Absolutely delicious- probably the best Indian 🇮🇳 takeaway we have had in over 10 years (and we have them at least once per month). We have remained loyal for many years to one restaurant though over the last year or so quality and consistency have been an issue so we have tried alternatives…. Bingo! this is now our go to. We had a Saturday night take away from here and chose the set menu for 4 people. We ordered online which indicated that the food would be delivered an hour after ordering. The hour went and half an hour later we called to be told they were busy. Then 30 mins later the food arrived. Whilst the dishes were as per the order, the quantity of meat in some dishes was minimal and the flavours bland and over coloured, verging on fluorescent ! The Tandoori lamb chops (£10.50 for 4) were all bone with minimal meat so not good value at all. Not sure I would rush back

Most of the order was either cold dry or burnt. I put in for a refund and I'm still waiting for Justeats to reply to confirm my refund after 5 days

Ordered at 17:39 for 19:10 .. which they accepted the order. Food was cold. Used flooding as an excuse when this is common in the area enough to know it would be the case after the recent rainfall. Didn’t ring me. I had to ring them after it getting to 19:45. Terrible service and after 2 years of using them. I won’t be ordering again.

Generous portions. Tasty food. Took notice of my special request. Delivery drivers are always so polite. Can not fault this restaurant. I’ve tried a few over the years and this is now definitely my go to 🥘 👌

Lovely take away, highly recommend this place for food we always return and never had an issue. We order on the app normally and had a slight problem with the app but they fixed it with trust and that's what I give high customer service. Thank you from a loyal customer who will be returning.

This was a Takeaway/Delivery, Not tried the Bengal before, so thought we should keep it local.. Ordered at 6pm, asking for delivery at 7.30pm, and bang on time it came. The food was fabulous, so tasty and plentiful, just as you would want... So much so, that i called them up and gave the a complement on how good the food was and said that they have us now as a long term customer, both to eat in and have as takeaway.... WELL DONE GUYS... keep it up

We just had a takeaway from The Bengal and have to say this place just gets better. The food was delicious and plentiful. Indeed, we will be having leftovers for breakfast tomorrow! Starters of Tandoori Salmon were moist and meaty, the Tandoori Chicken was a meal in itself, great portions! It's definitely going to be a future takeaway source, and I highly recommend it. Bang on delivery time as well after being ordered online via their phone app.

First time ordering from this restaurant. Couldn’t fault a thing. Best tasting takeaway I’ve had in a long time. Food arrived ridiculously quick and was really hot, which is rare when you live in a small village. Delivery driver was courteous and friendly. Chicken tikka masala was incredible. £2.50 for naan bread is fantastic pricing. Portion size was double that of an Indian takeaway I’ve had before, the container was almost overflowing. Received 5x poppadoms between two of us with dips included free of charge also. Genuinely so impressed and will now be a regular customer. Unbeatable first impression.

I actually don’t want to leave a bad review as the staff seem lovely and the food was actually really tasty but unfortunately the order was a good half an hour late plus there was what seems to be scrubbing brush wire? In one of the dishes. I have photos from this but I can’t seem to attach them. Hoping the restaurant addresses this, as it isn’t good, and very unfortunate as like I said the food was hot and tasty despite being late

I do not know where to begin with how bad this place was. This was the first and only time I will visit this embarrassment. We booked in advance for 7 pm on Saturday for 9, as it was a birthday for one of our family members. We arrived and sat down by 7.10 pm. Typically, you go to a restaurant, and they ask if you want a drink and take your order. We had to ask four times if we could get a drink over 20 minutes. Our starters took over an hour to come. OVER AN HOUR. We had to ask the waiter where our food was, who had no clue what was going on with our table even though he took our order. The restaurant has ten sets of tables. How do they not know? It was very apparent that they care more about their takeaway customer than their dine-in ones; several tables were heard asking where their food was? They had another table WALK OUT because they waited over an hour and a half for food, but takeaways kept going out the door. After 2 hours our mains FINALLY arrived, all but one of the people. We had to ask where this was. The food was pretty bland. I had a medium/hot dish, and my partner, who cannot tolerate spice, said she could eat that with no problem. The "manager" seemed a slight tone deaf and blind to the embarrassing situation in the restaurant and asked how everything was for us, no apology for the seer lack of basic restaurant service. One of our party members spoke to him privately, and as a result, we got a measly £15 off a £175 bill. As we were about to wrap it up and finally leave after nearly 3 hours, another waiter asked us how the food was. I cannot fathom why you would do that when the night has been a disaster. I urge anyone reading to avoid this place; you will be better off spending your money on a more deserving place than this place.
