Some takeaway from this place most recently. Certainly a good selection on their menu. I am more excited to hear about their most recent announcement that they are undergoing management change and is being taken over by Everest Lounge group. EL is best rated Nepalese,Indain and Tibetan food in Market Haroborugh. Hopefully not long to wait. The change will certainly enhance the quality of Himalayan Inn.

I came in here last week with my lodgers because we were really hungry and it was just ‘there’. A new restaurant to Loughborough specialising in Bangladeshi food. What a brilliant find! They made me the most delicious food from my description of what I fancied eating. I went back again tonight out of choice rather than hunger. Again I let the chef choose and it was so so delicious, this time a totally different kind of tastes with a slight tingle on my lips and with enough carefully balanced flavours to keep each mouthful making me want the next. Don’t misunderstand me. They also have a very wide range of dishes on their menu, a warm hospitable welcome, you can eat in or take away, and you will have a truly delicious taste of Bangladesh to warm you up on a rainy cold English autumnal dark day!

We had an absolutely wonderful family evening for a double birthday celebration last night at Eastern Spice. The food was superb and, although the restaurant was deservedly very busy on a Saturday night for both dine in and takeaway trade, we were looked after very well by the friendly staff led Mitu, whom we've known for years from his days in Birstall. A visit to Eastern Spice is highly recommended, but do book in advance.

A first class dining experience. Extremely welcoming by the very professional manager. Very pleasant restaurant, clean, bright with a very good atmosphere. The one, and only waitress, April deserves a mention. I understand relatively new member of staff, but was so helpful with a super personality. The menu, was very refreshing from standard Indian fare with plenty of new and exciting dishes to tantalize the pallet. Portions were ample, and after receiving the bill, very good value for money. As a regular traveler throughout the UK, this is up there as one of the best meals I have had.

The Mixed Grill Sizzler was reasonably priced, and well portioned. The green chicken in particular was really good. The spices were slightly toned down, as expected when geared to the local demographic. The butter chicken was of the sweet and creamy variety. Naans were smaller sized and not overly heavy. The menu was a bit limited (hence 4 star), but I suppose it's new so understanding demand. The service was really very good and the staff were welcoming and very polite. The location is great for those in the villages, away from the busy city. Overall a great start for a new business. Would definitely go again.

Extremely disappointed. We have been regular customers for many years, and this is the first time we've eaten, albeit a takeaway, since it's been under new ownship. The quality of food was nowhere near the standard that we had before. The nan bread was not a pashwari nan as ordered and was thin and soggy. The coconut rice was dry and tasteless. The dishes ordered were disappointing, to say the least. No where near the standard of the previous owner.

Me and my wife came here after we found out it was under new management. They have put a lot of effort to turn the place around. When we came the menu was advertised but not live. It looked good value for money and we look forward to trying it out! The bar staff were very friendly however it lacked a lot of atmosphere. It was large, empty and felt like there wasn't enough furniture(or maybe people) to fill the empty space. However we will come and try the food!
