Nice staff polite and friendly.....food was lovely and well cooked ..steak perfect!! And the only place in Quorn that seems to be open and serving food all day! It's a little bit different up here, than where we are from where everything is open all day and evening...thank you

Terrible terrible terrible service. We were sat at a table for three hours having drinks, no reserve sign and was then asked to move as there was a reservation. No sign to mention aforementioned reservation and no apology or alternative table offered despite us having drinks on the way. Not acceptable service and no up to par with what I have experienced here before. Sort it out.

What an incredible lunch at The White Horse Quorn

We celebrated my hen do by having a meal at The White Horse, and omg it was absolutely beautiful, the portions were massive, very filling and really tasty 😋 would highly recommend.

Went for a chilled light lunch with my wife. Easy to find, car park plenty of spaces. Going through from the back some lovely outside seating areas. Went inside and, being a Monday lunchtime, very quiet but still a nice atmosphere. Two very personable, attractive young ladies were behind the bar and serving food. We ordered our drinks and the barmaid said she would bring them over to our table. Perusing the menus there was so much choice and most dishes with a bit of a twist. Some of menus below. If you go on website you can see them all. Didn't have to wait too long for food. We had a special of breaded whitebait, prawns with chorizo and a triple toasted brioche with beef short rib and gherkins. All extremely tasty. All in all what a lovely lunch in a very atmospheric pub and will definitely be back. I must remember in future to take a couple of pics of food because it looked as good as it tasted.

Popped in for a pint while on the Quorn food and craft trail. Pleasant staff,didn't eat,but looked at the menu...very nice.

WOW, not your average country pub. The food is exceptional, good quality and quantity for the price, with some really great options on the menu. We had the Caveman Board and Chicken Skewers. For a busy Saturday evening, there was a good amount of bar and serving staff. Wonderful atmosphere with Live music that was just the right amount to enjoy but still be able to speak.

Visited with friends from Anguilla today. The service was excellent, thank you Georgia and the rest of the bar staff. We all really enjoyed the food, especially the caveman board entree (which my wife and I shared because it is huge) and unbelievably is meant to be for one! The ribs were succulent and the presentation was superb. My friend said his fish and chips were delicious. I had the calamari starter, and as anybody knows who eats calamari it is essential that the squid is blanched before it is cooked in order that it does not taste like rubber. The chef made sure that this was the case and it was so tender and tasty! It was our friends wedding anniversary and they even managed to procure a cake for us at short notice which made the night special. Not sure if they have music every Saturday evening, however they had a singer and guitarist on in the bar which gave the evening a lovely ambience. I highly recommend you give this place a try and by the way it was also very good value for money.

The food served here is far from a country pub. We had the peri-peri chicken skewers and the caveman board, which was spectacular. We thought initially that the board was on the expensive side, but the quality and quantity is definatly worth the price tag. Staff were the right amount off attentive. There was live music on the evening we were here, which was very good and not overly loud, just the right amount of volume. Would totally recommend The White horse, Quorn.

We had a great meal here on Sunday and was really impressed by how welcoming the staff were. We got served by a lovely girl called Ellie who was really helpful and friendly.

I visited here for an evening meal and drinks with colleagues and we were very happy. The food was delicious and the staff were very friendly and helpful. They couldn’t do enough for us. Food was well presented and of a high standard with plenty of choices available. Would highly recommend and the next time I am in the area I will revisit. Keep up the good work guys!

Nice pub with a good outside area. Unfortunately influxed with flying ants on the day we visited. A nice outside to enjoy in the sun and a good atmosphere. We didn't eat anything but the food looked good with pizzas looking particularly good.

Such a lovely place, food was excellent, great atmosphere and our waitress was delightful (wish I knew her name). Very personable, friendly yet knowledgeable about the menu and answered our questions fully. A busy and buzzy place as it was the evening of local university graduation so we were advised there might be a small delay however, no issues at all and drinks and food arrived in good time. Would definitely recommend and visit again if in the area, the staff definitely an asset to the business 😁

Lovely village pub that from looking out of the window could be in the Cotswolds. Absolutely fantastic service and the food was excellent. My friends loved their cocktails and we enjoyed our early evening meal. One of the few pubs open for food on a Monday. Actually glad the other pubs were either closed for a staff event or not doing food anymore, this was much better

So friendly and welcoming. From out of town. Wanted a snack and a pint to waste an hour or so watching the Euros. They didn't have it on, and it was a busy Sunday lunch service but they found me a spot, and got the TV on for me. The brisket loaded fries were damn good too! The roasts on the adjacent table looked immense. Definitely bookmarking this place for next trip up here. Finally, nice outside eating area which is smoke free. Something more places should do.

Amazing gluten free options, the staff are always so friendly (and really clear about what I can eat, which is great as often restaurants get a bit confused which is stressful). Been for a Sunday roast and a burger recently and they were both delicious, highly recommend! There’s also lots of vegan options if you are vegan.

Very disappointing. My partner and I went to the White Horse for the lunch menu on Tuesday to which we were greeted with a miserable barmaid who was no help in seating us at a table. We sat down and placed our orders with the young lady who seemed to have no interest in her job or customer service. Our food arrived and more disappointment - my partner had ordered the chicken and avocado roll. On arrival, we could not find any avocado in the roll, instead just a measly bit of chicken, some chopped pepper and one lettuce leaf. We told the young lady and she decided to take a drink off our bill to make up for it (a lime and soda - one of the cheaper drinks so not really much in terms of making up for it). As we were eating we then found hairs melted into the cheese in our loaded fries - thankfully this was then taken off the bill. Overall, very disappointed and will not be returning anytime soon.

Utterly disappointed by the customer service of the staff tonight. One staff member in particular did not say a word to any customers, instead was stood doing pull ups not moving out of the way for customers trying to get past him. Our plates were taken away while we were still eating, purely because this member of staff didn’t ask if we were done with them. We were also being rushed out after being there for one hour and our food was served 15 minutes prior as the next table booking was there. We’ve heard many good things about The White Horse, so not sure if this is just a one off bad experience or new poorly trained staff but I’m thoroughly disappointed and will not be returning.

Took the mother in law after going a week earlier and at 89 she said its the best lamb Sunday dinner she as ever had! That says it all!!

Visited for the Pie & Mash night for the first time after the floods. Food was 1st class as normal. Staff service was Top Notch, as normal. So glad to see the pub open again.

Had a great night at The White Horse in Quorn. A group of us went and had a meal and listened to live music in their 505 Lounge. The service was excellent the food very good and really good value. It was great to be able to enjoy live music. The singer was Kieran Fowkes who sang for 2 hours solid. Great voice and guitar. Played everything from Van Morrison, Oasis and a fantastic version of Mr Brightside that got the room joining in. Well done Guys.

Very disappointed with food beef was raw when we complained nothing was done we shouldn't have paid really but didn't want to cause to much trouble cos we were with my 85 year old mum none of us could eat It and it was a set price so when we went to pay was costed individual which we flagged up.we won't come again sorry I don't believe a real chef would of sent that out.starter was good and pudding but very let down by main.

I came with a group of friends for a celebration and was very impressed. The staff were very attentive and the food was delicious. The provision of GF options was outstanding. My partner was so pleased to have onion rings for the first times in years!

Great food. Always spot on. They are always spot on with charity events and doing the right thing. I am the biggest fan of this pub and support it in every way. Xx

Great place to go to in December. Open fire log burning. Great food and drinks. Atmosphere is lovely. Always have a look at the specials of the day as they're fantastic.

The busy vibe let it down, our table was in the bar with lots of people standing around us. The waitress did try her best to sort this situation for us so thank you. Food was good and reasonable.

Have not eaten here for a while, but when I do it is always good. Cosy village pub where you can get up by the open fire and enjoy a peaceful pint or two

I use to rate the Sunday roast here 10/10 but after today’s meal it was awful!! Gravy watery & no taste mash potatoes disgusting & no red cabbage Leaks instead!! 🤮 The beef was ok & that’s it!! For £18 they need do better!!

A little bit pricey but the food was good. Wouldn't recommend eating right near the front door as that area was packed on a Saturday night.

Nice village pub to visit with friendly atmosphere. My friend thought however that a round of drinks for at £22 seemed a tad pricey.

Very friendly people, brilliant service. Highly recommend when you visit quorn .

I was abused by the owner Dave after being in there for drinks with a group of people. He was aggressive to a member of our party and asked him to step outside for a fight. When I tried to calm the situation down he flipped and called me a c&nt. He is downright rude to members of staff particularly the young girls. I won’t be going back if he is still in charge. Local parents - make sure your children don’t apply for jobs there. Most unfortunate - perhaps he needs to look at an alternative employment field as hospitality is clearly not for him.

Only popped in for a drink but the place was very busy, friendly staff, good choice of drinks. Loads of choice for sitting outside Well worth popping in

Fantastic. Incredibly allergy aware so I felt totally safe and didn’t feel I was missing out on anything. The food was absolutely lovely. All five of us enjoyed our meals (and had to get a doggy bag to take some home!). The atmosphere was great and there were even blankets for the garden. The staff were helpful, knowledgeable and efficient. We really enjoyed it and will definitely return if we’re in the area again.

Good range of beers and local breweries on the pump. On the small side, low wood beam ceiling on entry but nothing to moan about. Have only been a handful of times for drinks, can't comment on food service but menu looks alright. Outdoor seating too. Good for parking.

The fish and chips was a great meal, large piece of fish in a lovely thin crispy batter served with hot chunky chips. Good outside area which has cover if it rains. Will be visiting here again.

Lovely Pub, friendly atmosphere, we were 1st time user's, we went in 3 times over the weekend at various times with kids and without, the place had the same feel every time, people just enjoying a drink and a chat. Staff very friendly and the food was delicious, very good. I don't live local, but if in quorn again, I would go back. Happy customer. 😁

Went for a Sunday roast on father's day, got the choice of beef or chicken. Went for the chicken and was served a chicken breast, mashed potatoes, roasties, Yorkshire, stuffing and veg. Chicken: 5/10, dry chicken breast, no browning Mash potato: 6/10 tasty but no place in a roast Roast potato: 2/10 very poor, huge chunks of boiled potato with 0 crispiness Yorkshire, stuffing, veg: 10/10 some of the best sides around Super slow service at the bar, 20 mins for 2 cocktails, a pint, and a diet coke. Friendly table service but the back room is not a pleasant place to eat - dark and red neon lighting is questionable.. Wouldn't go back but I appreciate this was a busy day (father's day) Veg roast was apparently great (neighboring table)

Great service. Arrived After 10pm and were served promptly and with a smile.

Well, there's no WiFi or internet connection and not the friendliest service. We booked a table for dinner and drinks. They let us buy our drinks and pointed us over to a small table in a dark corridor. We explained that we would rather have one of the nicer tables because people were sitting where they wanted to anyway. When we finally got to sit down, were given our menus and we were ready to order, the waitress told us that they only had pizzas and sides. Surely tell customers before they've decided what they want to eat :/ we clearly came for dinner. Anyway, if I could score half a star, that'd be more appropriate.

Heard good things and wasn't disappointed. I don't like going out for Sunday as my wife's dinner is incomparable, mother's comes a close second but can't find a fault with the white horse good portions great taste excellent standard of meat and good service. 1 complaint and its minor would ikea a bit more veg ...but will definitely make the 45min trip again

We found this gem by chance. Lovely cosy environment, friendly helpful staff and a menu that would suite all tastes. I had food from the fish night menu which was amazing, lovely texture and taste . Not overcooked which can happen with fish and wonderfully presented , my daughter is a vegetarian and had a great choice of food which was also well presented and tasted wonderful. We would recommend a visit, we will certainly be returning

The atmosphere was lovely with an open fire. I came for lunch, I had the pie of the day. The chuck chips were over done. The pie had little seasoning and to dry. The gravy was very tasty. Would come again.

Great friendly staff and the food was really good. Been here a few times and each time it has been consistently the same.

Visited on a busy Saturday night. Had a table booked for 8pm which due to unforeseen circumstances we arrived around 10-15 minutes late. Went to the bar to ask where we need to go, barmaid happy to help us and spoken to what seemed like the bar manager to which she said 'really?? but they're 15 minutes late' loudly. I don't think it's best making your customers feel bad straight away as soon as they walk through the door, and if you have something to say maybe don't say it directly in front of the customer. I ordered the catch of the day, which on this day was salmon. For the price it was terrible, overcooked and tasteless which I was disappointed about. The only redeeming factor is that the waitress's that came to our table were friendly and checked in with us regularly. My friends also mentioned that the food was pretty bland overall and nothing special. An outside observation is that I think they're trying to do too much on the menu, a chef can't be expected to keep all dishes to a high standard if they have around 30+ to do. They offer fish, burgers, pizza's, steak, sandwiches (up until 3pm). If they had one or two dedicated areas I think they could improve further. Would go back for drinks but not food.

Nice pub in the centre of Quorn. Good selection of drinks and pub food. Service is friendly. We enjoyed a family lunch here, something for everyone, including a few vegan options and kids menu. The pub itself is cosy and there's a separate dining area and outdoor seating. Rated 4 stars as one of the beers served was off and not all food items were available, which we only found out after ordering. I'd happily go back though.

Lovely pub and staff but sadly our wild mushroom toasties were inedible, literally!—the mushrooms were so hard that they couldn't be chewed or cut! Also the wet mushrooms made the entire thing completely soggy, and on top of that there was no seasoning at all. I didn't complain at the time as it would have ruined our day trip. Chips were good but the toastie was a travesty! Lovely pub and others around us seemed to be really enjoying their meals, maybe just bad luck.

Nice large pub restaurant. Opened up early to allow for a relative's funeral wake. Gathered in the back bar which has a small stage for music/ comedy nights and has a snug roadhouse vibe. The main drinking/ dining area is large and nicely decorated. Access for wheelchair and mobility impaired is good to the main eating areas. Wheelchair users would need assistance to enter the main bar Parking area is small but does have a couple of disabled bays.

As always, this place is bang on for decent drinks and a smashing meal. Superb service as usual, good selection of dishes. My wife's pizza was reeeeaaaally good, great flavour combo and that's from the horses mouth so to speak. My sirloin was cooked perfectly! I would say that you might want to review your supplier occasionally? It could have been more tender for the cut. Sides were delicious and my chips were up there with the best. Just going to mention the excellent and friendly service again!!!! Thanks guys! 👌

Fantastic country local, great range of drinks and, although we didn't eat, the food we saw being served looked good. The staff were polite, attentive and helpful, wish we lived nearer .

I got to say it was very nice food. I am not vegan but I had a vegan option. Very tasty. Drinks came after we got our food, but they were busy. It was hard to get somebody attention. I always check toilets and it was average as somebody can't clean it every hour. Had a fantastic time.

Cosy & quirky pub. Was very busy when we went for a family meal but it was lovely nonetheless. Only reason not 5 stars is the car park was extremely small and we got blocked in by another car parking right behind us, after asking around the pub trying to find out who it was, it turned out to be a member of staff.

Lovely veggie burger, nice staff, good table - pleased they have kept (some swanky) partitions in the restaurant area as there is a clear division between you and your neighbouring diners.

Lovely place for a meal and a drink. Been here multiple times for various occasions and had a lovely time. I like the outside area in summer and the cosy feel indoors in winter. Great it has free parking (can be full at times).

Cocktails were great, enjoyed the weather in the outdoornseatig area. Mon -Thirs they have a discounted 2 course menu. Pizza and Flatbeads both big portion fresh and tasty
