Booked a karaoke party to celebrate my daughter turning 10 & wow wow wow. Was 10 out of 10. Simon the party host was on it, knew how to keep everyone upbeat, happy & make it one special memorable birthday party. My daughter felt so special & we would 100% recommend booking this venue if you’re thinking to have a party. Thank you so much to Simon & the staff for one unforgettable birthday party & such amazing decoration & loved loved the digital light up board & the Photo Booth, chocolate fountain - the list can go on on on. :)

Value for money. Spit and sawdust but good entertainment

We had a princess and superhero party yesterday and it was brilliant. The staff were very friendly and accommodating, the party entertainer made all the children feel included and made sure they had so much fun throughout the whole party, would definitely recommend.

The absolute best place for childrens parties, simon will have them playing , dancing, and entertained throughout, a perfectly arranged setup, fresh food all supplied, and non stop fun for your children. Once youve witnessed it its hard to think of anywhere else that comes close. Awesome family run business, plenty of parking, and an unforgettable party experience. I attended a 5th birthday party here today and I wanted to say I thought it was absolutely fantastic! Simon was amazing ! So impressed with his entertainment for the kids! I had just as much fun as my son! Would highly recommend!

Went for a kids party. The kids all seemed to really enjoy themselves. The main host was excellent with the kids and built a good rapport with them. Hot food was basic but the kids were happy enough.

This was the most fantastic experience for a children's party. Nearly 20 4 and 5 year old were entertained for 2 hrs and had the time of their lives. Recommended to anybody who is contemplating what to do for a children's party.

Great Atmosphere, went there for a children's party with my Daughters and the Host was amazing, really fun time for everyone, reasonably priced too for drinks and party events. Worth checking them out. Also there is parking, but limited spaced.

Cannot be more impressed with the kids parties. Simon is a legend, has 18 x 7 year olds engaged for 2 hours solid. Even the wronguns.. will rebook until the.littln's 18

Just been to a children's party at Lynroys. Absolutely perfect. Wonderful host, a natural with the kids who all loved him. Good food, good fun. Would absolutely recommend.

Took my granddaughter to a birthday party. Party was good and Simon looked after the kids and kept them entertained really well. Lack of staff meant it took a long time to get served at the bar, and then they had no beer pumps on so had to have bottled - which was luke warm.

5-year old birthday party. Almost everything organised by the venue and the emcee Simon was just brilliant. Managing 20 odd 5-year olds for two hours is a skill I'm in awe of :) Food was what you'd expect, so ideal. They put on just enough options/personalisation to mix it up. Very strongly recommended.

Good food reasonable prices, locally trained chef. Good seating arrangements. One way system in operation at the moment. Either eat in, or order out. Had carvery. Had beef and gammon, didn't try turkey. Beef practically fell to bits. Gammon not salty. Brussels, nicely done, as was the rest of the veg, even down to what appears to be good home made York shire pudding. Each persons main carvery served seperatly to other people as guided through to carvery. Helpful staff, non obtrusive and welcoming.

We had heard good things about the Sunday Fayre. The meat was nice and tender. But everything else was a complete let down. Luke warm overcooked mush. We were very close by and the food didn’t have to travel. Very disappointed.

Always a great service, really friendly team, ordered the Sunday dinner and arrived within 15 minutes! A lovely homemade dinner, the Yorkshire’s are delicious!

Ordered a sunday roast takeaway and was very disappointing. The last time i saw something this dry was when i visited a nunnery a few years back. Portion was very good but it was saw dry my jaw hurt before could get half way through it

Well what can I say the food was amazing and tasted so good. Great portion sizes and was piping hot when delivered. Also we was shocked to find out we also got a free pudding as well and it was beautiful. All in all fantastic and will defo be ordering from them in the future.

We had a carvery takeaway delivered yesterday it was on time despite the fact Roy had trouble finding the flat it was hot and so much food it was well worth the money we have had to save the dessert till today to eat we were more than impressed and are going to order one for next Sunday thank you lynroys love sally and mick

This weekend we decided to order a Sunday roast in lockdown. After a recommendation, we chose Lynroys and were definitely not disappointed! My meal and diet is gluten free and I was very pleased and grateful that measures were in place, and the staff were very understanding and made sure everything was actually GF and completely separate. The portion size was huge and the meal really nice, great choice to order from there and especially good to help them during lockdown. Would really recommend for a great Sunday roast.

Had Sunday dinner delivered. The food looked and tasted like it had sat on a hot plate for most of the day, the meal was dominated by a massive Yorkshire pudding that had the texture of cardboard, the portion size was extremely limited. This is carvery food being passed off as restaurant quality. One saving grace was the gravy.

Ordered on Thursday and the food arrived exactly at 4pm as ordered. Lots of vegetables, huge Yorkshire pud and very generous meat portion - for my husband! I went for veg only option and was delighted with the meal! Gravy was good and thick. Could not have asked for more and then opened the dessert box which was a beautiful cheesecake with fresh strawberries and cream! The sticky toffee pud was so soft and tasty. And then when I thought we could eat no more......two homemade biscuits for later! Thank you Simon and your team, could not have asked for more. This was our first lock down take away and it won't be the last! Cant wait to visit Lynroys again but in the mean time loving lunch!!

Came across Lynroys via social media today. We received a lovely welcome 3 courses £11.95 Good home cooked food, clean and warm.

My first ever visit to Lynroys did not disappoint. Food was fine considering how many they were feeding in a short period of time, bar prices okay, but entertainment superb - both the tribute act and disco. I loved it! Elvis was great and Simon the DJ / Chef was brill. All the staff were friendly and helpful. My only comment was that considering it was valentines night us couples felt a bit ‘pushed to the back’ by large groups of tables. That said I’ve already booked to come again for my birthday next month.

First time visit, very impressed and good food

We recently attended as a large group of 15+ for the ABBA tribute night. The night included a two course carvery followed by an ABBA tribute act. The staff looked after us from start to finish. It turned out this is a family run business and all of the family is involved from front of house to behind the scenes in the kitchen. We got a choice of two soups or to pick off the salad bar for starter, both of which were help yourself followed by a buffet carvery. Both my partner and I opted in advance for the vegetarian option which was a Brocolli and Cheese bake. The portion size was very generous and we still got to choose from all the trimmings off the buffet. You really could have filled your plate as much as you liked for both the starter and main. Drinks were reasonably priced for this sort of venue, comparable with hotel bars. The compere for the entertainment was excellent and really helped to set the atmosphere for the night. The tribute act were brilliant and were made all the better by the disco which followed, raffle and birthday surprises in between each act. A huge thumbs up for the photo booth, this added a fun twist to the evening and we enjoyed taking our photo away at the end of the night. An enjoyable night for a large group of people, everybody enjoyed themselves and will be sure to return in the future.

We went for my friends 80th. She had an amazing time. The ABBA tribute band were brilliant. My boyfriend particularly enjoyed the photo booth that displays your pictures while you are eating dinner, there is the opportunity to buy said pictures at the end of the night. Staff were brilliant and my friend really enjoyed her birthday.

Lovely place smashing family run place

We went last night for our works pre Christmas night out. We didn’t know quite what to expect but we were not disappointed at all. All of the staff were brilliant, on the bar and working the floor. Food was fantastic, piping hot and very tasty carvery. The entertainment was 90s and they were great, everyone was up dancing and there was a great party atmosphere. A brilliant night was had by all. Thank you lynroys, pretty sure you will see us again. 😀

Group of us went last night for Christmas party and 90s night and lynroys didn't disappoint. From the bar staff to the manager to the waiter's and waitress and the floor manager all couldn't help enough which created a brilliant atmosphere, food was awesome, apart from rock hard carrots but can't fault any of the rest. Once the music started and the performers came out the atmosphere got turned up 100%, awesome night and will definitely go again in the future, a hidden gem in loughborough, maybe a bit old school for some but we all loved it.

Dirty Dancing/Grease night. Live band were really good. The place is down the side of the canal and had a family run feel about it. Food was acceptable and simple and they did cater for vegan, albeit just one dish. A great laugh with a bunch of friends

Lovely staff, the place is very dated and in need of a revamp the seats are all uncomfortably with no stuffing in them. Food wasn’t the best not a bad price but you get what you pay for. It’s like a freezer roast

Visited Lynroys both for Sunday carvery and nights out on a few occasions and have nothing but praise. Excellent nights out and the Sunday carvery is a really good price for 3 courses with plenty of choice.

Food good friendly atmosphere music good seen a few performances but Elvis/ Kevin Paul is brilliant. And its a good night out.

Granddaughters fifth birthday party held here. Absolutely fantastic 2 hours of sheer joy for the children. Simon brilliant with all the children and the catering super. Would fully recommend for anyone considering a party for their young ones.

This is more than a restaurant! this is like going home to the most perfect family dinner ever. The people who own and work at this place are so welcoming we, (as do many others) go weekly to visit. They know their customers and make every special effort to get to know those they don't. As for the food it is very high quality and scrumptious every time. Everything is catered for so large families who may require vegetarian, vegan or diabetic diets can enjoy food together without fear of feeling someone may be left out or not being able to eat anything. I could go on forever but as they say "the proof is in the pudding" go try for yourselves.

Amazing 3 course Carvery here on Sunday. Rather a hidden gem even with sat nav struggled to find it, would have driven past as nothing nearby advertising fact it is hidden away there.

First time visiting Lynroys. Probably the best carvery that my family and I have ever had. Great family owned and run establishment. Already booked this venue for our daughters 8th birthday party.

Great place for a night out to party.

Two nine year olds had a birthday party here. The organisation was brilliant and the man in charge excellent keeping the kids entertained for ages. The only criticism was that the food was poor quality although most of the kids seemed to have enjoyed it.

Being fans of Bon Jovi and after having seen that a Bon Jovi tribute band (Billy Black's Bon Jordi) would be playing at Lynroys on the 6th of April I bought tickets for the event to celebrate my husband’s birthday. My husband used to play for a tribute band, so we know quite well how these work, or are supposed to work, so we had the biggest disappointment ever with this one.

A warm entertainment venue with a carvery & served with freshly cooked vegetables (not frozen) piping hot. Meat cooked perfectly. Good tribute (Freddie Mercury in this case) with a good line-up to follow. Fairly priced but bar prices are expenses.

Was part of a group for a birthday, 80's vs 90's. Food was ok not worth £25.00. Entertainment for 80's act were good although the second 90's act were shockingly terrible
