I am currently devouring my second generous helping of breakfast. Mushrooms on toast. OMG. My eyes want a third but my belly prevails. I am pleasantly stuffed :). What a relaxed location. A warm feeling inspired by all the friendly staff. I felt very comfortable and at home here. Thank-you, thank-you, thank-you.

We had one half hour to kill so four of us gave the Terracotta a go. I ordered the full breakfast and it was the best breakfast I have had in some time. Everything was as I like it. Well cooked food and good quality.

I've enjoyed many breakfasts here over the last year or so. Always a friendly welcome and plentiful, beautifully cooked food at reasonable prices. You won't be disappointed!

Conrad always gives you a warm welcome and the cafe is always clean and tidy. Breakfasts are lovely and good portions. There is always a good special on! The homemade Cornish pasties are delicious. Also recommend the breakfast cobs! Prices very reasonable.

I love this place!! I recommend to all. A very personable experience, with a supper tasty breakfast. I chose to take the in-laws hear for breakfast who love dining in top quality restaurants and they spoke very highly of their choices.

If you've never been here, you MUST go ! This is the old canteen that the workers of yesteryear from Hathernware used back in the day. I know coz I was one of them ! Now brought back to life to serve this time the general public. Warm and friendly hosts that will serve you any permutation you desire from the menu. The breakfasts are reallllyyyy tasty and at a price you'll like !

Just found this fabulous little cafe. Stopped off for a bacon and egg sandwich which was served on the most delicious cob. I finished up having to have a second one. Really friendly, clean, well worth a visit for those on the road looking for somewhere to stop off for a break. Thank you. I will be back now I have found you.

Eating a very tasty breakfast whilst looking over the fields watching the kestrils looking for theirs made the trip to this hidden gem even better. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, with a homemade special of the day on offer at a very reasonable price, I would certainly recommend this cafe to anyone.

It's well worth calling at this small diner near Normanton on Soar. It's a one-man band, so the choice on the menu is understandably quite limited, but everything is tasty and service is prompt and friendly. For breakfasts, he serves Full English, Vegetarian Breakfast or Breakfast Cobs/Sandwiches - and eggs used are free-range. From 11:30 am, lunch is served - a home-made Daily Special (lasagne when I was there), or Jacket Potatoes, or various Cobs/Sandwiches. Note that he closes at 12 noon on Saturdays. Take-aways are available, and pre-orders by phoning 30 minutes in advance.

The steaks we had were amazing and perfectly cooked. We had no complaints about the food however our whole party was shocked by the pictures of women’s breasts in the men’s toilet. The photographs displayed are totally inappropriate objectifying women and have no place in modern society. There were also pictures of topless men in the women’s toilet which again is bizarre and has nothing to do with going to the toilet. The experience and atmosphere was totally at odds with the class food on offer. We left without having a desert and will not be returning.

100% Recommend Lynroys for a kids birthday party. Stress free and kids loved it. Simon was brilliant with the kids and making it a funny, special and awesome party. (7 year old) (Quote from a child, " Mummy mummy, that was the best party I've ever been to. Can I have mine here?)

My most favourite little deli! Have been coming here for 11+ years and have never left disappointed. The food is fantastic and whenever I take people there (generally grabbing lunch with a colleague) they're always impressed with the quality of the food. Personal favourites are the brie and bacon baguette and THE WORLDS BEST lemon cheesecake (chefs kiss). Only slight criticisms would be the place gets so busy it can mean can't always eat in (shows how good the place is) and they're closed on a Monday which tends to be the day I work in the office so can't always nip in to the best deli in Leicestershire.

We went today at 9am for breakfast as we’d had such a lovely meal a few months ago and were very excited to go after a sunrise walk through Bradgate. We all had poached eggs in some form and not one was runny which to me is the whole premise of a poached egg. The ham was delicious in my eggs Benedict but we were all very disappointed and frankly annoyed we’d paid someone to cook eggs who clearly couldn’t. We didn’t get a smile when the drinks were served or the food and no one came to check if it was any good. Hopefully the fact that the plates had all the eggs still on there might have given a hint. We won’t be back any time soon.

Well the food hasn't even arrived yet and the service has been rude, surly and unfriendly. The place is freezing and the staff refused to put the heater on and then told us after 10 minutes of waiting, it would be 15 minutes for veggie sausage. Very overpriced. The breakfast was OK but beans and tomatoes, and eggs were tepid to say the least. Bloody awful.
