Great food, good service and reasonably priced

Been here a few times and have never been disappointed. Food is great and the staff are really friendly. Already booked again.

We love the food here and all of the staff are so friendly, especially the barman…. He’s always on the ball and our drinks never run out (nor does his 😂)…. The restaurant manager is always really welcoming and always helps us choose our dish if we’re struggling. Love it here!

Small place, was expecting a separate room. The food was really nice, however the portions could have been a little bigger. Our meal was spoiled rather by the barman who was gradually getting more drunk throughout the night and kept coming over to talk rubbish. Probably wouldn’t visit again.

A combined English pub and Indian restaurant. What a great idea. You could reasonably hope for great Indian food and fine English ale. The food was pretty good but the only hand pulled ale was terrible. William Bass Premium Ale - about the worst hand pulled ale I have ever had. If this is premium I dread to think what the ordinary stuff is like. Whoever buys the ale for the pub needs a bit of a rethink. I only drank half of it and opted for Kingfisher to wash away the taste. This have been a fantastic evening of food and drink bit bizarrely spoiled. How can the owner of a pub not have any understanding of ale? Oh well. This could have been a great discovery but who wants to go to a pub to drink muck?

Very friendly staff, lovely food and very relaxed atmosphere. We didn't feel hurried at all and thoroughly enjoyed our meal. Would definitely visit again. If you need food allergen information the staff are knowledgeable and discreet.

Went for a curry and a pint with my family and had a wonderful time. The staff are very kind and accommodating and the service was exceptional. The food was excellent, the onion bhaji were really nice. The madras was hot and the meal was worth the money. Thanks for a fun night.

The flavours are authentic and the sauces beyond anything I have had before as beautiful in their complement of the authentic herbs and spices. A really nice touch with the free mystery holiday draw with great locations from Wales to the Bahamas.

It is well priced for a high quality meal and the service is great too. The chefs are very talented and provide a well balanced curry with a huge amount of authentic flavour. I like my meal very hot and order it very hot without any fuss and the sauce is still high quality just with added spice for a hotter curry. I recommend all who read this do give this restaurant a try as I have visited many times and have a regular takeaway delivery and the quality is both high and consistent.

Had super time new year Eve. Food & disco were great 1st time we were there for meal. Also they were very busy.

Been here a couple of times a few years ago ( BC) and thought it was ok, didnt fancy going out so we tried ordering "Just eat" for the first time, very easy and arrived at our place 5 miles away bang on time, and once again a superb meal, thank you

Always a brilliant Indian meal, the best.

After driving past The Wheel for the best part of 8 years daily, we decided to give it ago. From the warm and friendly welcome from the chap behind the bar to the service from the waiting staff and the pleasant and relaxed atmosphere, I can safely say we had a great time. We had starters and mains which were all superb. I would recommend ordering from the cheifs specials if you're feeling adventurous, trust me you can't go wrong. So thank you The Wheel Inn we will be back again soon.

Very good food and service. Prices were competitive and the naan bread was second to none😊

10/10 for service. But the food for me was bland.

We had meal from wheel inn had takeaway on recommendation ,first chicken shashlik tasted of bbq sauce ,second my chicken bhuna tasted of coconut never had that In life and to top it of my husband's chicken karahi as you can see is swimming in grease he had to pick meat out . Restaurant did offer to sort on next order but going on this meal I would not risk it

Best curry around this area by a mile! So consistent I’ve tried loads of dishes they’ve all been brilliant and full of flavour, staff very helpful and friendly, can’t recommend this enough!

The Wheel has always been a favourite of mine. Very friendly atmosphere when allowed to be open and excellent delivery Sirvice at other times. Strongly recommend the Wheel mixed Tawa and my adorable wife loves the chicken Makani. Nann breads are excellent.

Beautiful food and great service once again

Me and my partner came here with some family on a weekday and really enjoyed our time/meals here. We all had something different and every dish was lovely. We love The Wheel as its one of our locals and the service is really good too.

The curry here is fantastic, the service is fantastic and the prices are fantastic! What more can be said, the wheel is a fantastic place to come!

Food was very good but service was very slow.

Our first meal out since the lockdown. Felt very safe and secure. Social distancing and measures put in place. Polite, friendly, and helpful staff. Lovely food, decent sized portions, reasonably priced. We'll definitely be returning soon. Thank you.

If you like your Indian cuisine this is truly unmissable. I personally recommend the sizzlers. The staff are very polite with nothing being to much trouble. I had the pleasure of meeting the owner ( Milan) who visited our table to make sure everything was ok with our visit.

We went to this pub with colleagues from work. Its a lovely traditional local pub that serves Indian food. The service is good and the waiters are polite and attentive. I have to say the starters were better than the mains. Their Tawa lamb is lovely.

Called in here on part of The Leicester Round, friendly staff, nice relaxed atmosphere.

visited as a family of 6, so all had something different and each dish was lovely. Would definitely be visiting again as staff were also very friendly and welcoming.

Went to this place as a recommendation and I was not disappointed. Service was great and the staff were attentive. The masala paneer and lamb kebabs were fresh and tasty and the mixed veg, chicken Karahi and Garlic curries had great sauces. I can't believe that I hadn't known about this place sooner. Best to call them first before visiting as they seem popular on the weekend.

This was my first visit to The Wheel.I was pleasantly surprised when I entered.long narrow room half pub half restaurant.It was a very bustling place where everyone seemed timings each other.When it was time to order the food,the staff were very friendly and helpful.They had an excellent varied menu.My own choice was a dish is never tried before and was delighted with my choice.It was one of the best Currys I've had.I will certainly be visiting again.D.Pick.

I have been a customer at the wheel for over 10 years and have never been disappointed. The staff are very friendly, the food is freshly cooked and the atmosphere relaxing. I can't rate this place highly enough.

Best local pub/restaurant in Leicestershire. Great food at a very good price. Pub makes everyone feel like your walking into your local no matter where your from!

We really enjoyed our first visit here. Lovely menu with plenty of choice - The curry was really tasty. Friendly and efficient service in an old fashioned style pub which was busy with a nice atmosphere of people who were in the restaurant eating, and others drinking in the bar area. Looking forward to returning with friends soon.

We come here as often as we can for a Curry.The have always been our favourite place.The meal is done to perfection & just how you the customer wants it.They have special curry & pint nights too which is great value for money.We're always made to feel so welcome too.Well worth a visit if you haven't already.

Just moved into the area and love a curry so gave the wheel a try. Its a lovely pub with a relaxed atmosphere and nice staff. The food is gorgeous and reasonably priced too. We will definitely be regulars in there.
