The best cafe food in the village albeit on the pricey side. Can get a bit noisy when busy

A nice little village cafe always busy.

Great food, coffee was cold but I didn't complain otherwise it was brilliant.

We walked in to have a coffee this morning, and were met by very unfriendly staff, who seemed interested in something else, but certainly not serving customers. One gentlemen sitting at a table who had ordered food, asked for his table to be cleaned before his food came, and was met with a stern glare from the staff!? We walked back out after 5 mins of the disinterested staff and unhappy atmosphere, and immediately went a few doors down to Od'thorpes, which was lovely and relaxed by comparison. I shall not be troubling the team at Pretzels again any time soon.

We walked in and felt immediately unwelcome. They were busy but not overwhelmed, however we were made to feel in the way, a nuisance and totally unappreciated. Another customer asked if he could have a table wiped and he was met with a glare. We decided after that, not to bother further and left. We tried further places and everyone else was very welcome and accommodating. Don’t recommend

The vegetable lasagne was probably the best I've ever had. Took it home for tea - 25mins in the oven and absolutely scrummy! Thank you!

No where to sit, the young girls working unfortunately did not seem to be very on the ball. Wrong order, had to go in and get the right order - but no real apology given. Shame, won't be returning.

A fabulous place to visit for really good food, if you are a salad lover you cannot go wrong, I have never found any other venue that serves such outstanding salads, an added bonus is the wonderful friendly service, I can highly recommend a visit to Pretzels.

This place was recommended to us by locals., which is usually a good start. My partner and I both had breakfast. Everything was freshly cooked and well presented. Thoroughly enjoyed our visit and if in Quorn again will definitely call in. Cakes, salads and quiches all looked good and we thought it was very good value. Staff were friendly too. Excellent all round!

Absolutely brilliant place,very pleasant and helpful staff. I have a mobility issue and they went out of their way to help me. I also need to take regular painkillers and they offered me fresh water to take them in the cafe. Would definitely recommend a visit if you are in quorn

Quirky little cafe/deli serving a variety of hot and cold dishes. Friendly, helpful servers.

A small busy cafe. We had breakfast here one day and I must say it was really good. All items freshly cooked, the scrambled egg was really good. I know you would think nothing could go wrong with scrambled egg but sometimes you get it and it looks grey because it's been left on a hot plate for ages. Everything was hot, the cappuccino was good too. Can't fault the place. Staff were friendly too. They also have a lot of what I presume are local items for sale, eg chutneys and jams etc. Will return when next visiting Quorn.

Pretzels Delicatessen catered for my daughter's 6th birthday yesterday, for 22 children and 30 adults. The service and food was amazing. Great value and quality food. The ladies at Pretzels are always friendly and professional. The guests loved the sausage rolls and sandwiches. If you want tasty quality food with great service then I highly recommend Pretzels Delicatessen.

Really lovely choice of food, the sausage rolls are especially excellent. I have noticed that the prices have gone up a lot over the last couple of weeks, also with very few tables and the majority of them booked even the two outside ones it unfortunately will no longer be one of my regular stops

I ordered a surprise takeaway afternoon tea for my mum's 80th birthday. It was fantastic, beautifully presented, tasted great and also had a vegan option for her granddaughter (photo is for two people sharing and includes soup). A big thank you to the cafe staff as this surprise made her day.

Excellent Deli been a godsend in lockdown Wonderful variety of cakes baguettes pasties abs sausage rolls Breakfast baps are amazing and the pork stuffing and gravy baps awesome. Great variety of cakes gluten and dairy free options. Always very friendly and attentive staff and follow the covid rules well.

Pretzels providing delicious takeaway food and coffee with excellent service. It was so great to see this place open a bit of normality with very well supervised customer organisation in the Restaurant. I had delicious prawn avocado roll,coffee and walnut cake and coffee Yum 🥰

I really can't praise this place too much. I know that reviews are usually overly gushing (by family or friends) or unfairly critical (by competitors) but I am neither ... this place is superb. The cakes deserve a resounding 10 out of 10 ...but the home made savouries (vegetable rolls, small partridge pies, scotch eggs) are phenomenal and warrant a 12 out of 10 mark. And my experience after about 6 visits is that the service is very good too. This place really deserves to do well and I strongly recommend that you try it out and help it to survive these challenging times.

Picked up a cob , cake and drink from here and it was really yummy they have lots of other goodies and deli items such as homemade scotch eggs! It has a really nice boutique feel, the staff are friendly and helpful.

Typical village cafe. You can have a coffee and a salad or sandwich. Perhaps, it should have more comfy chairs. Food was good, not excellent. Prices reasonable.

We visited Pretzel for coffee and sat at a table for several minutes and no staff approached. I went to the till area and stood for 2 minutes where 3 staff ignored me. We were disappointed at being in this cafe and being ignored. We went next door to Od'thorpes where we received a warm welcome and prompt service

This is a great little cafe. The quality of the food is excellent, and there is plenty of choice for a light lunch or for coffee and cake. Much of the food is homemade and can be taken away too. The Scotch eggs are the best I've ever tasted, and all the cakes I've had have been delicious. In my view the price of the food is very reasonable considering the quality of the ingredients, and it compares very favourably to similar cafes locally. The service is always polite and prompt. My only criticism is that the cafe is fairly small and so can be busy and crowded at times. Otherwise it is a perfect spot for lunch.

I have met a few friends here for lunch - needing to reserve a table at busy times, I found this was a total waste of time when i found they had let my booked table to a couple of friends with babies and prams - without wanting to make a fuss I told them how disappointed i was and they just shrugged their shoulders. One lady who works there seems friendly the others arent at all. the food is good and not bad price if you take away - I wont be going there again after this recent experience though

what a lovely deli/ cafe recently refurbished looks wonderful. cake was amazing and so fresh. all the food looks lovely . and its all homemade locally . Hot chocolate lovely and thick and hot. pure luxery. really freindly girls that work there, that are quick at making food and drinks, bit even though its made quickly it does not lack quality. really clean cafe,and toilet, great service, great food would definitely recommend and will be back.

We came across this warm, friendly cafe in Quorn. The food was delicious and freshly made to order. A little treasure! Food can be eaten there or it has plenty of take away options too.

If u want a decent lunch for quality and portion size this is a good start. I had the chix and bacon salad....maybe a slice of cake too. Don't be afraid of the price. First experience.

We stopped off here for a brunch and as always, the food, decor and staff were first class. There is a very nice menu catering for all types of food from sandwiches to hot meals and fabulous cakes. I cannot fault this establishment and they should be very proud of the service they provide.

Love coming here with friends for a catch up. One of the best places in the village for good food and coffee. Staff are friendly and always kind considering we turn up later on in the day, and have random requests like one shot soy cappuccinos! Thank you ladies we love coming to visit!!

Sin embargo, tanto el jamón y el rollo eran de la más alta calidad de primera categoría, mucho mejor que el que te dan en un promedio de café.

It's just a lovely place to pause, have a coffee, a slice of cake and a catch up with a friend. There are loads more things on the menu and I will definitely be returning.

This is an excellent coffee shop (and more!). Very welcoming and pleasant. First class service. Many "goodies" for sale in the coffee shop - many local produce. Well worth a return visit.

Visited here this afternoon with my daughter x we ordered coffee and decided to have a Brie and bacon salad we chose our two extras from a selection in the chiller cabinet x mixed bean salad and couscous x wot can I say best salad ever x service was excellent the staff are lovely especially when helping us to decide what dessert to take home x we could have taken them all x

Sin embargo, es el personal amable que me mantiene regresando, Rachel, Lou y Jane son todos muy acogedor, amable y servicial. Algunos pasteles encantadores, ensaladas y tartas saladas todo casero en oferta. Sigan con el buen trabajo que esté chicas agradecer!

This place gets busy, so go early to get a table. They have a great selection of delicious sandwich options, as well as homemade hot dishes and delicious cakes. I had a very generously filled baguette with Parma ham, mozzarella and pesto, and finished off with a huge chunk of Malteser cheesecake. Everything is fresh and made exactly to your liking. Great value for money, and there's plenty on the shelves to browse while you are waiting. Love the little cookies served with drinks too - a lovely little finishing touch.

A lot of homemade salads and sandwiches in this small deli / cafe in Quorn. Baguettes are quite substantial and are probably enough for 2 people if you aren't hungry. Bread is all from a local baker. Only problem is don't expect to get a seat at lunch unless you are lucky. They do everything for takeaway though.

Excellent choice of food and I love that you can buy homemade food to take away such as beef stroganoff or partridge in brandy mushroom cream sauce!My latte was superb and beautifully presented and I had a warm chicken, avocado, lime mayonnaise and rocket wrap - absolutely delicious and served with a yummy salad and homemade coleslaw.I will be finding reason to come back!

We have been using Pretzels since they opened and always enjoy a visit to buy some of their gorgeous coleslaw and scotch eggs.The family often have a drink and cake on a weekday afternoons and bring me a piece back which is always devoured with delight.Great little store in a great little village.

While the food here is good, if overpriced, the staff ruin the experience. I have been here a few times and each time it is the same. A smile, an acknowledgement of some sort would be nice. For that reason I will not be going back

I always enjoy a visit to pretzels in Quorn at different times of year.. I recently had a delicious avocado, tomato and goats cheese tart with salad which was delicious and good value. Cakes are always tempting as are their seasonal goods and pleasant staff-a must visit !

This is a small delicatessen which has a good variety of food. They also sell food items of an excellent quality.

I've been going here since I was atSchool on my lunch breaks, I don't get as much chance to go now as I would like. I highly recommend this place, the menu offers something a little different. The baguettes are wonderful and there is a gorgeous choice of cakes offered daily. The staff are all lovely too :)

We'll run cafe in village location. There are no Michelin stars here but for the price the value is outstanding, food varied and service warm. We have been here many times and will continue to do so. Pay about £15 for lunch for 2.

Lovely place for coffee or lunch. Fairly reasonably priced (free biscuit!) and lovely food and cakes. Deli is great and nice for a browse too. Only downside is there's no loo! You have to use the public loos at the entrance to the park.

This place is great, staff lovely, the wood without exception is great, all dishes are home made and oven cooked, not reheated in the micro wave to make then soft. Its dead reasonable also. Only improvement would be to get rid of the central island full of jam and get move tables in!

Stumbled across this one by accident. Lovely little coffee shop & deli in the heart of a sleepy village. Excellent coffee, brilliant service and the place was spotlessly clean. Offering a vide variety of deli items too. A definite re-visit when I am back in Quorn.

We have visited this little Deli on several occasions as it is in our village. It is clean, the staff are really helpful and there is a good choice of food from paninis, rolls, cakes etc. what I love also is the lovely selection of foods you can buy.If you are in the area then just pop in.
