A great curry house the food is always delicious and I have had the most tender juicy lamb shashlik and they are happy to tailor it to my requirements as I don't like peppers so they put extra other ingredients in for me. Good size portions and the food is hot and fresh and tasty. The poppadum tray has lots of dips not just a few. The staff are always friendly and helpful even when busy and the price is really good not expensive at all. Its nice to sit in a booth as well for extra privacy and the decor is really nice. On a side note the ladies loo is to a high standard and very clean. So glad this is our new local curry house we will be going a lot :)

This is a traditional curry house, with dishes designed for 'Western tastes'. You can have chips and omelette too. In our group, one meat eater enjoyed their meal. Two people with vegetarian options didn't. My bhuna was, quite frankly, bland. Not a word I thought I'd ever use to describe a curry. Thalis are not available, even on request. Anything coconut based was a lurid pink or orange colour, which was a bit disconcerting. Service was OK, we did have to ask a couple of times for things. Dishes are heated at the table on a trolley, so everything is very hot. Dishes were generous, and prices were quite low, which may somewhat explain the popularity. There is a small car park behind the restaurant.

Food was lukewarm. Very little meat in curry. Poorest Indian I’ve had for a long time. No way this was a madras. It was like a Weatherspoons curry

Very average. Onion bhaji soggy, salad just unhappy lettuce. Plenty of paneer but sauces generally a bit thin. Strangest peshawar naan we've ever had, tasted ok but very orange and again, a bit soggy. The hot dish not cooked with proper spices, tasted like a handful of chilli's thrown in.

I was visiting family and wanted a good Indian meal. I found the Taraj Palace on-line. I placed an order on-line and their clever site allowed me to place my order in the afternoon to be delivered later that evening at a time I set. All I can say is: Their food was excellent! Their ordering system is excellent, my take away arrived exactly at the time I had specified delivered by a very polite gentleman that found my address. I wish all businesses worked like the Taraj Palace.

food was great as usual. however the tandoori king prawn pickle was disappointing. 8 small king prawns in a tiny bit of sauce. served in a small silver starter tray. was not worth the £15 I paid for it. was more like a starter that a main course. should of been half the price really.

I would recommend ordering from here. The food was delivered slightly early and was hot like it was just out of the kitchen. The food itself was good, there was plenty of well cooked meat in the curries, the naan was a good size. The curries themselves were very tasty.

Amazing hot food amazing as always

Saturday evening party of 4 , Did not pre book arrived about 8pm , It was busy but was shown to a table after 10mins , We all had starters and main course all good quality and value, A couple of mix ups with drinks orders but soon resolved, We all enjoyed the evening and said we would return.

If i could give this restaurant 6 stars i would. Everything about this restaurant is amazing. The food is off the chart and the customer service is on par with any 5 star restaurant anywhere in the world. I have visited this restaurant 3 times and ordeted takeaway food umpteen times and ive never once felt it wasn't perfect. I've personally tried many of their dishes and they are always created exactly as ordered, hot, medium, extra this or none of that. Thank you to all the staff as esch time i visit its not just good food its a dining experience ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

We had the lovely Shorif serve us today, such a lovely guy :) we got that proper customer service that we missed in the curry place down the road...not naming names... food was fab and so was the customer service, it was so chilled out and lovey, I will be back with my family 😀

Sorry to say I didn’t enjoy this. It was lukewarm on arrival. Egg fried rice was bland, no egg, thick white onion- completely flavourless. The fish curry was unmemorable . I am disappointed that I spent a lot of money on this. I would not eat here again sadly.

Proper old style curry. Not too hot. Pints of cobra to wash down poppadoms curry and rice. Service wash good. Always nice to sit in a little booth.

Food was not good tastes a lot different to what it usually is not impressed and wasn’t enjoyable.

Order was supposed to be delivered between 19-15 and 19-35 didn’t get here till 20:30. Chicken and rice was cold. Would of been un eatable if it weren’t microwaved. Only ordered from this place as I’ve heard good reviews of friends and family.

Food was late delivery driver drove up the street 6 times when there is only 3 houses on the row food tasted horribly and parts of it where burnt instead of the delivery driver coming to the door he climbed over the wall on the front and knocked the top off the wall off as its loose but then again its not for standing on or climbing on he thendecided to keep knocking on the window and standing on the garden (flowers, plants) all in all i was extremely unhappy with the service and food delivery

Worst I have had in a long time honestly cold tastless and cheese nan was cheese less what a joke dips were warmer than the curry's curry's had a massive onion in it not even chop up

Very disappointing. Thought we would be getting a tasty indian meal based on the (non verified) reviews. Starter was OK but the Puri looked more like a Naan. The mains were dreadful and bland. Looks like the sauces were out of a tin or a packet. Completely smooth and characterless with not a sign of a piece of onion, garlic or a fresh herb or spice. Meat was tough and chewy, Chapati tasted store bought. On the plus side the staff were friendly and the beer was cold and tasty.

The delivery ppl were very polite. However the food was awful, I couldn't eat much as it was so greasy. I don't think the samosas bhajis poppadoms dips or anything else were fresh...all tasted frozen and from a jar

Best place in whole of Leicester to have a curry. Food and service is amazing. Make sure to try the sizzler, cheese and chilli nan and the amazing variety of curries. Easy to find, plenty of parking and a bus route just outside. They offer take away and delivery. Drinks are amazing. Make sure to take advantage of the Indian beers on offer to make your meal taste even better. Make sure to finish off your dinner with one of their tasty desserts. Shout out to Reza for overwhelming hospitality ❤️

DONT WASTE YOUR MONEY GO TO MACCYS !! Home cooking is not what this restaurant provides
