Friendly staff and nice atmosphere

Lovely pub. First time at the weekend for Sunday lunch family of 4 adults and 3 kids. Staff super friendly (thank you Harry and co for taking such good care of us). Beautifully refurbed with old and new meeting nicely. We’ll be coming back. Food was delicious and portion sizes great. This is how service should be. Still not hungry!!

Good location in Great Yeldham, near to British Spirit Distillery. Small menu, food all good, brilliant entertainment from the chef quite a character. Worth it just for her performance!!!!!

Unbelievably cheap full vegetarian breakfast with unlimited drink refills, less than £8. For that reason only four stars from me.

I like this place as it is just off J 9 of the M1 and handy place to get a good meal with salad buffet rather than the usual Motorway service station junk food.

We stayed in the next door hotel, which is lovely but decided to eat breakfast here after visiting the previous night for drinks before bedtime. It is a Wetherspoons, so the food is good value and the drinks very reasonable (you are in the heart of the City). Breakfast was amazing, refillable hot drinks, so you can enjoy a few cuppas. I had the small breakfast, it was very good size and well cooked. For value it can't be beaten in my view. Staff were really friendly and efficient - I can certainly recommend calling in for drinks and food.

Very average food, which should probably be expected for the low prices. Had a roast dinner and could tell immediately it wasn’t going to be great. It came out looking like a mass produced school dinner - cheap cuts of meat, with vegetables like you would steam from a frozen bag at home. The roast potatoes were probably the nicest part of the meal. The dessert (chocolate fudge cake) was also not great. You could pick something nicer up for £2 from a supermarket. We were kindly greeted at the door, but our main waitress (blonde/glasses) was pretty darn miserable and unenthusiastic. Would not recommend this place based on the food, though it’s nice and spacious inside, with ample parking.

Lovely place to eat or just have a drink

Shame that this place has gone downhill... and it wasn't great to start with! Unwelcoming staff, expensive beers, cold and unpleasant atmosphere. Haven't eaten, but based on the other reviews here I wouldn't waste my money. The place really needs some love and attention.

Wow - just when you thought food couldn’t get any better we are amazed again by Jeremy and his fab team! Outstanding pheasant starter a must have followed by the best beef I think I have ever had. Service excellent and I just know you don’t even get this level of flavour and service in London….. thanks team We stayed over night in the Radish Room …. I love the attention to detail and the limoncello with treats on arrival. Really clean and comfortable and a perfect nights sleep in a dreamy bed! Breakfast was just an excellent experience with three courses …. Amazing
