The best restaurants in Charnwood East Midlands

Amazing experience from start to finish, we visited based ok past experiences from friends and family and they were not wrong, we arrived to be greeted by one of the owners who sat us down and explained how the ordering at table worked and gave us an honest recommendation about how many sliders and sides to order. We placed our order for nachos and our first round of cocktails with ease and they arrived promptly, this set the time for the rest of the night as we tried about 10 of their cocktails and were not disappointed. The sliders were incredible, we ordered 2 each and a large side of chips and this was a substantial amount of food, the sliders were cooked perfectly and the pulled pork were to die for. We left to go for a few drinks round town but returned around 9:30 for more cocktails as their cocktails were the pick of the bunch, despite being the only two in the building on a quiet Thursday we were made to feel welcome and play board games and on leaving had a lovely chat with the couple as they told us of their future plans for the place which I must say sound really exciting

Food was delicious in particular the gravy was as good as the wife’s. Dresser was sticky toffee pudding and was delicious. Drinks were food and very reasonable with pricing. Service was good considering that they are training so well done.

We visited today, Friday lunchtime, and it was full which speaks volumes for the reputation of the restaurant and college. We ordered the carvery and Holly was brilliant carving the meat and Cameron who was our waiter looked out for us. The food was lovely, we really enjoyed our desserts of sticky toffee pudding & chocolate brownie, which were bought to us in good time. Would definitely recommend and we'll be back! Well done to all the students & staff who support them!

Fantastic little cafe!! Don’t normally write food reviews on TripAdvisor but considering the last 18months we’ve all had, I think more people need to pay RT’s a visit. Excellent food and great staff to go with it. Will definitely be back!!

Found this place whilst shopping in Loughborough. It's an amazing little place. It's warm and cosy and the staff were so lovely, happy and helpful. Coffee and tea were delicious. The Bakewell tart was exceptional. I took home the last croissant on the shelf that day and enjoyed it for my breakfast the next day, just lengthening my 58 experience. In the New Year we are returning for lunch and maybe try one of their taster nights.

Fab food, great value and brilliant staff. Will def be back. Pizza are freshly made with thin sourdough crusts and the chicken was just lovely Nutella pizza next time!

We had an amazing Hot Chocolate in the miserable weather at the Belper Christmas Lights switch on!

This special Tapas event is only available on certain weekends as the restaurant is currently awaiting resale, so it is necessary to check when the next event is scheduled. The food is wonderful and very reasonably priced, with normally up to nine individual dishes for sharing between two people ( or a whole one each if you feel really hungry. There is also a good selection of local craft beers and traditional cocktails etc . The sweets are a real treat, so go on and spoil yourself. A really great night out and a wonderful atmosphere and the staff are wonderful and friendly. We look forward to the next evening as soon as possible.

I am currently devouring my second generous helping of breakfast. Mushrooms on toast. OMG. My eyes want a third but my belly prevails. I am pleasantly stuffed :). What a relaxed location. A warm feeling inspired by all the friendly staff. I felt very comfortable and at home here. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

If your in the area you must try this place, the Chinese food is authentic. It’s friendly. Everything will be explained to you if you ask. We had flame chicken set alight at the table we have to go back everything that come out of the kitchen look fantastic

My family have been using this takeaway for a while now as its the best takeaway we have had, the food is amazing and full of flavour, the staff are also very friendly and the food is well priced and very generous portion sizes. I would highly recommend. Madeleine

Absolutely lovely staff in all parts of the show room and café, can't fault them definitely the best showroom by a long shot for customer service.

Five Star Breakfast - great value and excellent quality and service - very friendly surroundings! Will definitely visit again and again!!

What can I say? Simply the best and most gorgeous Falafel in Loughborough, and the East Midlands! A must have for anyone who loves amazing food!
