Good pub. No food, though there’s sometimes a pizza van in the beer garden.

Brew their own beer. Fantastic selection of other beers. Affable staff. What’s not to like.

Called in as I arrived in Dronfield with an hour to spare before my date, I was welcomed by a very nice young lady that assisted me in making my decision, they had a few beers which I have never heard of and allowed me to have a small taster. As it was early on a Saturday, I wasnt expecting much, there was quite a few people already sat and enjoying their evening. The atmosphere is perfect with a nice feel about the place. I would high;y recommend a visit if you're in the area, you wont be disappointed.

Class crisps, class beer and the plug sockets work a treat to an unloved and uncharged phone. Staff and management are sound tbh

Hidden gem , with brewery on site serving some wonderful ales and porters . Numerous guest ales at very reasonable prices prices . Served by Megan the Landlady ( always smiling, happy and welcoming), dog friendly- which is always a plus +. Well Worth a visit and will endeavour to call In again for a fine pint of ale .

Great local friendly pub. Bar staff love their job. Meet you with a smile. They stay a talk to you, not serve and back on their phones. Ended up playing darts with them one night. Bringing drinks to your table. Highly recommend 5stars

It's a old fashioned pub with a choice of real ales. Currently only does stoned baked pizzas on certain days

A very nice pub for my first ever visit. Clearly a space beyond where we sat that served food and had more services. We popped in had a drink and enjoyed everything about the place.

Great atmosphere, great staff, brilliant choice of drinks especially cask ale that’s brewed on site! Drinks promos weekly and karaoke and live music every Thursday!

Well when you have 3 real ale pubs within 50 metres it has to be good!? The Dronfield Arms is another " Brew Pub" home to Tempest Brewery. Casta had one of their Pale Ales.. Rear beer decking next to car park to enjoy a sunny south facing summer afternoon. Somebody knew Casta was a relative of Flat Eric, 1990's Superstar. (Now penniless and living with us!) Pub very close to railway station.

This is a very friendly and welcoming pub. I was going to be on my own at Christmas and was invited for xmas lunch by Meghan the landlady who is very friendly. There is a good local beer made on premises.

Currently the best pub in Dronfield by a country mile. The Temper beers, brewed on premises, are all fantastic keg and cask, and the Irish hospitality is second to none. Please keep places like this viable.

2022 update. We went back but I still haven't been inside. The original review still applies. 2019 Great little pub but I only really saw the outside and that was during the beer festival. That alone was an awesome set up (if a touch busy) but has encouraged me to go back in the near future. I'll do another review once I've actually been inside.

The small front belies a decent size boozer that runs from the entrance straight to the bar and back to a large seating area and exterior patio area. Great service and a good pint!

Love, love, love this pub. Got a very warm welcome from the lovely Irish landlady and served by very helpful and polite staff. Outside seating area is great and in the sun for most of the evening. Couldn't ask for a more friendly local pub 😍

Me and friends visited this place yesterday evening after our football session due to the coronavirus we had to order on our phones, not a problem ordered three pints. When we are nearly done a very rude Irish women looked like the landlady came out and said “if the weather continues to rain I won’t be able to come out and serve any more beers in this if it stops I can” never heard anything like this in my life but we accepted anyway 5mins later I order another 3 pints on the application for the same women to come out and say who’s (my name) I said me she stormed upto me and said “what did I say about ordering more beers” at this point it was a good 45mins before this pub closed I said you said if the weather stopped which is had she then stormed off and said no it’s still raining which it was not. The women then went to sit with two lads in the beer garden smoking and drinking herself laughing leaving the bar completely unattended whilst we were there and probably all night. This rude irish women did not want to work there did not care about the pub and what came out her mouth about not serving because of the rain was the most ridiculous thing I have ever heard in a pub. Such a shame because it’s such a lovely pub, but unfortunately being ruined by a women with no intrest in the place or the customers paying her wage disgusting customer service will not go back she needs the sack ASAP.

Waiting for the day for when we can get back in there, sink several pints, eat my own weight in nuts and crisps and then wobble home content and happy.

Excellent pub with a nice outdoor patio seating area. Good choice of ales and a couple of standard lagers. Large parking at the rear also . Doing a good job during covid of ensuring regulations are adhered to.

We live in odd times but at 6pm on a Tuesday Evening they still had 4 hand pulled real ales. Class.

Great weekend away made all the more fun when we attended a beer festival in dronfield. The patrons were amazing and welcomed the outsiders!!, even dressed in our farmers outfits!!

Great pub great staff good crowd. Pub includes hopjacker brewery so sells own beer as well as a massive selection of beers lagers and ciders. Proper pub as they used to be 😀

Warm and friendly atmosphere with great staff. Am slowly working my way through the many flavoured gins available with expert advice on mixers. Parmer Violet Is one of my faves.....yummy....Hic!!!! 🙃💜💜😁

Probably the best, friendliest pub in Dronfield. We meet lovely people there and most importantly it is VERY dog friendly.

Great Beer served by people who know all about the products they sell. Tell the server what type of beer you like and they will guide you. Visited twice, might have to visit again before we go back to somerset
