Popped in for lunch, haven't been for for prob 2yrs. Lovely chatty lady behind the counter. Went for the 'big boy breakfast', was told could take up to 20mins, wasn't an issue for me, freshly cooked food is worth waiting for! Was a lovely breakfast too! Nothing was greasy, good quality sausage & bacon, all in all - good changeable options, lovely food, great service...SMASHING!! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED!!!

I went in last Friday food was good. Unfortunately it seems the manager had been up to no good as a couple of women were calling her all the names under the sun. They were escorted out. This however ruined my lunch . Shame as the food had some really tasty bacon and sausages .

Recently went as heard it has had new owners and was disappointed. portion size is smaller prices higher and not as good as it was and you couldn't pay by card it used to be a good spot to sit and natter while not spending massively but won't bother anymore

Cycling by on a Sunday morning and went past initially. Did a U-turn and what a surprise. The cafe is nothing to look at BUT great service, great bacon butty, pineapple cake and perfect cuppa. Really friendly staff . Definitely will return. They are advertising their Christmas menu. Plan to give it a try. Hopefully as yummy as today.

Happened upon this Diner, from minute arrived staff were lovely, warm and friendly. Nothing was too much trouble and good sense of humour too!! Lovely food, had omelet and chips and salad. Excellent all round.

Visited as part of our tour of breakfast venues. Pleasantly surprised as the cafe had been smartened up since last visit many years ago when the Job Centre was next door. Food was good and well priced, service prompt and friendly. Cafe was busy with a wide variety of customers ranging from worker to retired people.

Came here for a family fry up one Sunday morning. The owner is lovely and really wants to make sure you’re enjoying yourself, food is served really quickly and the diner has a great upbeat vibe. Look forward to visiting again soon in the future.

Having lived and worked in Wymondham, on and off, for over 20yrs, I have never been let down by Fairland Diner.. friendly, polite staff (particularly Carrieann). Honest, good old fashioned English food. Nice banter with everyone who eats there, and regulars who have been going there for over 30 years... must be doing something right! Well done to Craig and team!

Eaten food from this cafe several times and keep getting prompted to do a review. First thing to note is how dated and cold the place looks with black exterior and interior decor of black/grey. Memories of a school/works canteen or transport cafe spring to mind.

Great little diner. Called in for breakfast on a Sunday. Food was superb. This place has a great atmosphere. Clean and simple. No frills. But if it's a good old cafe style type of venue you're after then this is the place. Recommended. Will definitely go back.

Have lived in Wymondham for 26 years without ever visiting this diner; finally went, on the recommendation of friends. Clean interior, simple, basic menus, friendly service, great food and very good value. Veggie breakfast was superb. Don't bother if you're looking for something upmarket - this is basic, diner-style, fill-you-up stuff in plain surroundings with counter service. But it's supremely well done and the staff seem to take pride in what they do. Reckon we will be regulars......

The food here is very good for what you pay and is an old fashioned basic cafe, clean tidy. If you are in Wymondham it probably is the only place open after 4.30.

Tripadvisor shows this as being in South Burlingham, which is very odd as it's always been in Wymondham! Sophisticated it isn't, but it's a good cafe that is clean, with very friendly staff and good basic food at a very reasonable price. (The coffee is surprisingly good, and I'm fussy about my coffee!) It's certainly considerably better than when I remember it as a smoky bikers' cafe in the 60's and 70's!

Had some lovely food here today there menu is quite good wife had a crispy chicken salad and daughter had kids fish fingers, chips & beans. I had one of there daily set meals which was cottage pie with vegetables piping hot and tasty. The dailys come with desert which I had rhubarb crumble. The service comes with a smile and a good welcome.

i do not go here often but i did call in this week as it was convenient, a no frills basic cafe, noise from the adjoining amusement arcade was a little annoying but the lady serving was very pleasant and the food was very good, also very good for the price, if you do not mind the noise then this is a good friendly cafe to visit.

Tuvimos una comida para Llevar, lo cual era muy fresco y bien presentado. Los rollos de salchicha eran casera que los niños coman y querían volver.

We came on 14/10/24 for a family wake. Mandy and Simon did an amazing job of making the room welcoming and accommodating us with all our wishes. The service and food were of excellent quality with a very fair price and there was plenty for all. It was so nice that even the cakes were iced in the favourite colours of our late family member, not requested but we felt was such a lovely added touch. Thank you Mandy and Simon, we would definitely recommend you.

3 of us had lunch here. We all chose something different and each dish was great. Everything was lovely and fresh. The soup was homemade with a generous portion of bread. The sandwich from the specials was accompanied by two types of salad as was the sausage roll. The service was efficient and friendly too. I highly recommend.

Found the cafe purely by accident, on the High Street, stopping in Loddon for something to do on a rather autumnal day. You will find it near to the take away and funeral services, but don't let that deter you...So glad we popped in! Wide choice of cakes and some savouries, including vegan and/or gluten free. Huge pot of tea! Pretty tea room, very well equipped single toilet. Family affair, mother and two daughters bake everything on site. Long chat with lovely Lisa, so enthusiastic about their business. We only tasted a quiche and blackberry cake, but goodness, so delicious, and if a hint of other produce from their fine hands, well worth a further visit or cake order. Apparently mum Julie runs craft classes upstairs too.. talented family. We wish you continued success and will hopefully see you next holiday.
