Wow Wow Wow - wonderful meal - Tom Shepherd Pie, absolutely amazing. It's great that such a wonderful chef is collaborating with a pub company so his food can be shared with the masses. That said the Crispin is clean friendly welcoming great service and of course great food and drink selection - a definite must when in Ashover. The best pub in the village by far

Lovely pub by the river Trent. Nice staff and friendly atmosphere.

We were camping close by and advised to go here to watch the footie. It was a 'proper pub! Bar staff and regulars were great. Any pub where the landlord shakes your hand welcomes you can't be bad. Guinness was spot on. My wife didn't like the bottled cider on offer so the enterprising young man behind the bar produced a bottle of a discontinued cider(still in date)from under the bar! All in all a great experience. And my team won!!!

Alan & Co, you are a perfect example of a traditional village pub and the most perfect venue for any event, beautiful function room which perfectly caters for any weather, Alan can not do enough to help, I/we have had one of the most memorable surprise parties here, I can't thank you enough and will be forever grateful xx Kelly

Lovley pub. Great for railway fans

A wide variety of beers, wines, spirits and cocktails. If you like sport, there are televisions inside and out. Food is available Monday - Saturday: 12.00 - 15.00. Large beer garden. Always met with a smile by helpful and friendly staff. Well worth a visit.

Came tonight for the quiz, what a blast! We were visiting the area and stumbled on this gem online saying it done a quiz on Tuesday. Had a great time and the hosts were fantastic. Was nice to be made so welcome in a room of locals.

Fish is very thin not worth the money and chips were hard and not very tasty

Came down with a couple of friends to watch the football. Great service as always, the new menu is fantastic and well worth a go!

Really like The Packhorse Inn in Sleaford, atmosphere, food, people. The only thing that greatly annoys me is the amount of empty glasses left on tables much too long. People come in and look for a table as we did, but glasses other people had put there to get a table, at one time I counted 15 empty glasses.......

Decent brunch type place with a good variety of options. Kindly swapped out plum tomatoes for beans, so that’s a plus. Food was tasty.

Great place to have a drink.. very cheap and staf are friendly. Has a pool table and a dart board to play .. nice garden at the back where you can set and enjoy or drink or food . Also has a little outdoor play area . Great place .. my local definitely recommend

Had another great night at the Wonky Table last night. Food was fabulous. Staff are amazing. We are so sad our favorite restaurant is closing. Best of luck in your future endeavors.
