First time eating here and the food was great, our server was Maddie who was very attentive and excellent at her job, will definitely call again.

Been here a few times and it did not disappoint. Food was lovely as always. Our waitress Maddie was very attentive and nothing was too much for her despite it being very busy and attending other customers.

Brilliant pub, excellent food and lovely atmosphere with a great staff. Would recommend to anyone in the area who wouldn't mind a drink or a bite to eat as they are great.

Great food, atmosphere and and our server maddie was brilliant always coming over to freshen up our drinks and not leaving us waiting between courses would definitely come again!

The waiting staff were fantastic and very attentive, the food was good for most. However the additional toppings for the pizza one of my friends ordered was very disappointing, and the food wasn’t piping hot.

We popped in for a visit last minute and although they appeared short staffed maddie was an excellent host and tended to all tables. Nothing was too much trouble. We altered our meals with no fuss and when it came it was delicious.

Maddie was amazing, she was polite, attentive and very engaged. It was my father-in-law's birthday, we had 3 young kids there and also our newborn and she made our visit perfect.

Stopped off on our way home from Bradgate Park for lunch and wish we hadn’t. Staff were friendly enough and the setting is nice, but the food was very average (other tables also had issues) and was expecting so much more for the prices. Over £100 for a family of 5 with drinks. I don’t mind the cost when you receive a memorable experience - memorable for the wrong reasons today so shall not be returning.

Lovely atmosphere, wonderful food (the paté is outstanding) & friendly staff. We were served tonight by Maddie, who couldn't do enough for us! A lovely way to celebrate our first wedding anniversary.

Great experience and largely down to David! He was single manning & made an effort with every table, which was massively appreciated and noticed by all tables. The food was great and the restaurant was very nicely set which made for a perfect evening!

Excellent Sunday roast (both the pork and lamb were great), lovely place, great staff, and dog friendly too. Only downside is the crazy drinks prices (£5.70 for a pint of beer) but that's the same wherever you go these days I guess.
