off we went up to pay as no one cleared table or checked in On service. Some plates missing ingredients too. Just a bad day to visit but when we reached out to the manager they offered a full apology and improvements. Even a credit for the next visit which was unexpected but went above & beyond.

Stopped for an unplanned lunch on route to a north Norfolk holiday and was really happy we did. Restaurant was busy and we hadn't booked a table but they found a table for 2 really quickly. service was perfect mix of attentive but also left you in peace. Seafood was the special of the week so we ordered the sharing seafood patter, Quality was outstanding, choice of seafood was not only local where possible but a lovely balance of smoked, fresh and pickled and defiantly enough for 2 with the mini bread rolls and fries that came with it. We also visited the shop and again was really happy to see so much local and home made produce, we purchased ingredients for a cooked breakfast and couldn't of been happier with the quality of the meat, vegetables and bread, we even joined the Goodies loyalty club as we will make a detour to stop here whenever we can.

Had lunch - ploughman's shame the salad was going bad also not everyone likes salami and paproni the rest was fine scotch egg and a quarter of a small pork pie. What a shame we have always had lovely food

Staff look like they don't want to work there, Can't say I blame them when your continually mugging off people with those prices. Very disappointed in Goodies today - booked a table for breakfast. We ordered our food but the waitress was unsure about my husband’s order - he didn’t want any carbs as he is diabetic, just ssusage, bacon and eggs. She came back and said they didn’t do ‘build your own breakfast’. We left and went and had a lovely breakfast at the Foundary further up the 140!

Wow, what a Sunday lunch. I do love my food, and Goodies did not disappoint us. Fabulous range of veg, great roasties, lovely crunchy greens, plenty of meat (I had beef, my wife had pork), massive, crispy yorkshire puds and lashings of gravy. Cauliflower cheese is an extra, though... Was so full after the main. I didn't think I could eat a pudding, but they had my favourite bread and butter pudding, which was the best I've had for a long time. Would highly recommend a visit

Great brunch food sourced only from local Norfolk farms. Furthermore, the shop has a wide range of Norfolk and Suffolk produce.

We picked up some sausages and meat for a bbq whilst staying in the area - really delicious. Not cheap but worth it.

Fabulous lunch today. The chefs Crab special was out of this world. New pots, avocado and cucumber. Staff were attentive and the lunch was real value for money. Outstanding!!!!.

Cafe... the Best breakfast for sure. I never give 5 stars in a review, but here it is. I had a farmers breakfast and was so stuffed I had to wait 10mins before I could think about leaving.

No issue with coffee and food however experience ruined by being watched by staff continually to be rushed from the table even though the restaurant was only half full. What was meant to be a catch up with an old friend was ruined by being made to feel uncomfortable for taking up a table. We arrived just after 10 am and by 10.40 were given the bill even though we had not asked for it and were discussing have further items. We did in fact have 2 more coffees. We are now deciding where to go next time as we have not experienced this before. Is there a time limit on coffee and scones?

Had a lot on there menu but as I love burgers had to give one of there's ago and so glad i did,very clean place and staff are very polite will be going back again

Bought a couple of sausage rolls, one classic farm pork & one with red onion marmalade, Given their reputation I expected far better quality pastry & filling, The flaky pastry was tough & chewy & not at all tasty. The red onion marmalade was not well blended with the pork, & overall the taste was spoilt by the pastry being of poor quality. They offer a high quality dining experience, but this poor quality basic snack has put us off going back for an evening meal

A birthday meal out for a family member we had pre booked but because we had a pram this seemed to be a big issue which upset the birthday person and meant the small baby had to be held throughout the meal! Not family friendly, no light lunch menu very little vegetarian or vegan choices just overall disappointing and it’s a shame could be an amazing restaurant! Certainly not a cafe so at least you know when booking!
