The Wonky Table in Derby

Had another great night at the Wonky Table last night. Food was fabulous. Staff are amazing. We are so sad our favorite restaurant is closing. Best of luck in your future endeavors.

This place is first rate and it’s a tragic that it’s closing after having our wedding breakfast here in 2015

I think the food was amazing! The staff were extremely friendly, the atmosphere was brilliant and had a excellent time overall. 10/10 would recommend to anyone looking to eat here

I went on my own as I’m away for work. Really yummy food, lovely staff and a nice atmosphere. They also had a deal on to save money if you got two courses which was a nice surprise.

Beautiful little place, decorated retro with unique touches. Looked after from the moment we arrived to when we left. Food was perfect quantity and drinks served promptly. Will definitely return.

Booked online without issue. It’s somewhere we’d both wanted to visit for some time, so chose a belated Birthday and Date Night to do so It looks smart from the outside. Inside is cosy, traditional, and warm, with a homely feel to it. We were promptly greeted, and shown to our table (downstairs; window). The restaurant was near-full whilst we were there Service was impeccable throughout - traditional, attentive, and personable. As such, we were never left wanting for drinks, and our orders were taken promptly at each stage of our meal We enjoyed Prosecco and cocktails during our evening. All were really tasty The food is beautiful! We shared Bao Buns, devoured the Sea Bass and Belly of Pork, and shared a Dessert. All were faultless - well presented, beautifully cooked, and perfectly portioned Testament to its popularity, we enjoyed our stay to its fullest, and were asked for our table so it could be prepared for other reservations (we’d been told about this when we booked) We SHALL return! 2 adults - Food and Drinks - 3 courses - £55 each - February NB - It’s dog-friendly! Harry (guest dog) was a beaut, keeping us entertained while we waited to be seated

Visited The Wonky Table on the 3/2/23..4 girlies having a catch up .. we were not disappointed..it’s a lovely cosy place..we were having lunch and chose to eat from the offer menu…we all had the same choice for a start..mushrooms Stilton in a cream sauce..it was delicious..could’ve eaten again and again..we had different main meal..I had steak which was cooked to a tea..one had fish and the other 2 girls had chicken with cassoulet..they all said it was beautiful….
